For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13

The dictionary defines a Christian as one who professes belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ; Disciple; a member of the Christian denomination. By the world's definition, a person is NOT necessarily saved in order to be called a Christian, just one who professes belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ or a member of the Christian denomination. This is why there are so many different "Christians" in the world today.
Remember though, God says, that professing belief is not necessarily possessing saving faith.
Many denominations have the label of "Christian", who do NOT share the same doctrine or beliefs or creeds.
Which denominations call themselves Christian? As of this writing, there are thousands of denominations who call themselves Christians all around this world: Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran, Evangelical, Methodist, Pentecostal, Presbyterians, Orthodox, Church of Christ, Mormon, Church of God, Wesleyan, Bible Fellowship, Unity, Assembly of God, Amish, Vineyard, and many more. Many professing Christians are not affiliated with any organized religion. Many professing Christians do attend any church or assembly of like believers. Many professing Christians do not know God's word, do not follow Christ, and do not follow the Word of God. Can ALL these different people, from ALL these different denominations, different belief systems, truly ALL be Christians? The world says YES. The world says that all these different people are Christians, because "they profess that they know God". God's definition is different than the world's. Let's look at what is written in the word of God.
Christians in the BibleThere few scriptures in the Holy Word of God, that refer to the word "Christian". There are only three references in the King James Holy Bible, referring to Christians: 1. The disciples were called Christians.
2. Agrippa was almost persuaded to be a Christian.
3. Let men not be ashamed if they suffer as a Christian.
What do these scriptures tell us?
We still come back to the question, What is a Christian? What does the word of God say a person must do to become a "Christian"? It doesn't. God doesn't say what we are to do in order to be called a "Christian", God doesn't want to give us a "label", He wants us to have a relationship with His Son. God tells us in His word how to become part of His Heavenly family, how to become a child of God, a believer of His Son, how to receive His free gift of eternal life, which is salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Don't get hung up on labels. "Christian" is a label. Which is the reason so many people, with so many different beliefs have this label. Do not be deceived, professing to be a "Christian" does not guarantee one possesses salvation. Professing any title is not possessing salvation. Know this, God is NOT interested in any label that the world gives you, because God is not of this world, because God is not a respecter of persons (Acts 10:34), of titles, of names, of status. God is interested in your heart, mind, soul and spirit. God's desire is that you believe in His Son, Jesus Christ, to salvation, so that you can spend eternity with Him.
God desires us to be where He created us to be, which is with Him for all eternity. There is NOT one scripture in the word of God that tells anyone to be a Christian, or how to become a "Christian". The word of God was written to show us how to believe in Christ Jesus, to receive and commit to an eternal relationship with Jesus, to have faith in the Son of God, and that by believing we may know that we have eternal life.
It seems that everyone is calling themselves a "Christian" today, whether they understand the meaning or not, whether they have saving faith or not, whether they have a relationship with Jesus Christ or not. Multitudes of people all around the world are called "Christians" today. The Christians of the Bible, the disciples, like Paul, were saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, nothing more and nothing less. We are all saved the exact same way, by grace through faith, by the grace of God through faith in Christ Jesus. The word of God teaches us that only a person who is saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, by believing on the name of the Son of God, who is Jesus Christ, and when that person follows Christ in their life, these people are called believers of Christ Jesus. When we are born again through faith in Jesus Christ we are called believers, we become the children of God.
Notice that the Holy Scriptures did NOT say here that "ye are all Christians by faith in Christ Jesus". The children of God will enter the Kingdom of God, the children of God receive eternal salvation in the end, no one else. All the labels and denominations will fall away when we enter into the gates of Heaven, as King Jesus rules, no one or nothing else. Please don't place your faith in your religion, denomination, name, or title, but place you faith in the one who saves, place your faith and energy in Christ Jesus, the Savior of the world. By the grace of God and through faith, believing in Jesus Christ, we receive the free gift of salvation from God, which is eternal life. We are born again of Christ and therefore we can enter the kingdom of God. There are many people who call themselves "Christians", who do not really know anything about Jesus Christ or what being a believer of Christ really means. We should be more interested in what being a Christian truly means. We should be more concerned with being a practicing Christian, than professing we are one. We should seek to know what God desires from us, how we can please our Lord and Saviour who has given us so much. We should NOT be so caught up with what people are called, but more with who they are, and what they stand for in the Kingdom of God. We should never judge who is a "Christian" and who is not. Judgment is God's. Only God sees in the hearts of mankind.
What does NOT make any person a Christian?
God wrote the Book on salvation; they are His rules. God is detailed and finite regarding His perfect plan for salvation.
What does make any person a Christian? Becoming a Christian is accepting Jesus Christ into your heart and making Him Saviour and Lord of your life. ONLY Jesus Christ can save anyone. No one can become a Christian without faith in Christ Jesus to salvation. Only by believing in the only begotten Son of God, who is Jesus Christ, receiving salvation, repenting and turning from sin, and following Christ can anyone truly become a Christian, who is a disciple of Christ.
The reason Jesus left the riches of Heaven and came to earth was to save the world from sin, was so that by believing and trusting in Him, we might have everlasting life.
God sees two types of people:
Believers of Christ Jesus, choose Him to be the Lord and Saviour over their life forever. Eternal life is given to all who come to God believing in Jesus Christ for eternal salvation. God places emphasis on believing in Jesus Christ, rather than being called a "Christian" or any "name".
Scripture after scripture separates the believers of Jesus Christ and those that do NOT believe in Jesus Christ, unbelievers. Believers and unbelievers are separated, the saved and the lost, those with God and those without God. The lost have no hope because they are without God (Ephesians 2:12). The lost choose not to believe in the things of God, denying God they are alienated from God by their choice, through their chosen ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart (Ephesians 4:18). The saved and the lost. The believers and the unbelievers. The just and the unjust. Those without God in their lives and those with God abiding in them. Believers are those who are saved and unbelievers are those who are lost. Believers in Christ Jesus have been saved from sin and death. Believers have been redeemed, sanctified, regenerated, washed clean from sin by the blood of Jesus (Acts 20:28; Romans 3:25; 5:9; 1 Corinthians 6:11; Ephesians 1:7; Colossians 1:14; 1:20; 1 Peter 1:19; 1 John 1:7; Revelation 1:5). Unbelievers do not have faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour, and have NOT been saved from sin and death by the blood of Christ Jesus on the cross. Unbelievers will die in their sins (John 8:24). Scriptures tell us what the future holds for those that believe in Jesus Christ and what the future holds for those that do NOT believe in Jesus, the Son of God. God never said we are to be called "Christians", but the word of God reads that the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch. Why didn't God give us instructions on how to become a "Christian"? Because being called a Christian cannot save anyone from sin and death. Only by believing in Christ Jesus can we receive salvation and become a child of God.
There is NOT one scripture in the word of God, where God says we are ALL to be called Christians. There is not any scripture in the word of God where He says we are to be called anything, other than His children, the children of God, the sons and daughters of God (2 Corinthians 6:18).
God desires ALL people of the world to become the children of God through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus called His own followers disciples - not Christians. Are you a disciple of Christ? Do you follow Christ?
God does say over and over in His Holy Word that He wants us to become the children of God - believers of Christ. We are NOT to get hung up on any label. Labels are from man for man, NOT from God.
We are to seek God, seek the kingdom of God, and seek the will of God. We are to serve and defend God - NOT any manmade religious label. We are to give up our life for Christ - NOT for a religion, or a denomination, or any religious label.
Saying that you are a "Christian" will not gain you entrance into heaven. Possessing Christ, having Christ abiding inside of your heart will. Only believing in the Son of God, obeying God and having faith in Jesus Christ will anyone inherit the kingdom of God and receive eternal life.
The word of God tells us all that if we do NOT believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, sent from God to save us from sin, come to give us eternal life in His Kingdom, that we will die in our sins. Salvation from sin and death is in one God, Jesus Christ.
Jesus did not come into this world to condemn us, but Jesus came into this world from Heaven above so that through Him we might be saved. By believing in Him, placing our complete faith and trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour over our entire lives, we can be set free from sin and receive eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ, by the grace of God.
Are you a Christian? Asking a person if they are a Christian is NOT enough. A Catholic and a Baptist are both called and labeled Christians, but the two have very different doctrinal beliefs, they believe two totally different doctrines. With Christianity being a "label" for many religions, it is NOT enough to ask anyone "are you a Christian?", in order to determine what they believe, and if they have received the gift of God, salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Salvation is the free gift of God We know through the word of God that everyone is saved the exact same way, by the grace of God through faith in Christ Jesus alone. Works are not required for salvation, because salvation is the gift of God, freely given by God to all people who come to Him through faith in Christ Jesus.
Many Christians believe they must do certain works in order to be saved, but God tells everyone in His word, no works are required by anyone to receive salvation. Why? Because Jesus has already done all the works required by God for our salvation. Nothing else is required by God, to receive His free gift of salvation, because God's grace is sufficient to save us.
Hallelujah!! By His grace I am saved!!
By faith in Jesus we are ALL the children of God, not by any works we can do or have done, because Jesus Christ completed all works required for our salvation on His cross and by the resurrection of Christ Jesus we can receive eternal life by placing our trust and faith in Him alone.

Remember, the scriptures tell us that even satan believes there is one God (James 2:19), but that belief does not save the devil. The head knowledge that there is one God is not heart knowledge, faith in trusting One God for the salvation of your soul. The devil knows for a fact that there is One God, but the devil refused to place his faith in the One God to the saving of his soul. This is why God cast the devil out of His Heavenly Kingdom forever and has reserved hell for satan's eternal torment (Matthew 25:41). Faith in God is not head knowledge of the facts, but faith in God is heart knowledge, knowing deep down in our hearts that God is ALL who He says that He is (Hebrews 11:6), and faith is trusting in God with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind that He is the One True Living God who is able and will save our souls from sin and death.
Christian is a name first given to the disciples, who believed in Jesus Christ for their salvation, believed in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and taught the gospel of Christ.
The word Christian should mean everyone who believes in Jesus Christ and follows His word and teachings, given to us in the scriptures in the word of God. Christian should mean everyone who believes in Jesus Christ and follows Christ and teaches the gospel of Christ to other people. It seems as though everyone is claiming to be a "Christian" today, but few know what its true meaning is all about. Calling yourself a "Christian" does not make you one. I can call myself a "brain surgeon" but that doesn't make me one. I can call myself many things but it doesn't make it true. Christian is not just a label, a name, a denomination, or a religious sect. Too many people believe that a relationship with Christ is not even a requirement to be called "Christian". The fact is that without Christ no one is a "CHRISTian". No one is a Christian apart from Christ. Being a Christian is being a disciple of Christ Jesus, a follower of Jesus Christ in all His ways, in all His teachings, believing in all of Him, believing in all His words, and teaching the gospel of Christ Jesus. Christianity is a lifestyle of faithfully following the ways of Christ Jesus, not a name.
Christianity is NOT following the ways of this world, but the ways of Christ Jesus. Being a Christian is living by faith for God every day of our lives, not living in sin for self.
You are not a Christian just because you say you are a Christian. Yes, we are to profess our faith to others, but just saying you are a "Christian" does not make you a Christian. Just saying you love God doesn't mean you do, because God says those who love Him will keep His commandments and pursue righteousness, not sin.
You are NOT a Christian because you say you are. You are not a Christian because your parent is a Christian, or Grandmother, or any other family member. You are not a Christian because you go to church. Sitting in church does not necessarily mean that you are a Christian. There are many lost people who sit in a church. You can sit in a garage, but that doesn't make you a car. You are not a Christian because you read the bible. Even the devil knows the written Word of God, but that doesn't make him a Christian. You are not a Christian because you pray. Many people who pray are not Christians. You are not a Christian just because you think you are a good person. You are not a Christian just because someone said a prayer over you. To become a believer you must ask Christ Jesus into your heart, you must pray to God for your own salvation. The only way to become a Christian is by grace through faith, through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, by asking Jesus to be your personal Lord and Saviour, by being born-again, by receiving the free gift of God eternal salvation.
The only way to be born again is to have faith in God, trusting that He alone can save you from sin and death. Faith in God that He is God and faith in all He that says that He is in His word (Hebrews 11:6). One becomes a Christian by giving Jesus their life. Without surrendering your life to Christ Jesus you cannot be saved. We give our life to Christ and He puts His righteousness upon us, thereby reconciling us to God. No one is a Christian without Christ. We must believe in Christ for the salvation of our souls, we must put on Christ, to be called a CHRISTian.
Please note that God does NOT promise "Christians" anything, but God does promise faithful believers of Christ Jesus His gift of eternal life. You will not find one Scripture in the word of God that states any promises for "Christians", because they are none.
The promises of God, forgiveness of sin, redemption from sin, regeneration, sanctification, justification, and eternal life are given by God to His children, who are believers of His Only Begotten Son Christ Jesus, who have placed their trust by faith in Christ Jesus for the saving of their souls and eternal life. Only the children of God receive the gifts of God, which is eternal life. We are ALL the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:26). We are NOT the children of God by any other means, other than by faith in Christ Jesus. We are NOT the children of God through any label, name, affiliation, or by being in any denomination. God does NOT promise "Baptists" or "Catholics" or "any religion" eternal life in heaven. Absolutely, no "label" will get anyone into Heaven. No denominational affiliation will get you into heaven, because NO denominational affiliation can save anyone. Salvation based on denomination is NOT biblical and is NOT of God. Salvation based on the grace of God through faith in Christ Jesus is biblical and is of God (Ephesians 2:8). The promises of inheritance into the Kingdom of God are for believers of Christ Jesus, for God's children alone. God never said, if you call yourself a Christian that you will inherit everlasting life; NO, God said if you believe on the name of Jesus you will be saved. God promises believers of Christ, His Son, the followers of Christ, salvation and eternal life - and NO ONE ELSE.
Believers of Jesus ChristWhat does the word of God say about believers of Christ?
Believers of Jesus Christ:
All who believe in Jesus shall be savedWe must believe God is who He says that He is in His word, in order to be saved, we must place our complete, whole trust and faith in God alone for our salvation.
Partial believe cannot save anyone. Partial faith is NOT faith. Belief in God in addition to other beliefs in other things does not save anyone. Meaning you can't believe in every religion known to man and be saved. Belief in anyone or anything in addition to your belief in God, cancels out total faith in God. Belief in God, faith in God alone saves. Other things ALONG with faith in God cancels out your total faith in God alone. No one can have faith in God alone, WITH other things, adding other things. We don't need to ADD anything to our faith in God. Faith in God alone brings salvation. We cannot have faith in God with ADD ON's (adding on our works, adding on our religion, adding on our own doctrine). We cannot add anything, in addition to our faith in God.
An example of an ADD ON, an additional belief in God would be if you confess Jesus is your personal Lord and Saviour over your life, confess your sins to God, as forgiveness of your sins, have faith in God, BUT you bow to a statue and pray. By adding on bowing to a statue, you have cancelled out your faith in God alone, because you are denying God by bowing to a statue. Bowing to any statue cancels out your faith in God alone. No idol, no statue of anyone or anything can do anything for you, a statue is dead. We are to have faith in the one true living God alone. Idolatry is not accepted by God. There will be NO idolaters in the Kingdom of God. The word of God states that idolatry is the worship of idols, any idol of anything or anyone in heaven or in the earth or in the sea. We are not to make, own, have, view, or worship any image of God or anyone or anything in heaven or in the earth. Why? Because God wants us to come to Him by faith in Him alone, not through some statue that we can see. For more information see - NO IDOLS
Another example of add on, or additional faith, would be if you have confessed you are a sinner, asked Jesus to forgive you of all your sins, surrender you whole life to God, confessed Jesus is Lord and Master of your life, BUT you believe in order to be saved you must do something in addition to your faith in God, like abstaining from certain foods, fasting on a certain day or month, doing charitable works, praying in a certain direction, giving a certain amount of money to your religious sect, saying a certain prayer, repeating certain things, etc. Faith in anything in addition to God, cancels out total faith in God alone. How can God see your total faith in Him alone, if you believe that you must do this or do that, in addition to faith in order to be saved? Works in addition to faith for salvation is NOT what God says in His Holy Word. The word of God clearly states that faith in God alone is salvation, nothing else is needed. God is able to save us alone, He does NOT need our additional works. When we insist to do additional works for God in order to be saved, we are telling God that we don't have faith in Him alone to save us by Himself. God is able to save us all by Himself. God does not need our works. God needs nothing from us. God is God. Until we can believe that He is who He says He is we cannot be saved.
We are saved by the grace of God alone, nothing else is needed. Too many people believe that they have to help God with His salvation work. Believe in God alone. God alone is able to save you, no other works are needed.
We are saved by the grace of God alone, through faith in God alone. Faith in God is enough. All God has ever asked from us is to have faith in Him alone. That's it, that's all that is required for eternal life, faith in God alone. When we realize God is enough, we are on the straight and narrow path to the Kingdom of God. Please don't let "add on's", additional works steal your inheritance into the Kingdom of God for eternity. Please don't let other works prevent you from your reward in Heaven. Please don't let other people deceive you and steal your confidence. Belief in God is faith in Him alone to save you. Nothing else or no one else can save anyone from sin and death, ONLY faith in God alone saves.
Power to become the sons and the daughters of God
When we receive salvation we receive the power of God to become the sons and daughters of God.
Born of the will of God
Shall not perish, but have eternal life
Have everlasting life
Believers of Jesus are NOT condemned
All people without belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of their life are condemned to hell.
Passed from death unto life
The moment a believer dies, we pass from death to life, we are immediately with our Lord God Jesus Christ.
Shall never hunger; Shall never thirst
We are all born wanting, seeking. The older we get we still hunger and thirst. Jesus Christ came to deliver us from sin and death and hunger and thirst. Only Jesus Christ can quench our thirst, relieve our hunger. We are all created by God. God alone breathes life into each of our lives. From the moment we are given life, the voice of God is calling us to come to Him. Every person born is called by God, but not every person answers God's call. It is up to us to answer 'yes' to God's call. It is up to each of us individually and separately to come to God by our own free will. God has never and will never force Himself upon anyone. We are given a choice. God loves us so much that He gave us a way out of sin and death, that we are all born into. Through faith in His Son, faith that we are given by the grace of God, we can inherit all things, become a child of God, be saved from sin and death. Through Christ Jesus, believers will never hunger and never thirst for eternity.
Jesus will raise us up on the last day
Jesus is coming back for His own. All believers of Christ will be personally greeted by Jesus one day. All believers will see Jesus one day, all who believe in Jesus will have everlasting life and be with Christ Jesus our King for eternity.
Jesus is Christ, the Son of the living God
There are many beliefs in this world today, we believe and are sure that Jesus is the Christ, the Saviour of the world, the Son of the living God. I like that this verse because it not only states that we believe, but that we believe "and are sure" that thou are that Christ. We are sure, I am sure that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, my redeemer and my Saviour, my King, my Lord God. I believe and I am sure, without any doubt, Jesus is the Christ, the Saviour of the world, the Son of the living God, the Alpha and Omega, the Bright and Morning Star, the Creator of the universe, my heavenly Father, my Lord and my Master.
Jesus is the truth; The truth made us free
We all search for the truth today in this world. It is getting harder and harder to find. Lying is everywhere, woven throughout our daily lives. In our workplace, our schools, our politicians, our teachers, our leaders, and in our homes. What comfort it is to us who believe in Jesus, because He is the truth, the author of truth, and we know that He is the truth and through Him we are set free, from the lies and deceit of this sinful world. We must hold onto the truth in Jesus, without it we will fall. We must make a conscious effort to support the truth at all costs and disallow lies to enter and corrupt our lives. The truth is paramount with God. We must protect the truth and guard ourselves from anyone or anything that is not of the truth. By the grace of God we know the truth, the truth is in Jesus and that truth is what set us free from sin and death.
Shall never die
By the grace of God through faith in God we are set free from sin and death. God said whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Through faith in God alone we receive the gift of salvation which is eternal life in the Kingdom of God.
Believe in God, who sent Jesus
Many religions today believe in God the Father, but do not believe in God the Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus said when we believe in Him, that we are not believing in Him but in Him that sent Him, which is God the Father. God the Father and God the Son, Jesus Christ are one God. There is only one Lord God. They are not separate but are Father and Son. To have faith in God, we must believe He is who He says that He is. If God says that He is one God and that one is both Father and Son, we must have faith in God and believe that He is both. Scripture after Holy scripture tells us that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Creator, the Father and Son are one God. The word of God explains in detail that to have belief in God the Father you must believe in His Son. And without belief that Jesus is God the Son you do not have faith in God the Father. So, why do so many people still do NOT believe? God says that they choose to harden their hearts to the truth. They choose to live in unbelief. They choose to have things their own way. They choose to make up their own religion and beliefs, instead of believing God. Until we surrender all to Jesus, the truth of God cannot be revealed to us. No one can believe that God is who He says that the is, unless it is revealed to them by the Holy Ghost. God does not force us to believe Him. God gives everyone the same choice when He calls us, to believe in Him or not to believe in Him. God loves us so much that He gave us all the same choice to come to Him by our own free will. We must choose to love God, He will never force anyone to love Him. Forced love is not true love.
Shall not abide in darkness, but light
When we walk with Christ we are in the light, not in the darkness of sin. God says all who believe on Him do not abide in darkness. When we receive salvation by faith in God, we are a new person, our old ways of sin are gone, we have been washed clean and purified by the blood of Jesus, that He shed on His cross. By belief in the cross, the crucifixion of Christ Jesus, the shedding of His blood on the cross, our sins are forgiven. By belief in His resurrection from His grave to life eternal, we too can receive everlasting life in His Kingdom. We are saved from sin and death, so after we are saved we are not to go back to a life of sin, we are not to abide in darkness. How could we, after we have seen the Light of Christ Jesus, ever enter back into a life sin and darkness? Jesus set us free from sin and death, we are free from the bondage of sin and darkness forever. By the power of God we can stay in the Light of Christ Jesus. By the power of God we are kept. We are kept by the power of God from all evil and sin and death forever.
Shall be judgedYes, even the believers will be judged by God.
All people of this world, since the beginning of time will be judged by God one day. The word of God reads that we will all be judged by Him. Our lives will be judged. Everything that we did on this earth, even all our thoughts will be judged, everything, nothing is exempt from the judgment of God. Nothing is hid from God. God sees everything that we have done in secret. God will be looking at everyone to see if they have put on Christ, believed in His Son to salvation. Unless God sees the blood of the Lamb on us we will not be permitted entrance into His kingdom. We must all be born again to see God.
Shall inherit the kingdom of God
Again, God does not send His wrath on non-Christians, God sends his wrath on unbelievers, non-believers, all the people who do NOT believe in His Son, Jesus Christ.
Non-Believers of Jesus:
Will only Christians go to Heaven? The word of God, does NOT say only "Christians" will go to heaven. In fact, the word of God does NOT say that any "Christians" will go to heaven.
God says, through the word of God, that whosoever believes in Jesus Christ can be saved and have everlasting life in heaven.
Whosoever believes - ALL WHO BELIEVE in JESUS, will NOT perish but have everlasting life.
Whosoever believes in Jesus Christ will be saved and have everlasting life in heaven.
Faith in God saves, not faith in a "name". No denominational name, no religious name, no name, not any label, not Christian, not Baptist, not Catholic, not Methodist, not Lutheran, none of these names, or any name, will gain you entrance into the kingdom of Heaven, into the presence of God. There is only one name by which men are saved, the name of Jesus. Only by putting your whole trust and faith in God and believing on the Son of God, Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, can anyone enter the gates of heaven and spend eternity with God the Father (John 14:6). God cares about what is on the inside of you, not what is on the outside. God looks inside your heart. Nothing you say or works you do gains you entrance into the kingdom of God, into Heaven. Only genuine faith in your heart, trusting in the one true living Saviour for the salvation of your soul, brings the salvation of God. Only Christ in you, when God looks inside of you and He sees His Son, Christ abiding in you, only then can you gain entrance into the kingdom of God.
Heaven is about God - all about God - not religion.
No Baptists in HeavenThere will NOT be "Baptists" in Heaven. Don't be offended, I didn't say this, God did. I believe too many people have faith in the name of their church, faith in their denominational faith, instead of faith in God. Faith in being a "Baptist" cannot save you, because only God saves through faith in Him alone. Membership to any church or sect has not, will not and cannot save anyone. Only faith in Jesus saves. There is NOT one scripture in the word of God that states Baptists will be in Heaven, or Catholics, or Methodist, or any specific religion named. Our hope of salvation is in the Son of God, Jesus Christ, not in any denomination. Heaven is the Kingdom of God not the kingdom of Baptists. One should never be so focused on their denomination that they cannot see the reason for their salvation. We are not to be attached to religion, or a denomination. We are to be attached to Christ Jesus.
The family of GodOnly the people of God, who are the children of God, which is the family of God will be in His Heaven. The children of God will be in Heaven, no earthly denominations and no earthly religions. There is NOT a Baptist heaven, and a Catholic heaven, and a Methodist heaven, there is only one kingdom of God, there is only One Heaven of God. The word of God clearly states that only believers of Jesus Christ will receive everlasting life in His Kingdom of Heaven. The word of God does NOT say that believers of Baptist theology will receive eternal life, or Catholic theology, or any specified religious theology will receive eternal life. The word of God does NOT say that believers of the Baptist doctrine will receive everlasting life, or Catholic doctrine, or any specific religious doctrine will receive everlasting life.
We must believe in the doctrine of Christ Jesus to receive the salvation of God. The word of God states that whosoever believes in Christ Jesus to the salvation of their souls become the children of God.
The word of God states only those who abide in the doctrine of Christ will enter His Kingdom. The word of God states that only those who have faith in God the Father and the Son will enter His kingdom.
Abiding in the Baptist doctrine, or Catholic doctrine, or any religious doctrine will NOT gain you entrance into God's Kingdom, because God said he that abideth in the doctrine of Christ is he that receive salvation of their souls. The word of God clearly states that only believers of Christ, believers of Christ's doctrine, will be saved. God clearly states that He does NOT want anyone to add to or take away from His Holy Word.
God clearly states in His word that we are not to put any teaching above His - no exceptions. All believers of God and His Son, Jesus will be in heaven, no matter what label the world gave them. God's heavenly kingdom is NOT segregated. There is NOT a separate heaven for each denomination, or each belief, or each person. God wants all His children, all who believe in His Son, to be of one heart, one soul, one mind, one body of Christ. It breaks God's heart to see all His children bickering and fighting on who has the right religion and who has the wrong religion. When the fact is there is only one right doctrine, the word of God, the doctrine of Christ. The doctrine of God, the doctrine of Christ, the gospel of Christ, are all one doctrine of God, the word of God. No one owns exclusive rights to God's word. The word of God belongs to God alone. No "religion" has exclusive rights to God, or His Word. Many "religions" claim to have exclusive rights to God's truth, but God Himself calls such people liars. Do not be deceived by false teachers, believe God's truth. If someone tells you that only their group knows the truth of God and are the only ones who do, run away from them as fast as you can, because they are false teachers. God has never sanctioned His truth exclusively to one particular religious sect or one particular group of people, and He never will.
God's word is owned by God alone. No one group has exclusivity to God's truth. No one owns God. No particular group of people has exclusive rights to God's and His Word of truth. The right doctrine is NOT Baptist, NOT Catholic, NOT Methodist, NOT any manmade doctrine, NOT any denominational doctrine, NOT any religion. The right doctrine is the Word of God, and only the word of God.
The word of God alone is sufficient, because God alone is sufficient. Our sufficiency is of God alone (2 Corinthians 3:5). It was not God's plan to separate His children into different "religions". Different "religions" are manmade NOT God made. Separate "denominations", separate "religions" have always been man's own idea, NOT God's. The doctrine of God states One God and One Spirit and One Grace and One Faith through One Lord and One Saviour and One Bread and One Hope and One Church and One Body who is Christ Jesus. (Mark 12:29, 32; Romans 3:30, 5:15, 12:5; Acts 15:11; 1 Corinthians 1:4, 8:6; 10:17, 12:12-13; Ephesians 2:18, 4:4-6, 5:23; Luke 1:47, 2:11; Isaiah 43:11, 45:21; Hosea 13:4; John 4:42; Philippians 3:20; 1 Timothy 4:10; 2 Timothy 1:10; Titus 2:13). The apostles did NOT preach their own doctrines, but they preached the Gospel of Christ Jesus. There was never the doctrine of James, or the doctrine of Paul, or the doctrine of Peter. God forbid. The disciples all preached the exact same doctrine, which is the doctrine of Christ Jesus. All believers of Christ are of one body, the body of Christ, this is and has always been the will of God.
When we are called of God, we are called into one body, one spirit, one heart, one soul, one faith, one baptism; and we are called by one Lord God, the Father of all, Saviour of all, who is above all, through all, and in us all.
All of us who believe in one God, one Lord, one Saviour, one Spirit, one Faith, one Truth, are together in one body of Christ, and we will be together for eternity in Christ Jesus.
All believers of God will be together with the Lord God for eternity, both men and women will be together in heaven, all nations, all people will be equal in the Kingdom of God.
God did NOT intend for His believers to be separated by "religions". Separate religions is man's plan, not God's plan. God's plan is for one church, one body of Christ, one love and one unity of everyone who believes in His Son. This is what is preached and taught in the word of God.
There is only one church body, which is Christ's. Separations, divisions in the body of Christ is never the will of God. Superiority belongs to God alone, not to any religious group of human beings.
Believe in God and Jesus ChristGod the Father and God the Son are NOT separate beliefs, they are one, because God says that they are one. If we believe in God the Father, we believe in Jesus, God the Son. The word of God reads that if we don't believe in Jesus, that we don't believe in God the Father. God the Father AND Jesus, the Son of God, are NOT separate, they are ONE GOD. The word of God reads that you cannot have belief in the Father without belief in the Son. You cannot believe in one without believing in the other, this is what is written in the word of God again and again.
Believers have both - God the Father and Jesus
Special Note: Please don't be offended by this section. I love and respect all faiths of God. My parents are Baptists and go to a Baptist Church and yes, they will both join me in Heaven one day. What I am saying is that they are not the children of God because they are "Baptist" (no one is) but because they believe in Christ Jesus to salvation. They will not spend eternity with God in His Kingdom because they are "Baptists" but because they are Christ's. And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s. 1 Corinthians 3:23. Heaven will not be about any denomination we find here on this earth. Heaven is all about GOD, all about Christ Jesus. We must not get hung up on denominations, labels, and names. All that matters is who we are in Christ Jesus. Jesus was not sent down from Glory and did not die on His cross to give us any religion, but Jesus died and rose from His grave to new life to give us a relationship with God the Father through Him. No religion or denomination will be in Heaven. Nothing will be glorified in Glory but GOD!
With all our being
When we believe with all our heart we are changed. Because of the work of Christ we can have abundant life and the gift of God, which is eternal salvation. Eternal life, everlasting life is the ultimate gift of God for all who come to Him in faith. When we believe in God with our whole being, we are able to love God the way He created us to love Him. God desires with all His heart that we be where He created us to be, which is with Him for all eternity. We can love God with all our heart only when we believe in Jesus Christ with all our heart.
We are saved by grace through faithWe are saved by grace through faith ALONE. Salvation is the operation of God ALONE. God saves ALONE. We are saved by the grace of God, which is the same grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. There is only one God and only one grace.
We are saved though faith in Christ Jesus
Do you want to have more faith? Study the word of God. Pray and hear the voice of God, the word of God.
Hearing the word of God is not just reading the scriptures. We hear God through our prayers and worship to God.
Belief in Jesus Christ is all that is needed
How can I be saved?
Why do we need to confess Jesus is Lord?
Believers are not ashamed of Jesus Christ.
Remember the thief on the cross who was crucified next to Jesus. He wasn't able to join a church, he wasn't able to be baptized, he wasn't able to walk down an aisle, or read a Bible, or read anything, or become a member of a denomination, or partake in any ritual or sacrament. All the thief did was ask Jesus and believed that Jesus could save him, and Jesus saved him (Luke 23). That's all one has to do today to be saved, ask Jesus into their heart, believe that He can save you and He will.
Yes, God says anyone can be saved.
God said whosoever, that includes you. God saves. God alone saves anyone who comes to Him by His grace. Although we are commanded by God to fellowship with other believers, no one is saved by going to any church, because God alone saves all people. Whosoever - that's you - shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Through faith in Christ Jesus we receive the gift of God, which is salvation - the saving of our soul and eternal life. Through faith in Jesus we receive forgiveness, remission of sin. By repenting of sin we are justified and sanctified, regenerated. We become the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Through faith in Christ Jesus for our salvation, we are adopted into the family of God and granted inheritance in the Kingdom of God.
Many people think that God, being a loving God, will just let everyone into heaven, but this is not true.
Salvation is a choiceAccepting Christ, placing your faith in Jesus for salvation, loving God is not forced on anyone. God wants everyone to choose to be with Him for eternity. God gives everyone free will to decide for themselves to love Him with all their heart, with all their soul, and with all their might.
Some people think, at the day of judgment, God will just let everyone into Heaven. Since He is a God of love, He will not send anyone to hell, but this idea is fiction. Being a 'good person' will not get you into heaven. Only people who make Jesus Christ their Lord and Saviour are saved. So many people claim to be Christians these days. Just because you say you are a Christian or say you are saved, doesn't make it so. God has made it very clear, those who will enter, and those who will NOT enter into everlasting life with Him in Heaven.
Just because you call yourself a "Christian", or call Jesus "Lord", does not make Him Lord of your life. Salvation is a choice, in where we ask Jesus Christ into our hearts to be Saviour of our life and Lord over our life. By giving our life to Jesus we are saved, we must surrender our life to Jesus to receive His promise of eternal life.
All people who chose NOT to believe in Jesus Christ to the salvation of their souls, will die in their sins, and remain separated from God for all eternity.
Separation from God for eternity is promised to all people who do not choose to believe in Jesus Christ to salvation.
How to know if you are a true Christian, a believer in Jesus Christ?A genuine disciple of Christ, a true Christian, a believer of Christ Jesus is not a label, word or title. We know we are a believer of Christ Jesus because we are a new creature, we have put on the ways of Christ, we live separate from the lust of this world, we live in righteousness, we live by faith in Christ Jesus, and our spirit is confirmed by the Spirit of God that we are a child of God.
How do you know if you are a true believer?

Hypocrisy is acting as if you are what you are not. Hypocrisy is condemned by God. Hypocrisy is deceit. Hypocrisy is acting as a faithful, godly believer, but in reality you are unholy and unrepentant, attached to an evil addictive habit, such as lust, greed, jealously, bitterness, unforgiveness, or hatred. A hypocrite is someone who projects or proclaims to be what they are not. A hypocrite is a liar, a deceiver in the area of obedience to God. A hypocrite lives under the rule of satan, not under the rule of the Lord God. The word of God states that all hypocrisy and all hidden sin will be openly revealed, if not in this lifetime, then at judgment. Hypocrisy is a sign that one does not fear God. Hypocrisy is a sign that one does not possess the Holy Spirit with His regenerating grace. The end of a life of hypocrisy is eternity in hell (Matthew 23:33).
Professing Christ is not possessing Him as your personal Lord and Saviour. No one can have Christ as their Saviour and the devil as their lord. God says no one can have two masters. We are the servants of who we yield ourselves to; we either yield to sin and are the servants of the devil, or we yield ourselves to righteousness and are the servants of God (Romans 6:16-20). Being righteous does not make anyone a Christian. Christians are righteous because they are saved. We cannot do anything to gain salvation. It is true that only God can see into our heart and only God sees inside our heart and knows if we are truly saved, but the Scriptures tell us all that we are known by our fruits.
The wages of sin will always be death and if we attach ourselves to sin, we attach ourselves to death, this is the law of God (Romans 6:23). Special Note: I am a Christian, not because I say I am, but because by faith I choose to believe in Christ, I choose to give my life to Him, I possess Christ in me, I daily follow after Christ Jesus. I believe in Jesus for the salvation of my soul. I believe that Jesus died on His cross and rose to new life. I profess I am a Christian and I practice Christianity. Professing Christianity is not necessarily practicing Christianity. I am a practicing Christian, I follow the doctrine of Christ Jesus. I believe with all my heart that Jesus Christ died for my sins, I believe with all my heart that through faith I am saved by the power and grace of Jesus - He has saved me from sin and death. I believe with all my heart that God loves me and desires that I be with Him through the end of my life here on this earth and throughout all eternity. I believe in God and because of my faith in Jesus Christ I am a child of God, and through faith in Christ Jesus I will someday soon enter into the Kingdom of Heaven and I will forever be with my Lord! Halleluiah! Praise the LORD!
??? Not sure where to go from here ??? May we suggest . . .
