And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves. Mark 9:7-8 |
And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. 1 John 5:20 |
The dictionary states that Jesus is the Jewish religious teacher whose life, death, and resurrection as reported by the Evangelists are the basis of the Christian message of salvation.
The word of God says that Jesus is:
- Jesus is the Son of God
- Jesus is the Christ
- Who came to earth from Heaven in the flesh
- Sinless
- Died on a cross for the sins of the world
- Rose from the grave
- Ascended to heaven
- Now sits on the right hand of God
- Will return again one day soon and call all of His own to Him forever
- Will resurrect the dead in Christ
- Judge all humanity
- Cast the devil and all the devil's followers into hell, everlasting fire, eternally separated from God
- Jesus will live forever with all who are born again, in the Kingdom of God for eternity
God says the only way to receive eternal life and enter the kingdom of God is through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the Son of God
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. 1 John 4:15 |
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:5 |
For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. John 16:27 |
God the Father says if you love Him you love Jesus, His Son. God the Father says if you do not love Jesus, His Son, you cannot love Him, God the Father.
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. 1 John 2:23 |
Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. John 5:18 |
Jesus is the Christ
Jesus is the Christ, Jesus is the salvation of the world.
God says those who do NOT believe Jesus is the Christ and Jesus is the Son of God are the antichrist.
But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. John 20:31 |
Who is a liar by the that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 1 John 2:22 |
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 1 John 5:1 |
Jesus was before Abraham
Jesus was before Abraham, Jesus has existed before the foundation of this world, Jesus has always existed with God the Father.
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. John 8:58 |
Jesus is the Apostle and High Priest of our profession
Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; Hebrews 3:1 |
Our profession of faith is in Christ Jesus. Salvation belongs to God alone. The gift of salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the author of salvation.
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2 |
Jesus is the bread of Life, the living bread
For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. John 6:33 |
I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. John 6:51 |
Jesus is the light of the world
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12 |
I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. John 12:46 |
Jesus is life, Eternal life is in God alone, Eternal life is in Jesus Christ
For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. John 6:33 |
Jesus is God manifested in the flesh
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16 |
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14 |
Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Hebrews 5:7-9 |
Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Hebrews 10:19-22 |
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 1 Peter 3:18 |
Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. 1 Peter 4:1-2 |
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 1 John 4:2-3 |
For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 2 John 1:7 |
God was manifest in the flesh, God came from Heaven, God was manifest in the fashion of man, in the likeness of man to save man from sin and death.
Jesus came out from God
Jesus has always eternally existed with the Father.
For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. John 16:27-28 |
For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. John 6:33 |
Jesus is the Lord
Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. 1 Corinthians 12:3 |
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11 |
Jesus is sinless
Jesus is unique from us in that He never sinned, even when He walked this earth as a man, He is void of sin.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 |
For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 1 Peter 2:21-22 |
And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 1 John 3:5 |
Jesus was crucified on the cross; died on the cross
The bodily flesh of Jesus was crucified, nailed to a cross, the ultimate sacrifice for all mankind for our salvation and so that we may be reconciled to God through faith. The body of Jesus died on the cross, but was raised from the grave to eternal life.
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18,23-24 |
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Philippians 2:8 |
Jesus gave Himself as a sacrifice on the cross - once for all people - for all the sins of the world
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2 |
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. Ephesians 5:2 |
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20 |
Jesus Christ resurrected from the dead; rose from His grave
The resurrection of Jesus Christ made it possible for us to be resurrected into new life. The resurrection of Christ Jesus made our eternal life possible.
This is now the third time that Jesus showed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead. John 21:14 |
For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. Romans 14:9 |
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: John 11:25 |
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Revelation 1:18 |
Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven
So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. Mark 16:19 |
Jesus Christ sits on the right hand side of God the Father in Heaven above
Jesus Christ is now above us in Heaven, sitting on the right hand of God in Heaven.
So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. Mark 16:19 |
And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. Acts 7:56 |
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1 |
Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. 1 Peter 3:22 |
Remember, all things are possible with God (Mark 10:27). If God said that His Son, rose from His grave, physically and bodily walked among people on earth - after His bodily resurrection - and then ascended up to Heaven and IS on the right hand of God, then He is.
With men, to the human mind, it is impossible to sit beside oneself, but God is NOT man. ALL THINGS are possible with God.
We must never place human restrictions, or limitations on God.
We are never to doubt what God can do. If God says it, we must accept by faith it is truth.
Jesus Christ will return one day for His own
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1 Thessalonians 4:16 |
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:3 |
Jesus Christ will resurrect the dead bodies of all the saints
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 |
For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:38-40 |
Jesus Christ will judge all people
But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Romans 14:10,12 |
Jesus holds the keys to hell and death
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Revelation 1:18 |
Jesus Christ will cast the devil and death into hell
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Revelations 20:10 |
Jesus Christ will live forever with the children of God in Heaven for eternity
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 |
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Revelation 1:18 |
The throne of God the Son is forever and ever.
God the Father said unto His Son, "Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever".
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Hebrews 1:8 |
We know through the Holy Scriptures that Jesus was before the world was (John 17:5); Jesus was sent from God in Heaven (John 7:16); Jesus came down from God the Father in Heaven; Jesus came to earth from above (John 8:23); Jesus cometh from Heaven (John 3:31); Jesus descended to earth (Ephesians 4:7-10); Jesus came out from God (John 16:27); Jesus came from God the Father and returned to God the Father (John 16:28); Jesus came down from Heaven and returned to Heaven (John 13:3, 16:28);
Jesus is eternal. Jesus has always existed. Jesus has always been with God the Father, because Jesus and the Father are one (John 10:30; 1 John 1:2).
Because Jesus was with the Father, He was able to come forth out from the Father above.
Jesus came from Heaven above
Jesus said, "I am from above".
And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. John 8:23 |
Jesus was before the world
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. John 17:5 |
Jesus is above all
He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. John 3:31 |
Jesus existed before the earth began
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. John 17:5 |
Jesus descended out from God from Heaven
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) Ephesians 4:7-10 |
Jesus descended from the Kingdom of Heaven to the earth, to become the Son of man.
Jesus came out from God
Jesus Himself told us that He came out from God, only God can come out from God.
For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. John 16:27 |
Jesus came from God
The word of God tells us all that, Jesus came from God AND went to God; Jesus proceeded forth from God.
The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. John 3:2 |
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God; John 13:3 |
Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. John 8:42 |
I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. John 16:28 |
Jesus came down from Heaven
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. John 3:13 |
For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. John 6:33 |
For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. John 6:38 |
The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. John 6:41 |
And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven? Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves. No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. John 6:42-48 |
This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. John 6:50 |
I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. John 6:51 |
This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. John 6:58 |
Jesus is the Perfect Gift from God above to all mankind, that came down from Heaven above, from the Father of Lights.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17 |
The Lord from Heaven
The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. 1 Corinthians 15:47 |
God manifest in the flesh
The bodily form of God in the flesh is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The fulness of the Godhead bodily is Christ Jesus the Lord.
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 2:6,9 |
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16 |
And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 1 John 3:5 |
God manifest Himself the flesh as Jesus Christ, conceived by the Holy Spirit in the womb of a virgin; He is Holy God, perfect and without sin.
God gifted us with Himself in a physical form like that of mankind, as Jesus Christ.
The Son of God and the God the Father are one. The Son of God has always been one with the Father.
Why did God chose to manifest Himself in flesh like ours? Because He loves us, because He promised eternal life to all who believe in Him, because this was His perfect plan of redemption for mankind, and because this was His perfect will.
God was manifest in the flesh, but this did not limit God. God was and has always been God, and will be God for all eternity.
In order to believe in Jesus, I must believe all that was said in the Holy Scriptures about Him. Partial faith is unbelief.
Belief in God is believing in all that He says that He is (Hebrews 11:6).
He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. John 3:31 |
Believing the truth of God, that Jesus came out from God above, Jesus came down from Heaven to earth, establishes who Jesus is and who Jesus is not.
The Scriptures are clear, that without believing on the Son, Jesus Christ, you will not see God, and you cannot receive everlasting life, because eternal life is given only to those who believe on the Son for their salvation.
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36 |
Jesus is the only one who has descended from Heaven and ascended back again to Heaven (Ephesians 4:10).
The same Saviour of the world, the Lord who came down out of Heaven, who descended from Heaven, and who ascended back up into Heaven, will come again one day soon, and only those who believe on Him will see Him, and be resurrected to new life with Him for eternity.
There are many facts that separates Jesus from any other man, or being just a man, His immaculate conception by the Holy Ghost, His virgin birth, His sinless existence, incarnation, His being the image of God, His being the only begotten Son of God, His eternal existence before all things, Creator of all things, all powerful, all knowing, His power to forgive all mankind of their sin, the miracles He performed, His power to destroy sin and death, His selfless sacrifice of His own life on the cross, His power to raise Himself from His grave, His power to ascend into Heaven, and His promise to return again to earth for all His own one day soon.
Immaculate conception
Jesus has never been just a man. Yes, He was birthed from a woman, but was NOT conceived of woman.
According to the Holy Scriptures, Jesus is the only immaculate conception, the only one born without sin, none else.
Other than Jesus, every other person born on this earth has been born from a human male sperm and human female egg.
The fact that Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit separates Him from all other human beings.
The fact that Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit separates Him from being like any other man i
n our history, and separates Him from being just a man.
Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the only human being ever born on this earth who was conceived of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the only human being on this earth to have ever been divinely conceived of God.
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Matthew 1:20-23 |
Jesus was fully conceived of the Holy Ghost.
The Holy Spirit of God conceived the Christ child, not man and not woman.
There has only been one immaculate conception in all of mankind, the immaculate conception of Christ Jesus. God placed Jesus in a virgin, so that Jesus could be born to fulfill His scripture.
The virgin that God chose to use as a vessel to host the Holy Spirit conceived Christ child was not divine, because only God is divine.
The scriptures clearly tell us that Jesus was conceived of the Holy Ghost, and not of mankind, woman or man.
The fact that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Ghost confirms His divinity.
The fact that Jesus was birthed by a woman confirms His humanity.
God chose a virgin girl named Mary who was engaged to marry a man named Joseph to be the earthly parents of Jesus.
The fact that Mary gave birth to Jesus did not make her divine, and to allude that Mary was anything other than the host vessel used by God to birth Jesus is erroneous. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Ghost, not Joseph and not Mary. The scriptures say that Jesus was conceived in her, not by her. Mary and Joseph were chosen by God to be the human earthly parents of Jesus. The fact that they were Jesus earthly parents made neither of them divine, because there is only One God and none else.
The conception and birth of Jesus was solely the miracle of God, by the hand of God Himself, and not by mankind, woman or man. Jesus was birthed from a woman, but born of God. Jesus is the Glory of God, not Mary or Joseph. No one is equal to the Glory of God, except God Himself.
Jesus existed before Mary and Joseph. God enabled His Only begotten Son to be born like man, birthed by a woman, to fulfill His word and so that Jesus could complete His work.
Sinless
The fact that Jesus is eternally sinless makes Him different from any other human being.
The word of God states that all human beings born into this world are born into sin, because of the sin committed against God in the garden of Eden by the first man Adam and the first woman Eve. Because the fall of man, sin covers every human being in the womb of our mother, when we are conceived of man and woman (Psalm 58:3, 51:5). The scriptures state that all people are sinners from their birth.
No human conceived of man and woman are free from sin. Every person born of the flesh is flesh, and every person born of the Spirit is spirit (John 3:6). Jesus was born of the Holy Ghost.
The Holy Scriptures tell us that Jesus was the only human without sin, who knew no sin from human birth to human death, to His bodily resurrection and ascension into Glory.
From His supernatural conception by the Holy Spirit, to His sinless human birth, to His bodily human sacrificial death on His cross, Jesus knew no sin (1 John 3:5). Because Jesus knew no sin, He was able to be the perfect sinless sacrifice for the sins of all the people of this world (2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Peter 2:22-24).
Jesus is the only human born who knew no sin (1 John 3:5).
The holy Scriptures tell us that no other human being has been born without sin except Jesus.
Except for Jesus Christ, because of the fall of the first human being, Adam, all human beings are born in sin. We are not born into sin because our mother sinned, but because sin is the inescapable nature of mankind (Romans 3:23).
None are without sin, no not one - except Christ Jesus.
From His human birth to His human death, Jesus knew no sin. No other person can claim no sin.
And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 1 John 3:5 |
Jesus could never sin in His human form, because He was born of God.
Only a perfect sinless sacrifice could be atonement for the sins of all the people of the world, and only God Himself is sinless and could be that sacrifice. This is why God Himself had to come to be the sacrifice for our sins. This is why God manifest Himself in the flesh, so that He could destroy sin and death, so that He could save all mankind from sin and death by His Holy sinless selfless eternal sacrifice. None other but God would do as the everlasting sacrifice.
Incarnation
God manifest in the flesh defines incarnation. Incarnation is the union of divinity and humanity, which is found in only one, Jesus Christ.
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16 |
God became flesh, God became human - manifest in the flesh - is proclaimed in Scripture.
God took on a human form, so that He could fulfill His own prophesy, fulfill His Holy Scriptures, so that He could save mankind by destroying sin and death.
God was manifest in the flesh is a foundational truth of God.
How is incarnation possible? With man this is impossible, but NOT with God. God is able and has complete power to manifest Himself in the flesh.
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26 |
God in the flesh is the perfect plan of God for the salvation of mankind.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14 |
The Word, Jesus, was made flesh. Why? So that God could dwell among us in a human flesh and bones body, so that God could share His love through His Son, so that Jesus could fulfill His Holy Scriptures, - be seen among men, preach the gospel, be believed on in the world, bring salvation to His people, heal the sick, feed the poor, make disciples, walk on water, calm the seas, break bread and eat with others, physical show people how to live in peace with one another, physically be hung on a tree, physically be crucified on His cross, shed His blood, sacrifice His life for all the people of the world, die on His cross, be physically buried in a grave, rise bodily from His grave to new life, be seen after His resurrection among people, talk and be with people after His resurrection to fulfill Scripture, ascend up to glory, and to promise to return one day to earth.
All these works of Jesus had to be performed in a human body, to be seen by mankind, to dwell among us, to be believed on in the world, to fulfill the will and word of God.
It was necessary for God to come to earth and to become human to fulfill His will on earth.
God manifest in the flesh - being flesh - never lessens or diminishes who He is. God is God always. God never ceases to be God, no matter what form or mode He is in, that is Father, Son, or Spirit.
So we see the purpose of the incarnation was so that God, could put on the humanity of Jesus, the Son of God, so He could bring salvation to the world.
The perfect plan of God was to put on humanity, so that He could present Himself as a living sacrifice for the sins of all the people of this world.
God is God. The fact that God was manifest in the flesh, did not in any way take away His divinity. God is always God. God remained God even when He manifest Himself in the flesh.
The sovereign will of God was for Jesus to become flesh. Becoming flesh never took away the power of God from Jesus, because God is always God.
Just because God was manifest in the flesh, became flesh, does not cancel out the fact that He was still fully God.
God is always fully God and He became fully human.
How can God manifest Himself in the flesh - put on humanity - and remain fully God?
How can Jesus be fully God and become fully man? The answer is simple, God tells us Himself that "great is the mystery of godliness" (1 Timothy 3:16).
Descended from and ascended to Heaven
He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) Ephesians 4:10 |
Jesus is the only one who has descended from Heaven and who also ascended back up again into the Heavenly Kingdom of God.
Man is not allowed to descend and ascend, back and forth from the Kingdom of God, only Jesus has such power.
God can go anywhere He pleases. There are no limitations to the power of God.
Jesus holds all power
There is no power than the power of God (Romans 13:1). God alone is all powerful. There is no greater power than the power of God.
Jesus holds all power. Jesus holds divine power (2 Peter 1:2-3).
The fact that Jesus holds all power separates Him from any other man.
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Matthew 28:18 |
Jesus holds all power, not some power, not shared power, not partial power, but all power. Jesus lacks nothing.
God who holds all power is the only one able to give anyone His power. Jesus gave His 12 disciples the power of God to vanquish unclean spirits, and heal the sick and the diseased (Matthew 10:1; Mark 6:7; Luke 9;1).
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12 |
Jesus has the ultimate highest power to save all people who call on Him, who receive Him, who believe in Him, who believe on His name.
All who resist the power of God that is Christ Jesus, resist the salvation of God, and will be eternally separated from God (Romans 13:2).
Jesus is the Glory of God
There is only one Glory of God.
No one holds the Glory of God except God.
Jesus is different from any other man, in the fact that He is the Glory of God.
Glory, power, majesty, honor, worship belong to God alone, none else.
Jesus forgives sin
God alone saves and only God can forgive sin.
Jesus is different from any other man, because He is the only one able to forgive sins.
But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) Mark 2:10 |
Jesus is the image of God
The Scriptures tell us that in the beginning man was created in the image of God.
Jesus is unique in that the Scriptures tell us that Jesus is the image of God.
The Holy Scriptures tell us when you see Jesus you are seeing God. When you see Jesus, you are seeing the Father, because Jesus and the Father are one.
Man and woman were created in the image of God, but Jesus is the image of God (2 Corinthians 4:4).
God created mankind in His image, in the likeness of His character and nature, equipping us with a spirit, a soul, a body, a mind - enabling us to love and be loved, allowing us to experience relationships, develop faith, interact with His other creations in this world, to think and exercise our free will. God's will is for us to choose to love Him, desire a relationship with Him, to follow His truth and to accept His salvation, so that we might receive everlasting life with Him.
Don't be confused, the word of God never states that God physically looks like us. Being created in the image of God never meant our physical face or body shape, but the image of the Spirit and nature of God, the essence of God, that is far beyond the physical realm. Remember, our inner man, spiritual being, is nearest to the image of God, because God is a Spirit, not flesh and bones.
This body we have today will someday be gone. Our flesh and bones will return to dust from which they came. God promises all who believe in Him a new body, a heavenly body, that will never decay, that will never get sick, that will never feel pain, that will never die, and that will live with Him in His kingdom forevermore.
The only begotten Son of God
Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the only person who is given the name of the Only Begotten Son of God.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16-18 |
Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, none else.
Self-existent
Jesus is self-existent. The Word of God contains many scriptures explaining the pre-existence of Jesus before His human earthly birth.
Jesus existed before the worlds were created.
Jesus existed before Abraham.
Jesus was before all things and all things exist because of Jesus and all things were created by Jesus (Colossians 1:16-17).
Jesus is at the highest level of all things, He is the head, He holds preeminence (Colossians 1:18).
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Colossians 1:17 |
The word of God tells us that, all things exist by Jesus and He that built all things is God (Hebrews 3:14).
God is eternal, everlasting to everlasting (Deuteronomy 33:27; Psalm 90:2). God has always been God. God was before all things.
God was God in the beginning, "in the beginning God" (Genesis 1:1).
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. John 1:1-4, 10-12, 14, 16-17 |
The Word was in the beginning, the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, the Word was with God and the Word was God.
These scriptures conclude that the Word was eternally from the beginning, made flesh and dwelt among us by Jesus Christ, and that Jesus the Word was with God and Jesus the Word was God.
The Saviour
Jesus Christ is the Saviour of the world (John 4:42). Jesus is able to forgive mankind of their sins.
The name of the Saviour is given only to God Himself, none else.
Jesus is the only human man ever given the power to forgive mankind of their sin. No person on this earth is able to forgive sins.
God alone has the power to save. God alone has the power to forgive us of our sins.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12 |
Jesus saves all people who receive Him and believe on His name.
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 |
All-knowing
God is all knowing. God alone sees into our hearts and knows our thoughts. God alone knows past, present, and future.
Jesus is different than any other man, in the fact that He knew everything that people thought, and all things that would happen to Him and everything that will happen in the future.
We cannot read the thoughts of other men, but God can. We cannot predict our future, but God can.
Jesus knows our thoughts (Matthew 9:4; Mark 12:15; Luke 11;17).
Jesus knew everything that would happen to Him when He was on this earth (John 18:4).
Jesus knows all things, past, present, and future (John 19:28).
Nothing about us is hidden from God (Jeremiah 16:17).
Jesus is on the right hand side of God the Father in Heaven, waiting to return back to earth to claim His own. Jesus is our mediator and advocate.
Jesus abides in the hearts of all true believers.
Shortly after Jesus Christ offered Himself (Hebrews 9:14), once for all (Hebrews 10:10), as a sacrifice for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2), Jesus freely laid down His life for us (1 John 3:16), Jesus shed His blood so we could receive remission and forgiveness of our sins (Ephesians 1:7), Jesus died on the cross (Philippians 2:8), Jesus destroyed the works of the devil on the cross (1 John 3:8), Jesus finished His work (John 19:30), Jesus raised Himself from death and the grave (Acts 13:30), so by believing in Jesus we might receive everlasting life (John 3:16), Jesus ascended to Heaven and now reigns forever more; and, Jesus sits on the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2), Jesus is in the presence of God in Heaven (Hebrews 9:24).
Jesus Christ is in Heaven
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. John 3:13 |
Jesus sits on the right had of God the Father in Heaven
After Christ Jesus purged our sins by shedding His blood on the cross, when He was crucified on the cross, He said "It is finished" bowed His head and gave up the ghost (John 19:30), then Jesus sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on High, with God the Father in Heaven.
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Hebrews 1:3 |
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1 |
Jesus is in the presence of God in Heaven for US
Christ Jesus is in the presence of God in Heaven for us, for our reconciliation to God.
For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: Hebrews 9:24 |
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 2 Corinthians 5:18 |
Jesus is the advocate between man and God the Father
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:1-2 |
God is self-existent. God was NOT created. God has no creator. God has no mother.
God was before all things. God created all thing, but no one or nothing created God. God existed before all things. In the beginning God... (Genesis 1:1). God did NOT create God, God was.
Jesus Christ was NOT created, the Son of God was manifested, God was manifest in the flesh to destroy the works of the devil (1 Timothy 3:16).
God sent His Son to earth to sacrifice His perfect sinless life for the salvation of mankind.
The miracle of the birth of Jesus in human form was by the Power of God alone. God is able to do all things (Matthew 19:26; Mark 10;27), even manifest Himself in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16).
The Holy Spirit conceived baby Jesus (Matthew 1:20) inside the host womb of a virgin named Mary (Luke 2:21). Jesus existed before Mary. Jesus existed before He was manifested in the flesh (Colossians 1:16-17).
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8 |
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16 |
By the power of God, Jesus was able to be manifested in the flesh, born from a woman, so that Jesus could take on flesh and humanity, for the sole purpose to save all mankind from sin and death.
The word of God states that Jesus was manifest in the flesh, NOT created.
Jesus came forth from God, out from God, Jesus is from God sent from Heaven above.
And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. John 8:23 |
Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. John 8:42 |
For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. John 16:27-28 |
For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. John 17:8 |
Jesus came from Heaven above to earth below. Jesus was sent to earth to be the Saviour of the world.
He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. Matthew 10:40 |
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24 |
But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.
And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not. John 5:36-38 |
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:44 |
As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. John 6:57 |
Jesus was before Abraham, Jesus was before the foundation of the world, Jesus has always been of God, in God and with God. Jesus was NOT created.
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. John 8:58 |
Jesus is the only begotten of the Father, Jesus Christ is the Word.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. John 1:14,17 |
The Word is God.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. John 1:1-4 |
Jesus came down from Heaven, Jesus was fashioned like man, conceived by the Holy Ghost inside the womb of a virgin, born as a man in the flesh. This is the miracle and mystery of God, to bring God into this world as man, in the flesh to take on life as man, to preach the gospel of salvation to the world, to take on the sins of the whole world, shed His blood on the cross as the final sacrifice, once for all, for all the sins of all the people on this earth, to be crucified on the cross in order to reconcile us to God, to die and be buried in a tomb, to raise up from death and the grave to resurrection of new life, ascend into Heaven, to prepare a place for us, and to come back to earth one day for all His own.
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Genesis 1:26-27 |
God said, Let us make man in our image. God created man in His own image. In the image of God created He them, male and female.
The will of God is for us to obtain salvation through faith in Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:9). The will of Jesus is for us all to be one, as He and His Father are one, as the Father is in the Son, and as the Son is in the Father, that we may be one in Them, that we may be one, even as They are one.
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. John 17:21-23 |
God has always been. God has always existed. God has existed as these three (1 John 5:7): Father, Son (the Word), and Holy Ghost.
We are baptized in the name of God, in the name of them who created us, in the name of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. We profess our salvation to the world through water baptism, in the name of God who saved us from sin and death, in the names of God who gives us eternal life.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Matthew 28:19 |
We see in the first verse of the Word of God, that "In the beginning God...". (Genesis 1:1). God existed before all things. There has not been a time when God has not existed. This is the foundation, the fundamental knowledge of God, to believe that He is ALL that He says that He is.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6 |
God alone holds all power, there is only one God Almighty, there is only one God, one Lord God who hold power over heaven and earth, the Godhead is in the fullness of Christ Jesus, the Son of God AND the fulness of God is in the Father AND the fulness of God is in the Holy Ghost, each having their separate functions, AND function completely, fully together as ONE GOD.
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 1 John 5:7 |
How simple, God explains Himself! God tells us there are three, three that bear record in Heaven of God, and these three are one God.
NO other three in the word of God are one, just these three are ONE GOD - the Father, the Word (the Son), and the Holy Ghost.
There is no doubt that Jesus is the Word, because God tells us in His scriptures that the Word is the only begotten of the Father, His Beloved, Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The scriptures tell us all that the Word was God from the very beginning.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 |
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14 |
There is only one begotten Son of God the Father, Jesus Christ our Lord.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 |
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4:9-10 |
God alone gives eternal life to people. No one else but God can give eternal life to anyone.
Everlasting life is given by God alone. No one else has the power to give life except God. Salvation is the gift of God, given freely by God to all people who by faith believe in Jesus Christ as their salvation. Without believing in Jesus for eternal life, no one can receive eternal life, because life is in God the Son, Jesus Christ.
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 1 John 5:12 |
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. John 1:3-4 |
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:10-12 |
God gave His life for all people, Jesus Christ died, shed His blood on a cross and rose from the grave to life, so that we all might be saved from sin and death, and through believing in Him might receive everlasting life in His Kingdom.
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 1 John 3:16 |
There is NOT eternal life in any other, only Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Eternal life is not found in any other way, or through any person here on earth, or purchased by any means, or gained through any works we might do, believing in Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life in the Kingdom of God.
God created Adam, the first man from God.
Jesus was begotten of God, conceived by the Holy Ghost, fashioned as man, came out from God, not created.
The word of God tells us all that Jesus existed before our world began. He was before the foundations of this earth.
God was manifest in the flesh, fashioned as man to save the world from sin and death (1 John 3:8), God manifested Himself in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16), in the likeness of man, fashioned in the image of man (Philippians 2:8), through the entrance into the human race through the vessel of a woman, in order to have the appearance of a human man.
No man, no human being could destroy sin and death, only God can destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8).
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8 |
The earthly body of Jesus was God manifested in the flesh, not created.
Jesus always existed. Jesus has always been God.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 |
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14 |
The scriptures tell us all that the Word was God, from the very beginning of all time. AND the word was made flesh.
The Word is God AND the Word was made flesh. God manifested Himself in the image of man, just for us, for the human race, so that we could be saved from sin and death and through faith in the manifestation of God, which is the Son of God, Jesus Christ, receive everlasting life.
Incarnation is the union of divinity with humanity in Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16). God in the flesh was necessary and the will of God.
God was manifest in the flesh, not the other way around, flesh was NOT manifested into God (1 Timothy 3:16).
God purposed that Jesus, His only begotten Son, would take on the form of humanity (Hebrews 2:14), manifested in human flesh, for our sakes, so that mankind could be reconciled to God the Father through His Son, and so that mankind might be saved through faith in God the Son.
The baby Jesus did NOT grow up to be God, He was already God. God put on humanity (Hebrews 2:14), as the Son of man, Jesus in the flesh, so that He as the Christ could die for the sins of the world, and so that mankind might be saved (John 3:17).
For God so loved the world, that He sent His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 |
Jesus is before all things
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Colossians 1:13-17 |
Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. John 17:24 |
Jesus existed before Abraham
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. John 8:58 |
All things were created by Jesus
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Colossians 1:16 |
By Christ Jesus all things exist.
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16 |
Why was it necessary for God to manifest Himself in the flesh as Jesus? Why did Jesus need to come to earth in human form?
God took on the nature of man, not angels, so that He Himself would suffer as a human being, so He is able to succour (help) them that are tempted, because He Himself was tempted as a human being.
God was fashioned as man, manifest in the flesh as the Son of man, so that He could sacrifice Himself for the sins of all the people of all the world, so that He could sacrifice His life so that we might live.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8 |
It was necessary for God to manifest Himself in the flesh as mankind, so that He could take part in human suffering and be a worthy sacrifice for the sins of this world.
It was necessary for God to manifest Himself in the flesh as Jesus, so that He could die on the cross for the sins of the world, that through His death on the cross He could destroy death, and destroy the works of the devil, and resurrect Himself from death and the grave so that we might receive eternal life in the Kingdom of God for eternity.
God was manifested in the flesh so that He also Himself could take part of flesh and blood as we are, and that through His death He could destroy the devil.
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; Hebrews 2:14 |
God was manifest in the flesh, fashioned as a man, so that He could show the mercy and love of God, being obedient to death, taking on the sins of all the people of all the world, even the horrific death of the cross, so that we might live.
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Philippians 2:8 |
It was necessary for God to manifest Himself in the flesh, and not as an angel, so that fashioned as a man, He could walk among us here on earth, as a human being.
For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Hebrews 2:16 |
It was necessary for God to manifest Himself in the flesh as Jesus, taking on the seed of Abraham, in order to be like us, so that He could be an example to us in the things pertaining to God, show us the way to God through Himself, and to make reconciliation for the sins of all the people of all the would who might believe on Him as Lord and Saviour.
It was necessary for God to manifest Himself in the form of human beings, fashioned like man, in order to make reconciliation for the sins of all the people of this world.
Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. Hebrews 2:17 |
It was necessary for God to manifest Himself in the flesh as Jesus, so that He could suffer like us being tempted, but not yielding to the temptation, knowing first hand the problems of man, so that He is able to help us, when we are tempted.
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. Hebrews 2:18 |
It was necessary for God to manifest Himself in the flesh as Jesus, in order to take on the appearance of man, to take the image of man, to be like man, and ultimately offer Himself as the sacrifice for the sins of the world.
God was manifested in the flesh as Jesus, in order to be like us, so we could understand God. In order to suffer and be tempted like man, like us, and to help us when we are tempted.
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. Hebrews 2:14-18 |
God was manifest in the flesh as Jesus to abolish sin and death and bring life and immortality to all who will believe in Him for their salvation.
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16 |
But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: 2 Timothy 1:10 |
Why was God manifested in the flesh as Jesus? To make a way, a path, for us to God. To save us from death, to take away our sins, even though Jesus had no sin in Him.
And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 1 John 3:5 |
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 |
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:21 |
God was manifest in the flesh, the Son of God was manifested to destroy sin and the works of the devil.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8 |
Jesus suffered for our sins to bring us to God. Jesus came from Heaven above, down to the lower parts of this world, so that HE might bring us to God.
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 1 Peter 3:18 |
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the love of God manifested toward us. Jesus Christ is God's own personal love gift to us, that we through Jesus we might live. God gifted us with His only begotten Son, so that we might live through Him.
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 1 John 4:9 |
The perfect plan of God
The perfect plan of God was to manifest Himself in the flesh of mankind.
By coming to earth to share in the flesh and blood struggles of humanity. God placed Himself on this earth in human form to become a living sacrifice for all mankind, to purge our sins with His blood, the only sacrifice sufficient to save all mankind.
Jesus was born into this world as a man child to:
- Bring glory to God the Father
- Fulfill prophesy in the written Word of God
- To be a propitiation for the sins of all mankind (1 John 2:2, 4:10)
- To shed His blood on His cross at Calvary for the remission and forgiveness of all sins (Romans 3:25)
- To take away our sins forever
- To free us from the bondage of sin and death
- Make a way for mankind by faith in Jesus' blood to God
- Make a way for mankind to receive eternal life
- Heal the sick and give comfort and hope to a lost world
- Show us the way to the Father
- Become a mediator between God the Father and mankind

Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Romans 3:25 |
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:2 |
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4:10 |
Shed His blood for the remission of our sins
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 26:28 |

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Matthew 24:5 |
Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Behold, I have told you before.
Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matthew 24:23-27 |
Antichrists
The word of God says that anyone who denies Jesus Christ, as Lord God is against Christ, an antichrist.
There are many antichrists in this world today. There will be an antichrist that will gain temporary power on this earth during the tribulation at the end of days. His reign will be limited and temporary and this antichrist will be destroyed by Jesus Christ.
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. 1 John 2:18-19 |
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. 1 John 2:22-23 |
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 1 John 4:3 |
For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 2 John 1:7 |
Yes, Jesus was a real person.
The history of Jesus is written in the word of God.
But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God;
and that believing ye might have life through his name. John 20:31 |
Secular historians have also confirmed that Jesus was a real person.
We all know that Jesus has a Heavenly Father, but who was Jesus' earthly family.
Jesus had an earthly mother and father, Mary and Joseph. Jesus had grandparents and brothers and sisters and cousins and aunts and uncles.
Jesus had an earthly family. Jesus had a mother and a father. Jesus had grandparents. Jesus had brothers and sisters. Jesus had cousins, aunts and uncles. Jesus never married. Jesus never had any children.
Jesus was earthly born from a woman, born from a virgin, but conceived exclusively of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus was before the world began.
Jesus lived as a man on earth, but Jesus was not like you and me, because Jesus is the Son of God.
The devil tried to tempt Jesus, but the devil was not successful in tempting Him. Jesus never sinned.
Jesus preached throughout the land the gospel. Jesus preached love and redemption, confession of sins, repentance, forgiveness and eternal life in the kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus:
- Healed the sick and diseased
- Made the blind see
- Made the deaf hear
- Made the mute speak
- Raised people from the dead
- Feed thousands of people with a few baskets of food
- Walked on water
- Cast out demons out of people
- Taught all people about the love of God
Jesus was crucified and died on a cross for the redemption of our sins, so we can have eternal life, when we believe on Him.
And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre. Acts 13:29 |
Jesus was raised from death three days after he died.
Jesus was resurrected, by God the Father, to heaven and sits on the right side of God's throne today.
Jesus is:
- The Son of God
- The Lamb of God
- The Saviour
- The Christ
- The Messiah
- The Lord
- Son of the Highest
- Our Redeemer
- Our Hope
- The Bread of Life
- The Living Water
- The Light
and JESUS is ALIVE TODAY !!

No, Jesus Christ did not have a wife. There is not one single scripture in the word of God that supports the false theory that Jesus Christ had a wife.
The purpose of Jesus Christ was to offer Himself as a sacrifice, a ransom for the sins of the world. Jesus Christ Himself was without sin, He never sinned. Jesus was pure and sinless.
Marriage was NOT the purpose of the life of Christ Jesus.
Jesus was manifested in the flesh to be the Saviour of the world, to destroy sin and death. By the resurrection of Christ Jesus, His victory over death, we too can receive everlasting life.
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15-16 |
Jesus was called the Son of man because He was God manifested in the flesh, lived on earth as a man - He was the Son of man.
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. 1 Corinthians 15:45-47 |
Adam was the first man God made from the earth, and the second man was from the Holy Spirit, is the Lord from heaven, called the Son of man, called Jesus.
Just as Jesus was fully God, Jesus Christ was fully man. Jesus has always been fully God.
The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God; Mark 1:1 |
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. Hebrews 4:14 |

The word of God is very clear, it says
you do not believe in God
if you do not believe in his Son, Jesus Christ.
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. 1 John 2:22-23 |
The scriptures say, if you deny the Son, if you do not believe in Jesus Christ, that you deny the Father, you do not believe in God the Father.

If you do not believe in Jesus Christ, God says you are a liar and an antichrist. People who do not believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God are an anti-Christ, antichrist.
For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 2 John 1:7 |
Believing in Jesus is believing all that the word of God says:
- Jesus is the Son of God
- Jesus came into the world, in the flesh of a man
- Jesus died on a cross
- Jesus rose from His grave

- Jesus will return on day to earth
- Jesus will resurrect the dead and judge all humanity
- Jesus will take his chosen, those born again, Jesus believers to heaven with him to spend eternity with God, in the kingdom of God
If you do not believe in Jesus Christ there are consequences.
The word of God says that if you do not confess, if you do not believe, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, if you deny Christ, God the Father will deny you.
If God does not know you, you cannot inherit the kingdom of God, you will spend eternity away from God in everlasting punishment, hell.

You hear your Father
You can hear your Father, either your Father God, or your father the devil.
Those who hear the word of God are children of God.
Those who cannot hear the word of God are children of the devil.
Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear him not, because ye are not of God. John 8:42-47 |
Unbelievers do not have God's word abiding in them
And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him he believe not.
Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are thy which testify of me.
And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. I receive not honour from men.
But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.
I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?
Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.
For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.
But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? John 5:38-47 |
Unbelievers will die in their sins
And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. John 8:23-24 |
If we die in our sins we will not go to heaven. If we die in our sins we will go to hell.
Unbelievers are condemned and will perish.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. John 3:18-20 |
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Mark 16:16 |
Antichrist do not believe in Jesus Christ
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 1 John 4:3 |

Man was created by God.
This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. Genesis 5:1-2 |
Man begat man, and from man came forth man, man was born from man, and man is still born from man.
And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters: And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos: And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan: And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel: Genesis 5:4,6,9,10 |
The scriptures give lineage of who begat who, which man was born to which man, human beings can only bring forth human beings.
Jesus was sent from God, NOT created.
Jesus proceeded forth and came out from God. God sent Jesus. Jesus came from God, came forth from God.
There is NOT one scripture to support the lie that Jesus was created, that Jesus was a created being like Adam, like you and me.
Human beings are creatures, creations of God.
Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. John 8:42 |
This verse, like so many others throughout the word of God, tell us all that Jesus is God. I don't know how much clearer it could be, Jesus said, "I proceeded forth and came from God". Nothing but God can proceed forth and come from God.
No one can receive the truth of the word of God without seeing the truth of Jesus Christ, that He is God. Once we accept the gift of God, salvation, through faith in Jesus Christ, by grace, we receive the knowledge of God, the truth of God, we believe that God is all who He says that He is, Creator, Saviour, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.
The word of God tells us all that those who do NOT hear the truth are NOT of God; therefore hear them not, cannot hear God's truth.
He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. John 8:47 |
Until a person hears God's words, receives Jesus as Lord over their life, they are NOT of God, they are not saved.
We are only made God's own, we are only made the children of God through believing in His Son, through faith in Jesus Christ as the Lord God of our lives.
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26 |
Jesus is the only begotten Son of God
The scriptures tell us that Jesus was the Son of God, the only begotten of God.
God can only beget God. Only God comes forth from God.
The scriptures clearly tell us that Jesus was NOT created like Adam.
Adam was formed from the dust of the ground.
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. Genesis 2:7-8 |
The first man, which is Adam is of the earth, formed from the dust of the ground, made and created by the hand of God.
The second man, Jesus Christ, is the Lord from Heaven.
Jesus was NOT created by God, Jesus the Lord came forth from God, Jesus was God manifested in the flesh. (Jesus is now with God in Heaven).
The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 1 Corinthians 15:47-48 |
I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Psalm 2:7 |
Jesus is God manifest in the flesh
God took an earthly form, God was manifest in the flesh, to live among us and live like us in the flesh, so that He could save us from sin and death.
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16 |
Only God can come from God.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14 |
The scriptures go on to explain why God manifest himself in the flesh, why God had to come to the earth as Jesus, to destroy the works of the devil and to save mankind.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8 |
Without the manifestation of God in the flesh, God manifest in the form of man, as Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, we could not and would NOT be saved.
So why did God manifest himself in the flesh as the Son of God, why didn't God himself come down to earth?
Because God is NOT a man, God is a spirit. It was necessary for God to manifest Himself as a man, a human being, in order to save all the people of this world from sin and death.
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Numbers 23:19 |
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24 |
God had to become tangible, seen and heard, flesh and blood, so that He could live in the world, but without sin, be shown to men, walk in the midst of the company of other people, believed on in the world.
Jesus had to die on a cross for the sins of the world, so He could be a sacrifice for all the sins of all the people of all the world.
A sinless, righteous, holy, pure sacrifice was the only sacrifice that God could accept for the sins of the world.
The sacrifice for the sins of this world had to be Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, there was no one else that was acceptable, as a sacrifice for the sins of the human race.
Jesus was resurrected into new life, so we also could have eternal life in the presence of God in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus was begotten from God.
God can only beget God, God can only come forth from God.
God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. Acts 13:33 |
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14 |
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. John 1:18 |
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4:9-10 |
God the Father and God the Son, Jesus Christ, are not separated.
If we believe in God the Father, we believe also in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. We cannot believe in one without the other.
We cannot believe in God the Father without believing in God the Son, Jesus Christ.
Belief in God the Father alone, without believing in Christ Jesus His Son, will NOT gain you salvation and entrance into the kingdom of God.
That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. John 5:23 |
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. John 14:6-7 |
Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. John 14:8-11 |
But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. John 10:38 |
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. John 14:1 |
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: John 17:21-22 |
God and His Father
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Revelation 1:5-6 |
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is OF God.
Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. John 6:46 |
John 14:9-10 |
All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him. Luke 10:22 |
The Father is the Son. God the Father is God the Son. God the Father and God the Son are one God.
The word of God tells us that one day Jesus will return.
Some people falsely claim that Jesus has already returned.
Some people falsely claim that they are Jesus.
Let's look at what God says...
The return of Jesus
How do we know that Jesus will return to earth one day?
We know because God promised us the return of Jesus, and as we know, God has never and can never break his promises.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:1-3 |
Jesus promised the He would return and gather all His followers, that are left, and take us all who believe in Him to be with Him forever in Heaven.
Over and over again in the Holy scriptures, the word of God, Jesus promises to return.
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. John 14:28 |
Why is Jesus' return called the Second Coming?
Because it is the second time Jesus came to earth.
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Hebrews 9:28 |
Jesus has not returned yet, because I didn't see Him return. God tells us in His word, that every eye shall see Jesus when he returns.
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. Revelation 1:7 |
How can everyone in the world see Jesus Christ's return? Simple, He is the God Almighty.
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Revelation 1:8 |
For more information see - SECOND COMING
The disciples of Jesus asked Him what sign will there be of His return, His second coming, and the end of the world.
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? Matthew 24:3 |
Jesus told His disciples to be prepared that no one deceives you, and that many people will show up, falsely claiming to be Him and even say that they are the Christ, and that many people who do not know the truth will believe them.
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Matthew 24:4-5 |
And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Mark 13:5-6 |
And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. Luke 21:8 |
False Christs
Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matthew 24:23-24 |
And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. Mark 13:21-22 |
The word of God tells us in the last days, people will say, 'Hey come over here, the Christ is here' , but we are NOT to believe them, because they are false Christs and they will be everywhere.
Who will believe them? Well, the scriptures say - these false Christs will deceive the very elect. Believers of the true Christ are the very elect. (I find this scripture moving, because I am one of the elect.)
This tells me that in the last days, which we are living in right now, even we as believers should be extra careful and mindful to keep focused on the true Christ and fill ourselves with the word of God to give us strength and power, to overcome the lies and deception that are soon to come.
God tells us in His word that we are to GO NOT FORTH, that we are NOT to go and see the claims of these false Christs.
Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. Matthew 24:25-26 |
Don't go see the false Christs and do NOT believe any of it.
How do I know that Christ Jesus has NOT already returned?
I know that Christ Jesus has NOT already returned because I have not seen Him return, and I'm still here.
I know Christ Jesus has not returned because I know, as a true believer of the true Christ, the return of Christ will be spectacular with lightning and thunder and I personally will see this happen. The scriptures of God say that "every eye shall see" Christ's return in the Heavens.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, will come to earth the second time in the clouds of heaven with power and glory and every eye shall see him.
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Matthew 24:27,30 |

Yes, Jesus Christ lives today and alive for evermore !!
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore. Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Revelation 1:18 |
Jesus explained that if He did not go away to heaven and to God the Father, that the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit could not come to us.
Jesus said that we could not bear to hear all he had to say, right now, but when the Spirit of truth, the Holy Ghost comes we will understand the truth of Christ through our spirit.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
Of sin, because they believe not on me;
Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. John 16:7-13 |
We know that though Jesus left the earth, that Jesus never leaves us. Jesus promised us, that he would be with us always, even unto the end of the world.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:19-20 |
Jesus is alive yesterday, today and forever.
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Hebrews 13:8 |
God tells us in His Holy Word, that the purpose of Jesus coming to earth was to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), put away sin (Hebrews 9:26), so that we might receive eternal life in the Kingdom of God.
ONCE for all
Jesus Christ laid down His life ONCE (Hebrews 9:28), sacrificed His body ONCE, offered His own body ONCE for all (Hebrews 10:10), one sacrifice for all sin for all people for all time ONCE.
A one time sacrifice was required by Christ Jesus to reconcile us to the Father, never to be repeated again. ONCE was enough. (Hebrews 9:25)
The work of Christ was completed on the cross, Jesus Christ said "It is finished", the work that He came to earth to do was completed once for all, one sacrifice, His own flesh was sacrificed on the cross - ONCE for all.
Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. Romans 6:9 |
God tells us in His word, that Christ Jesus died once for all, died once for all the sins of all the people of all the world, and dieth NO more.
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Hebrews 10:10-14 |
Jesus Christ of Nazareth died once and dieth no more.
One death of Jesus was enough to save everyone in the whole world.
Jesus Himself said that He will never die again, Jesus said, "I am alive for evermore".
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore.
Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Revelation 1:18
Why can't everyone see that Jesus is the Son of God, the Lord God and Saviour of the world?
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 |
Why can't everyone believe in the word of God, that Jesus is God, manifest in the flesh to live on earth, to be a living sacrifice for the sins of the world, so that everyone whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life?
The word of God says that the unbelievers of Christ, the lost of the world, cannot see the truth, because they are blinded by sin.
But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ. 2 Corinthians 3:14 |
When we are saved, which is by the grace of God through faith in God, the veil is taken away from our eyes and we can see the truth of God.
The knowledge of the truth of God is revealed to all of God's children.
God calls every person that is born to Him. It is our choice to answer the call of God and come to Him. God does not force Himself on anyone.
Through sin we separate ourselves from God. If we live in sin long enough, we cannot hear God calling to us. If we refuse God's call long enough, we will not hear His call anymore.
If we give place to the devil, he will come into our lives. If we give the devil control of our lives he will take it. The devil blinds the mind of them which do not believe.
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 2 Corinthians 4:4 |
Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. Ephesians 4:18-19 |
But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes. 1 John 2:11 |
Only Jesus Christ can remove the veil over the eyes that are blind and let them see the truth.
Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 2 Corinthians 3:16-17 |
The lost of the world must believe and ask Jesus to be the only Lord and Saviour of their lives in order to see the truth of God.
The unbelieving must turn to God and believe in God and must accept the free gift of salvation from the one and only God of the universe.
The carnal mind of a natural man cannot know God or see God.
For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them. Matthew 13:17 |
For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them. Luke 10:24 |
We are all given faith to see God and to know God, by the grace of God. It is up to us, to choose to have faith in God.
God is not a respecter of persons. God does not love certain people above, or more than others, God loves all the people that He has created the same. God has enough love for all the people of all the world.
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: Acts 10:34 |
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. Romans 12:3 |
We are all given the measure of faith by God, it is our choice to exercise our own faith and believe in His gift of salvation, in order to receive eternal life in the Kingdom of God, the gift of faith to receive life eternal, to spend eternity in Heaven with our eternal Lord God and King.
We are all given the gift of faith by God, enabling us all to believe in the name of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Enabling us to have faith and to accept and ask Jesus Christ into our hearts, and into our lives to be the Master over all of our lives and ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins, and accept His free gift of salvation.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:8 |
It is our choice alone, whether or not to accept God's gifts of love, of grace, of faith and of salvation. It is God's will that we ALL obtain salvation, but God has never and will never force Himself on anyone.
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 1 Thessalonians 5:9 |
We must all be born again through obtaining salvation, which is by the grace of Christ Jesus through faith in Christ Jesus, in order to see God.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3 |
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 |
Why must we go through Christ, why must we have faith in Christ to come to the Father?
God the Father sees no one except they come to Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
We are alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Eternal life is IN Christ Jesus. Jesus Christ is the door, we must pass through to come to God.
Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:11 |
Without going through Jesus Christ, we are dead in the eyes of God.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 |
The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36 |
The gate we must all go through to enter the Kingdom of God is Christ Jesus. There is NO other way to God, except through His Son, Jesus.
We receive salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, we receive every good gift from God through Jesus Christ.
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; Titus 3:5-6 |
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13:20-21 |
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15;57 |
We have peace with God and joy in God through Jesus Christ.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 |
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Romans 5:1 |
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. Romans 5:11 |
We are made worthy to God through Jesus Christ.
If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:11 |
We receive salvation and become heirs of the Kingdom of God through Christ Jesus.
Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. Galatians 4:7 |
We are able to do all things through Christ Jesus.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13 |
We can do nothing without Christ Jesus.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:5 |
God the Father calls Jesus His only begotten Son. God can only beget God. The Son of God can only be God.
When we are saved through faith in Jesus, we become the children of God (Galatians 3:26). We become the sons and daughters of God - the children of God - through faith in Jesus, but we are not begotten of God, we did not come forth from God as Jesus did (John 16:27-28).
We are the children of God through adoption. We are adopted children into the family of God. We are heirs to the throne of God through our kinship with the only begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ. Through Christ we are made heirs, adopted into the family of God (Galatians 4:4-7; Romans 8:14-17).
There is only one begotten of God, the Beloved Son of God, Jesus Christ (John 3:18).
There is only one God the Father and there is only one Son of God - and they are One. The word of God tells us that the Father and the Son are one (John 10:30). God the Father and Jesus Christ are not separate, they are one. The Father is God and the Son is God, they are one. God the Father and God the Son are eternally One.
Some people cannot grasp that when the Bible says Jesus Christ is the Son of God means that Jesus is God. They choose to believe the lies of man over the truth of God. (John 8:47) There is only one truth of God and it is not from man, it is truth from God Himself.
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 2 Thessalonians 2:8 |
The word of God makes it clear that no one comes to God the Father except through faith in His Son (John 14:6). Why? Because God saves, we are saved by faith in God alone. We are to have faith in God alone, we are to worship no other except the one true God, we are to trust and have faith in no other except the one true living God, we are to pray to no other except the one true living God.
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. Isaiah 45:22 |
Salvation is in God alone. God owns salvation, salvation belongs to God alone (Psalm 3:8), no one else owns or can give salvation but God Himself. Salvation is only received from God, through faith by grace ye are saved (Ephesians 2:5).
Salvation is the gift of God alone (Ephesians 2:8), by the grace of God through faith in God we are saved from sin and death. No one else - but God can give anyone eternal salvation. There is no other way to salvation except through faith in God. We become the children of God through faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Galatians 3:26).
No one can have faith in God the Father without faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. You cannot have faith in the Father without faith in the Son.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 |
The only way to the Father God is through faith in Christ Jesus, the Son. Faith in Jesus Christ reconciles us to God, no one comes to the Father God except through God the Son. Through faith in Christ Jesus we have access to God the Father. Jesus is the door everyone must go through to be with God the Father.
Jesus is the mediator between man and God. We are saved, receive the salvation of God through faith in God, God the Son, Jesus Christ. We have access to God only through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1-2).
We come to God the Father through faith in His Son, because that's the way God planned the salvation of mankind, because that is the love of God (1 John 4:9-10).
Many false teaches say that there are no scriptures stating Jesus is God, they are deceived (John 8:42-47). There are a multitude of scriptures throughout the word of God, stating that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, He is God the Son.
God the Father Himself said to Jesus, the Son, "Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever".
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Hebrews 1:8 |
The word of God was written by God, through chosen men of faith, to reveal to us who God is, so that we might have faith in God and believe that God is ALL who He says that He is.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6 |
Without faith in God, faith that God is all who He says He is, faith in all His word, it is impossible to please Him, to be reconciled to Him, to be saved by Him, and receive His gift of eternal life with Him for all eternity.
There are a multitude of scriptures, through the whole Word of God, Old Testament and New Testament, that confirms that Jesus Christ is God.
God the Son, Jesus Christ, is a foundational teaching of the Word of God. God sent Himself, in Christ Jesus, sent from Heaven down to this earth, in order to destroy sin and death and to make a way for us to be with Him for all eternity. This is love, this is the love of God, the love God wants to give to all people, all we must do is believe in Him that He did.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4:10 |
The only begotten Son of God could only be God, because you are that which you are begotten of.
Jesus is the Mighty God
The Old Testament prophesied the birth of Christ, and told us His name, Jesus the mighty God, Jesus God with us.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, the mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:7 |
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS. Matthew 1:23-25 |
Jesus the Great God
Jesus Christ the great God and our Saviour.
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Titus 2:13 |
The only wise God
Jesus Christ the only wise God.
Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Timothy 1:16-17 |
God alone is King of kings and Lord of lords
Jesus is Lord of lords and King of kings.

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Titus 2:13 |
God the Son
God the Father calls His Son, Jesus God.
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. Hebrews 1:8-9 |
God and His Father
Jesus Christ is God and His Father is God. The Son and the Father are One.
Amen. Revelation 1:6 |
Through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, we are made us kings and priests to God and his Father. Here the scriptures, the Holy Word of God, separates God the Son and God the Father.
There is only one God, who is both God the Son and God the Father. Jesus Christ and His Father are one God.
One God
Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers? Malachi 2:10 |
And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: Mark 12:32 |
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Romans 3:25 |

And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: John 17:22 |
And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou has given me, that they may be one, as we are. John 17:11 |
How can God be both, God the Father and God the Son? How can Jesus, the Son of God and God the Father be one God? The answer is because HE IS GOD. God is able to do ALL things. There is nothing too great for God to do.
Belief in God, faith in God is believing that God is ALL who He says that He is in His Word. No one can believe just parts of the Holy Word of God and be saved, you must believe all of the Word of God.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6 |

God my Saviour; Saviour Jesus Christ
God is our only Saviour. There is only one God who is the Saviour of the world. Only God alone can save anyone from sin and death. Jesus Christ alone is the Saviour of the world. Through faith in Jesus Christ our sins are removed, by the shedding of His blood, we are justified and through faith in Him we are saved from sin and death.
And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. Luke 1:47 |
And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world. John 4:42 |

I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. John 17:4,5 |
Jesus was God from the beginning of time
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Genesis 1:26 |
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. John 1:-3 |
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:10-12 |
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1 |
God was manifested in the flesh
God manifest in the flesh is Jesus, the Son of man, the Son of God, God the Son.
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Titus 3:16 |
But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: 2 Titus 1:10 |
And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 1 John 3:5 |
God forgives our sins

God, Lord Jesus receives my spirit
And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. Acts 7:59 |
When Stephen was stoned, He knew God and called upon His name, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit". When Stephen was killed, his spirit departed his earthly body and was present in that moment with his Lord and God, Christ Jesus.
We know through the Word of God, that when we die, the faithful are present with the Lord God in Heaven.
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8 |
We are all saved by God the exact same way, by the grace of God, by calling upon God, and saying "Lord Jesus forgive me of my sins and save me from sin and death, I believe in You, I surrender all my life to you, I want you to be the Master and Lord over all of my life forever, Amen". Without calling upon the name of God, Jesus Christ, without surrendering all your life to Christ Jesus as Lord and Master over all of your life, without asking Jesus to forgive you of your sins and turning away from sin, no one is saved, no one can receive salvation without calling on the name of God, Jesus Christ.
But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. John 20:31 |
We are all saved the exact same way, by the grace of God through faith in God. By the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ through faith in Jesus, the Saviour of our souls.
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:10-12 |

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Matthew 28:18 |
Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. 1 Chronicles 29:11-12 |
God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God. Psalm 62:11 |

Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. John 10:7,11,14-15,17,18 |
