And we have known and believed the love that God hath to
us. GOD IS LOVE;
and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
1 John 4:16 |
Character is defined in the dictionary as
one of the attributes or features that make up and distinguish an individual.
The nature of someone is defined in the dictionary as the
inherent character or basic constitution of a person.
The character of God is revealed in His Holy Word
and through our personal relationship with Him through salvation.
God reveals Himself to us through Scripture and
through our daily walk with Him in the faith.
No one on this earth can define the character of
God, or all the attributes
of God, because His ways are past finding out.
God's ways are past finding out
The character of God or the attributes
or nature of God are
unsearchable and immeasurable.
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom
and knowledge of God!
how unsearchable are his judgments,
and his ways past
finding out! Romans 11:33 |
No man, no human being can fully understand God,
because man is NOT God.
But as man, we can understand God, to the fullness
of knowledge and wisdom that God gives each of His children.
For who hath known the mind of the Lord?
or
who hath been his counsellor?
Or who hath first given to him,
and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things:
to whom be glory for
ever. Amen. Romans 11:34-36 |
We are given a measure of
understanding and knowledge and wisdom by God through Jesus
Christ.
One purpose of God manifesting Himself in the
flesh as Jesus Christ, was to give the world knowledge of God Himself and establish a
personal relationship with ALL mankind of the world.
Character is a manmade word to describe
man. God is more than can be explained in terms of man, but since that's
all we have, we will look at some of God's characters.
We are told through the Holy Scriptures that
there are terrestrial beings and celestial beings. There are
earthly bodies and heavenly bodies. How can a terrestrial being begin
to understand a celestial being? Mankind is terrestrial, not
celestial. We were not made celestial, we were made terrestrial, with each
having their own glory in God.
There are also celestial bodies, and bodies
terrestrial:
but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is
another.
1 Corinthians 15:40 |
Beyond mortal words
Because God is the One True Living God Almighty,
limitless and boundless, I really do not like to use the word character
but that is all we have at this time.
God is not bound by man, or the words of man.
God has NO limitations, NO
beginning and NO end, how could anyone ever expect to describe the
indescribable.
No words on this earth can explain the
mystery and the wonder and the majesty of God.
Many people have described the character of God.
When we apply the word character to a person, we
generally say they have a upstanding character, they have a flawless
character, or they have a righteous character.
But we know that all men fail and fall short of who
they are at times, all people fail in their character at sometime in
their lives.
God is the only one who cannot fail and God is
the only one who cannot fall short of
anything. God is the only sinless, flawless, righteous, holy one.
No matter how many times we read through God's
word, even if you read the Holy Word of God through each year of your life, each
time is different and new. Each time we read the word of God, HE is
revealed to us in a different and new way. This is because God is living and His Word is living, and God's ways are past
finding out.
Reading the Word of God from beginning to end
once is never enough, because God is unsearchable, there is no end
to God. There is no figuring out God. There is no one
who knows all there is to know about God.
Mankind is given limited knowledge of the Lord
God. Mankind is given a measure of knowledge and wisdom from God,
revealing God to mankind. We are given a measure, a part of God, efficient
to sustain us, sufficient for us now, complete for our needs while we are here
on this earth.
One day all the glory of God will be revealed to
all of God's children, when we see all His glory and all His grace, face to
face, when we receive the inheritance of the promises of God, when we
receive the salvation of our souls, reserved for us in His Kingdom of Heaven.
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done
away.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
1 Corinthians 13:9-10, 12 |
I could spend all my life worshiping God and
studying His word and still only have a glimpse of God.
The part, the measure of grace and knowledge
given to me by my God is sufficient for me. The part that God gives me,
reveals to me through faith in His Son to salvation, is enough to complete me
here in this world. The part that God gives me of Himself through His
salvation is complete, because I could not handle any more while in my human
body. We must have our heavenly body, we must be transformed from earthly
to heavenly to handle all the glory of God. While we are in our earthly
bodies, we are given by God all we can bear. God knows exactly what we can
bear and what we cannot bear.
God is unsearchable, beyond finding out,
and the most
wonderful mystery.
I would seek unto God,
and unto God would I commit my cause:
Which doeth great things and unsearchable;
marvellous things without number: Job 5:8-9 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be
praised;
and his greatness is unsearchable.
Psalm 145:3 O the depth of the riches
both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
how unsearchable are his judgments,
and his ways past finding out!
Romans 11:33 |
When we become born again by the grace of God
through faith in God, we are transformed, renewed, changed, and
our spirit longs to become closer with God, and be with God.
The children of God have an innate overwhelming
desire to seek God, to know God, to be closer to
our Lord and Saviour.
The more we seek God, the more we want to seek
God. Our desire for God never ends, but grows stronger the closer we are
to God.
Trusting in God, seeking God, living in faith to
God increases every day when we place our trust in God, seek God, and live in faith to
God. The children of God live by faith to more faith, never ending.
Ephesians 3
We see countless changes throughout our little
lives. Children are born and friends and family die. People change
and grow; we change and grow. Our friends and family at times may
disappoint us or even hurt us and let us down.
The one constant the children of God can hold onto throughout their entire lives is God,
because God is changeless. God never fails.
When others let us down and leave us, we know for
a fact, God promises never to forsake us or leave us.
God is the LORD
Almighty and He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
For I am the LORD, I change not;
therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Malachi 3:6 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to
day, and for ever.
Hebrews 13:8 |
God is the mighty King, the same King of old,
King of today, King of the future, and the King eternal.
For God is my King of old, working salvation in the
midst of the earth. Psalm 74:12 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the
only wise God,
be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
1 Timothy 1:17 |
The one and only Mighty JEHOVAH LORD GOD is my King of
old, my King of today, my King tomorrow, and my King for eternity.
God is love and love is of God.
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is
of God;
and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
1 John 4:7-8 |
God is love.
God has more love for us than we know of with our small, limited,
mortal minds.
As
human beings we only know a fragment of love.
The love of God passes all
understanding.
And we have known and believed the love that
God hath to us. God is love;
and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in
God, and God in him. 1 John 4:16 |
As human beings, our capacity to love is limited.
We have selfish love, "I'll love you, if you love me". If you
do this and that, maybe I will love you, but if you do this other thing, I will
not love you.
Generally, we love those people who love us
first.
The scriptures tell us that we love God
because He first loved us. God is first above all things. There
was nothing before God. God is love and His love was before we
were created.
We love him, because he first loved us.
1 John 4:19 |
The way we love is not the way God loves us.
The way human beings love is NOT the way that love is with God. God
loves unconditionally.
God loved us first. God loved us first, even though we
were willfully sinning against Him, while we were hurting Him through our sin.
God's love for us is not based on our love
for Him. It doesn't matter if we don't love God, because He loves us
anyway.
Here's what love is, not that we
loved God, but that He loved us. And loved us with
all our flaws and with all our sins.
Herein is love, not that we loved God,
but
that he loved us,
and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
1 John 4:10 |
Many people love conditionally. We expect
a certain standard from the people we love and those we marry. We
love conditionally, "if you stay this certain way, I will love you, but
if you change and do this, I will take my love away from you".
Everyone knows of someone who is divorced today.
God loves us unconditionally. God's
love for us is NOT dependent on our love for Him. God loved us first,
before we loved Him.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in
that,
while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8 |
Sinners, that's us, who lied, who hated,
who blasphemed God, who worshipped other gods, who did wicked sinful things, who
live for ourselves, that's who God loved and still loves.
In that, while we were still sinners, Christ
died for us. Romans 5:8
Even though we were sinners, even though
we didn't change for God, He loved us anyway. And God loved us so
much that He gave us a way to be with Him, through faith in His only begotten
Son to salvation.
The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). The end
of living a life of sin is eternal death, separation away from God for all
eternity, no hope of ever being with God.
Sinners without
God will die without God, but God loved us "sinners" so much that He
gave
us a way to be with Him for eternity.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God
is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 |
Jesus died to make a way for all
sinners to be cleansed and washed clean, so that we could be with God, so that
we would not perish, but that we could receive eternal life, life everlasting
and inherit the Kingdom of God (John 3:15-16).
Looking past all our sins, giving the ultimate
sacrifice for our sins, so that we would not perish, but receive everlasting
life, this is the love of God, who is a most merciful God.
God is love
He that loveth not
knoweth not God;
for God is love. 1 John 4:8 And
we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God,
and God in him. 1 John 4:16 |
God is love. There is no love without God.
Love comes from God alone. Any fragment of love that you may possess comes
from God alone.
We know only a fraction of what love
really is, in our mortal human bodies in this wicked, sinful world.
We will see
true love, pure love one day, without any human limitations, when we see
our LORD God. How wonderful
and glorious that day will be!
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me,
and every tongue shall confess to God.
Romans 14:11 Behold, he cometh with clouds;
and every eye shall see him,
and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.
Even so, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending,
saith the Lord,
which is, and which was, and which is to come,
the Almighty.
Revelation 1:7-8 |
God didn't create love, God is love.
Love is the essence of God, the nature of God, the heart of God,
God is love.
Without love
we cannot know God. Without living in love, showing love,
giving love, sharing love, we
cannot know God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is
love.
1 John 4:8 |
Love is holy, love is sacred, love is pure, love is precious, love is real.
We must love on purpose, we must be committed to love, God's love.
First, we love the Lord our God with all our heart, with
all our soul, and with all our might.
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord
thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
Matthew 22:37-38
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all
thy heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy
strength:
this is the first commandment.
Mark 12:30
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the
Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy
strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
Luke 10:27
O love the LORD, all ye his saints:
for the
LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.
Psalm 31:23
The LORD preserveth all them that love him:
but all the wicked will he destroy.
Psalm 145:20
I love them that love me; and those that seek
me early shall find me.
Proverbs 8:17
|
Second, we love one another. When we love God with
all our heart and commit ourselves to obey His word and follow Christ, we can
love one another, as God commands.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt
love thy neighbour as thyself.
Matthew 22:39
And the second is like, namely this, Thou
shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
There is none other commandment greater
than these.
Mark 12:31
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless
them that curse you,
do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which
despitefully use you, and persecute you;
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven:
for he maketh his
sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the
unjust.
Matthew 5:44-45
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying
the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren,
see that ye
love one another with a pure heart fervently:
1 Peter 1:22
Honour thy father and thy mother: and,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Matthew 19:19
But love ye your enemies, and do good, and
lend, hoping for nothing again;
and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be
the children of the Highest:
for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
Luke 6:35
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye
love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to
another.
John 13:34-35
This is my commandment, That ye love one
another, as I have loved you.
John 15:12
These things I command you, that ye love one
another.
John 15:17
And this commandment have we from him, That he
who loveth God love his brother also.
1 John 4:21
|
ALL people who do NOT love, do NOT know God.
If a man say, I love God, and hateth his
brother, he is a liar:
for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how
can he love God whom he hath not seen? 1 John 4:20 |
It is a fact that all people do NOT love God and all people do
NOT love one another. Those
without love
are lost people without God.
In this the children of God are manifest,
and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God,
neither he that loveth not his brother.
1 John 3:10 |
The will of God is that ALL people obtain
salvation through love and truth.
Oh, How I love Jesus! If we
love God the Father, we love His Son. The word of God reads that no one can love
God the Father, without
loving His Son, Jesus Christ, God the Son.
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the
Christ
is born of God:
and every one that loveth him that begat
loveth him also that is begotten of him.
By this we know that we love the children of God,
when we love God, and keep his commandments. 1 John 5:1-2 |

GOD is love
God is absolute, possessing supreme authority
- sovereign.
We live and move under the loving care of a sovereign God.
God is absolute in that He is complete in
Himself, existing independently of any other. God is dependent
upon no other.
God alone possesses absolute sovereignty. Absolute
sovereignty belongs only to God.
God is Over All
God reigns over all His creation. God is ruler over all.
God owns all things, everything that we know about, all we can see and all we
cannot see belongs to God alone.
Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the
glory, and the victory, and the majesty:
for all that is in the heaven and in
the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.
Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all;
and in
thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to
give strength unto all.
1 Chronicles 29:11-12
And said, O LORD God of our fathers, art not thou
God in heaven?
and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the
heathen?
and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to
withstand thee?
2 Chronicles 20:6
For the LORD most high is terrible;
he is a great King over all the earth.
Psalm 47:2
For God is the King of all the earth:
sing ye praises
with understanding.

That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH,
art the most high over all the earth.

The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens;
and his kingdom ruleth over all.
Psalm 103:19
And the LORD shall be king over all the earth:
in
that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
Zechariah 14:9
Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh
Christ came, who is over all,
God blessed for ever. Amen. Romans 9:5
For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek:
for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
Romans 10:12
|
Only the one true living God is the Most High over all things.
God is the absolute judge.
And the heavens shall declare his righteousness:
for God
is judge himself. Selah. Psalm 50:6 But God is the judge:
he putteth down one, and setteth
up another. Psalm 75:7 |
God is great.
Behold, God is great,
and we know him not,
neither can
the number of his years be searched out. Job 36:26 |
God is in all things.
For what nation is there so great,
who hath God so nigh unto
them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?
Deuteronomy 4:7 And he is the head of the body, the church:
who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead;
that in all things he might
have the preeminence. Colossians 1:18 |
God holds the keys to Heaven and hell.
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead.
And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me,
Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen;
and have the keys of hell and of death.
Revelation 1:17-18 |
God manifest Himself in the flesh
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh,
justified in the Spirit, seen of angels,
preached unto the Gentiles,
believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins;
and in him is no sin. 1 John 3:5 He that committeth sin is of the devil;
for the devil sinneth from the beginning.
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested,
that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8 And the Word was made flesh,
and dwelt among us,
(and we beheld his glory,
the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth. John 1:14 The first man is of the earth, earthy:
the second man is the Lord from heaven.
1 Corinthians 15:47 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels,
preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
1 Timothy 3:16 |
God holds life and eternal life in His hands.
For the wages of sin is death;
but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:23
In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him;
and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
John 1:1-4
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:15-17
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life:
and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life;
but the wrath of God abideth on him.
John 3:36
For the bread of God is he which cometh down from
heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life:
he that cometh to me
shall never hunger;
and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
John 6:33-35
Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
John 6:47
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and
the life:
he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
John 11:25
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth,
and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:6
|
God laid down His life for us
so
we might live.
Hereby perceive we the love of God,
because he laid down his life for us:
and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 1 John 3:16 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live;
yet not I,
but Christ liveth in me:
and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by
the faith of the Son of God,
who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20 Therefore doth my Father love me,
because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
John 10:17 |
God raised Christ from the dead. Jesus Christ
raised Himself from His grave.
Only God can raise the dead.
For as the Father raiseth up the dead,
and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
John 5:21 |
Jesus sacrificed His life willingly, so that we might be
saved. Jesus willingly laid down His life and Jesus took it up again.
Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself.
I have power to lay it
down, and I have power to take it again.
This commandment have I received of
my Father.
John 10:17-18
And this is the will of him that sent me,
that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life:
and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6:40
And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise
up us by his own power.
1 Corinthians 6:14
To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty,
dominion and power, both now and for ever. Amen.
Jude 1:25
|
God holds the gift of salvation from sin and
death.
Though he were a Son,
yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation
unto all them that obey him;
Hebrews 5:8-9
Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes,
that they may also obtain the salvation
which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
2 Timothy 2:10
Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
2 Corinthians 9:15
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 2:8
|
God is the sovereign judge.
Be not deceived; God
is not mocked:
for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Galatians 6:7 |
God promises to everyone,
that whatever we sow, we will
reap. If we sow unrighteousness, then we will reap corruption and death.
If we sow righteousness, then we will reap eternal life.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap
corruption;
but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Galatians 6:8 |
If we live in sin, do
unrighteousness, then we will receive eternal death and eternal separation from
God. If we live and follow God, live in righteousness, live in faith to
Jesus, then we will receive eternal life, eternity with God in His Kingdom.
For the wages of sin is death;
but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:23 |
Do NOT be deceived, the end
of sin is death, only by living in faith to God through righteousness by faith
in Christ Jesus will you receive the salvation of your soul when you die, and
pass from this life in this world to God in Heaven.
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the
resurrection of life;
and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of
damnation. John 5:29 For the wages of sin is death;
but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:23 |
What you do on this world is carried over into the next, and
if you life for sin, if you live for the temporal pleasures of sin in this
world, you will not receive the reward of the righteous in the next world.
Who you follow on this world, is the same you will follow in the next world.
If you follow sin and the wicked ways of satan in this world,
then you will follow satan into the pits of hell in the next world.
If you follow righteousness and follow the ways of Christ
Jesus in this world, then you will be allowed to follow God into the next world.
Do NOT be deceived, who you serve in this world, is who
you will serve in the world to come, either darkness or Light, either satan or
God.
You alone are responsible for your eternal destination.
We will all receive an eternity, either with God or
without God, it is our choice alone, the choice we make while we
are alive here on this earth.
It doesn't matter who or what you call yourself in this
world, names and labels don't matter to God, because He looks right in your
heart, and He knows who are His own, and He also knows who are the devil's
children.
What you attach yourself to in this world, will be what you
are attached to in the next world.
If you attach yourself to sin, live in sin, live your own
selfish way, attached to unrighteousness, then you will be attached to
unrighteousness after you die (2 Peter 2:14-17). By choosing to live
in sin in this life, you forfeit living with God in the next.
If you attach yourself to Christ, receive the salvation of
God, follow Jesus and His righteousness, then you will still be attached to
Christ Jesus in Heaven (Colossians 3:24). By choosing the salvation of
God, accepting the way of Christ, living by faith to God in righteousness all
the days of your life, you will be granted entrance into the Kingdom of God, by
the blood of Jesus through faith in Him to salvation, and will be given eternal
life, permission to live with God for all eternity.
Do NOT be deceived, if you are attached to sin
on this earth, then you will NOT be attached to Jesus in Heaven.
God is able to supply all our needs, always
having sufficiency in all things.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you;
that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things,
may abound to every good
work: 2 Corinthians 9:8 |
God is enough.
We need nothing but God.
This then is the message which we have heard of him,
and
declare unto you, that God is light,
and in him is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,
and cometh down from the Father of lights,
with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
James 1:17 |
God is Light, not darkness (1 John 1:5).
God is the Father of lights, not the father of darkness (James
1:17). Jesus is the Light of the world (John 8:12).
What does that mean to us? No one alive on this
earth today has ever been without the Father of lights, we have never
existed on this earth, without the hope of God, without God in our world, but
there will be a large group of people who have and will experience an eternity
without any light, without the Light of God.
All people who die in their sins, the unbelieving, the
lost souls, who die in their sins, who die without God in their hearts, who die
before they receive the salvation of God through faith in Christ Jesus,
will enter into outer, utter darkness, and will remain without any hope
and without God in the blackness of total darkness for all eternity
(Jude 1:13; Revelation 21:8).
We have the Light of Life through salvation and by following
Jesus, but if we turn from God and walk in darkness we are none of His
(John 8:12; Romans 8:9).
Do NOT be deceived, all people without faith
in Christ Jesus to salvation, when they die, will NOT see God, will
NOT enter Heaven, will NOT spend eternity with God.
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life:
and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God
abideth on him.
John 3:36 |
God is ONE (Galatians 3:20).
If there is one character of God that is not
taught enough, it would be the fact that God is ONE.
This is an important foundational truth of God,
that we must know, believe, and write on the fleshly tables of our heart, God is ONE.
God is ONE is a different truth than the
truth that God is One God.
What does this mean to us? God is ONE.
It is very important for us to realize that God is ONE, as He as brought it to
our attention throughout His word.
God is ONE. Jesus said,
"I and my Father are ONE" (John 10:30), "we are ONE" (John 17:22).
The Holy Scriptures tell us all that the
Father, the Word (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost (Spirit), these three
are ONE (1 John 5:7). Do NOT be deceived, God said these three are
ONE, none else are ONE with God. The Word is Christ Jesus because the Word (Jesus)
was made flesh, and the only begotten of the Father is Jesus (John 1:14; 1
Timothy 3:16).
God is ONE, goes beyond the
fact that God is ONE God, we know this is true, but God wants us to understand Himself as
being all in all, come to the knowledge of the truth to the utmost fact that
God is ONE, that God is completely ONE, God is
sufficiently ONE, God is sovereignly ONE, God is independently
ONE, God is all together ONE, God is supremely ONE, God is
absolutely ONE, and that God is ONE all in all.
God is ONE, the all in all ONE,
who is far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every
name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come,
the fullness of GOD that filleth all in all (Ephesians 1:21,23).
We can be complete in God
(Colossians 2:10), not requiring any other one, not requiring anything more,
not lacking anything, not lacking any one, but sufficient in God, who is
ONE, who is enough, because God is ONE, the completely sufficient
ONE, fully ONE, totally ONE, all in all ONE.
God is self-existent, dependent on no one, because GOD
is ONE. Mankind is dependent on God, but God is dependent on no one.
The plan of salvation for mankind is NOT
dependent on man. God needs nothing from man to complete His salvation.
God is able and sufficient to save mankind all
by Himself. The salvation of man is not dependent on anything from
man, because we are saved by the Grace of God alone (Ephesians
2:5).
The works required to complete the plan of
salvation for mankind was completely finished by Christ Jesus on
His cross (John 19:30). Praise the LORD! No more works are required!
If we place conditions, our works,
additions, to the works of God for our salvation, then we do not have
complete faith in the Grace of God alone to save us, and therefore we
cannot be saved. You must believe that God is ONE, the ONE who saves you,
nothing more, nothing added, nothing lacking. God is able and sufficient
to save you without your works.
Believing in anything but God to save you
is not believing in God to save you. Believing in anything but the grace
of God to save you is unbelief. You must believe God alone can save
you in order for you to be saved. God alone saves everyone, nothing
more, nothing less. God saves all people the same, by His grace we are
saved (Ephesians 2:5, 8).
God says, "Look unto ME and be
saved, for I AM GOD and there is none else" (Isaiah 45:22).
God is ONE who saves, none else.
By adding things to God's salvation, you
have voided your faith. To receive the salvation of God, you must believe
in God alone to save you, nothing more and nothing less.
Unbelief is not believing in God alone to
save you.
There is only One God, none else.
This foundational truth of God eludes so many lost people of this world today.
There are not many ways to God, as this world
would like you to believe, because there is only one way to the One God.
The one way to God is faith in God that He is (Hebrews 11:6).
But without faith it is impossible to please
him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,
and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6 |
Faith in God is required by God in order
to receive His promises, because all people who come to God must believe that
He is.
Sounds simple enough, so why aren't all people
believers, why aren't all people saved?
The word of God gives several reasons why people
do not have faith in God that He is all who He claims to be in His word.
Reasons for not having faith in God are as many
as there are different people in this world.
-
Some people are lazy.
Many people are just too lazy to find out about God for themselves.
They would rather be told what to believe, have someone tell them
what to believe, than take the time to know God for themselves.
The occult and cults of today, would not be in existence if not for slothful
people.
-
Some people are deceived by a lie. We learn from Scriptures that satan is the father of lies, his main mission
is to turn people away from God, by any means. The devil is in
this world, seeking out people he can devour, destroy, deceive into
believing his putrid bag of lies. Some of the lies the devil uses to
turn people away from God is - "there is no God", "man is god",
"we are all
gods", "don't bother with God now, wait till you are older and have nothing
better to do", "you are having too much fun", "do the God thing later", "look
at this", "look at that", "let's do this sin and have tons of friends and
fun", "we came from the sea", "we evolved from apes", "there is
plenty of time to get right with God later", "don't worry about it".
I could go on and on, because the lies from satan are endless. The
problem with listening to even one of the devil's lies it that you don't
know when he will trick you into completely forgetting about God forever.
Remember, God does not promise to always call you back to Him. There
is a point where He will let you go.
-
Some people let sin and bitterness harden
their hearts. When we give into temptation, when we yield to temptation, then we
commit sin. When lust is conceived it becomes sin. All sin is
unrighteousness. All unrighteousness pushes out God in our lives.
God does not live in unrighteousness. If we fill our lives with sin,
unrighteousness, God has no place to live and He will not abide in any
person who lives in sin. Sin and bitterness harden our hearts. A hardened heart is not right
with God. The sin of unforgiveness and hate leads to bitterness and
hardness of heart. A hardened heart is a heart of unbelief.
All sin leads to unbelief. All sin leads to death.
-
Some people let the love of money keep
them apart from God. Surrendering all to God is required for salvation, you can't hold
nothing back from God. Many people let the love of money cloud their
minds of what is truly important in this life. The scriptures tell us
all that we brought nothing into this world and we will leave with nothing.
Nothing belongs to us. We are penniless when we come into this world
and we are penniless when we leave. Money is an illusion of power and
glory, because only God alone holds all the power and God alone holds all
the glory. There is no lasting power or lasting glory with money.
The things of this world are temporal, they will not exist in eternity.
We must hold onto and grow the things of God the things that will last
throughout eternity, our love and our faith in God.
-
Some people let family and life - cares of
this world - interfere with getting right with God. Too busy for God. I wonder how many times a day, God sees His
people too busy for Him. How utterly sad! The Mighty Creator God
of the universe has to wait in line for our affection and attention, behind
our careers, behind our family, behind our church activities, behind our
life, that was given to us by Him. We should beware of distractions, cares of this world, that take any of our
focus off of our Lord God. We should refocus our priorities, and place
God above and before all things in our lives. We must love God on
purpose. We must seek God on purpose, because God is our purpose and
our duty is to Him, not the things of this world. When you meet your Maker, who asks you what you did for Him on this earth,
will you say you were just too busy for Him? It is not too late to
change your life today, it is only too late after you die.
-
Some refuse to believe the truth, refuse to
believe the Word of God, refuse to believe in God for salvation.
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish;
because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2 Thessalonians 2:10
I am the LORD, there is NONE else.
God is the only true living God.
For thus said the LORD that created the heavens;
God himself that formed the earth and made it;
he hath established it, he created it not in vain,
he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

and according to thy might? Deuteronomy 3:24 |
God is mighty in strength and wisdom.
Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any:
he is
mighty in strength and wisdom. Job 36:5 |
God has Eternal Power
For this invisible things of him
from the creation of the world
are clearly seen,
being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal

God knows all things. God knows the end of
all things from the beginning.
God is eternal. Nothing was before
God. God has always been in existence. God is without
beginning and without end. God is the beginning and the end.
God did not create God, God is without
creation.
God is the only eternal. As the children of God,
we have received eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord
and Saviour, we have eternal life from now on, but we were NOT
eternal
before we received salvation. Human beings all have a starting
point, when we were first created. God was not created, God has no
starting point, He is the only eternal LORD God.
We were created by God, we had a beginning, a created
beginning, therefore we were not eternal before our creation. God
is eternal, having no beginning and no end; He is the only eternal
God.
The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are
the everlasting arms:
and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

|
God exists.
The existence of God does not require my belief
or your belief. God exists no matter what we believe.
We are dependent on God, but God is dependent
upon no one. God is NOT dependent on us.
God exists without us, but we
cannot exist
without
God.
Ye are my witnesses, saith the
LORD,
and my servant whom I have chosen:
that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I AM HE:
before me there was no God formed,
neither shall there be after me.
Isaiah 43:10 |
Faith in God is believing that God is God, that He is
all who He says that He is.
But without faith it is impossible to please him:
for he
that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6 |
God is before all things
God existed before. Before what?
God existed before any before, before anything, before ALL
THINGS. God has always been God.
God existed before anything existed.
God always was and always will be.
God always existed.
God has always been here and will always be here.
Everything we know of exists because of God, the
Creator of all things.
ALL THINGS, everything we know of exists because of
God.
And he is before all things, and by him
all things consist.
Colossians 1:17 |
All things consist by God, all things exist by God.
God is the beginning of all things
In the beginning God
created the heaven and the earth.
Genesis 1:1 |
God is the beginning of beginnings.
There was never a time when God did not exist.
God existed before the beginning.
In the beginning God.
If there were a beginning before all things, God
existed before that time.
God cannot be measured with human based time.
Time was created for man, by God. God does not need
time, man does. God is timeless, limitless, never ending, eternal.
From
the beginning of the world
Known unto God are all
his works
from the
beginning of the world.
Acts 15:18 |
Humankind was created by God for God. All
we know of personally is of this world, this universe. The earth and this
small universe is all
that man has seen.
God is past, present and future
God is all
Which
is
Which was and
Which is to come.
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending,
saith the LORD,
which is, and which was, and which is to come,
the Almighty. Revelation 1:8 |
God is our past, present and our future, to all
of us who have faith in Him.
God is Alpha
and Omega
And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
I will give unto him that is athirst of the
fountain of the water of life freely.
Revelation 21:6 Who hath wrought and
done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last, I am he.
Isaiah 41:4 |
The first of what? The last of what?
God is the first and last of ALL THINGS. God was before the beginning of
all things and God is after the end of all things.
Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD,
and my
servant whom I have chosen:
that ye may know and believe me, and understand that
I AM HE: before me there was no God formed,
neither shall there be after me.
Isaiah 43:10 |
God is goodness. Every thing that
is good comes from God above.
Oh how great is thy goodness,
which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee;
which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!

judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.

is the man that trusteth in him.

trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither
shadow of turning.
James 1:17
|
Therefore hath the LORD watched upon the evil,
and
brought it upon us:
for the LORD our God is righteous in all his works which he
doeth: for we obeyed not his voice. Daniel 9:14 The LORD is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works. Psalm 145:17 |
God is righteousness, there is no righteousness
apart from God.
The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and
holy in all his works.
Psalm 145:17
For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness;
his countenance doth behold the upright.
Psalm 11:7
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the
paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Psalm 23:3
Thy righteousness is an everlasting
righteousness, and thy law is the truth.
Psalm 119:142
In the way of righteousness is life; and in
the pathway thereof there is no death.
Proverbs 12:28
Even the righteousness of God which is by
faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no
difference:
Romans 3:22
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink;
but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of
men.
Romans 14:17-18
|
God is the fulness of joy.
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy
presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for
evermore.
Psalm 16:11 |
God rejoices over us with joy; God joys over us
with singing.
The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is
mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy;
he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
Zephaniah 3:17 |
All people are promised good tidings of great joy
(Luke 2:10).
For the Son of man's sake, even when we are
mistreated we can rejoice and leap for joy, because of the hope and reward of
salvation in Heaven to come (Luke 6:22-23; James 1:2). Our comfort, our
joy is not based on our circumstances but is based on our God (2 Corinthians
7:4).
The joy of God is not based on the events that
surround us today, here on this planet, but our joy in God is based on His
faithful promise of a better country in His Kingdom, a better life set before
us, of an everlasting life spent forever in His love.
God gives His joy to us now, we don't have to
wait until we are with Him in Heaven to be joyful (John 17:13). God gives
us comfort and joy through His promises in His word - that my joy might
remain in you now, and that your joy might be full now (John 15:11).
No man can take away the joy given to us by the
Lord (John 16:22).
God wants us to be filled with His joy, full of
joy, filled with joy, great joy, wondrous joy, overflowing joy, exceeding joy
(Acts 2:28; 13:52: 15:3; Romans 15:32; Colossians 1:11; 1 Peter 4:13; 1 John
1:4; Jude 1:24).
From start to finish, God wants our lives filled
overflowing with His joy (Acts 20:24), through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans
5:11).
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and
peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy
Ghost.
Romans 15:13 But let all those that put their trust in thee
rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let
them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
Psalm 5:11 |
We are to joyfully worship and joyfully
praise our Lord God (Psalm 42:4, 43:4) with a joyful voice and
joyful lips (Psalm 63:5) we make a joyful noise (Psalm 66:1; 81:1;
95:1-2; 98:4, 6; 100:1) and a joyful sound (Psalm 89:15), and sing for
joy (Psalm 67:4), give Him sacrifices of joy (Psalm 27:6), shout
for joy (Psalm 32:11, 27; 65:13; 132:9, 16), be joyful in the Lord
(Psalm 35:9). God makes us hear joy and gladness (Psalm 51:8), we are
restored to the joy of His salvation (Psalm 51:12), we are joyful in
glory of God (Psalm 149:5).
I will joy in the God of my salvation
(Habakkuk 3:18).
God gives His children His joy (Ecclesiastes
2:26), it is the gift of God (Ecclesiastes 3:13; 5:18). In whatever season
of life we are in God makes it possible for us to be joyful (Ecclesiastes 7:14),
and live joyfully (Ecclesiastes 9:9).
God is peace. God is the author of peace.
For God is not the author of confusion,
but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. 1 Corinthians 14:33 Now the God of peace, that brought again from
the dead our Lord Jesus,
that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of
the everlasting covenant,
Make you perfect in every good work to do his will,
working in you that which is
wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ;
to whom be glory for ever and
ever. Amen.
Hebrews 13:20-21 And the peace of God, which passeth all
understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:7 |
Give Peace
Only God is peace and only God can give anyone peace.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and
the government shall be upon his shoulder:
and his name shall be called
Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of
Peace. Isaiah 9:6 |
Jesus our Lord God guides our feet into the way of peace.
To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the
shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
Luke 1:79 |
He that overcame the world, Jesus gives peace.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you:
not as the world giveth, give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might
have peace.
In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have
overcome the world. John 16:33 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel,
preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) Acts 10:36 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ: Romans 5:1 Great peace have they which love thy law:
and nothing shall offend them. Psalm 119:165 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the
LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Jeremiah 29:11 |
God is peace and will speak peace to His people.
I will hear what God the LORD will speak:
for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not
turn again to folly. Psalm 85:8 Blessed are the peacemakers:
for they shall be called the children of God. Matthew 5:9 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
Psalm 34:14 |
Only with God can anyone have peace. Without God there
is no peace.
There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.
Isaiah 48:22 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.
Isaiah 57:21 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with
God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Romans 5:1 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually
minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law
of God, neither indeed can be. Romans 8:6-7 |
The Kingdom of God is peace.
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but
righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of
men.
Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things
wherewith one may edify another. Romans 14:17-19 |
The peace of God passes all understanding and keeps our hearts
and minds and will us with all peace.
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in
believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Romans 15:13 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts
and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called
in one body; and be ye thankful. Colossians 3:15 |
God is the God of peace.
Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen. Romans 15:33
And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your
feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. Romans 16:20
Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and
heard, and seen in me, do:
and the God of peace shall be with you. Philippians 4:9
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly;
and I
pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the
coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:23
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the
dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the
everlasting covenant, Hebrews 13:20
|
Peace is the fruit of the Spirit of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy,
peace,
longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Galatians 5:22 |
Christ Jesus is our peace and is the Maker of peace
and came in peace and He preached peace and gives us peace.
But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are
made nigh by the blood of Christ.
For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the
middle wall of partition between us;
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained
in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain
the enmity thereby:
And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that
were nigh.
Ephesians 2:13-17 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross,
by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be
things in earth, or things in heaven.
Colossians 1:20 Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always
by all means. The Lord be with you all.
2 Thessalonians 3:16 |
We should thank God every day for being
longsuffering toward us. We do not deserve the grace and mercy of God.
God gives us everything. God is longsuffering toward us, even when we fail
Him.
And the LORD passed by before him, and
proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness
and truth,
Exodus 34:6 But thou, O Lord, art a God full of
compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
Psalm 86:15 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise,
as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but
that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 |
Thank you Lord for being longsuffering toward
me today and every day. I love you and thank you for all your gifts.
The dictionary defines holy as exalted or worthy
of complete devotion as one perfect in goodness and righteousness; divine.
Holiness has lost its meaning in the world today.
It seems as no one cares to be holy or even knows what it looks like.
As children of God we are to be holy because our
Lord God
is Holy.
The world should see the holiness of God in us. We must live
holy and righteous so the world will want what we have in Christ Jesus.
For I am the LORD your God:
ye shall
therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy:
neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that
creepeth upon the earth. For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your
God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
Leviticus 11:44-45 Exalt ye the LORD our God,
and worship at his footstool;
for he is holy.
Psalm 99:5 Exalt the LORD our God,
and worship at his holy hill;
for the LORD our God is holy.
Psalm 99:9 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God,
and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
If any man defile the temple of God,
him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
1 Corinthians 3:16-17
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am
holy. 1 Peter 1:16
Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and
give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
Psalm 30:4
But now being made free from sin, and become
servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness,
and the end everlasting life.
Romans 6:22
Having therefore these promises, dearly
beloved,
let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit,
perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
2 Corinthians 7:1
For God hath not called us unto
uncleanness,
but unto holiness.
1 Thessalonians 4:7
Follow peace with all men,
and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Hebrews 12:14
|
As believers we must purposefully seek holiness,
we must perfect holiness in the fear of God.
God calls us to holiness. God calls us to
be holy.
God says that without holiness no person will see
the Lord, but being holy, being good does NOT save anyone. God says
over and over that we are NOT saved by works or anything we can ever do.
We are saved only by the grace of God
through faith in God. Faith in God is all that is required.
Works will never save anyone, being good will never save
anyone, being holy will never save anyone. Only God saves people.
No one saves themselves by being good, or being holy, or doing good works.
Holiness, being holy is because of
salvation, not to receive salvation. Living holy and maintaining good
works are the result of salvation.
God is holy. Today holy is a concept
many people don't even think about.
Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his
holy hill;
for the LORD our God is holy.
Psalm 99:9 |
A believer of Christ Jesus is the temple of God,
and being such, we are to be holy because God is Holy.
If any man defile the temple of God, him shall
God destroy;
for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
1 Corinthians 3:17 |
Only GOD is perfect.
As for God, his way is perfect; the word of
the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
2 Samuel 22:31 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of
the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
Psalm 18:30 |
What is the character of God?
Perfection. God is perfect, without any spots or
blemishes. God is blameless. God is righteous. God is true.
God is sinless. God is flawless. God is timeless. God is
endless. God will exist forever. God is love. God is eternal.
No man is perfect. We will not be
perfected until the return of Lord Jesus Christ. No man can be perfect
while living in a mortal fleshly body and in this sinful corrupt world.
As believers, we are
made perfect through Christ Jesus. I am not perfect, but
through
faith in Jesus, through belief in Christ I am made worthy to be called a child
of God. We are perfected through Christ Jesus.
Alone no one is perfect, only through Christ are we
made perfect to God the Father.
We receive salvation by the grace of God
through Christ and we are made perfect through
Christ.
When God created man, man was perfect in the eyes
of God, until man
sinned against God.
Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day
that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
Ezekiel 28:15 |
The only way to be perfect is to put on
Christ Jesus, through belief in Jesus we can put on perfection, and be seen
worthy in the sight of God.
God commands us to be perfect.
Be ye therefore perfect,
even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Matthew 5:48 |
How can we be perfect?
By surrendering all to Christ Jesus, totally believing in Jesus and committing
all our life to following Him.
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect,
go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure
in heaven: and come and follow me.
Matthew 19:21 |
If we are NOT willing to surrender all of our
life to Christ Jesus, then we cannot be made perfect through Christ.
When we surrender all to Jesus and accept Him as
our personal Lord and Saviour over all of our life, believe in Him to save us,
He will make us whole and perfect in Him.
The disciple is not above his master:
but
every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
Luke 6:40 |
We are made perfect through Christ,
by abiding in Jesus and He abiding in us.
That they all may be one;
as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee,
that they also may be one in us:
that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them;
that they may be one, even as we are one:
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the
world may know that thou hast sent me,
and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
John 17:21-23 |
We are made perfect through Jesus, because He
lives in us and God the Father lives in the Son, "I in them, and thou in me".
As long as we are living on this sinful earth, we
are not perfect, we are made perfect through Christ Jesus. When the
saved in Christ die, or when Christ returns, whichever happens first, we will
become perfect like Christ Jesus. We will not be attached to this sinful
world any more. We will not be attached to our corrupt, fleshly bodies.
When Christ returns, Jesus who is perfect
will make us completely perfect. Our corrupt part, our fleshly bodies will
be done away and we will receive our heavenly bodies, incorruptible bodies
that are perfect and able to enter the gates to the Kingdom of God.
But when that which is perfect is come,
then that which is in part shall be done away.
1 Corinthians 13:10 |
Only God is perfect, we are only made perfect
through Christ
Jesus. No one is made perfect without Jesus Christ.
Christ is perfect and the author of eternal salvation to all who
obey Him.
And being made perfect, he became the author
of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
Hebrews 5:9 |
We are saved by the grace of God
through faith in Christ Jesus as Lord, and not of works. Obeying God
is not works. We obey God because of salvation, not to gain it.
Obedience is a result of genuine salvation.
Through the death sacrifice of Jesus, for
our sins, and His resurrection to life, He gave us eternal life. By the
offering of one, God perfected us forever through Christ Jesus.
For by one offering
he hath perfected for ever
them that are sanctified.
Hebrews 10:14 |
Christ died once and for all the sins of
all the world and by His one offering he has perfected forever the sanctified,
the believers, the elect, the saints of God, the children of God.
One offering, one sacrifice, one crucifixion, one
death, one resurrection, one Christ Jesus, one Lord and Saviour for all the
world, never to be done again, once and for all time.
One offering was all God the Father required for
the sins of this world, for all the people of this world. One sinless,
holy sacrifice, for all.
Jesus Christ will never die again for the sins of
this world again, one perfect offering was enough, it was finished,
all the sacrifice for all the world for all the rest of time was fulfilled with
one, it was finished with Christ Jesus.
Nothing we can do in the flesh, no acts, no works
of ourselves can make us perfect, worthy in the eyes of God.
Only through Jesus Christ are we made perfect.
No man, by himself, can make himself perfect enough for God.
Now the God of peace,
that brought again from
the dead our Lord Jesus,
that great shepherd of the sheep,
through the blood of
the everlasting covenant,
Make you perfect in every good work to do his will,
working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight,
through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and
ever. Amen.
Hebrews 13:20-21 |
Only God is truth.
God is truth, the God of truth. Just and right is He, a God of truth and a God
without iniquity.
He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all
his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is
he.
Deuteronomy 32:4 |
God is true and God is unwavering
truth, never changing truth. God never told a lie and will never tell a
lie.
In hope of eternal life, which God, that
cannot lie, promised before the world began;
Titus 1:2 He that hath received his testimony
hath set
to his seal that God is true.
John 3:33 |
If we have the truth
in us, then God is in us, the truth is Jesus Christ our Lord.
Jesus saith unto him,
I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:6 And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest;
and
so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you
of a truth.
1 Corinthians 14:25 |
The saved are in Him that is true, Christ Jesus,
the true God and eternal life.
And we know that the Son of God is come,
and
hath given us an understanding,
that we may know him that is true,
and we are in
him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ.
This is the true God, and
eternal life.
1 John 5:20 |
Truth is not an option with God. God is
always true and eternally abides in truth. There is no wavering in truth
with God.
God cannot lie
In hope of eternal life, which God, that
cannot lie,
promised before the world began;
Titus 1:2 |
Eternal life was promised before the world
began. From the creation of the first man, first human being, it has been
God's will for man to have eternal life and be with Him, God in His
Kingdom, the Kingdom of Heaven.
The first estate of man was eternal life.
Man was created to possess eternal life.
Man gave up his inheritance to
everlasting life, when he purposefully sinned against God. Man choose to
listen to the lies of the devil, by believing in the devil, man fell into
unbelief in God, man believed the devil over God, sinned against
God.
Separation from God is unbelief in God.
Unless we have faith in God, we will not see God in our eternity. Unbelief
in God separates anyone from God for eternity.
It is not God's will that any of His creation,
any person, perish and die in sin.
For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 |
God of truth and without sin
He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all
his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is
he.
Deuteronomy 32:4 |
God is the Rock, the word of God is perfect, God
is a God of truth without iniquity, without sin, God is just and right.
God has no sin. God has never had sin.
God will never have sin. God will not and cannot sin. God is
eternally apart from sin. God is separated from sin forever. This is
why it is so important for us to remove ourselves from sin, because unless we do
we cannot be with God now and in the world to come.
God is sinless and flawless and righteous
and blameless and holy.
And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins;
and in him is no sin.
1 John 3:5 |
God will not sin. God cannot even be
tempted
by sin, neither can God tempt any man with sin.
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am
tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil,
neither tempteth he any
man:
James 1:13 |
You may say, "but God was tempted in the
wilderness by satan", this is not true. Satan tried to tempt
Jesus, but Jesus never gave in to temptation, Jesus did NOT yield to
temptation.
Satan tried to tempt Jesus, but was
never successful.
Temptation is not the sin, but yielding
to temptation is sin.
Knowing about pornography is not sin, but
participating in the sinful activity is sin, watching it, creating it, viewing
pornography is sin.
God says watching sin is sin.
Do NOT be deceived.
Knowing about witchcraft is not sin, but
participating in witchcraft is sin, and viewing witchcraft is
participating and is sin.
A person being raped is not the sinner, the
victim of rape is not the sinner because they did not have a choice in the
matter, it was beyond their control; but the rapist, the one doing the sinful act
of rape commits sin against God, the rapist has sinned, and watching rape is sin whether or not you participated in
it, because God said viewing sin is sin.
For more information see - SIN
Without God's mercy we would remain alienated
from Him forever. Because of God's mercy we are able to be reconciled to
Him, forgiven by Him, loved by Him and saved by Him.
Everything we have is by the grace and mercy of
our loving God. The mercies of God are countless, endless. Mercy is
given to us, without earning it, without deserving it.
It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not
consumed, because his compassions fail not.
Lamentations 3:22
When thou art in tribulation, and all these
things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy
God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;
(For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;)
he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee,
nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them. Deuteronomy 4:30-31
For if ye turn again unto the LORD,
your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them
captive,
so that they shall come again into this land:
for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful,
and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.
2 Chronicles 30:9
The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow
to anger, and plenteous in mercy. Psalm 103:8
Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea,
our God is merciful. Psalm 116:5
For his merciful kindness is great toward
us:
and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever.
Praise ye the LORD. Psalm 117:2
Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father
also is merciful.
Luke 6:36

Great is His faithfulness. God is faithful and just and delivers all
promises made.
They are new every morning: great is thy
faithfulness.
Lamentations 3:23
God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto
the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Corinthians 1:9
There hath no temptation taken you but such as
is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted
above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape,
that ye may be able to bear it.
1 Corinthians 10:13
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish
you, and keep you from evil. 2 Thessalonians 3:3
Wherefore let them that suffer according to
the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing,
as unto
a faithful Creator. 1 Peter 4:19
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and
just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith
without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrews 10:23

All God's promises are eternal. God promises eternal life to those who believe in His
Son, Jesus Christ the Lord.
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie,
promised before the world began;
Titus 1:2
And this is the promise that he hath promised us,
even eternal life.
1 John 2:25
And this is the record,
that God hath given to us eternal life,
and this life is in his Son.
He that hath the Son hath life;
and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
These things have I written unto you that
believe on the name of the Son of God;
that ye may know that ye have eternal life,
and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
1 John 5:11-13
And we know that the Son of God is come,
and hath given us an understanding,
that we may know him that is true,
and we are in him that is true,
even in his Son Jesus Christ.
This is the true God, and eternal life.
1 John 5:20
|
Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them
take counsel together:
who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told
it from that time?
have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a
just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth:
for I am God, and there is none else.
Isaiah 45:21-22 |
God is a just God because He is not prejudice and no respecter of persons.
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said,
Of a truth I
perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
Acts 10:34 |
God is our Father, our protector, our refuge, our
strength, our comfort, our shield and our defender.
God desires to be our Father, who we go to for
love and affection. God is our protector and desires to defend us, help
us, and comfort us in time of need. God is our Father who enjoys
seeing our joy and happiness. God is our Father who wants to hear from us
daily, wants to be told our thoughts and dreams, and who wants our love.
God is Father of my salvation, Father of mercies,
Father of Glory and Father of all. God is
Father of Light, gently and patiently guiding us to His Kingdom.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is

called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The
Prince of Peace.

After this manner therefore pray

not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man
against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers? Malachi
2:10
And call no man your father upon
the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
Matthew 23:9
One God and Father of all, who is above
all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4:6

God is our refuge
The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the
everlasting arms:
and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall
say, Destroy them. Deuteronomy 33:27
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah. Psalm 62:8
But the LORD is my defence;
and my God is the rock of my
refuge.

the Lord is with them that
uphold my soul. Psalm 54:4

for God
is my defence.

and unto GOD
the Lord belong the issues from death.

for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song;

God is good
Truly God is good to Israel,
even to
such as are of a clean heart.
Psalm 73:1 |
God is a sun and shield
For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the
LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from
them that walk uprightly.
Psalm 84:11 |
God is the LORD
God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light:
bind the
sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
Psalm 118:27 |
Only God is purely selfless. GOD came down
from glory, put on flesh, died for our sins, made a way for us to be with Him
forever. God laid down His life for us, for all mankind so that we would
not have to die in our sins, but could be set free from all sin and death.
There is no greater love than to give one's life for another.
God died for our sins, so we could live.
We worship the only one true living God because through His
sacrifice, He gave us eternal life. Even though we did not deserve it, He
gave the ultimate sacrifice so we might live with Him, in His kingdom for
eternity.
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down
his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
1 John 3:16
Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but
to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Matthew 20:28
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the
world through him might be saved.
John 3:15-17
I am the good shepherd:
the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
John 10:11
And this is the record, that God hath given to us
eternal life,
and this life is in his Son.
He that hath the Son hath life;
and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God;
that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name
of the Son of God. 1 John 5:11-13
|
God holds life in His hands. God is the giver of all
life. No one has life without God. From our life at birth to our
eternal life after salvation - God gives all life. There is no life
without God.
No one lives without God, because God is life. God
breathes life into every living thing. Eternal life is given through faith
in God, Jesus Christ, to salvation.
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the
only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
John 17:3
And this is the record,
that God hath given to us eternal life,
and this life is in his Son.
He that hath the Son hath life;
and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God;
that ye may know that ye have eternal life,
and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5:11-13
And we know that the Son of God is come,
and hath given us an understanding,
that we may know him that is true,
and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. 1 John 5:20
|
Eternal life is the true God Jesus Christ.
Only God can forgive sins. God is promises to
forgive all who come to Him as ask for His forgiveness.
No one else in this world can forgive people of their sins,
only God can forgive anyone of their sins.
Only the Creator can forgive the creation, no one else
is worthy.
No human being on this earth, no pastor, no bishop, no
teacher, no preacher, no priest, no leader, no religion, no association, no
government, no president, no religious leader, no one can forgive anyone's sin,
except the Lord God Almighty.
If anyone tells you that they can forgive your sins they are a
liar, a false prophet, a false person.
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of
the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same
sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on
the right hand of God; Hebrews 10:10-12 |
Jesus Christ was the one sacrifice for sin - once for all
- the
offering for sin for ever. The word of God reads that no human priest can
never take away sins.
Our sins are removed by the blood of Jesus, His sacrifice was
once and for all people, for all time, for anyone who believes in Jesus and
places their faith in God.
Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that
put their trust in him. Proverbs 30:5
And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself,
even as he is pure.
1 John 3:3
|
He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal
that God is true.
John 3:33
But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and
nay. 2 Corinthians 1:18
And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us
an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that
is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal
life.
1 John 5:20
|
God is love. God's love is limitless, never
ending, eternal.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor
life, nor angels,
nor principalities, nor powers,
nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39 |
We cannot reach the limits to God's love.
There are no boundaries to God's love, we cannot step outside of God's love, if
we trust in God and walk the path that He has chosen for us.
How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O
God!
how great is the sum of them!
If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand:
when I awake, I
am still with thee.
Psalm 139:17-18 |
God loves us so much that He thinks about
us all day and all night. The number of His thoughts of us are more in number
than the sand!!
More than the number of the sand!
Incredible! We can't even begin to think that many thoughts, but God
can, and He does, and about US!
When we wake up in the morning, GOD is
thinking about US!! How wonderful is that!
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad
in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Romans 5:5 |
God loved us first.
Before we were God loved us because
God loved us first. We love God because He first loved us.
We love him, because he first loved us.
1 John 4:19 |
God wants our love. God loves us all. God wants us to love Him.

The LORD our God is a merciful God. Mercy is underserved
compassion and love. We are not worthy of God's love and mercy.
Nothing we could ever do, could make us worthy for God.
(For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;)
he will not
forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which
he sware unto them.
Deuteronomy 4:31 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous;
yea, our God is

Psalm 116:5 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to

Deuteronomy 7:9 |
God of Truth and without sin
Because I will publish the name of the LORD:
ascribe ye
greatness unto our God.
He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a
God of
truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
Deuteronomy 32:3-4
The just LORD is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity:
every morning doth he bring his judgment to light,
he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.
Zephaniah 3:5
Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me,
O
LORD God of truth.
Psalm 31:5
Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy
lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
Psalm 40:11
For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and
his truth
endureth to all generations.
Psalm 100:5
For his merciful kindness is great toward us:
and the truth of
the LORD endureth for ever.
Praise ye the LORD. Psalm 117:2
But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion,
and gracious,
longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. Psalm 86:15

Truth is very rare and hard to find in the world
today.
Everyone doesn't lie. Who lies?
The devil and the devil's children. People who do NOT follow the will of
God.
The children of God are to be separate
from the world, we are not to follow the ways of the world, we are to follow the
ways of Christ.
One way to follow Christ is to obey God's
commandments, one of which is NOT TO LIE.
When we do NOT live in truth, do not abide in
truth, we separate ourselves from God. God will
never leave us, but we can leave God. God will never desert us or abandon
us, but we can abandon God. God will not force us to love Him. God
will not force us to obey Him.
Because God is truth, every lie that we tell
separates us from God.
Telling a lie is obeying the devil, NOT God.
Lying is a choice.
When we choose to lie, instead of telling the
truth, we decide NOT to obey God, and we decide to obey the devil.
When we choose to lie, instead of telling the
truth, we choose to serve the devil, instead of serving God.
When we choose to lie, instead of telling the
truth, we are willfully committing sin against God.
When we choose to lie, we know we are
breaking one of God's commandments, but we choose to lie anyway, in spite
of what God commands.
When we choose to lie, instead of telling the
truth, we choose to stand with satan, instead of standing with Christ Jesus.
Abiding in truth is standing with Christ.
There is no such thing as a 'little lie'
with God. God sees all lies the same, all lies are sin. A 'little
sin' is still sin in the eyes of God.
You may say, "but I tell the truth most
of the time, so it is okay". That's NOT what God says in His word.
Truth is of utmost importance to God, and it
should be most important to us also. Truth is never casual with
God. Truth and telling the truth is an extremely serious matter with God.
God sacrificed His only begotten Son, so the
world could have the truth given to them. This was the ultimate sacrifice
given by God for us.
We should never forget the price that
was paid so
that we could have the truth.
When we are tempted to lie, we should
remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross, the humiliation, the
pain, the sorrow, the blood that He shed for us, so that we could have the
truth.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth,
and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:6 |
Jesus is the truth. As a child of God, as a
follower of Christ, we should continually abide in the truth all the
days of our lives. We should have
nothing to do with lies, because Jesus, the truth, lives and dwells within
us.
There is no excuse, no reason that can validate
any lie, but there is a extremely good reason why we should tell the truth, and
that reason is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, our God.
As the children of God we should always live in truth,
because Jesus is the truth.
When we fell the urge to lie about something, we
must remember we are the temple of God, Christ dwells in us, and He is the
truth.
I cannot follow Christ, walk with Jesus, live
with God, if my life is full of lies. I must follow truth, walk in truth,
and live in truth.
No lie is worth the price that my Lord and
Saviour paid for the truth.
So why do we lie?
Since the beginning of time, in the Garden of Eden, satan has deceived
people to believe a lie, tell a lie, and live a lie, to leave the truth,
and to leave God.
We lie because we are influenced by satan.
The children of God should only be influenced
by Jesus.
By deceiving us to tell a lie, satan separates us
from God. The devil hates all humankind and his goal is to separate us
from God and destroy all who love the only true God.
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in
the truth;
1 Corinthians 13:6 |
With a loving God, a tender merciful caring Lord
and Saviour that we have, how can we not tell the truth in everything we do and
say.
Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth
with all your heart; for consider how great things he hath done for you.
1 Samuel 12:24 |
It is better, if we cannot say the truth,
to say nothing at all.
We must pray and ask God to lead us in truth.
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me:
for thou
art the God of my salvation;
on thee do I wait all the day.
Psalm 25:5 |
We must choose to walk in the truth, we
must choose the way of truth.
I have chosen the way of truth:
thy judgments have I laid before me.
Psalm 119:30 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
bind
them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
Proverbs 3:3 |
Are the words of God written on your heart?
Has the Spirit of God written on the fleshly tables of your heart?
Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be
the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the
Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshly tables of the
heart.
2 Corinthians 3:3 |
God is everywhere.
God is in the heavens and the earth. God is
inside the hearts of believers.
God is everywhere, and can be omnipresent because
HE is GOD.
God is NOT far from us
That they should seek the Lord, if haply they
might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your
own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
Acts 17:27-28 |
How comforting it is to know that my
God is never far from me, He constantly watches over me and is
there for me, to protect me and give me strength, to
lift me up when I fall down, to bring me pure happiness and
assuring comfort in the hope of my salvation.
God is in Heaven
But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. Psalm 115:3
Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty
to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven,
and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few. Ecclesiastes 5:2
The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD's
throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
Psalm 11:4
|
God dwells in believers.
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit,
if so be that
the Spirit of God dwell in you.
Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he
is none of his.
Romans 8:9 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God,
and that the Spirit of God
dwelleth in you?
1 Corinthians 3:16 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God,
God
dwelleth in him, and he in God.
1 John 4:15 |
God is with us.
Thou shalt not be affrighted at them: for the LORD thy
God is among you,
a mighty God and terrible.
Deuteronomy 7:21 |
God is everywhere.
The just LORD is in the midst thereof;
he will not do iniquity:
every morning doth he bring his judgment to light,
he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.
Zephaniah 3:5 |
God is in the light.
If we say that we have fellowship with him,
and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light,
we have fellowship one with another,
and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1 John 1:6,7 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth
his brother,
is in darkness even unto now.
1 John 2:9 |
God is sovereign, absolute, and supreme
authority.
God is absolute, sovereign because He alone is
eternal. Our God is forever and ever. God is the only one without
beginning and without end. Everything else was made by God, everything
exists because of God.
For this God is our God for ever and ever:
He will be our guide even unto death.
Psalm 48:14 |
God is sovereign because He is the only One True
Living LORD God Saviour Creator JEHOVAH, and beside Him there is no other.
I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no
Saviour.
Isaiah 43:11 |
God alone breathes life into every creature.
God alone gives salvation to mankind. God alone allows death in mankind.
God alone made a way past death to new life with Him in His Kingdom of Heaven,
which is eternal life.
God is a jealous God
Remember, God's ways are not our ways (Isaiah
55:8).
We should never compare the things of God with the
things of man. The jealousy in this world, of man, is NOT the same as
God being jealous. Man becomes jealous by yielding to the temptation of
sin, presented to him by satan, and by coveting what is not his, man
becomes jealous. God does not sin, cannot sin, will never sin. God's
jealousy is not from sin, nor caused by sin.
There is only One God. Man is NOT God. Man is NOT
the Creator of all things, God is the Creator of all things. The jealousy
of God should never be compared to the sinful jealousy of man. You must
not think of the things of God, in the terms of man.
The jealousy of God is a righteous jealousy, because God can
do nothing but righteousness. The jealousy of man is from sin within his
heart.
The jealousy of God is from His infinite love toward us.
God is love, and from that love burns a fire, a consuming jealous fire from God
to keep what is His (us). God created us and
God wants to keep us forever. God does not want to lose any of us
to darkness.
The love of God is what makes God a jealous God, and One who
does NOT want to share us with anyone or anything, not with the
world, not with darkness, not with sin, and especially not with satan.
God alone is perfect. God alone is righteous. God
alone has perfect love. God alone has perfect jealousy.
For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous
God.
Deuteronomy 4:24 |
We should all be thankful that we have such a jealous God, who
wants to keep us to Himself, who would go to any lengths to save us from death,
by even sending His only begotten Son, His choicest of Glory, to come to earth
to take our sins onto Himself, to bear our sins so that we might receive eternal
life and live and be kept by God forevermore.
(For the LORD thy God is a jealous God among you)
lest
the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee,
and destroy thee from off
the face of the earth.
Deuteronomy 6:15 God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD
revengeth, and is furious;
the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and
he reserveth wrath for his enemies.
Nahum 1:2 |
All things stolen from God will be set right in the end.
God is jealous and will revenge, He will set right all things for Himself and
for all His saints, and He will take vengeance on ALL His enemies, at the
appointed time.
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come
quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Revelation 22:20 |
The appointed time, the restoration of all things is coming
very soon, Jesus is coming soon, are you ready?
??? Not sure where to go from here?
May we suggest . . .
