This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be
glad in it.
Psalm 118:24
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace,
that
we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:16
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:13 |
There is not a more pressing time than today to grab hold
of godly affirmations. This world, the media, the culture is feeding our
minds with all kinds of untruths. We must stand firm and know who we are
in Christ Jesus, we must know the truth of God's word and say them to ourselves
everyday.
The dictionary defines an affirmation as something stated
positively; a positive assertion; the act of validating; confirming.
Quoting scriptures daily from the word of God is a positive way
to confirm our beliefs and grow in Christ.
There is no better way to start any day than with the
affirming words of our LORD God.
Receive, I pray thee, the law
from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.
Job 22:22 |
First we will look at scriptural affirmations FROM God, and
then we will look at scriptural affirmations TO God.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 |
God loved me so much, that He gave me His most precious
treasure of all, His Son, Jesus Christ, to come to earth and die for my sins, so
that I could have everlasting life with them.
The Son of God loved me so much that He gave Himself for me.
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth
in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son
of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20 |
God the Father and God the Son, our Lord Jesus Christ Himself,
who both loved me, gives me an everlasting hope through their grace, comforting
my heart and establishing me in every good word and work.
Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved
us,
and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 |
I love them and they love me. My Lord God will come to
me and manifest Himself to me and They will make Their abode with me.
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me:
and he
that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will
manifest myself to him.
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words:
and
my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not
mine, but the Father's which sent me.
John 14:21,23-24 |
God loves me and I will continue in His love.
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
John 15:9 |
Absolutely nothing can separate me from the love of God which
is in Christ Jesus my Lord.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels,
nor
principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from
the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39 |
As a believer of Christ Jesus to salvation, I am a child of God forever,
and I know that, when He appears I shall be like Him, for I will see Him as He
is.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall
be:
but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall
see him as he is. 1 John 3:2 |
Jesus Christ is the proof the assurance of God's love toward
me. God loved me before I even was. God laid out His plan for my
salvation at the very beginning of time. God sent Jesus to be the
sacrifice for my sins, so that I could receive eternal life, so that I could be
with them for all eternity.
In this was manifested the love of God toward us,
because that God sent his
only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to
be the propitiation for our sins.
1 John 4:9-10 |
I know and believe the love that God has for me. I know
and believe that God is love. I know and believe that God and His love
dwells in me.
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us.
God is love; and
he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
1 John 4:16 |
I believe that we are all born searching for love, hungering
for love, needing love. This void, this emptiness in our life can only be
filled and completed by the love of God. Without answering God's call,
accepting His free gift of salvation from sin and death, and saying yes to His
Son, we can never quench our thirst for love, our hunger for love.
We may find false, temporary love in other things, money,
success, other people, but the void, the emptiness, the hunger, the need, will
always be present in our lives until we fill our hearts with the true love of
Christ Jesus. True, fulfilling love only comes from God, who is love, who
is complete love, not a temporary fix for the void in our lives, but a
permanent, everlasting love, that will never fade away. Gods' love will always
be with us for eternity.
True love is not in earthly things, material things, true love
is only found in one, Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. There is no
greater love than the love of God.
Loving one another follows loving God. The word of God
reads that if God loves us and we love God, then we should love one another.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
1 John 4:11
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God;
and every one that
loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
1 John 4:7-8
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
John 15:12
If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar:
for he that
loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not
seen?
And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother
also.
1 John 4:20-21
|
Our love of God is revealed in how we love one another.
The love we show toward others is a result of us loving God.
How much we
love God is expressed in how we love one another. Loving God and loving
one another is connected. If we don't love one another then we don't love
God (1 John 4:20-21), it is that simple - and it is that important. God is
love (1 John 4:7-8). When we receive God into our lives, we receive His
love (1 John 4:7-8), and His love is manifested to us and out from us, when we
love one another.
Sometimes in this life, we can feel all alone and that the
whole world is against us, but God gives us comfort in that He is always
with us and GOD is FOR US. With God FOR US, is
does not matter who is against us?
When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back:
this I know; for God is for me.
Psalm 56:9
The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can
man do unto me?
Psalm 118:6
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:31
|
There is no greater power than God's power. God is
greater than any other, and greater is He that is with me than he that is in
this world (1 John 4:4).
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:
because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in this world
1 John 4:4 |
We serve the God of Peace. God alone gives His peace to
His children. The peace of God passes all understanding. The peace
of God is comfort to His children, assurance that He is with us always, even
into our death, even into the end of this world (Matthew 28:19-20).
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:7 |
There has never been a time in history where antidepressants
were prescribed more. The people of this world are in a fight to gain
control over their own minds. Scripture tells us all that only God gives
people a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Through the God of Peace we can have
a sound mind, a strong mind kept sound through the power of Christ Jesus through
His salvation.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of
the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
Amen.
Matthew 28:19-20 |
There is a beautiful song sung by Sandi Patty named
Always, that I love to listen to, that lifts me
up and confirms that Jesus is always with me, near me, watching
out for me, and loving me always.
Loneliness and can lead to chemical addictions and harmful
behavior. Every day people turn to alcohol and drugs, chemicals and
dangerous behavior, in the hope of replacing or eliminating the pain of
loneliness.
When people detach themselves from other people and look for
comfort in chemicals or dangerous behavior, they become obsessed with relieving
their pain and addicted to a new pain.
It is important to know God loves us and that He promises to
be with us always. Affirm God's presence with you every day, affirm His
love to you, affirm your love to Him.
As believers in Christ Jesus, nothing is impossible for us
with God.
God gives each of His children specific gifts and specific
duties to perform for His Kingdom. The possibilities with God are endless
and limitless. Listen to the Spirit of God, what is He saying to you, what
is He asking you to do for His Kingdom today.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth
me.
Philippians 4:13
Jesus said unto him,
If thou canst believe,
all things are possible to him that believeth.
Mark 9:23
And Jesus looking upon them saith,
With men it is impossible, but not with God:
for with God all things are possible.
Mark 10:27
Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the
earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard
for thee:
Jeremiah 32:17
|
Man has limits, but there are no limits to God. Too
often we limit God by not allowing Him to complete His work within our lives, we
must give the reigns to Him, surrender to His will for our lives.
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God,
that he may exalt you in due time:
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
1 Peter 5:6-7 |
I will NOT fear. Get behind me fear, go away in the
name of the Lord.
Fear is the root cause of every sin. Do not entertain
fear for a moment, when it begins to creep into your life and manifest itself as
worry, guilt, condemnation, command fear to leave in the name of the Lord and
God promises that it must leave you.
Say to them that are of a fearful heart,
Be strong, fear
not:
behold, your God will come with vengeance,
even God with a recompense; he
will come and save you.
Isaiah 35:4 |
The Lord God promises to deliver me from ALL my fears.
God is faithful and will fulfill all He promises to us. God said if we
seek Him, that we will find Him, that's a promise from God! (Jeremiah 29:13;
Proverbs 8:17)
I sought the LORD, and he heard me,
and delivered me from all my fears.
Psalm 34:4
In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
Psalm 56:11
|
God is love and there is no fear in love, by placing our faith
and trust in God we destroy fear (1 John 4:18).
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper,
and I
will not fear what man shall do unto me. Hebrews 13:6
The LORD is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be
afraid? Psalm 27:1
|
We could have no greater helper than Almighty God.
No one else can help us as much as He can. None of us is ever helpless,
because we know that the Lord is our helper in any and all situations no matter
what.
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper,
and I
will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Hebrews 13:6
Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my
helper. Psalm 30:10

the Lord is with them that
uphold my soul. Psalm 54:4
|

do not live alone - I have the Lord and He is my constant helper.

them,

and God shall wipe
away all tears from their eyes.

there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be
any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4 |

but I will see you again,
and your heart shall rejoice,
and your joy no man taketh from you.
John 16:22

and the first begotten of the dead,
and the prince of the kings of the earth.
Unto him that loved us,
and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father;
to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Behold, he cometh with clouds;
and every eye shall see him,
and they also which pierced him:
and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.
Even so, Amen. Revelation 1:5-7
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself;
that where I am, there ye may be also.
John 14:3
|
In my Father's house are many mansions:
if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:2

my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

in his salvation.
Psalm 35:9
I will greatly rejoice in the LORD,
my soul shall be
joyful in my God;
for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation,
he
hath covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decketh himself
with ornaments,
and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. Isaiah 61:10
Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

ye people, pour out your heart
before him:
God is a refuge for us.
Selah. Psalm 62:8
|
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us,
so our
consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation,
which
is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings
which we also suffer: or
whether we be comforted,
it is for your consolation and salvation.
2 Corinthians 1:5-6
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present
time are not worthy to be compared
with the glory which shall be revealed in
us. Romans 8:18
There hath no temptation taken you
but such as is common to
man:
but God is faithful, who will not suffer you
to be tempted above that ye
are able;
but will with the temptation also make a way to escape,
that ye may be
able to bear it.

not only
to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

But what things were gain to me,
those I counted loss for
Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss
for the excellency of the
knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all
things,
and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
Philippians 3:7-8

shall
suffer persecution.

that they may also obtain the salvation
which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 2 Timothy 2:10
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial
which is to try you,

that, when his
glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 1 Peter 4:12-13
Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God

to the soul
that seeketh him.
It is good that a man should both hope and
quietly wait for the salvation of the
LORD.

Proverbs 20:22
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing
that tribulation worketh patience;

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our
hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5:3-5
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written
for our learning,
that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might
have hope.
Romans 15:4
But thou, O man of God, flee these things;
and follow after
righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

whereunto thou art also
called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:11-12

the Lord draweth nigh.
James 5:8
|
Patience is a virtue that we must all work at perfecting.
Patience must be prayed about and practiced. The more we practice patience
the more patient we will become. Patience takes love and trusting that God
has everything under control. We are to wait on the Lord. God knows
all things, things that we have no possibility of knowing.
We must choose to be glad. I will be glad, not because
everything is going my way, but because of who I am in Christ Jesus. The
circumstances around me do not dictate my happiness, God does. I can be
glad, I can rejoice because I have hope in the Lord.
I will be glad because of all the wondrous, beautiful, great
things God has done. I will be glad because I am made accepted to the
Beloved.
This life - my life - is not about me, but it is about God and
how the Light of Christ Jesus can shine through me and help serve others, help
bring others to the Kingdom of God.
The LORD hath done great things for us;
whereof we are
glad.
Psalm 126:3
Thou hast put gladness in my heart,
more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. Psalm 4:7

Let the LORD be magnified,
which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. Psalm 35:27
Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee:
let such as love thy salvation say continually,
The LORD be magnified. Psalm 40:16
The righteous shall be glad in the LORD,
and shall trust in him;
and all the upright in heart shall glory. Psalm 64:10
I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
Psalm 122:1
|
I have a million things to be glad about and they all because
of One - Christ Jesus - the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the only begotten
Son of God, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the
last, my Saviour and Lord.
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the Father of mercies,
and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation,
that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble,
by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4

and break forth
into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people,
and will have
mercy upon his afflicted. Isaiah 49:13

this I know; for God is for me. Psalm 56:9

work together for good
to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
|
Comfort, peace of mind, settled, only God the Father of
mercies gives one true everlasting comfort.
I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my
right hand, I shall not be moved.
Psalm 16:8
He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I
shall not be moved.
Psalm 62:6
|
I shall not be moved from my faith in God.
I shall not be moved from loving God today. I shall not be moved from
serving God every day. I shall not be moved from praying to Jesus.
I shall not be moved from believing in every word of God. I shall not
be moved from loving others, serving others, placing others above myself.
I shall not be moved from following Jesus all the days of my life.
All those who do move away from God do not state that they
shall not be moved.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings
in heavenly places in Christ:
According as he hath chosen us in him
before the foundation of the world,
that
we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children
by Jesus Christ to
himself,
according to the good pleasure of his will,
To the praise of the glory of his grace,
wherein he hath made us accepted in
the beloved.
Ephesians 1:3-6 |
Christianity turns a lot of people off today, because the world doesn't see
happy Christians. Why would the world want to live a life of misery,
hopelessness, unhappiness, depression, anger, and hurt? They already have
that!
The children of God are NOT cursed, WE ARE BLESSED!!
We should live like we are blessed!!
The lost of the world are supposed to see the light of Christ Jesus in
us and glorify God; they are supposed to see our immense joy and ask us
how to get it!!
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your
good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 5:16
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts:
and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of
the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
1 Peter 3:15
|
We are all blessed by God to be a blessing to others.
God does not bless us so that we can feel blessed, not at all, God
blesses us so that we can go out and bless others.
Every gift that God gives to us is meant to be given to
others. The love of God is gifted to us, so that we can turn around and
give God's love to someone else. The faith that God gifts us is given to
us so that we can show our faith out in this world to the unbelieving, so that
they might believe. We miss the mark when we do not share the gifts of God
to others. Charity, one of the greatest gifts of God, is the love
of God shared.
I am blessed. This affirmation can keep one
from committing the sin of complaining and murmuring, because when you are
blessed by God you have nothing to complain about!
Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth:
my
flesh also shall rest in hope.
Psalm 16:9 |
My rest is in the Lord.
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I
will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28 |
Not everyone has rest and not everyone has hope, and therefore
many people cannot rest in hope. Only God gives peace and there is hope
only in the Lord.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of
my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Psalm 23:6 |
For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace:
the mountains and the hills shall break forth
before you into singing,
and all
the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Isaiah 55:12
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you:
not as
the world giveth, give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let
it be afraid.
John 14:27
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7
|
The LORD God is my strength,
and he will make my
feet like hinds' feet,
and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.
To the
chief singer on my stringed instruments. Habakkuk 3:19
The LORD is my strength and song,
and he is become
my salvation:
he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation;
my father's
God, and I will exalt him. Exodus 15:2
The LORD is my strength and song,
and is become my
salvation. Psalm 118:14

your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.

my youth.

Psalm 119:116 |
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that
ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good
work: 2 Corinthians 9:8 |
My sufficiency is of God. God is enough.
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing
as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; 2 Corinthians 3:5 |
Material things, things of this earth can never satisfy
anyone. The natural man's desires are never satisfied, are never full, and
they will die wanting more. The King of Kings, Jesus Christ, fills to
overflowing the hunger and thirst of anyone who seeks Him and asks Him to be
their sufficiency in all things.
And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and
my
deliverer;
The God of my rock; in Him will I trust:
He is my shield, and the horn of my
salvation,
my high tower, and my refuge, my Saviour;
thou savest me from
violence. 2 Samuel 22:2-3
The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my
God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn of my
salvation, and my high tower. Psalm 18:2
For he hath delivered me out of all trouble:
and mine eye
hath seen his desire upon mine enemies. Psalm 54:7
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain
thee:
he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22
|
God is our deliverer - He delivered us out of our trouble in the past,
He delivers us today - present, and He will continue to deliver us
in the future.
But we had the sentence of death in ourselves,
that we should not trust in
ourselves,
but in God which raiseth the dead:
Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver:
in whom we trust
that he will yet deliver us;
2 Corinthians 1:9- 10 |
Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word;
Your brethren that hated you,
that cast you out for my name's sake, said,
Let
the LORD be glorified:
but he shall appear to your joy,
and they shall be
ashamed.

I will call on the LORD,
who is worthy to be praised:
so
shall I be saved from mine enemies.

therefore the world hateth you. John 15:18-19

will not fear what man shall do unto me.

cut them off in thy
truth. Psalm 54:5
Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth:
yet they
have not prevailed against me.

And they shall fight against thee;
but they shall not
prevail against thee;
for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.
Jeremiah 1:19
But the LORD is with me
as a mighty terrible one:
therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail:
they shall
be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper:
their everlasting confusion
shall never be forgotten. Jeremiah 20:11
But the LORD is my defence;
and my God is the rock
of my refuge. Psalm 94:22
|
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
1 Peter 5:7 For I know the
thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace,
and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah
29:11 |
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee:
he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 |

do all in the name of
the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

|
I am abundantly contented in my LORD!
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not
want.
Psalm 23:1
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine
enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Psalm 23:5
The LORD is my portion, saith my soul;
therefore will I
hope in him.

For the LORD God is a sun and shield:
the LORD will give
grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them
that walk uprightly.
Psalm 84:11
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you;
that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things,
may abound to every good work:
2 Corinthians 9:8
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
Philippians 4:11
|
Has your soul been restored?
What blessed peace we are given by GOD when He restores our soul.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me
beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's
sake. Psalm 23:2-3 |
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of
death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they
comfort me.

and declare the works of the
LORD.
Psalm 118:17
My flesh and my heart faileth:
but God is the strength of
my heart, and my portion for ever.
Psalm 73:26
|
And Jesus answered and said unto him,
Get thee behind
me, Satan:
for it is written,
Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God,
and him
only shalt thou serve. Luke 4:8 |
This may not seem like an affirmation, but we must be
like Christ and when the devil tries to tempt us, we must say, "Go away, get
behind me, Satan".
Personally, I am tempted by the devil all the time, and this
saying, using this quote from God, "Get thee behind me, satan" has proven
to have miraculous results.
No trouble is too big, or too bad for GOD to fix. There
has never been a trouble known to man that GOD cannot get you out of; He waits
on us to ask Him for His help.
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will joy in the God of my
salvation.
Habakkuk 3:18
The LORD is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusted in
him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song
will I praise him.
Psalm 28:7
For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth;
the poor
also, and him that hath no helper. Psalm 72:12
For he hath delivered me out of all trouble:
and mine eye
hath seen his desire upon mine enemies. Psalm 54:7
|
No one can avoid trouble in their lives, especially believers.
But I have found in the darkest moments of my
life, when I rejoice in the LORD, when I praise God Almighty, when I lift
up my soul with singing to my Christ, when I turn my focus on Him and away from
my troubles that my troubles fade away. Christ is my deliverer.
I may need to still deal with and resolve my problems, or
trouble, but the problem shrinks in size and does not consume my life.
God is bigger than my problems.
If we feed our trouble, by dwelling on it and
feeding it with fear, it can destroy parts of our lives, if not all of our
life.
When trouble comes, we need to focus on Jesus more
than ever, filling our thoughts and mind with Christ alone.
Don't worry how or when God will get you out of
your trouble, believe that He will, know that He will and claim
His power and deliverance over your trouble.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe
in God, believe also in me. John 14:1 |
Proclaim today - "I will trust in the Lord God and I
will not be troubled."
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:
for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:
but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us
with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26
We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of
the weak, and not to please ourselves. Romans 15:1
|
Through Jesus we are all loosed - set free - from our infirmities.
And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto
her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. Luke 13:12 |
Glory and honour are in his
presence; strength and gladness are in his place.
Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD
glory and strength.
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering,
and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that
it be not moved.
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice:
and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.
1 Chronicles 16:27-31 |
O magnify the LORD with me,
and let us exalt his name together.
Psalm 34:3
Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my
righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified,
which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. Psalm 35:27
Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee:
let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified. Psalm 40:16
I will praise the name of God with a song,
and will magnify him with thanksgiving.
Psalm 69:30
Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee:
and let such as love thy salvation say continually,
Let God be magnified.
Psalm 70:4
According to my earnest expectation and my hope,
that in nothing I shall be ashamed,
but that with all boldness, as always,
so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body,
whether it be by life, or by death.
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Philippians 1:20-21
|
Giving thanks always for all things unto God
and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Ephesians 5:20 |
God is worthy of our trust. God is our protector, our
salvation, our saviour.
The God of my rock; in him will I
trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower,
and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. 2
Samuel 22:3 The LORD is my rock, and my
fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will
trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
Psalm 18:2 |
Trust in the Lord conquers all fears. When we
place our trust in the Lord we are not afraid.
What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
Psalm 56:3 In God I will praise his word, in God I
have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
Psalm 56:4 In God have I put my trust: I will not
be afraid what man can do unto me. Psalm 56:11
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for
the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my
salvation. Isaiah 12:2 |
Just as we know to place our trust in the Lord, we need to
know what NOT to place our trust in. We are not to place our trust in man
or in uncertain riches. The things of this earth are temporal not eternal.
It is better to trust in the LORD
than to put confidence in man. Psalm 118:8
Charge them that are rich in this world,
that they be not highminded,
nor trust in uncertain riches,
but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
1 Timothy 6:17 |
We are to trust in the Lord in all things pertaining to our
lives. God has the best plan for our lives.
I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will
trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah. Psalm 61:4 |
I will not depart from the ways of God.
For I have kept the ways of the LORD,
and have not wickedly departed from my God. 2 Samuel 22:22
For I have kept the ways of the LORD,
and have not wickedly departed from my God. Psalm 18:21
|
I am kept by the power of God.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
which according to his abundant mercy
hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled,
and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
Who are kept by the power of God
through faith unto salvation
ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1:3-5 |
In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in
doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may
be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine
of God our Saviour in all things. Titus 2:7-8,10 |
These things have I written unto you
that believe on the name of the Son of God;
that ye may know that ye have eternal life,
and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5:13 For ye are all the children of God by
faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and
daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6:18 |
If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God;
if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth:
that
God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ,
to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever.
Amen. 1 Peter 4:11 |
I love the Lord,
because He hath heard my voice and my supplications. Psalm 116:1
We love him, because he first loved us.
1 John 4:19
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in
the Holy Ghost,
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus
Christ unto eternal life. Jude 1:20-21
|
I love them that love Me; and those that seek Me early
shall find Me.

unto Me, and I will hearken unto you.
And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your
heart.
Jeremiah 29:12-13

We are to be like Jesus. Jesus is our example of
how we are to be living.
Jesus said, "the Father has not left me
alone; for I do always those things that please Him" - John 8:29.
And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not let me
alone; for I do always those things that please him. John 8:29 |

"I do always those things that please

The purpose of Jesus leaving the glory of
Heaven to come to this earth was to give us life - abundant life - His life
and life with Him today and forevermore.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to
destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it
more abundantly. John 10:10 |
Jesus suffered and died on His cross to
give us life and not just an ordinary life of less, but a life of
more in substance, abundant life, more in hope, more in faith, more
in love, than the world around us.
We must claim our abundant life
in Christ Jesus. We must stop complaining about our lives and
start living them abundantly through Christ Jesus - rejoicing that we
have received abundant life - more life - eternal life - through
Christ Jesus.
