This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 |
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 2 Peter 3:3-4 |

What is the New Jerusalem?
How can I survive in the last days?
Before we begin this Bible study, I would like to say something that is often missed by those who study about the Last Days, which is that God gave us this knowledge of the end days, the last days, to COMFORT US, not distress us or to worry us.
We are to comfort one another with God's words.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:18 |
I think this is an important teaching that is being overlooked when we delve deep into the events of the Last Days.
So please remember this teaching, like all the Word of God, was given to us by God for our comfort, so that God may comfort us with His words, and by His Words we may comfort others.
And as with all Bible studies, we must enter into it with prayer, asking God to open our eyes and our hearts and our minds to His truth and ask to receive God's revelation and God's understanding and wisdom through His Word.
The last days we are referring to in this study is the last days before, during, and after the return of Christ Jesus to earth.
God has a perfect plan from start to finish.
The beginning and the end of mankind and this world, as we know it, is carefully explained by God in His word.
The word of God is the revelation of God Himself to mankind, and His plan for all His creation from beginning to end, and eternity.
God tells of creating this world, our entire universe, everything, every creature, all things, and mankind, beginning in His book of Genesis.
God tells us the future of this world He created, and the future of all mankind, and His judgment of mankind, and the end of this world, in His Word.
The creation and the end of mankind is revealed by God throughout His Holy word, in the Old and New Testaments.
The last days are defined in great detail throughout the word of God, not just in Revelation.
What is key to remember in studying God's word, is that God does NOT measure time like we do. In fact, the Scriptures say that one day with the Lord is as a 1,000 years, and a 1,000 years as one day (2 Peter 3:8).
Therefore, what we human beings consider a long time, is not a long time with God. A good example is our lifespan. Human beings live to be 100 years old today, if we are blessed. Most people die in their eighties or nineties, many before then. Gods says that our lifespan, although it seems long to us, our life is but a vapor, we are here one second and gone the next (James 4:14).
God knows the end from the beginning.
In order to understand the last days, we must understand God knows all things, and God sees the end at the beginning. All things are already with God. Nothing happens outside of the perfect will of God. God has always been in control and will always be in control of all things.
The last days are past, present, and future events. Many "last days" events have already occurred, many are occurring now, and many are yet to come.
There are many events that occur during "the last days", past, present, and future:
- The last days began with the first day of creation. God had already saw the end of the world and the judgment of all mankind, the first day all was created. God knows the end of all things from the beginning. There is nothing that God does not know. God is all knowing. In the beginning God..(Genesis 1:1). In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1).
- The last days were established with God being manifest in the flesh and coming to earth as the Christ child Jesus (1 Timothy 3:16; John 3:13, 6:38, 51, 58). God said that He in these last days spoke to us by His Son (Hebrews 1:1-8).
- The last days will continue with the unexpected return of Jesus Christ, descending from Heaven, coming in the clouds to claim His own. All who believe in Christ Jesus to salvation will be "caught up" together with Him in the clouds, along with the resurrected saints, in the air to ever be with the Lord (1 Thessalonians 14-18).
- The last days will continue with the Tribulation, the Great Tribulation and the appearance and attempted world rule by the Antichrist.
- The last days continue with the expected return of Christ Jesus to earth, to end the Great Tribulation and begin the Millennium.
- The last days will continue with the Millennium, when Christ Jesus will establish His kingdom on earth and reign with His saints on this earth for a 1,000 years.
- The last days will continue with the Great White Throne of Judgment. With all God's enemies being put into the lake of fire for eternity.
- The last days will end with God creating a new Heaven and a new earth, a Heavenly Jerusalem where the Lord God Almighty will reign forever with all people who are written in the Lamb's book of life, and so shall we ever be with the Lord our God.
We can all see by reading the word of God (and in the Scriptures at the top of this page) that the last days have already begun.
Everyday we are closer than ever before in seeing the Lord face to face!!!
THE LAST DAYS ARE NOW!
Are you ready? God says you must be born again, receive His salvation to enter into His Heavenly world.
We can see in the Scriptures that there are many "last days" listed throughout the word of God.
The last days we are speaking about in this study is the last days before, during, and after the return of Christ Jesus to earth.
God tells us throughout His word that the day of the Lord is at hand, meaning it is now.
We are living in the last days. The descending of the Lord from Heaven could be this year, tomorrow, even today. Are you ready?
We must be ready to meet our Lord God today in the air, we must be watching, waiting, and praying.
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Mark 1:15 |
The time is fulfilled, nothing else must happen or be fulfilled before the return of the Lord can occur.
All is fulfilled that must be fulfilled, the Kingdom of God is at hand, is now - repent and believe the gospel
But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. 1 Peter 4:7 |
All believers should know about the last day, read the Word of God, hear the words of God, keep the Word of God, because the time is at hand, it's now, the return of the Lord God is promised and certain to happen any day.
Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. Revelation 1:3 |
We are not to think for one moment, that the Lord could not return today, this hour, this minute.
All believer's of Christ Jesus are to be watching, praying, and waiting for Christ's expedite return.
The word of God gives reference and a list of last days events that will occur in His Holy Word.
Do you know what will happen in the last days? As believers of God, we should all know what will happen in the last days.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:18 |
Know this first, that God did not give us His Word regarding the last days to frighten us and to worry us, not at all, God gave us the details of these last days to comfort us, and so that we may comfort one another with these words from God.
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Romans 15:4 |
The Word of God was given to us for our learning, so that we might have hope.
God warns us all not to be caught unawares (Luke 21:34).
We should always be watching and praying for the return of Christ Jesus (Luke 21:36).
God says in the last days that He will pour out His Holy Spirit on all flesh.
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: Acts 2:17 |
God says that in the last days perilous times will come, people will love themselves more than God, people will be covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful to God, unholy, without love, without natural affection, lawbreakers, liars, traitors, puffed up, high-minded, lovers of sinful pleasures more than lovers of God, worshippers of men instead of worshippers of God, outwardly godly but inwardly evil, forsaking God, denying the power of God, completely turning away from God and all righteousness, and outwardly mocking God and His word.
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
There are people like this today, in these last days.
Salvation
Know God by receiving His free gift of salvation through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ the Lord.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 |
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:9,13 |
There is no other way to God the Father, except through faith in Christ Jesus to salvation (John 14:6; Galatians 3:26).
You must be saved to see the LORD God.
Study God's Word
The best way to prepare for these last days is to know God and know God's word.
We know God through accepting His Son, we know God's word by reading and mediating, guided by the help of the Holy Spirit.
Knowledge, wisdom and understanding come from God alone. We come to the knowledge of God through God. Only God gives knowledge of God.
Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. Revelation 1:3 |
We must pray and ask God to guide us through His word, to open the eyes of our heart, to see the Scripture through His eyes, not ours. We must surrender ourselves to Christ, deny self and give ourselves over to the knowledge and truth of God in Christ.
Read the Word of God, hear the word of God, for the time is now.
We must diligently seek God, study and meditate in His word, and pray, to be prepared for what is to come. We must ask God for wisdom and understanding to do His will above all else.
Do you know what will happen throughout the last days? Who will escape the perilous times of the Great Tribulation? What will the Antichrist be able to do? Who will be left, and who will be "caught up" with the Lord in the air? Do you know how to escape the wrath of God?
All the answers to these questions and more you may have, can be found in the word of God.
Ask God to open your eyes to His truth, ask the Lord to reveal Himself to you. God promises that if we diligently seek Him, that we will find Him (Matthew 7:7; Hebrews 11:6). He is waiting on you to ask for His help in your life (Hebrews 4:16; Isaiah 41:13, 50:7).
Be ready
We not only must be ready by knowing God and knowing God's word, but we must be spiritually ready to meet God.
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Matthew 24:44 |
We are warned by the word of God to be ready, because no one knows the time Jesus will come for His own (Luke 12:40).
Are you ready to meet the Lord today? Are you prepared? Have you received the salvation of God through faith in Christ Jesus?
How can we be ready? Through faith in Christ Jesus to salvation (1 Peter 1:5), through a good conscience by sanctifying God in our hearts (1 Peter 3:15-16). holding onto the faith with is in Christ Jesus, the testimony of Christ, that we are behind in no gift waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 1:5-7).
Watch
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Matthew 25:13 |
God warns us all not to be caught unawares (Luke 21:34). We are to watch for the return of the Lord Jesus (Mark 13:35, 37).
What will you be doing when the Lord returns? What will the Lord see you doing when He returns?
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. Luke 21:34 |
We should always be watching and praying for the return of Christ Jesus (Luke 21:36). Believers in Christ are of the day.
But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 1 Thessalonians 5:8 |
The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. Romans 13:12-14 |
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:36 |
What will the Lord see you doing when He returns? Will the Lord find you watching for His return?
But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. 1 Peter 4:7 |
Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Revelation 3:3 |
Will you be spiritually ready to go when the Lord returns?
Pray
And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Luke 11:2 |
Do you pray for the Lord to come? Thy Kingdom Come should be at the top of our prayer lists everyday.
We are instructed to pray without ceasing, and one of our prayers everyday, should be the believer's anthem "Come, Lord Jesus".
One of the last verses in the word of God is "Come, Lord Jesus" (Revelation 22:20).
Wait
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Psalm 27:14 |
Last but not least, regarding preparing for the last days, is our most favorite thing of all, waiting.
It may be true everyone hates to wait, but we are not everyone, and we are not waiting on just anything. We are waiting for our Lord God to return for us to take us home with Him, to take us to His Father's house, to ever be with the Lord!! We must wait on the Lord.
And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. 1 Thessalonians 1:10 |
God the Father has all the events of the last days perfectly planned to the finest, perfect detail.
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. James 5:7-8 |
We are to wait on the Lord's perfect timing.
And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ. 2 Thessalonians 3:5 |
Nothing, that we as human beings can do, can override the plans of God Almighty. No one is greater than God, God has complete control over the outcome of His own children, and complete control over all things.
The Lord God omnipotent reigns (Revelation 19:6).
Here, we will look at the events of the Last Days as recorded in the Word of God.
(These are not in anyway all the last days events or everything that will happen, because only God knows everything and only God holds the future in His hands).
The last days began with the first day of creation. God made everything beautiful in His time. Remember, God's ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). God is omnipotent, all powerful, and had already seen the end of world on the first day it was created.
The foundation of the earth was the end of the earth. The beginning was with the end, and the end was with the beginning, that which was is, and has already been. God created the beginning with the end. Everything is one with God, there is no separation for time. Time was not established for God, God does not need time to exist, God created time for man alone.
"No man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end", so don't try to understand it, just accept God's word and God's plan, because God's ways are past finding out (Romans 11:33).
Remember, time was created for man, God has no need of time, He is eternity, the only immortal. God has no beginning and no end, He is solely unique, solely immortal, and solely eternal, the one true living God Almighty.
Man is not eternal, we have a beginning, we can receive eternal life through faith in Christ Jesus. Believers in Christ will pass from death to life, we receive eternal life, we receive immortality through faith in Christ Jesus, but this immortality does not change the fact that we were once mortal, we are not eternal, but we receive eternal life through Christ.
He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.
That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past. Ecclesiastes 3:11-15 |
That which has been is now; and that which is to be has already been; and God requires that which is past. The past is now, the future has already been, and God requires all.
The grace of God was given to us in Christ Jesus before the world began (2 Timothy 1:9). How can we be given Christ before we were even born? Because God knew of us before we were born, that which hath been is now. God knew all of us, each and every single person born, God knew each of us, and loved us, before we were even born, and that which is to be hath already been. God is all knowing. God knows each person ever born.
Everything God created has already been, is now, and is to be in the future. All has been, all is now and all is to be. God requires all, that is past, present, and future.
The last days were established with God being manifest in the flesh and coming to earth as the Christ child Jesus (1 Timothy 3:16; John 3:13, 6:38, 51, 58). God said that He in these last days spoke to us by His Son (Hebrews 1:1-8). God calls the days His Son spoke on the earth as the last days, which were over 2,000 years ago.
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Hebrews 1:1-8 |
The Holy Scriptures, the Word of God, the revelation of God is given to all people of all the world.
The Word of God affects everyone, every person, every nationality, every country, every tribe, every group of people in this whole world. No one is exempt from the word of God. God's word is for all humankind, male and female, adult and child.
The events of the last days affect everyone in the world.
- Jesus warns us NOT to be deceived by anyone in these last days (Matthew 24:4)
- False Christs and false prophets will appear, who will deceive many (Matthew 24:5, 11, 24; Luke 21:8; 2 Peter 2:1-3)
- Increased wars, famines, and earthquakes (Matthew 24:6-8; Mark 13:7-8l Luke 21:9-11)
- Abandonment of living for God in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:1-5, 13; 2 Peter 3:3-4)
- Severe and even fatal persecution of believers of Christ Jesus (Matthew 10:22; 24:9; Mark 13:13; Luke 21:12; John 15:19; Acts 14:22)
- Increase of lawlessness, crime, and hatred (Matthew 24:10, 12; Luke 21:17)
- Disregard for love and family (Matthew 10:21, 24:10, 12; Mark 13:12; Luke 21:16)
- The Word of God, the gospel of Christ will be preached all around the world, in all nations (Matthew 24:14; Mark 13:10)
- The church will teach doctrine contrary to the faith (Luke 18:8; 2 Timothy 3:5, 4:3-4)
- Many will be deceived and many will depart from the faith of God (1 Timothy 4:1; 2 Timothy 3:13; 2 Peter 2:1-3)
- The Spirit of God will be poured on believers of Christ (Acts 2:17-18)
All of these Last Days events that have occurred. The time is now for the Lord to come.
Please note, God states in His word that no particular event must occur before the coming of the Lord and any such teaching or belief is not biblical, and is contrary to the word of God. Nothing prevents Jesus from returning today. Nothing must happen before the Lord can descend from Heaven to receive unto Him His own people.
Jesus can descend from Heaven today with a shout, just as He was expected to return during the apostle Paul's lifetime.
All of these Last Days events that have occurred, and are occurring now. The time is now for the Lord to come.
All people who stand firm in faith in Christ Jesus will be saved (Matthew 24:13; Mark 13:13).
The last days continue with believers preparing, watching, praying, and waiting for Christ coming in the clouds.
Unbelievers will not be prepared and will be caught unawares.
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Matthew 24:42 |
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Matthew 24:44 |
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Matthew 25:13 |
Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. Mark 13:33 |
Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. Mark 13:35-37 |
Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. Luke 12:40 |
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:34-36 |
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. Romans 13:11 |
Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Philippians 4:5 |
And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. 1 Thessalonians 1:10 |
Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 1 Thessalonians 5:6-11 |
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:8 |
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Titus 2:12-13 |
Are you prepared? Are you ready to stand before the Son of God?
The last days will continue with the unexpected coming of Jesus Christ in the clouds to claim His own, all who believe in Him to salvation.
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Matthew 24:42, 44 |
The word of God states that the coming of Jesus will be unexpected, in such an hour as you think not.
Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. Luke 12:40 |
The date and time is not known by any man, the day and hour no man knows, when the Lord will come.
The hour the Son of man cometh is unexpected. The date and time of the coming of Jesus to "catch up" the saints alive on earth is a secret time, that only God the Father knows (Matthew 24:36).
No one knows the hour Jesus will come and descend from Heaven, except God the Father, and He isn't telling anyone (Mark 13:32).
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Matthew 24:36 |
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Matthew 25:13 |
For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 1 Thessalonians 5:2 |
The event of the Lord descending from Heaven in the clouds, to "gather up" His own, is expected and watched for by all believers of Christ, but the time this event will occur is unexpected, NOT the event itself. This event will be unexpected by the world, the unbelievers of Christ.
All believers on earth will know when the Lord descends from Heaven in the clouds to gather His own, because:
- The Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a shout
- with the voice of the Archangel, and with the trump of God and
- All the saved in Christ Jesus, billions of people, will be "caught up" into the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).
When the Lord descends from Heaven, all who believe in Christ Jesus to salvation, believe that Jesus died and rose to life again (1 Thessalonians 4:14-15), all believers of Christ Jesus will either be resurrected from our graves (the dead in Christ) or "caught up" in the air (the saved in Christ on earth) to meet the Lord, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 |
All believers in Christ will hear the Lord shout from Heaven.
Jesus is the Good Shepherd, and His sheep hear His voice and follow Him. All believers in Christ are His sheep and all believers will hear His voice when He comes.
I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. John 10:14 |
Jesus promised to return, "The Blessed Hope"
Two thousand years ago, when Jesus walked this earth, He was crucified on a cross for the sins of ALL the people of this earth, and by His death everyone is set free from sin through faith in Him to salvation.
Jesus paid the price for our sins by His shed blood on His cross, so that we might receive eternal life (John 3:16). We all become the children of God through faith in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:26). There is no other way to God, but by faith in His Son to salvation (John 14:6).
Three days after Jesus Christ's earthly body died, He bodily rose from His grave, and by His life we too are promised eternal life through faith by grace (Ephesians 2:8). After Jesus rose from His grave, He walked and talked with people of the earth at that time, Jesus was seen by multitudes of people in His Heavenly resurrected body.
Forty days after His resurrection from bodily death to life (Acts 1:3), after walking and talking with multitudes of people, He ascended up into Heaven to sit on the right hand of God, and mediates between God the Father and mankind.
Before He left this earth, Jesus promised to come again, to receive His own, all the children of God to Himself, so that where He is, we may be also (John 14:2-3). Hallelujah!!
The angels of God said that Jesus would return in like manner as He went to Heaven. He ascended up into a cloud into Heaven, and He will descend down from a cloud from Heaven.
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Acts 1:9-11 |
Why is this "unexpected return of Christ" event different than "the Second Coming of Christ"?
One coming of Jesus is unexpected, and the second coming is expected (Matthew 24:33).
The rapture, the "caught up", of all believers in the air to meet Christ, and be with Him forever, requires no events to occur, and could happen at any day, therefore it is "unexpected". Christ could return today, because nothing else must be fulfilled before He returns for His own. During the rapture of the church, Christ does not come down to earth, but receives all believers up to Him in the clouds and takes all His own to Heaven to receive the Judgment.
The Second Coming of Christ will occur only after certain future events have taken place, which is after the rapture of the church, and after the seven year tribulation, and after the appearance and reign of the antichrist, and after the mark of the beast, etc. Once all these events occur then Christ will come down to earth to reign, this is His "expected" return, His Second coming down to earth.
| The unexpected coming of Christ Called the rapture, because all believers are "caught up" in the air with Christ, and go with Jesus to the Kingdom of Heaven, to ever be with the LORD. Jesus comes in the clouds and remains in the air, gathers all believers to Him in the clouds Jesus gathers His own, all believers to Him in the air, where we will be with Him forever. Jesus gathers His own to reward His own in Heaven. This event is unexpected, can happen at any day now, no events must occur before Jesus can come. No specific events must be fulfilled before Christ comes. The dead in Christ will be resurrected from their graves and meet Christ in the air. The saved in Christ who are alive at the unexpected coming of Christ will be caught up instantly in the air. | | The expected Second Coming of Christ Called the Second Coming of Christ, because this will be the second time Jesus came to earth. First as the Son of man, God in the flesh, to put on the sins of the world so that all the people of the world could be saved. Second as our sinless Lord and Saviour, our Eternal King who reigns forever more. Jesus comes down to earth, sets foot on the earth, reigns on the earth. Jesus comes down to earth with His own, with all the saints that He had gathered during the rapture. Jesus comes to earth to judge the world. This event is expected and can only occur after certain future events have taken place on this earth. Specific future events must be fulfilled before this event will occur. The dead in Christ will not be resurrected. The saved in Christ who are still alive at the Second Coming will remain on the earth and reign with Christ for 1,000 years. |
One Jesus remains in the air, and the other Jesus comes down to earth, sets foot on earth, and reigns on the earth.
One Jesus comes to gather His own, and the other Jesus comes to earth with His own.
One Jesus comes to reward His own, and the other Jesus comes to judge the world.
One coming of Christ is not calculated and one is calculated.
One has no specific events to be fulfilled before it occurs, and the has specific events that must be fulfilled before it occurs.
During the unexpected coming of Christ the saved in Christ will be "caught up" in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, to ever be with the Lord; and during the other, the saved in Christ who are alive remain on earth for the Millennium reign of Christ.
During the unexpected coming of Christ, Jesus remains above the earth in the clouds, and He does not descend all the way down to earth, Jesus resurrects the bodies of the dead in Christ first, and then ALL the saved in Christ alive on earth are ALL "caught up" into the clouds, together with the resurrected saints, to meet the Lord in the air, where we will be forever with the Lord.
The Second Coming of Christ is expected, certain expected events happen and must be fulfilled before His return, and Jesus descends to earth, and He establishes bodily rule on earth with the saints.
Why doesn't God want us to know the time of Christ's return?
And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. Acts 1:7 |
We must always remember that God's plan for everything is perfect (Matthew 5:48). Our ways are not God's ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). God's ways are past finding out (Job 9:10; Romans 11:33).
Faith is trusting in God in all things. We must trust in God that He knows how to complete everything perfectly and at the perfect time (Psalm 18:2; 2 Timothy 1:12).
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Isaiah 12:2 |
Only God is God, we are not to question the works of God (Psalm 48:14, 100:3).
We are to have complete unwavering faith in our Creator, our Lord God.
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrews 10:22-23 |
When Jesus descends from Heaven to receive His own to Himself, Jesus will bring with Him all the saints in Christ, the dead in Christ that have gone to Glory.
The minds, souls and spirits of all the departed saints that God brings with Him, their bodies will be resurrected from earth to join their spirits in the air, will rise to meet God in the air first.
The dead in Christ shall rise first. The resurrected bodies of the departed saints will then be united with their souls.
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1 Thessalonians 4:13-16 |
The alive in Christ, all the believers of Christ who are alive at the descending of Jesus from Heaven in the clouds, all believers who are alive and remain on earth, will be "caught up" together with the resurrected saints - in the clouds - to meet the Lord in the air - and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
The alive who are on earth at the descending of the Lord in the air, are the sheep of the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We who are alive and remain on earth are "one fold" of the sheep of Christ. The dead in Christ who have gone on before us, those that the God brings with Him, when He descends from Heaven, are of "another fold" of the sheep of Christ. All believers are joined in the air together to meet the Lord and be forever with the Lord.
I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. John 10:14-16 |
The believers who are alive at the time of Jesus' descending from Heaven, do NOT need to be resurrected, because we have not died, but our bodies will be changed, to enable us to be forever with the Lord.
The last days will continue with the unexpected return of Jesus Christ coming in the clouds to claim His own, all who believe in Him to salvation, will be "caught up" with Jesus, together with the resurrected saints, in the air to ever be with the Lord (1 Thessalonians 14-18).
Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 |
All believers who are alive at the descending return of Jesus from Heaven will be "caught up" together with the resurrected saints - in the clouds - to meet the Lord in the air - and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
The believers who are alive at the time of Jesus' return from Heaven do no need to be resurrected, because we have not died, but our bodies will be changed, to enable us to be forever with the Lord.
Jesus promised to return to earth to receive us to Himself, so that where He is we can be also.
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:2-3 |
Why do some people call this event "the Rapture"?
Being "caught up" to meet the Lord in the air is often called the Rapture, because the words "caught up" are translated as rapture.
The event where all believers alive on the earth will be "caught up" to meet the Lord in the air, is called the Rapture, the caught up.
Some people may argue that since the word "rapture" is not in the Bible that it should not be used.
Just because the word "rapture" is not found in your Bible, does not make the event less valid, because we see by definition it means "to be caught up". This is like the word "book" being translated is called "bible", does not make the word "bible" invalid, just because the word "bible" is not in the bible.
If you feel more comfortable calling this event "the caught up" instead of "the rapture", because one is in your Bible, please use the words "caught up", but know that it does not take away from the fact that they have the exact same meaning.
Who will not be "caught up"?
Unbelievers will NOT be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. All who are NOT in Christ, all people who are NOT saved by the blood of the Lamb, will NOT be "caught up" to meet the Lord in the air. All people who do NOT have a current personal relationship with Christ Jesus will NOT meet Him in the air. All people who have denied Christ will not meet Him in the air. All people who have NOT allowed Jesus into their heart, accepted the salvation of God through faith in Christ Jesus will NOT be "caught up" with the Lord in the air.
We are saved and become the children of God through faith in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:26). There is no other way to be saved, apart from Jesus (John 14:6). We must come unto God by Him (Hebrews 7:25). There is no other name by which we are saved, but Jesus (Acts 4:12).
All people are either with Christ, or they are without Christ.
All people are separated to God, or separated from God. All people are walking to God, or walking away from God.
Believing in Christ to salvation are people who are saved. Not believing in Christ to salvation are people who are lost.
The unbelieving will be eternally separated from God (Hebrews 3:12; Revelation 21:8).
Unbelief separates anyone from God (Hebrews 3:19).
What will happen in the world, when ALL the believers are "caught up to meet the Lord in the air"?
Can you even imagine what this will be like?
The Scriptures describe this time as in the days of the great flood, the day that Noah entered into the ark.
But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Matthew 24:37-41 |
All believers "caught up" to meet the Lord in the air are delivered from the wrath to come - the tribulation.
And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. 1 Thessalonians 1:10 |
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:36 |
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 1 Thessalonians 5:9 |
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Revelation 3:10-11 |
The wrath of God is revealed against all ungodliness and all unrighteousness men. All who by faith believe in Christ Jesus to salvation will escape the wrath of God, the tribulation. (John 3:36; Romans 1:18; 2:8-11). The wrath of God is on the children of disobedience (Ephesians 5:6; Colossians 3:6).
We are saved from wrath through faith in Christ Jesus. Jesus delivers all believers from the wrath of God to come (1 Thessalonians 1:10).
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:9 |

The last days will continue with the Tribulation.
After ALL BELIEVERS, the saved in Christ, are "caught up" united together with the Lord in the air, to ever be with the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:17), the Tribulation can begin.
Why is there a tribulation? When all the saints of God are "caught up" with Him in the air, why can't that just be the end? Because that is not God's perfect plan. God wants to give unbelievers another chance to repent and be saved.
God does NOT want any person to perish - to die in their sins and be separated from Him for all eternity. God wants to give the tribulation people another chance to receive salvation.
The Tribulation begins after all the believers of the earth are "caught up" to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).
There will be billions of people on earth left behind on earth during the tribulation.
Who will be left? Unbelievers of Christ will be left behind. Just like now, there will be all types of people left on earth, after the saved in Christ are "caught up" to be forever with the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18), except the saved.
After the saved in Christ, who are alive when Christ descends from Heaven and are "caught up" to be forever with the Lord, are gone there will be NO saved in Christ people on this earth. I cannot imagine a world without any saved people.
Many of these people left, will know the Holy Scriptures and will know exactly what happened and why. How horrible for them when they realize, it was all true!
Many people left will not have a clue what has happened.
Within the billions of people who are left, to face the wrath of God during the tribulation, many people after realizing:
- What has truly happened, that Jesus "caught up" the saved in Christ into the clouds to ever be with the Lord
- The truth of God, after realizing Jesus is the Christ and the Lord of lords and the King of kings,
- Jesus is the only way to God
- What has really happened in this world
Will fall flat on their face and cry out to God to save their souls, will pray and ask Jesus to forgive them of their sins against Him, repent and confess of sins, turn from sin to God, and believe the Son of God to salvation, and will be saved.
Look to Me and be saved, for I am God and there is none else! (Isaiah 45:22)
God promises that anyone, "whosoever calls upon the name of the Son of God, Jesus Christ, will be saved" (Acts 2:21).
Multitudes of people will be saved at the beginning of the Tribulation, and multitudes of people will be saved during the Tribulation, this is why God does NOT bring an end to the world after the saints are "caught up" to meet the Lord in the air.
Who will NOT be saved during the tribulation? Unfortunately, most of the same people who are not saved today, will not make a decision to accept Christ as their Lord and Saviour during the tribulation.
The deception of satan has a hold on many people in this world, they are in bondage to the lies of satan, they choose living with satan, living in sin, rather than living with Jesus.
Some people believe that they can just wait, and get religion later, maybe even wait until the tribulation, if there really is one. "Waiting until later" is a lie straight from the devil himself. No one is promised a tomorrow, no one is promised a later.
Chances are, if you know about Christ, and about salvation, and you have not made the decision to accept the salvation of God through faith in His Son today, chances are extremely high that you will NOT make a decision to follow Christ during the Tribulation. Why? because it will be much more difficult to follow Christ during the Tribulation, than it is today to follow Christ to salvation.
If you do NOT accept Christ as Lord and Saviour in your life today, what makes you think you can, or will, during the tribulation? If you think it is hard to make a commitment to God today, it will be almost impossible during the tribulation. Why? Because the Word of God says that during the tribulation it will be a time worse than any other time in the history of man, in the history of this world.
During the Tribulation multitudes of people will have their heads cut off for professing faith in Christ Jesus. Are you faced with this horror today? Not in the United States, you're not.
For more information see - TRIBULATION
The last days will continue with the appearance of the antichrist.
The name says it all, he will be called the anti-Christ, because he is against Christ.
The word of God calls anyone who is against Christ, and antichrist, but during the tribulation there will be a certain man who will be the antichrist, a leader of all other antichrists.
The antichrist is called by many names in the word of God: the beast, a little horn (Daniel 7:8), the man of lawlessness (2 Thessalonians 2:3), the lawless one (2 Thessalonians 2:8), he is the servant of satan.
The antichrist will appear during the Tribulation.
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 1 John 2:18 |
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 1 John 2:22 |
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 1 John 4:3 |
For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 2 John 1:7 |
Through Scripture we can know this is the last time, and many antichrists are in the world now.
The Word of God shows us all, who are antichrists and who is the antichrist.
An antichrist is:
- Against Christ - anti-Christ
- A deceiver.
- Anyone who does NOT confess Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.
- NOT of God.
- A liar.
- Anyone who denies that Jesus is the Christ.
- Denies faith in God the Father and the Son.
The antichrist is one who is a deceiver, who does NOT confess Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, who is NOT of God, who is a liar, who denies that Jesus is the Christ, and who denies the Father and the Son.
Through a series of calculated events, the antichrist will establish himself as ruler of the entire world (Revelation 13:5, 7).
Although the antichrist deceives people into believing he comes to bring balance and peace to a world in chaos, there is no truth in him, for he is a liar and extremely wicked person, a beast full of sin and bound to the devil.
The antichrist will eventually setup a throne for himself, erecting an image of himself to be worship, demanding worship as God from the whole world (Revelation 13:14-15).
The antichrist will establish a world wide management system, that will require allegiance to him alone, by ALL people through a mark on the right hand or forehead. Anyone who does not accept the mark will not be able to buy or sell, and will be promised death. (Revelation 13:15-18).
The antichrist is a counterfeit, just like his master satan, and will counterfeit the miracles of God, through the power of satan (allowed by God), and deceive many people all around the world. One of these counterfeit miracles will be to be to return from the dead (Revelation 13:3), which will deceive many people into believing he is a god.
The antichrist will be assisted by the false prophet.
The antichrist will align himself with a large religion system, bringing in many converts through lies and deceit.
The antichrist will kill the two witnesses of God.
The antichrist will destroy the religious system which he helped create to deceive the world.
Who will worship the antichrist? All people whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb, the lost, all who do not believe in Christ Jesus to salvation, will worship the antichrist. (Revelation 13;8).
What will happen to all people who worship the antichrist and receive the mark of the beast?
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Revelation 14:9-11 |
All people who take the mark of the beast will receive the wrath of God and eternal separation from God, because their names are not in the Book of Life (Revelation 20:15, 21:27).
The seven plagues of the wrath of God will be poured on all who take the mark of the beast and who worship the image of the beast (Revelation 16:1-21).
The beast (the antichrist) and the false prophet, who deceived people to receive the mark of the beast, will be destroyed by the hand of God, cast alive into a like of fire burning with brimstone (Revelation 19:20).
Only those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life, who have received the salvation of God through faith in Christ Jesus to salvation, who did not take the mark of the beast, will escape the wrath of God, will escape eternal damnation, and will live with God for all eternity (Revelation 21:27).
The antichrist will establish a world wide management system, that will require allegiance to him, by ALL people through a mark on the right hand or forehead. No one will be exempt from receiving the mark. Anyone who does not accept the mark will not be able to buy or sell, and will be promised death. (Revelation 13:15-18).
What will happen to all people who worship the beast and receive the mark of the beast?
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Revelation 14:9-11 |
The seven plagues of the wrath of God will be poured on all who take the mark of the beast and who worship the image of the beast (Revelation 16:1-21).
And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. Revelation 19:21 |
What will happen to the people who do NOT receive the mark of the beast? If they live until the Second Coming of Christ, they will live and reign with Christ a thousand years.
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Revelation 20:4 |
The last three and one half years of the Tribulation is called the Great Tribulation. Certain events will occur at the end of this time.
The last days continue with the expected return of Christ Jesus to earth, to end the Great Tribulation and begin the Millennium.
The expected return of Christ Jesus is often called "the Second Coming of Christ".
This is the expected return of Christ because the Scriptures tells us when it will occur.
For more information see - The SECOND COMING
The last days will continue with the Millennium, when Christ Jesus will establish His kingdom on earth and reign with His saints on earth for a 1,000 years.
The fact that satan will be bound for a thousand years, makes this event unique in history, because we have never experienced a time in which satan was bound.
Throughout our lives and the lives of all mankind throughout history, the devil has walked the earth, roaming around, seeking people to devour, to destroy and kill (1 Peter 5:8).
The Great White Throne of Judgment follows the 1,000 millennial reign of Christ on earth.
The Great White Throne of Judgment occurs after the 1,000 year reign of Christ on earth (the Millennium).
The last days will continue with the great white throne of judgment, with all God's enemies being put into the lake of fire for eternity.
And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:11-15 |
Who will be at the Great White Throne of Judgment? Everyone who died without faith in Christ, everyone throughout time who died and did NOT believe in Christ Jesus to salvation, ALL the unbelieving will be at the Great White Throne of Judgment.
All people ever born throughout all time that are NOT found written in the Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire.
There are no second chances after someone dies to accept the salvation of God. If your name is not written in the Book of Life before you die, it cannot be added after you die without Christ.
God said we are all appointed once to die, and after that the judgment (Hebrews 9:27). Salvation is not promised after death, only before.
The salvation of God is accepted on this earth, while we are alive. God tells everyone in His word, that the decision to accept Christ will not be offered by God after death.
The salvation of God is accept by man in his earthly body, and received in his heavenly body (1 Peter 1:7). This is the perfect plan of God.
The last days will end with the end of the world and God creating a new Heaven and a new earth, a Heavenly Jerusalem where the Lord God Almighty will reign forever with all people who are written in the Lamb's book of life, and so shall we ever be with the Lord our God.
All the lasts days have ended. All evil has been destroyed by the Word of God.
For more information see - THE END OF THE WORLD
The Eternal Kingdom of God is filled with all the children of God, praising God and saying, "Hallelujah to the Lord God, Hosanna in the highest".
All things are passed away and all things are new.
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:1-4 |
New Jerusalem is the name of the City of God in Heaven.
Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. Revelation 3:12 |

Survival Guide for the Last Days.
Today, we are in the last days. Scripture tells us that absolutely nothing must occur before Jesus returns for His own. This is why all believers in the faith must be prepared.
Accepting the salvation of God, believing in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour is the only way to survive the Last Days.
Jesus is our Blessed Hope and our strength for all believers during these last days.
The Word of God holds the key to surviving the Last Days, as all is revealed.
First, you must determine where you are in regards to the Last Days - that is, beginning, middle, or end, determined by what is happening in this world.
No one knows specifically what will happen after the rapture of the Church. I don't know if the internet will still be up, and if the lost will be able to find websites like this one, that point them to read the Word of God and seek the truth and receive the love of God and His gift of salvation. We do know what is written in the Word and in it God shares His love and His Hope for all mankind, before and during the Last Days.
The Last Days began long ago. The beginning of the last days have already been marked, they are here. The next phase of the last days begins with the rapture of the Church, when Jesus will come in heavens, calling all of His own - the Church - to Him.
Every believer of Christ Jesus will be caught up - "raptured" - and will forever be with the LORD (1 Thessalonians 4:17). If you were not raptured, you will face great tribulation.
There is hope! If you find yourself on earth after the rapture. If you find yourself here on earth after the Church (the saved in Christ) is gone, the only way you will survive your remaining days on earth is to accept the salvation of God, repent of your sins and believe with your whole being that Jesus Christ is Lord and that He can save you from sin and death.
Unbelief will separate anyone from the Kingdom of God and salvation for all eternity.
Some people think this way - "So, then, I can just wait and see if all this is true, I can wait until after the so called "rapture of the Church" is over, and if that really does happen, then I can get saved". Well, the Bible says you can't.
If you think that you can wait until after the rapture of the Church and then decide to accept Christ into your life, you are truly lost. The idea that you will have the strength or desire to decide to accept Christ after the rapture is an error in thinking, because there will be greater denial of the truth after the rapture than before. Your rejection of Christ will be greater after the rapture, than it is before. Meaning, if you reject Christ now, for whatever reason, your denial of the truth will be even greater after the rapture of the Church.
Today, right now, if you hear the voice of God, Christ calling you to Him, you must not refuse Him, you must believe in God now, you must not deny His truth, because there is no guarantee that you will ever hear His call again.
Scripture tells us that those who have been exposed to the truth of God and rejected it, will face greater loss than those who have never heard His truth.
The middle of the Last Days continues with the seven year tribulation, as described in the Word of God.
At the end of the Great Tribulation, Christ Jesus will descend to earth and reign on earth for 1,000 years.
At the end of the Millennium reign of Jesus, God will destroy all evil. All who remain faithful to God will live forever with the Lord in His Kingdom.
The end of the Last Days is clearly defined in the Word of God. The saved in Christ will forever reign with Him in the Holy Jerusalem, the Kingdom of the Lord God Almighty forever and ever.
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. Revelation 21:1, 3-4 |
