The children of GOD

All who by faith in Christ Jesus receive the salvation of God are the children of God.

The children of Abraham are the children of God. All who come to God in faith to salvation are the children of Abraham (Galatians 3:7, 9). Although we are never to think that we are the children of God because of Abraham, for we are the children of God because of our faith in Christ Jesus (Galatians 4:14).

The children of the night and the children of darkness are NOT the children of God (1 Thessalonians 5:5)

The children of disobedience

The children of God obey God. All people who love God obey God (John 14:15, 23). The love of God changes everyone. When we come to God and ask for His salvation though our obedience to the faith, we receive the salvation of God and the power of Christ Jesus to obey and follow God. Our change, our turning from sin to walk in righteousness with Christ Jesus, our change to walk daily in faith for God, to follow His will above all else, is the greatest expression of our love for Him. God desires that we obey Him because we love Him, not because we think following some rules will get us into heaven, but because we love Him so much we can't image doing anything else.

The Word of God states that we all have a choice who we become, which is based on who we choose to serve. We become part of whomever we serve. The Scriptures tell us that we can have only one master. We either serve God or we serve another, no one can have two masters (Matthew 6:24; Luke 16:13).

We choose to be a child of GOD or we choose NOT to be a child of God, it is our choice alone, no one can make that choice for you, no one can do it for you, no one can force you be a child of God, is your choice alone.

Assurance

God assures His own who they are in Christ Jesus. No one has to guess if they are a child of God, because gives all His children His Spirit, the Holy Ghost to comfort us and assure us who we are, and assure us that we are the children of God.

Spirit to spirit - The Spirit of GOD Himself bears witness to our spirit that we are the children of GOD. Romans 8:16

Every person born of GOD is given the Spirit of GOD. The Holy Spirit guides us, comforts us and assures us that we are God's children, that we belong to God, that God loves us and we are His.

The Spirit of GOD confirms that we are the children of God to our spirit. The Holy Spirit communes with each and every spirit belonging to the children of GOD. Spirit to spirit, God's Spirit to our spirit.

The children of GOD are given assurance by the Spirit of God that we are the children of God. This assurance is forever.

Full assurance is given to all men who are of GOD (Acts 17:31; Colossians 2:2; 1 Thessalonians 1:5).

The children of God never need to doubt who they are because God promises to give them full assurance to the end of this life into the next life.

God gives all of His children assurance of who they are in Christ Jesus. If we live in doubt we are not living in the blessings of God. Fear and doubt comes from the enemy. You choose who you listen to. Choose to listen to God. God promises that we have the power to tell the enemy to depart and he must depart (James 4:7). Don't let the enemy steal one more day, one more minute, of your life away from God.

Tell the enemy that you know who you are. Tell the devil to depart from you. Tell the enemy that he is not welcome in your life anymore. Tell the enemy that you are a child of God; you will not listen to his lies and he cannot touch your life today or ever again.

Some people assume that since God creates all human beings then all people are automatically are the children of God. This would be true if God did not decide a long time ago to give us free will to choose Him.

The plan of God is that all mankind be given free will to choose Him. God created us out of love and because of the great love that God has toward us; God allows each of us to choose rather or not we want to be with Him. Love does not force affection, love gives affection.

The children of God are all people who choose God, who choose to believe that He is God and choose to believe all He says that He is, as it is written in His Word (Hebrews 11:6).

Everyone who comes to God for His salvation, His truth, does so by their free will, believing in God alone to save them from sin and death.

No one is born with the salvation of God because one must choose to accept all of God; this is the perfect plan of God.

God desires that all people accept Him and His free gift of salvation, but God forces no one to accept Him. Salvation, faith in God, believing in Christ Jesus is a choice set before every human being. God sets before everyone the choice of life and death, and God desires that we choose Him, that we choose life, His gift of eternal life (Deuteronomy 30:19).

The children of the devil are NOT the children of GOD.

The Word of God clearly states that all people are NOT the children of GOD, as in 1 John 3:10 the Holy Scriptures state that "whosoever does unrighteousness are the children of the devil".

God shows us the difference between the children of GOD and the children of the devil all throughout His Word.

That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. Romans 9:8

The children of God are born again. We are all born in a natural state of flesh and blood, the children of the flesh. The children of God who have chosen God through faith in Christ Jesus to salvation (Galatians 3:26), have been born again, born of the Spirit of God.

What separates the children of GOD from others?

Many things separate the children of God from all other people:

The children of God are of God
The children of God believe God is all who He says He is.
The children of God love God, have the love of God, and live in the love of God.
The children of God love on purpose, share the love of God to others, love their neighbor as themselves, and even love their enemies.
The children of God have answered the call of God to receive His gift of salvation.
The children of God have the ability to hear God's words, hear and understand His teachings found in His Holy Word.
The children of God live in righteousness, choose to remain separate from the sin and wickedness of this world, they live in the world but are not of the world.
The children of God fellowship with Jesus, abide in Christ, follow Christ, love Jesus.
The children of God live by faith every day.
The children of God believe in the promise of inheritance into the Kingdom of God.
The children of God seek out the things of God.
The children of God are praying, waiting, and watching for the return of the Lord, which can happen any day, which will happen very soon.

Of God

"Of God" separates the children of God from others.

The children of God are of God. Not all people are of God, not because God does not want them, but because they have chosen not to accept God.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4

We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 1 John 4:6

Believe in all God is

Believing God in all He says He is separates the children of God from others.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6

The love of God

The love of God separates the children of God from the rest of the world.

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. 1 John 3:18-19

The children of God have chosen to yield and submit to the call of God, to the call to salvation, the call of needing a Savior, the call of Jesus, the call of faith, the call of the love of God.

The whole purpose of mankind is love. God is love. We were created out of God's love. God created mankind and all things out of His love. Mankind is the product of the love of God. God loves us.

God desires us to be where He created us to be, which is with Him for all eternity. God wants to give us His love, but He forces no one to accept it. Accepting God is our choice alone.

To accept the love of God we must believe that He is all who He says that He is. By faith we accept the truth of God, by faith we accept the love of God, by faith we accept the free gift of eternal life, which is the salvation of God.

The children of God love God and have chosen to accept the love of God into their lives, by faith to salvation.

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26

The love of God separates the children of God from all others. This is not because God doesn't love everyone, because He in fact does love all people, but because people do not love Him. God forces no one to accept His love.

The love of God is a gift, freely given by God to all people, and any person who seeks God will find God (Jeremiah 29:13). God is not far from everyone of us (Acts 17:27).

The children of God answer the call of God.

God calls everyone to come to Him (Galatians 1:6; 2 Thessalonians 2:13, 14; 1 Peter 1:15, 2:9; 5:10).

Everyone in the world is called by God but few answer His call and come to Him.

God calls everyone to Him, but not all people come. God calls everyone to Him, but one must be willing to come to God.

God calls everyone to Him and many people choose to say no to God, they reject Him. Others tell God, "not now, later", or "next time", but God never promises that He will continue to call anyone.

All the children of God respond to the call of God. The children of God are called into the fellowship of Jesus Christ our Lord (1 Corinthians 1:9).

Say yes to God when He calls you. God never promises to call anyone indefinitely. This is why if you hear God call you, that you must respond today. Today if you hear His voice, harden not your hearts (Hebrews 3:7-8, 15; 4:7).

The ability to hear God's words

The ability to heart God's words and follow them separate the children of God from others.

The children of God hear God's words.

He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. John 8:47

Live in Righteousness

Righteousness separates the children of God from others.

In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. 1 John 3:10

Sin is unrighteousness. The children of God forsake, do not yield, turn from sin, run away from all sin.

The children have been awaken to sin by the Holy Spirit. The children of God know what sin is and stay away from it because it harms their spiritual walk with the Lord.

Fellowship with Jesus

Fellowship with Jesus separates the children of God from all others.

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9

The world may know of Jesus but only the children of God have fellowship with Jesus Christ.

The children of God belong to Him because of Christ Jesus. Only through Christ Jesus, believing in Jesus for salvation from sin and death, can anyone become the children of God (Galatians 3:26).

We are God's children because we are Christ's (1 Corinthians 3:23).

The children of GOD keep His commandments.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 1 John 5:2

The children of God love God above all else.

Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God ... Exodus 20:3-5

And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Deuteronomy 6:5

The children of God love and follow Christ.

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 1 John 5:1

The children of God love and obey God's Word.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 1 John 5:2-3

The children of God reverently fear God (Acts 13:26).

Faith

Faith separates the children of God from all others. Faith in God to salvation separates the children of God from all others.

The children of God have used their God-given faith to step out of darkness into the light. Every human being is given a measure of faith (Romans 12:3) to believe in God, but it is our choice alone whether or not to exercise that faith.

Inheritance

Inheritance separates the children of God from all others.

The children of God are all heirs to the Kingdom of God

When believers answer the call of God and accept His free gift of salvation we are adopted into the family of God and become co-heirs with Christ in God's Kingdom.

Seek the things of God

Eternal Life

Eternal life separates the children of God for all others. Eternal life is promised by God to all of His children. The children of God will never die, but pass from this life to life in the Kingdom of God, where we will be with our Lord God forevermore.

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:15

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? John 11:26

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 1 John 5:11-12

And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. 1 John 2:25

The children of God reflect their Father, the Father of Glory, the Father of mercies, the God of all comfort, the God of all grace, the God of love, the God of hope, the God of patience, who is love, who is kind and merciful, who is faithful, who is longsuffering, who is forgiving, compassionate, true, righteous and holy.

The children of God have the love of God and they show the world His love through themselves.

The children of God love. The children of God show God's love to all people no matter what the circumstances, no matter what is going on around them or to them.

The children of God are peacemakers. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Matthew 5:9

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 1 John 5:2

The children of God love their enemies. The children of God love not only each other but they love their enemies, and do good, lend hoping for nothing in return, kind to the unthankful and kind to the evil.

The children of God walk in the Light. The Lamb of God, Jesus is the Light of the world. The Light, Jesus, shines through the children of God into this dark world. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: Ephesians 5:8

Even today many people confuse religion with faith; they are not one in the same. Religion is not faith. Religion is manmade and faith is God made.

We are saved by the grace of God through faith in God, nothing else (Ephesians 2:8). Nothing can be added to the grace of God, as it is completely sufficient to save all of mankind.

Too many people give glory and power to their religion instead of God. Religion doesn't save anyone, religion is not the power of God, and religion should not be glorified. God alone is to receive all our glory and praise (2 Corinthians 10:17), never religion. Have faith in God (Mark 11:22), not religion. God alone holds all power, not religion.

God holds all power. God alone is worthy of all honor, glory, praise, worship, and power. No one is to receive glory in the presence of God except God (1 Corinthians 1:29).

Far too many religions abuse their God given talents and power and hinder the gospel.

The Word of God is clear, no human being is above another, no believer is better than another believer, the children of God are all equal in the eyes of God. God loves us all the same.

If one thinks that he is bigger, or better, or more righteous or holy than another, then he is deceived, for the Scriptures tell us God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34), none of us are greater than his brother.

The children of God are all the same, we are all servants of Christ Jesus. There is only one Head of the church (Ephesians 5:23; , one Head of the Body of Christ (Colossians 1:18), and He is our Lord and Savior (2 Peter 2:20), the Lamb of God (John 1:29, 36), Alpha and Omega (Revelation 1:8), the beginning and the end (Revelation 21:6), the first and the last (Revelation 1:11; 22:13), the Saviour of the world (John 4:42), the Son of God and man (1 John 5:13), Jesus the Christ (1 John 5:20).

The children of God are all people who are saved by God; the saved in Christ are the children of God.

The Scriptures tell us all that 'whosoever' believes in God - all who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Whosoever includes all nations, all races, all people of this world.

The salvation of God is freely given to all people who come to God and believe in Him.

Anyone who believes in God, believes that Jesus can save them from sin and death, can be saved and become part of the family of God, a child of God.

I love this question. As with every question concerning God and the things of God the answer is found in His Holy Word, the Holy Scriptures, the Holy Bible of God.

The number of the children of God are as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered.

Many times throughout the word of God when a number is too great for our limited human calculations the Scriptures point us to the stars or the sand of the sea, meaning it is not to be measured or numbered.

As the children of God we trust God and we have faith in God that what He wants us to know He tells us and what He doesn't want us to know exactly like we think we should is all for our benefit.

Once we realize and comprehend that the things of God are past finding out (Romans 11:33) we can put our mind at rest and place our trust and faith in God that what truly matters is that He knows.

The Scriptures tell us that all who choose not to believe in God will be separated from Him for all eternity. Jesus is coming again soon.

Your choice

Becoming a child of God is a choice each of us must make ourselves. No one can force you to become a child of God and no one can prevent you from becoming one either. It is a choice we make in our spirit, in our soul, and in our heart.

No Grandchildren

If we are a child of God our earthly children do not automatically become children of God.

Each person must make their own choice to come to God themselves (Romans 10:13). A parent cannot do it for them.

The gift of God, eternal salvation, is the operation of God gifted to anyone who comes to God. It is a personal gift exchange between God and that person.

Anyone can reject God

God does not force anyone to become His child. We all given free will by God to reject Him.

God is not willing for any to perish, but desires that all come to Him (2 Peter 3:9).

Not all people are of God

We are not all the children of God. Some people like to believe that everyone is a child of God by default, simply because they were born, but this is not what the Word of God states.

Many Scriptures throughout the word of God tell us who is and who is not the children of God.

The children of God obey God

The faithful of God are called His children because He is our Father. God is our Father and we are His children.

After we receive the gift of salvation, eternal life, by the grace of God through faith in Christ Jesus to salvation, we are all called the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:26), we become the sons and daughters of God (2 Corinthians 6:18).

Whether you are 10 or 110, if you have faith in God to salvation you are called the children of God.

God calls us His children because He is our Father. God calls us His children because that is who we are to Him.

The love of God is more than we will ever comprehend in this life. God loves us so much that He decided before the creation of this earth, before all creation, that He would be our Father and we would be His children.

The family dynamic is God created. God created family and this is why the enemy is so bent on destroying families any way he can.

Everything that God does for us is for our benefit. God gives us His love. God gives us life. God gives us joy. God gives us peace.

God made a way for us to be with Him forever. One day we will die. Every human being dies. We are here for only a season in our earthly bodies.

Scripture says that our life here on earth is like a "vapor" as it is only temporary (James 4:14). While we are on this earth we are given the opportunity to come to know God. It is our choice alone to receive God or reject God. If we choose God then we are given His gift of salvation and eternal life with Him.

Eternity with God cannot be compared with this life, as there are things that we cannot imagine that God has prepared for us, for all who choose Him. Greatness and beauty, wonders beyond wonders, gifts beyond anything that we know about on this earth.

God desires to give us all good things, if we come to Him and let Him. This is what a father does. A father gives his best, his everything to his children.

There is no greater honor than to be called the children of God. Think about it. The One True God who created everything wants to call me His child !! This is truly an amazing thing, the highest honor we will ever have on this earth !! Praise the LORD !!
