And there was a cloud that overshadowed them:
and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.
And suddenly, when they had looked round about,
they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves.
Mark 9:7-8 And we know that the Son of God is come,
and hath given us an understanding,
that we may know him that is true,
and we are in him that is true,
even in his Son Jesus Christ.
This is the true God, and eternal life.
1 John 5:20 |
Please Note: The Scriptures tell us
that there is not enough room in the whole universe to hold all books it would
take to tell all about the life, the miracles, the wonder of Jesus.
No website can contain all of the wonder of Jesus, the work of
Jesus, the miracles of Jesus. We answer questions in this website to
ignite a fire in your own spirit to dig deeper in God's word, to encounter Jesus
personally,
to establish and grow a relationship with Jesus yourself by knowing more.
It
is the purpose of this website to point everyone to Jesus, direct them to seek
Jesus, encourage others to know Jesus, and to ultimately have a lasting saving
relationship with the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the risen Christ, the
Son of God - Christ Jesus our LORD.
Jesus Christ the same yesterday,
and to day, and for ever.
Hebrews 13:8 |
The existence of Jesus
has been documented in the Holy Scriptures as well as in secular research books.
No one has ever disproven the existence of Jesus.
Jesus exists whether
you are I believe in Him or not. Jesus does not require our knowledge of
Him to exists.
Halleluiah !!
Jesus exists.
Yes, Jesus Christ
lives today and alive for evermore !!
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive
for evermore.
Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Revelation 1:18 |
Jesus is before all things
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath
translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth,
visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities,
or powers:
all things were created by him, and for him:
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Colossians 1:13-17 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me,
be
with me where I am; that they may behold my glory,
which thou hast given me:
for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
John 17:24 |
Jesus existed before Abraham
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you,
Before Abraham was, I am.
John 8:58 |
All things were created by Jesus
For by him were all things created, that are in
heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible,
whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all
things were created by him, and for him:
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Colossians 1:16 |
By Christ Jesus all things exist.
We know through the Holy Scriptures that Jesus was before the world was (John 17:5); Jesus was sent from God
in Heaven (John 7:16); Jesus came down from God the Father in
Heaven; Jesus came to earth from above (John 8:23); Jesus
cometh from Heaven (John 3:31); Jesus descended to earth
(Ephesians 4:7-10); Jesus came out from God (John 16:27); Jesus
came from God the Father and returned to God the Father
(John 16:28); Jesus came down from Heaven and returned to Heaven
(John 13:3, 16:28);
Jesus is eternal. Jesus has always existed. Jesus
has always been with God the Father, because Jesus and the Father are one
(John 10:30; 1 John 1:2).
Because Jesus was with the Father, He was able to come
forth out from the Father above.
Jesus came from Heaven above
Jesus said, "I am from above".
And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from
above:
ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
John 8:23 |
Jesus was before the world
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with
the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
John 17:5 |
Jesus is above all
He that cometh from above is above all:
he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth:
he that cometh from heaven is above all.
John 3:31 |
Jesus existed before the earth began
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with
the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
John 17:5 |
Jesus descended out from God from Heaven
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the
measure of the gift of Christ.
Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and
gave gifts unto men.
(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the
lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all
heavens, that he might fill all things.)
Ephesians 4:7-10 |
Jesus descended from the Kingdom of Heaven to the earth, to
become the Son of man.
Jesus came out from God
Jesus Himself told us that He came out from God, only
God can come out from God.
For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved
me,
and have believed that I came out from God.
John 16:27 |
Jesus came from God
The word of God tells us all that, Jesus came from God AND
went to God; Jesus proceeded forth from God.
The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him,
Rabbi,
we know that thou art a teacher come from God:
for no man can do
these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
John 3:2 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things
into his hands,
and that he was come from God, and went to God;
John 13:3 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye
would love me:
for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of
myself, but he sent me.
John 8:42 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world:
again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
John 16:28 |
Jesus came down from Heaven
And no man hath ascended up to heaven,
but he that came
down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
John 3:13 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven,
and giveth life unto the world.
John 6:33 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own
will, but the will of him that sent me.
John 6:38 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the
bread which came down from heaven.
John 6:41 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose
father and mother we know?
how is it then that he saith, I came down from
heaven?
Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will
raise him up at the last day.
It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God.
Every man
therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the
Father.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
I am that bread of life.
John 6:42-48 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven,
that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
John 6:50 I am the living bread which came down from heaven:
if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will
give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
John 6:51 This is that bread which came down from heaven:
not
as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead:
he that eateth of this bread shall
live for ever.
John 6:58 |
Jesus is the Perfect Gift from God above to all mankind, that
came down from Heaven above, from the Father of Lights.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,
and cometh down from the Father of lights,
with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
James 1:17 |
The Lord from Heaven
The first man is of the earth, earthy:
the second man is
the Lord from heaven.
1 Corinthians 15:47 |
God manifest in the flesh
The bodily form of God in the flesh is Jesus
Christ of Nazareth. The fulness of the Godhead bodily is Christ
Jesus the Lord.
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord,
so walk ye in him: For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
Colossians 2:6,9 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels,
preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
1 Timothy 3:16 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins;
and in him is no sin.
1 John 3:5 |
God manifest Himself the flesh as Jesus Christ, conceived by the Holy
Spirit in the womb of a virgin; He is Holy God, perfect and without sin.
God gifted us with Himself in a physical form like that
of mankind, as Jesus Christ.
The Son of God and the God the Father are one. The Son
of God has always been one with the Father.
Why did God chose to manifest Himself in flesh like
ours? Because He loves us, because He
promised eternal life to all who believe in Him, because this was His perfect
plan of redemption for mankind, and because this was His perfect will.
God was manifest in the flesh, but this did not limit God.
God was and has always been God, and will be God for all eternity.
In order to believe in Jesus, I must believe all that was said
in the Holy Scriptures about Him. Partial faith is unbelief.
Belief in God is believing in all that He says that He
is (Hebrews 11:6).
He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the
earth is earthly,
and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.
John 3:31 |
Believing the truth of God, that Jesus came out from God
above, Jesus came down from Heaven to earth, establishes who Jesus is and
who Jesus is not.
The Scriptures are clear, that without believing on the Son,
Jesus Christ, you will not see God, and you cannot receive everlasting life,
because eternal life is given only to those who believe on the Son for
their salvation.
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life:
and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God
abideth on him.
John 3:36 |
Jesus is the only one who has descended from Heaven and
ascended back again to Heaven (Ephesians 4:10).
The same Saviour of the world, the Lord who came down out of
Heaven, who descended from Heaven, and who ascended back up into Heaven, will
come again one day soon, and only those who believe on Him will see Him, and be
resurrected to new life with Him for eternity.
Jesus is on the right hand side of God the Father in Heaven,
waiting to return back to earth to claim His own. Jesus is our mediator
and advocate.
Jesus abides in the hearts of all true believers.
Shortly after Jesus Christ offered Himself (Hebrews
9:14), once for all (Hebrews 10:10), as a sacrifice for the sins of
the world (1 John 2:2), Jesus freely laid down His life for us (1
John 3:16), Jesus shed His blood so we could receive remission and
forgiveness of our sins (Ephesians 1:7), Jesus died on the cross
(Philippians 2:8), Jesus destroyed the works of the devil on the cross (1
John 3:8), Jesus finished His work (John 19:30), Jesus raised Himself from death and the
grave (Acts 13:30), so by believing in Jesus we might receive everlasting
life (John 3:16), Jesus ascended to Heaven and now reigns forever more; and,
Jesus
sits on the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2),
Jesus is in the presence of God in Heaven (Hebrews 9:24).
Jesus Christ is in Heaven
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came
down from heaven,
even the Son of man which is in heaven.
John 3:13 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the
measure of the gift of Christ.
Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity
captive, and gave gifts unto men.
(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into
the lower parts of the earth?
He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens,
that he might fill all things.)
Ephesians 4:7-10 |
Jesus sits on the right hand of God the Father in Heaven
After Christ Jesus purged our sins by shedding His blood on
the cross, when He was crucified on the cross, He said "It is finished" bowed
His head and gave up the ghost (John 19:30), then Jesus sat down on the right
hand of the Majesty on High, with God the Father in Heaven.
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express
image of his person,
and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the
Majesty on high;
Hebrews 1:3 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which
are above,
where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Colossians 3:1 |
Jesus is in the presence of God in Heaven for US
Christ Jesus is in the presence of God in Heaven for us,
for our reconciliation to God.
For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with
hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
Hebrews 9:24 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to
himself by Jesus Christ,
and hath given to us the ministry of
reconciliation;
2 Corinthians 5:18 |
Jesus is the advocate between man and God the Father
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye
sin not.
And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the
righteous:
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the
sins of the whole world.
1 John 2:1-2 |
God is self-existent. God was NOT created.
God has no creator. God has no mother.
God was before all things.
God created all thing, but no one or nothing created God. God existed
before all things.
In the beginning God... (Genesis 1:1). God did NOT create God,
God was.
Jesus Christ was NOT created, the Son of God was manifested,
God was manifest in the flesh to destroy the works of the devil (1
Timothy 3:16).
God sent His Son to earth to sacrifice
His perfect sinless life for the salvation of mankind.
The miracle of the birth of Jesus in human form
was by the Power of God alone. God is able to do all things (Matthew
19:26; Mark 10;27), even manifest Himself in the flesh (1
Timothy 3:16).
The Holy Spirit conceived baby Jesus (Matthew 1:20)
inside the host womb of a virgin named Mary (Luke 2:21). Jesus
existed before Mary. Jesus existed
before He was manifested in the flesh (Colossians 1:16-17).
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil
sinneth from the beginning.
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the
works of the devil.
1 John 3:8 And without controversy great is
the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received
up into glory.
1 Timothy 3:16 |
By the power of God, Jesus was able to be manifested in the
flesh, born from a woman, so that Jesus could take on flesh and humanity, for the
sole purpose to save all mankind from sin and death.
The word of God states that Jesus was manifest in the flesh,
NOT created.
Jesus came forth from God, out from God, Jesus is
from
God sent from
Heaven above.
And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from
above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
John 8:23 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye
would love me:
for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he
sent me.
John 8:42 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved
me, and have believed that I came out from God. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave
the world, and go to the Father.
John 16:27-28 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me;
and they have received them,
and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have
believed that thou didst send me.
John 17:8 |
Jesus came from Heaven above to earth below.
Jesus was sent to earth to be the Saviour of the world.
For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will,
but the will of him that sent me.
And this is the Father's will which hath sent me,
that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up
again at the last day.
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the
Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the
last day.
John 6:38-40 He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that
receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
Matthew 10:40 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word,
and believeth on him that sent me,
hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from
death unto life.
John 5:24 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works
which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do,
bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.
And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye
have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye
believe not.
John 5:36-38 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent
me draw him:
and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6:44 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the
Father:
so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
John 6:57 |
Jesus was before Abraham, Jesus was before the
foundation of the world, Jesus has always been of God, in God and with God.
Jesus was NOT created.
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you,
Before Abraham was, I am.
John 8:58 |
Jesus is the only begotten of the Father, Jesus Christ is the Word.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
(and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth.
For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
John 1:14,17 |
The Word is God.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was
made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
John 1:1-4 |
Jesus came down from Heaven, Jesus was fashioned like man,
conceived by the Holy Ghost inside the womb of a virgin, born as a man in the
flesh. This is the miracle and mystery of God, to bring God into this
world as man, in the flesh to take on life as man, to preach the gospel of
salvation to the world, to take on the sins of the whole world, shed His blood
on the cross as the final sacrifice, once for all, for all the sins of all the
people on this earth, to be crucified on the cross in order to reconcile us to
God, to die and be buried in a tomb, to raise up from death and the grave to
resurrection of new life, ascend into Heaven, to prepare a place for us, and to
come back to earth one day for all His own.
And God said, Let us make man in our image,
after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and
over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over
every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male
and female created he them.
And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the
evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Genesis 1:26-27 |
God said, Let us make man in our image.
God created man in His own image. In the image of God created He them,
male and female.
The will of God is for us to obtain salvation through faith in
Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:9). The will of Jesus is for us all to be
one, as He and His Father are one, as the Father is in the Son, and as the Son
is in the Father, that we may be one in Them, that we may be one, even as They
are one.
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I
in thee, that they also may be one in us:
that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one,
even as we are one:
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one;
and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou
hast loved me.
John 17:21-23 |
God has always been. God has always existed. God
has existed as these three (1 John 5:7): Father, Son (the Word), and Holy Ghost.
We are baptized in the name of God, in the name of them
who created us, in the name of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy
Ghost. We profess our salvation to the world through water baptism, in the
name of God who saved us from sin and death, in the names of God who gives us
eternal life.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in
the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Matthew 28:19 |
We see in the first verse of the Word of God, that "In the
beginning God...". (Genesis 1:1). God existed before all things.
There has not been a time when God has not existed. This is the
foundation, the fundamental knowledge of God, to believe that He is ALL that He
says that He is.
But without faith it is impossible to please him:
for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,
and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6 |
God alone holds all power, there is only one God Almighty,
there is only one God, one Lord God who hold power over heaven and earth, the
Godhead is in the fullness of Christ Jesus, the Son of God AND the fulness of God
is in the Father AND the fulness of God is in the Holy Ghost, each having their
separate functions, AND function completely, fully together as ONE GOD.
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father,
the Word, and the Holy Ghost:
and these three are one.
1 John 5:7 |
How simple, God explains Himself! God tells us
there are three, three that bear record in Heaven of God,
and these three are one God.
NO other three in
the word of God are one, just these three are ONE GOD - the Father, the
Word (the Son), and the Holy Ghost.
There is no doubt that Jesus is the Word, because God
tells us in His scriptures that the Word is the only begotten of the Father,
His Beloved, Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The scriptures tell us all that
the Word was God from the very beginning.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God.
John 1:1 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth.
John 1:14 |
There is only one begotten Son of God the Father, Jesus Christ
our Lord.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten
Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 In this was manifested the love of God toward us,
because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live
through him.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to
be the propitiation for our sins.
1 John 4:9-10 |
God alone gives eternal life to people.
No one else but God can give eternal life to anyone.
Everlasting life is given by God alone. No one else has
the power to give life except God. Salvation is the gift of God, given
freely by God to all people who by faith believe in Jesus Christ as their
salvation. Without believing in Jesus for eternal life, no one can receive
eternal life, because life is in God the Son, Jesus Christ.
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the
Son of God hath not life.
1 John 5:12 All things were made by him; and without him was not any
thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
John 1:3-4 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the
world knew him not.
He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
even to them that believe on his name:
John 1:10-12 |
God gave His life for all people, Jesus Christ died,
shed His blood on a cross and rose from the grave to life, so that we all might
be saved from sin and death, and through believing in Him might receive
everlasting life in His Kingdom.
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down
his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
1 John 3:16 |
There is NOT eternal life in any other, only Jesus Christ, the
Son of God. Eternal life is not found in any other way, or through any
person here on earth, or purchased by any means, or gained through any works we
might do, believing in Jesus Christ is the only way to
eternal life in the Kingdom of God.
God created Adam, the first man from God.
Jesus was begotten of God, conceived by the Holy
Ghost, fashioned as man, came out from God, not created.
The word of God tells us all that Jesus existed before our
world began. He was before the foundations of this earth.
God was manifest in the flesh, fashioned as man to save the world from sin and death
(1 John 3:8), God manifested Himself
in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16), in the likeness of man, fashioned in the image of man
(Philippians 2:8), through the entrance
into the human race through the vessel of a woman, in order to have the
appearance of a human man.
No man, no human being could destroy sin and death, only God
can destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8).
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil
sinneth from the beginning.
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that
he might destroy the works of the devil.
1 John 3:8 |
The earthly body of Jesus was God
manifested in the flesh, not created.
Jesus always existed. Jesus has always been God.
In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:1 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
(and we beheld his glory,
the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth.
John 1:14 |
The scriptures tell us all that the Word was God, from
the very beginning of all time. AND the word was made flesh.
The Word is God AND the Word was made flesh.
God manifested Himself in the image of man, just for us, for the human race, so
that we could be saved from sin and death and through faith in the manifestation
of God, which is the Son of God, Jesus Christ, receive everlasting life.
Incarnation is the union of divinity with
humanity in Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16). God
in the flesh was necessary and the will of God.
God was manifest in the flesh, not the other way
around, flesh was NOT manifested into God (1 Timothy 3:16).
God purposed that Jesus, His only begotten Son, would take
on the form of humanity (Hebrews 2:14), manifested in human flesh, for our
sakes, so that mankind could be reconciled to God the Father through His Son,
and so that mankind might be saved through faith in God the Son.
The baby Jesus did NOT grow up to be God, He was
already God. God put on humanity (Hebrews 2:14), as the Son of man,
Jesus in the flesh, so that He as the Christ could die for the sins of the
world, and so that mankind might be saved (John 3:17).
For God so loved the world, that He sent
His only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 |
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received
up into glory.
1 Timothy 3:16 |
Why was it necessary for God to manifest Himself in the
flesh as Jesus? Why did Jesus need to come to earth in human form?
God took on the nature of man, not angels, so that He
Himself would suffer as a human being, so He is able to succour (help) them that
are tempted, because He Himself was tempted as a human being.
God was fashioned as man, manifest in the flesh as the Son
of man, so that He could sacrifice
Himself for the sins of all the people of all the world, so that He could
sacrifice His life so that we might live.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil
sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested,
that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1 John 3:8 |
It was necessary for God to manifest Himself in the flesh
as mankind, so that He could take part in human suffering and be a worthy
sacrifice for the sins of this world.
It was necessary for God to manifest Himself in the flesh
as Jesus, so that He could die on the cross for the sins of the world, that
through His death on the cross He could destroy death, and destroy the works of
the devil, and resurrect Himself from death and the grave so that we might
receive eternal life in the Kingdom of God for eternity.
God was manifested in the flesh so that He also
Himself could take part of flesh and blood as we are, and that through
His death He could destroy the devil.
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and
blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same;
that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is,
the devil;
Hebrews 2:14 |
God was manifest in the flesh, fashioned as a
man, so that He could show the mercy and love of God, being
obedient to death, taking on the sins of all the people of all the world,
even the horrific death of the cross, so that we might live.
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled
himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Philippians 2:8 |
It was necessary for God to manifest Himself in the flesh, and
not as an angel, so that fashioned as a man, He could walk among us here on earth,
as a human being.
For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he
took on him the seed of Abraham.
Hebrews 2:16 |
It was necessary for God to manifest Himself in the flesh as
Jesus, taking on the seed of Abraham, in order to be like us, so that He could be
an example to us in the things pertaining to God, show us the way to God through
Himself, and to make reconciliation for the sins of all the people of all the
world who might believe on Him as Lord and Saviour.
It was necessary for God to manifest Himself in the form of
human beings, fashioned like man, in order to make reconciliation for the
sins of all the people of this world.
Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto
his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to
God,
to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
Hebrews 2:17 |
It was necessary for God to manifest Himself in the flesh as
Jesus, so that He could suffer like us being tempted, but not yielding to the
temptation, knowing firsthand the problems of man, so that He is able to help
us, when we are tempted.
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is
able to succour them that are tempted.
Hebrews 2:18 |
It was necessary for God to manifest Himself in the flesh as
Jesus, in order to take on the appearance of man, to take the image of
man, to be like man, and ultimately offer Himself as the sacrifice for the sins
of the world.
God was manifested in the flesh as Jesus, in order to be
like us, so we could understand God. In order to suffer and
be tempted like man, like us, and to help us when we are tempted.
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh
and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same;
that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is,
the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to
bondage.
For verily he took not on him the nature of angels;
but
he took on him the seed of Abraham.
Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren,
that he might be a merciful and faithful
high priest in things pertaining
to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to
succour them that are tempted.
Hebrews 2:14-18 |
God was manifest in the flesh as Jesus to abolish
sin and death and
bring life and immortality to all who will believe in Him for their
salvation.
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
seen of angels,
preached unto the Gentiles,
believed on in the world, received up into glory.
1 Timothy 3:16 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour
Jesus Christ,
who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and
immortality to light through the gospel:
2 Timothy 1:10 |
Why was God manifested in the flesh as Jesus?
To make a way - a path - for us to God. To save us from death, to take away our sins, even though Jesus had no
sin in Him.
And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins;
and in him is no sin.
1 John 3:5 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin;
that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
2 Corinthians 5:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his
name JESUS:
for he shall save his people from their sins.
Matthew 1:21 |
God was manifest in the flesh, the Son of God was manifested to destroy sin and the
works of the devil.
He that committeth sin is of the devil;
for the devil
sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested,
that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1 John 3:8 |
Jesus suffered for our sins to bring us to God.
Jesus came from Heaven above, down to the lower parts of this world, so that HE
might bring us to God.
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins,
the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God,
being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
1 Peter 3:18 |
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the love of God manifested
toward us. Jesus Christ is God's own personal
love gift to us, that we through Jesus we might live.
God gifted us with His only begotten Son, so that we might live
through Him.
In this was manifested the love of God toward us,
because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world,
that we might live
through him.
1 John 4:9 |
The perfect plan of God
The perfect plan of God was to manifest Himself in the flesh
of mankind.
By coming to earth to share in the flesh and blood struggles
of humanity. God placed Himself on this earth in human form to become a
living sacrifice for all mankind, to purge our sins with His blood, the only
sacrifice sufficient to save all mankind.
Jesus was born into this world as a man child to:
- Bring glory to God the Father
- Fulfill prophesy in the written Word of God
- To be a propitiation for the sins of all mankind
(1 John 2:2, 4:10)
- To shed His blood on His cross at Calvary for the
remission and forgiveness of all sins (Romans 3:25)
- To take away our sins forever
- To free us from the bondage of sin and death
- Make a way for mankind by faith in Jesus' blood to God
- Make a way for mankind to receive eternal life
- Heal the sick and give comfort and hope to a lost
world
- Show us the way to the Father
- Become a mediator between God the Father and mankind
Bring Glory to God the Father
All things are to be done to the Glory of God (1 Corinthians
10:31).
And that every tongue should
confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:11 |
Fulfill the Word of God
The word of God stated in the Old Testament that a child would
be born, from the line of David, the Son of Abraham.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and
the government shall be upon his shoulder:
and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The
everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6 |
God promises us in His word that ALL His word
will be fulfilled.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from
the law, till all be fulfilled.
Matthew 5:18 |
Propitiation for our sins
Whom God hath set forth to be a
propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his
righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the
forbearance of God;
Romans 3:25 And he is the propitiation for
our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the
whole world.
1 John 2:2 Herein is love, not that we loved
God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the
propitiation for our sins.
1 John 4:10 |
Shed His blood for the remission of our sins
For this is my blood of the new
testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Matthew 26:28 |
To take away all sins once for all
By the which will we are
sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for
all.
Hebrews 10:10 |
Give victory over sin and death
But thanks be to God, which giveth
us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:57 For the law of the Spirit of life
in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Romans 8:2 |
Make a way for us to God
For if, when we were enemies, we
were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being
reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Romans 5:10 |
Give mankind eternal life
As thou hast given him power over
all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast
given him.
John 17:2 |
Heal the sick and give comfort and hope to a lost world
For God sent not his Son into the
world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be
saved.
John 3:17 |
Show us the way to God the Father
For Christ also hath once suffered
for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God,
being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
1 Peter 3:18 |
Make Himself the mediator between God the Father and mankind
For there is one God, and one
mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
1 Timothy 2:5 |
Jesus made a way out of sin and death for all
mankind. Without Jesus we would all be separated from God for all
eternity.
God is omniscient - He knows all things.
God knew that for mankind to believe in Him that we must see Him, so God sent
Himself to earth to become God in the flesh - Jesus the Son of God and
the Son of man. God's glorious plan was to make a way for mankind to
be reconciled to Himself.
We, man, would, nor ever could, be the perfect
sacrifice for all the sin of all of mankind - but God could.
God alone, only God Himself could be the perfect sacrifice for all the sin of all the
people of all the world. So God in His infinite wisdom and power made a
way for us - mankind - to escape sin and death - by the death of His only
begotten Son - Jesus the Christ, Jesus the Savior of the world, the Lord of
Lords, the King of kings, the mighty God, the Prince of peace, the King of all
glory.
The
perfect will of God is for all people to come to salvation through Christ
Jesus.
That whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but
have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into
the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might
be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but
he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not
believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God. John
