Facts of Salvation

This is a Bible study on Facts of Salvation.     Click here for a printable Bible Study Guide.

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.  Isaiah 45:22

God says in His Holy Word that we are to look to Him and be saved because He is God and there is none else.

Salvation from sin and death is found in God alone.  The salvation of God is given to anyone who comes to Him for it - in faith - believing that He is God and can save them.

We are all saved the exact same way - by the grace of God through faith in God for our salvation - Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 3:26.

People who do not know the truth will believe anything.

What are Facts of Salvation?

Facts of Salvation is the truth of GOD regarding His salvation.  The truth of God is found in His Word, the Word of God, the Holy Bible.  Facts of Salvation are ALL found in the Word of God.

Any doctrine we believe is to be proven - shown true - by the Living Word of God.  If it is not in the Word of God then we are not to proclaim it as God's truth.  Everything you hear about God and His Word is to be proven by you in your own Bible Study to your spirit by the Spirit of God.

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves.  Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?  2 Corinthians 13:5

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.  1 Thessalonians 5:21

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  2 Timothy 2:15

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.  2 Timothy 3:16

God gives wisdom to discern His truth to anyone who asks Him (James 1:5).  God's promises and truth is available for all people.  God's Word is available and given to all people to learn about God and the things of God.  You need no one to teach you because God gives each person His truth, His wisdom, His Spirit to understand His words (1 John 2:27-28).  You can learn about God without any man teaching you because God gifts all of His children with the Holy Spirit who teaches our spirit His truth.  Be careful especially today who and what you are listening to in this world.  There are many false teachers running about the world today (1 John 4:7).

God's truth is in His Word.  Remember if it is God's truth then it will be in His Holy Word.  God's truth will never contradict God's Word.  Always find the Scripture to confirm all teaching.  Jesus said that we err not knowing the Scripture, not knowing the word of God, nor the power of God (Matthew 22:29).  The power of God is released to us by knowing the Word of God.  If you are feeling powerless, disconnected to God, pick up His Holy Scriptures, marinate in His word and you will be strengthened.

Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.  1 Timothy 4:15

But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doeth he meditate day and night.  Psalm 1:2

The reason that the world is in the shape that it is today, is because we have failed to adhere to the teachings of Christ, we have failed to bring up the next generation in the Word of God, in the doctrine of God.  We have decided it is appropriate to live life without God - to live outside of God.  Our nation has gone their own way, leaving the churches, leaving the gospel of God, and forsaking their first love (Revelation 2:4) - faith in God.

Pray without ceasing - 1 Thessalonians 5:17.  Always pray to receive God's wisdom (James 1:5), God's truth, before and after you begin any Bible Study.  I can't say enough how important Prayer is when studying God's word.

Studying God's Holy Word without praying makes as much sense as going to a world renown five star restaurant, ordering a wonderful meal, it is wonderfully presented, set out on your table before you, and then taking out a camera and taking a picture of it, paying the check and then leaving.  Yes, you saw the meal but you didn't eat it, you didn't taste it, it didn't feed you, it did not nourish your body, you didn't get all you could out of it.  Prayer before and after Bible study allows the Holy Spirit to feed your spirit, your soul with the nourishment of the living Word of God.

You can't defend what you don't know.  The only way to combat the lies of the enemy is to know the truth - God's truth - by seeking God out, by learning His word, by living His word.  Those who do not know God or have abandoned their faith are persuaded to believe a lie.   Stand with God, stand with Christ Jesus, learn God's truth, so you will not be caught unawares, so that you can repel the fiery darts of the enemy, so that you can defend the gospel, so that you will know the truth and be set free.

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.  2 Timothy 3:12-17

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.  James 1:5

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.  And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.   1 John 2:27-28

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.  1 John 4:7

Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.   Matthew 22:29

Salvation belongs to God

Salvation belongs to God - God owns salvation - no one else can give you salvation but God.

First, we must realize that salvation belongs to God, it is His salvation.

God owns salvation.  Only the one who owns salvation, can give salvation.

We cannot create salvation within ourselves, because God is the Creator of all things, including salvation.

We do not create salvation within ourselves, because salvation is of God, not of man.

We cannot save ourselves, because there is only One Saviour, the LORD God Almighty.

No human person can give salvation to anyone, because salvation belongs to God and only God can give away His salvation.

Salvation is gifted to us from God by grace through faith.  Salvation is the operation of God alone.

God alone controls who receives His salvation.  No one has control over God and no one has control over giving away His gifts.  Salvation is the Gift of God, owned by God and given by God alone.

No one acquires salvation by their own means, by their own works, by anything that they can do for God, salvation is the gift of God, from God alone, by God alone.

All things belong to God (2 Corinthians 5:18).  We own nothing in this world, as it all belongs to God.  We brought nothing with us into this world and we will take nothing out with us.  Our lives our not ours, they are the Lord's.  Don't get caught up in the lie that you own this or that, the lie that you control anything, because you don't.

For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we carry nothing out.  1 Timothy 6:7

Salvation belongs to God - Psalm 3:8.   Salvation is God's salvation.  The salvation of God belongs to God alone, no one else.  God owns salvation.

God is the author of salvation - Hebrews 5:9; 12:2.  Salvation began with God and will end with God.  Salvation is the sole property of God.  Salvation begins and ends in God.  God gifts mankind salvation.

God is the Creator of salvation.  God is the Creator of all things.  All things are created by God and for God - Colossians 1:16.

Salvation comes from God above, all good things come from God above - James 1:17.

God has always owned all things and will always own all things.  God does not change - Malachi 3:6.  God is the same from the beginning, God is the same today, and God will be the same forevermore - Hebrews 13:8.  Salvation always belonged to God and will always belong to God alone.

Salvation as with everything belongs to God.  Everything that is - that exists - belongs to God alone.

We own nothing in this world.  God says that we brought nothing into this world, and we will carry nothing out of this world - 1 Timothy 6:7.

Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.  Psalm 3:8

God is our salvation.  We are NOT our salvation.  We are not our own salvation, God is our salvation.

No one can save themselves.  No person on this earth can give to anyone the salvation of God.  No human being can purchase the salvation of God by any means on this earth.

Mankind is dependent upon God for salvation.  No one has salvation with God.  God is dependent upon no man for anything.

No one has salvation without God, without faith in Jesus Christ no one is saved.  The salvation of God is gifted to us through faith in Jesus Christ.  Everything of God, all the things of God are through Christ Jesus.

Salvation begins and ends with God

God is the first and the last, Alpha and Omega, and the beginning and the end of all things.  Salvation began with God and will end with God.

In the beginning God...  Genesis 1:1

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.  Revelation 1:8

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.  John 1:1-3

There is but one God and He alone is the author of salvation.  God is the author of salvation.

The word of God reads that Jesus is the author and finisher of eternal salvation - Hebrews 5:9; 12:2.  Eternal salvation begins and ends with Jesus Christ.  Without Jesus there is no salvation.   Salvation exists only in Christ Jesus.

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.  Hebrews 12:2

From the beginning of salvation to the end of salvation, and every every part of salvation in between, we are dependent upon Jesus for our salvation.  Apart from Jesus, apart from God, no one has salvation.

God is the author of eternal salvation.  God alone created - authored - salvation.  God alone created the perfect plan of salvation.  Only God can gift - give - His salvation to people.

God gifts us salvation, by His grace through faith - Ephesians 2:8.  By the grace of God we are saved - Ephesians 2:5.

Salvation begins in God, salvation begins with God, by grace through faith in His Son Jesus Christ as Saviour of our lives.  And the end of our faith is salvation, when we die (or Jesus returns, whichever comes first) and see Him face to face.

Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.  1 Peter 1:9

The end of our faith is the salvation of our soulsGod did not say the beginning of our faith is the salvation of our souls - NO, God said that the end of our faith is the salvation of our souls.  We are saved at the moment we receive the gift of life through faith in Christ Jesus - Galatians 3:26, but we receive the salvation of our souls at the end of our faith - when our journey of faith concludes at the end of our lives (when we die, or the Lord returns, whichever happens first) at the end of our faith we receive the crown of life enabling us to enter into Glory, eternal Glory with Jesus into the Kingdom of God.  At the end of our faith we receive eternal salvation.

We must hold onto faith in Jesus all the days of our lives - Hebrews 3:14.  The word of God reads that the saved, the just, believers, live by faith every day - Galatians 3:11.  As believers, our journey to the throne of God is stepping forward toward God every day from faith to faith - Romans 1:17, a continual walk in faith - 1 John 2:24, toward our home in Heaven - Philippians 3:20, to live forever with our Lord God - 1 Thessalonians 4:17.

Christ Jesus is the source of salvation.

Salvation is the GIFT of God

Salvation is the gift of God.  Salvation is the free gift of God.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  Ephesians 2:8

Salvation is eternal life and is the gift of God - Romans 6:23.   The gift of God is given freely to us by God.  The gift of God cannot be purchased by money or anything - Acts 8:20, cannot be obtain by ourselves, and cannot be earned by our works - Ephesians 2:9; Titus 3:5.

The gift of God cannot be purchased by our money - Acts 8:20 - or anything that we think we possess.

The gift of God cannot be obtained by ourselves - Ephesians 2:8.

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Titus 3:5

The gift of God cannot be obtained by our works - Ephesians 2:9, our good deeds, our services to God, our sacrifices, our will, or by anything that we think we can give to God.

Salvation is the gift of God, eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Romans 6:23

We are saved by God's grace alone - Titus 3:7, through faith in Jesus Christ alone, nothing else is needed for salvation.

Salvation is FREE - nothing is required

The salvation of God is given freely to us and nothing is required from us to complete salvation - because salvation was bought and paid for by Jesus - because God has already paid the price - all by Himself - for our salvation.

Salvation was gained for us at a high price.  Salvation has already been paid for, bought, purchased by the blood of Jesus.  Salvation is free to us know because Jesus paid the price for our salvation on His cross - so that we could receive it freely.  Salvation is FREE to us today only because Jesus Christ already paid the cost of it for us.

There was a price for salvation - but the price was so great that no man on this earth was a worthy sacrifice, no man on this earth possessed the ability to pay for salvation.   God Himself was the only who was worthy to pay the price of salvation, God Himself was the only one who could pay the price of salvation and He did.  Jesus laid down His sinless, holy life, Jesus became the ransom, the price, for our salvation.  The price of salvation for all mankind was paid one time for all mankind - once and for all by Christ Jesus - Hebrews 10:10.

If Jesus had not been the propitiation for our sins, paying the price once for all, laying down His life in exchange for the salvation of all mankind, then we would still be lost in our sins.  But because Jesus came down from heaven, took on flesh, lived among us in the likeness of mankind, forsake all sin but took all our sins upon Himself on His cross, died for our sins, sacrificed Himself so that we might have eternal life, we are able to accept freely the gift of God, eternal life, eternal salvation.

Jesus Christ made the salvation of God free to us, because He loves us and desires us to be with Him forever.  The salvation of God is free to us - to everyone - to whosoever believes in Him for their salvation - because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on His cross, who took the sins of mankind upon Himself, so that we could be set free from sin and death.

Jesus Christ did all the work required for our salvation that day long ago on His cross.   Nothing else is required for salvation, nothing else can be added to the completed work that Christ did on His cross.  All the requirements for salvation were completed in Jesus by Jesus.

Jesus finished all the requirements for salvation for all of mankind on His cross.  Jesus completed His work - the work of Christ Jesus were the only works that could pay for our salvation - on His cross - and after He was through, Jesus said "IT IS FINISHED" - John 19:30.  Jesus finished the work required by God for salvation to be given freely to all mankind.

The salvation of God is FREE.  Nothing we could have done could have paid for salvation.  Nothing is required to pay for salvation today, as Jesus has already paid the full price of salvation by Himself, by His life that He laid down for us on His cross.  Absolutely nothing is required by us to receive the salvation of God - Romans 3:20.  Absolutely no works are required to receive salvation - Titus 3:5.  Because we are saved by the Grace of God nothing else is required - Ephesians 2:8-9.

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Romans 3:24

By receiving God's gift of salvation, through faith in Christ Jesus, we are justified freely by His grace.  God says that we are freely justified by His grace.  We are freely justified because Jesus already paid the price for our salvation, when He bled and suffered on His cross, when He died for all the sins of all the people of the world, and when He rose again to life everlasting.

Nothing else is owed to God for salvation, the debt has been paid already, once for all, by His Son, Christ Jesus.

By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Hebrews 10:10

Jesus paid the price for our salvation, and made a way for us to be with God in Heaven for eternity.  Jesus paid for our sins once for all, one-time for all people, never to be repeated.

A gift is free.  No payment of any kind is required for a free gift.

God's gift of salvation is free to all who believe on His Son, Jesus Christ for salvation.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.   He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.   John 3:16-18

Salvation is for ALL people

The salvation of God is for ALL people.  No matter what someone has told you, the word of God reads that no one is excluded from receiving the salvation of God.

No one owns God.  No one owns God's salvation.  No one but God says who and who cannot receive His salvation.

Anyone can receive salvation by faith in Christ Jesus.  Salvation is the gift of God, given by God to any person who through faith accepts His salvation, by His Son, Jesus Christ.

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,   Titus 2:11

God says that any person - whosoever - can ask for His free gift of salvation and receive it, no matter who you are, what you have done in the past, nationality, denomination, race, gender, no matter what - if they believe in Jesus Christ for salvation.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  John 3:16

God says whosoever believes in His Son, Jesus Christ, shall not perish, but have everlasting life - John 3:16.  Whosoever includes you, and me, and everyone born on this earth.

No person is excluded from choosing the salvation of God.  God does not exclude anyone from receiving salvation, no matter what race, nationality, gender, material wealth, status, politics, or geographical location.

By grace we receive the salvation of God.  By the grace of God we are saved - Ephesians 2:5, 8.  Salvation is gifted by grace.  The grace of God alone saves.

No one is prohibited from receiving salvation, no matter what you have done in your past.  God cares about your future, your eternal destiny.  God loves you so much, that He is willing to forgive all your past sins against Him, if you have faith in His Son for salvation.

Salvation is the gift of God for ALL people.  God sent His Son, Jesus, into this world so that the world through Him might be saved - John 3:17.  "The world" includes every human being alive.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  John 3:17

Salvation is NOT received through any church or denomination membership or affiliation.  A church does not save anyone - God saves people.  A denomination does not save, God saves.  Salvation is the act, the operation of God, performed upon one's heart and spirit and soul.

The salvation of God is received by the grace of God alone through faith in Jesus Christ, and received by anyone - whosoever believeth.

For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  Romans 10:12-13

Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved!  Praise the Lord we all can be saved!!

Salvation is a personal choice.

Salvation is a personal choice that everyone must decide and make themselves.  God gifts every person that He breathes life into free will and a measure of faith to choose eternal life with Him.

Salvation is each individual's personal choice, no one but you can choose salvation for you.   Your mother cannot choose salvation for you.  Your grandmother cannot choose salvation for you.  Your spouse, your children, your friends, your family, a pastor, a priest, a church, a denomination, - no person, place or thing - no one can choose your salvation for you - no one can accept salvation for you - you must choose to accept God's free gift of salvation by yourself.

Salvation is a choice for each person.  God does not force anyone to accept His free gift of salvation.  God gifted each person free will to choose or reject Him.  God desires with all His heart that we choose Him, but He forces no one to come to Him.

Salvation is our choice, we either say yes to God, or we tell Him no.  We either accept His free gift of salvation, or we don't.

Believing in God and accepting His free gift of salvation, eternal life by faith in Jesus Christ, is a choice each person must make themselves.

No one can decide to accept, or decline salvation for anyone else, the choice is ours alone.

No one can force anyone to accept salvation, because the choice of salvation is unseen, privately within one's own heart.

Salvation is by grace through faith.  We accept God's gift of salvation within our heart, salvation is accepted by and in the heart - Romans 10:10.

We can tell the world that we are saved verbally by our mouth, through confessing Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, but the operation of salvation by God is performed to our hearts, internally.

When God breathed life into our bodies, when we were born, we became a living soul, and God gave us free-will - Genesis 2:7.

When we reach the age of accountability, we must make a decision how to answer God's call.

God says that He calls every soul to Him - John 10:26; Acts 2:38-39; Romans 8:28; 1 Corinthians 7:17; Ephesians 4:4; 1 Thessalonians 4:7; Revelation 3:20.  When we hear God call us, this is the time we must make a decision regarding salvation.

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.  1 Corinthians 1:9

God loves us and God calls us to Him.  God calls every soul to Him, to receive His free gift of salvation.  There is no one that has been born that was not called by God.  God calls every person to Him.  Everyone is called by God.

God desires us to be where He created us to be - which is with Him now and for all eternity - because God loves us and desires for us to be with Him now and forever.

The faith of every person to receive the gift of salvation from God is even given to us.  God even gives us the faith we need to come to Him.  God gives every soul a measure of faith to come to Him - Romans 12:3.  Each person possess a measure of faith to answer God's call to Him.

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:  That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware to thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.   Deuteronomy 30:19-20

God lays out before every person a choice - life and death - God says choose life - His life, choose His eternal salvation, so that we can know God and be with God, so that we can have an abundant life loving God and receiving His love, today and for all eternity - Deuteronomy 30:19.

Salvation is conditional

The Scriptures tell us that God's salvation is conditional, for we are saved by grace through faith - Ephesians 2:8.  God, grace and faith are conditions of salvation - Ephesians 2:8.

The salvation of God has always been conditional and will always be conditional, because God is the same yesterday, today and forever - Hebrews 13:8.

God does not give His gift of salvation to everyone, no matter what, salvation has conditions:  certain conditions we must know, and certain conditions must be meet by us toward God, in order for us to receive His gift of salvation.

Salvation is conditional because salvation requires God.  Without God there is no salvation.  No person can give themselves salvation, because salvation belongs to God.  Only God gives salvation because God alone possesses salvation.  There is salvation in none other but God.

Salvation belongs to God and only God can give salvation - Psalm 3:8; James 1:17; John 19:11.  God is the author and finisher of salvation - Hebrews 12:2.  No one receives salvation without God.  You would think that this would not need to be said, but so many people remove God from their belief of salvation.  Salvation does NOT require our works, our duty, our service, our efforts, our righteousness, our goodness, we cannot do anything to obtain salvation.

Salvation is the operation of God - Colossians 2:12.  God gives us a new heart to serve Him and gives us power to obey His will, through salvation.  Without the salvation of God we are unable to do the will of God.  All people without salvation, the lost, do not perform the will of God, they perform their own will, not God's will.  Salvation cannot be obtained without God.

Too many people have made up their own doctrine, their own rules and requirements for God's salvation.  These people are lost and will never see God, without believing in God.  Many people falsely believe that they are good enough and will go to Heaven, that they will spend eternity with God, no matter what.  Many people have made up their own salvation.  Too many people believe they are god or that god is in them no matter what the Bible teaches.  Too many people believe that they are their own salvation.

There is only one truth that matters, God's truth.  The truth of God is revealed through His Holy Word and the Holy Spirit.  Salvation is given to those who believe in God, believe that God is who He claims to be in His Holy Word, we must believe that He is the God of our salvation - Hebrews 11:6; Psalm 68:20.

Lead me in they truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.  Psalm 25:5

Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.  Micah 7:7

Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.  Habakkuk 3:18

Mankind is dependant upon God.  We need God.  In order to receive God's salvation, we must trust in God, we must believe in God, we must go to God, and receive salvation from God.

Every person believes in God when they receive the salvation of God.

Salvation is conditional because salvation requires faith in Jesus Christ.  Without faith in Jesus Christ, no one obtains the salvation of God.

We become the children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.  Without faith it is impossible to please God - Hebrews 11:6.

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26

God the Father gave His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, the power to save, to give eternal life to all who believe in Him.  There is NO salvation without faith in Christ Jesus.  The plan of God the Father is the perfect plan to salvation.

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.  1 John 5:11-12

The word of God is God's revelation to all people that eternal life is through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ - Romans 6:23.  Jesus is the way, the only door to eternal life.  Eternal life is Jesus.  Through faith in Jesus we can receive everlasting life in the Kingdom of God for eternity.

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.  1 John 5:13

Jesus Christ is the source of salvation.  From Jesus flows living water.  Eternal life is Jesus - 1 John 5:11, 20.  Jesus is the bread of life - John 6:35, 48.

For within the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  Romans 10:10

Every person has faith in Jesus Christ when they receive the salvation of God.

Salvation is conditional because salvation requires realizing we are sinners, realizing that we are a sinner in need of a Saviour.  Salvation requires us recognizing our need for God.

God says all people have sinned and fall short of the glory of God - Romans 3:23.  In that the first man, Adam, sinned against God, all human beings are born into sin.

The wages of sin is death to all human beings - Romans 6:23.  Death passed to all humans by Adam - Romans 5:12.  No human being is good - Luke 18:19.  No human being is good enough to be reconciled to God by themselves, without being cleansed from their sins.

Jesus Christ paid the price of all our sins, through His shed blood on His cross.  Through the death of Jesus we have a way to Heaven.  By placing our trust in Jesus for salvation, our sins can be forgiven and we can be reconciled to God the Father for eternity.

In our sinful condition we cannot be in the presence of God.  Our sins must be removed, purged, washed away in order to see God, to be with God.  Nothing we have is a worthy sacrifice for our sins.  If we were to never commit sin for the rest of our lives, we would still be unworthy.

Only a sinless sacrifice is acceptable to God for our sins - 2 Corinthians 5:21.  Jesus was the only sacrifice for sin that was worthy to pay the ransom for our life, by giving His perfect sinless life as sacrifice for our sins, Jesus made a way for us to be forgiven and reconciled to God, Jesus made our salvation possible through His death on His cross and His resurrection to new life, made eternal life possible for us - Matthew 20:28, Mark 10:45; 1 Timothy 2:6.

Some people refuse to admit that they have sinned against God.  Some people claim that they have no sin to admit, but God says that if we say that we have no sin, that we deceive ourselves and that the truth is not in us - 1 John 1:8.  The Scriptures read that those people who claim that they have never sinned against God, or that they do not to have any sin are calling God a liar - 1 John 1:10.

God does not forgive our sin unless we admit our sin.  When we admit our sin and ask for God's forgiveness, then God promises to remove our sin as far as the east is from the west - Psalm 103:12.  Only by admitting and confessing our sin to God and asking God for His forgiveness of our sin against Him, will we be forgiven of our sin.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  1 John 1:9

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  Romans 10:10

If we confess our sins, then God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.   Confession precedes forgiveness.

Every person confesses sin when they receive the salvation of God.

Salvation is conditional because salvation requires repentance of sin.  God does not want anyone to perish, but wants us all to come to repentance, to repent of sin, and obtain salvation - 2 Peter 3:9.

No one is exempt from repentance - turning from sin to God - before receiving salvation.

Repentance is the act of turning away from our sin and turning to the righteousness of God.  Repentance is required by all people who receive salvation - Luke 13:3.  Our sins are forgiven by God only with our godly sincere heartfelt repentance - Acts 3:19.

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:  Acts 17:30

Genuine repentance is turning away from sin to God and NOT going back to that sin again.

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.  2 Corinthians 7:10

We must release unrighteousness (sin) to take hold of righteousness (God).   We cannot hold onto our sin and take hold of God, because God says that there can be only one master of our life - either Him or sin - no one is allowed to choose both.   We always let go of one when we hold onto the other - no one is able to hold onto both.  We must release sin in order to receive God.  We release God when we grab hold onto sin.  If we choose sin, then we have let go of God.  If we choose God, then we let go of sin.

Repentance is change, is turning, turning from one thing to another.  When we are turned to satan, then we are turned from God.  When we are turned to God, then we are turned from satan.  We can only be turned to one at a time, we do not have two fronts, we can only be turned to one at a time.

We all need God to repent of sin.  God gifts and enables every person the power to turn from their sin through faith in Christ Jesus.  Christ gives everyone, who has faith in Him, the ability and the power to turn away from sin, which is to repent from sin - Acts 3:26.

No person can turn from sin - repent - by themselves, we are all dependant on God for the power to turn from sin.  God gifts grace to all people, His grace and power to turn away from sin and turn to His righteousness.

Repentance is turning away from sin.  Abandoning sin.  Turning from sin to God.

Every person repents of sin when they receive the salvation of God.

Salvation requires forgiveness of sin by Christ Jesus (Matthew 9:6; Mark 2:10; Luke 5:24).  Through godly sorrow of our sins and by turning away from all sin in our life, we can receive forgiveness of all our sins.

Christ Jesus forgives all our past sins at conversion.  Forgiveness of sin is granted when salvation is given by God.

Remission of sin is required for salvation (Luke 1:77).  Repentance of sin precedes forgiveness of sin by God.  The word of God reads "repent and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out" (Acts 3:19).

When we confess that we have sin to God and then repent, turn away from sin, we can receive forgiveness of sin through faith in Christ Jesus (1 John 1:9.

Sin will never live with God (1 Corinthians 15:50).  Our sins must be purged from us, in order for us to be with God in His Kingdom for eternity.  Sin must be separated from us in order for us to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.  Sin must be washed away from our hearts in order to see God.

No one can forgive our sins but God (Mark 2:7; Luke 5:21).

No human being on this earth can forgive our sins.  No priest on this planet can forgive our sins, only God can forgive sins (Hebrew 10:11).

In Old Testament days, priests took sacrifices to be burnt for the sins of people, but when Jesus came to earth, He made a better way for us to be reconciled with God the Father, which is through HimThrough the blood of Christ Jesus we are reconciled to God, His blood sacrifice one-time and for all time, once for all.  Jesus Christ is the Highest Priest between man and God the Father.  Jesus is the final mediator between man and God.  Jesus replaces all priests intervention between man and God.  The priests of this world can give no more sacrifices for sin, because the blood of Jesus was the final sin sacrifice (Hebrews 10:16-23).

The plan of God the Father was for His Son, Jesus Christ, to give His life as the sacrifice for all sins of all the people of this world.  The plan of God the Father was for His Son, Jesus Christ to forgive our sins (Matthew 9:6; Mark 2:10; Luke 5:24; Acts 5:31).  Jesus, God the Son, is the mediator between all humankind and God the Father (Hebrews 9:28), there is no other mediator but Jesus.  Our sins are forgiven through Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:7; 4:32).

Every person is forgiven of sin when they receive the salvation of God.

Salvation is surrendering ourselves to God.  We receive salvation when we say to God, "not my will, but thine be done".

Only by surrendering our life to Christ Jesus, can we receive eternal life.

Salvation is surrender of one life for another, we give Christ our old life, and He gives us a new life.

Salvation is asking and receiving Jesus as our Lord and Saviour.  Saviour of our life and Lord of our life.  There can be only one Master, Lord of our life, Jesus Christ.

Jesus cannot be your Saviour, if He cannot be your Lord, master of your life, because Lord and Saviour are one.

We cannot save ourselves, we need God for salvation.  We must trust in God for our life now, and our life to come.  We must trust in God for our salvation.

Only when we give our life to God will we receive salvation.  Only when we surrender all to God can receive all from Him.

When we surrender our life over to Christ Jesus, through faith by grace, we receive salvation.

No one who holds onto faith in themselves, can receive the salvation of God.  You must have faith in Christ Jesus to receive salvation.  We must let go of trusting in self, trusting our own way to live our life, to take hold of faith in Jesus and receive salvation.

We must let go of self, and take hold of Christ, trust in Jesus for our life, to receive salvation.  God says no one can live life their own way, and live life Christ's way, we must all make a choice to follow the ways of Jesus.  We must give God all we have to receive His salvation.

No one is partially saved, no one is saved a little; we are all either saved or lost, there is nothing in the middle.

You have either received the salvation of God, OR you have NOT received the salvation of God.

Jesus said He knows who are His own (John 10:14).  God knows who are His children by the faith in their hearts.  God sees and knows everyone's heart (Luke 16:15; Acts 1:24; 15:8).  God knows our thoughts toward Him, and knows if they are true.  (Matthew 9:4; Luke 11:17)

Surrendering all is giving all we have to God.  Surrendering all is following the ways of Jesus Christ (John 10:27).  Jesus said, "by this you will know who are disciples, all who take up their cross daily and follow me are my disciples".  True believers of Jesus take up their cross daily for the glory of God.

What does that mean, "take up your cross".  When Jesus took the cross, He was following the will of His Father, this is exactly what God expects from us.  Taking up our cross daily, is saying "no" to our will, and "yes" to the will of God our Father, denying self.  Taking up our cross daily is denying our selfish pleasures, denying our self will, and seeking to please God, seeking the will of God, in every aspect of our lives, all the days of our lives.

Accepting the salvation of God is accepting Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord.  Some people want Jesus to be their Saviour (to save them from sin and death), but stop at making Him their Lord (master, ruler of their whole life).  There can be only one master in the life of the believer, the Master Jesus Christ (Matthew 23:10; John 13:13).

Every person surrenders all when they receive the salvation of God.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  Romans 10:13

From the moment we are born God calls us to Him.  God loves us.  God desires us to be where He created us to be which is with Him now, and for all eternity.  God calls us to Him.  God wants us to call to Him.  God desires that everyone obtain His free gift of salvation because He loves us and wants us to have a loving relationship with Him.

Salvation is a choice.  God does not force His salvation on anyone.  Every person is saved the exact same by the grace of God through faith in Christ Jesus.  We all receive the salvation of God the same way by asking God.

Every person asks God when they receive the salvation of God.

The gift of salvation is freely given to all.  Freely given to all who come to God, believe in God, and ask God for His salvation.

Whosoever sincerely asks God for His salvation will be given salvation.  Once God gives us His salvation we are to receive His salvation.  Salvation requires us receiving God's gift of salvation through faith.

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26

God gives us His gift and we accept - receive - His gift of salvation.

Every person receives the gift of God - eternal life - when they receive the salvation of God.

Salvation is by the grace of God alone

Salvation is by the grace of God, we are saved by grace.  Salvation is received the exact same way by all people.

We ALL receive salvation the exact same way - by grace through faith

God gives His salvation to ALL people the exact same way - by grace through faith.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  Ephesians 2:8

The word of God reads that we ALL become the children of God by grace through faith in Christ Jesus.

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.  Galatians 3:26

Every person who is saved, received their salvation the exact same way, by the grace of Christ Jesus through faith in Jesus Christ.

But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.  Acts 15:11

There are NOT numerous ways to God, there is only one way to receive the salvation of God, which is by grace through faith in Christ Jesus.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  John 14:6

No one comes to God, no one receives the salvation of God, no one receives eternal life, except through faith in Jesus Christ.

God does not save people differently around the world, or in different cultures, or in different nations, or in different races, or in different denominations, or during different time periods, because God is the same yesterday, today and forever more.

God saves all people the exact same way - by grace through faith.  There is no other way to be saved, except by grace through faith.

No one is "more saved" than another, for we receive the same salvation from God.  Children all grow at different rates, some children mature faster than others.  This is the same for believers.  The children of God all grow at different rates.  Faithful believers grow in their faith and knowledge of God based on the fact that they diligently seek God and grow in their faith and grow in their knowledge of God.  God promises His wisdom, knowledge, power and blessings to all who fervently seek Him and obey Him.  The children of God increase in their faith based on the amount of time that they spend in fellowship with God.

Growth in the grace and faith of God does not come to believers automatically, but must be nurtured and cared for through constant communication with God, a daily fellowship with Christ Jesus through praise, worship, prayer, and study of God's word.

Salvation is eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven

Salvation is eternal life with God in His Kingdom.  Salvation is eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven forevermore (Romans 6:23).  By receiving the gift of salvation, we are granted inheritance into the Kingdom of God.  A life of sin leads to eternal death (Romans 6:23)

Salvation is not eternal on this planet earth because this is not the Kingdom of Heaven.  This earth will be destroyed and replaced with a new earth by God Himself (Revelation 21:1).

God is in Heaven (Ecclesiastes 5:2).  God rules the Kingdom of Heaven.  At our physical death or at the rapture of the church we will be forever with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8; 1 Thessalonians 4:17).  We will be with God in His Heavenly Kingdom (2 Timothy 4:18).

The gift of God is salvation which is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).  There is only one eternal life given to man by God, and is through faith in Christ Jesus to salvation.

At the end of your faith, at the end of your earthly mortal life, if you have received the gift of God, then you will receive the salvation of our souls, you will receive the crown of life, everlasting life in the Kingdom of God - 1 Peter 1:9; James 1:12; John 3:16, 5:24, 6:40, 47; Romans 6:22.

Salvation sets us free from sin and death.

Salvation is the plan of God to save us from sin and death.

The operation of God to give us salvation is a process, that requires: belief in God for salvation, our acknowledgment of our sins, confessing our sins to God, and then repenting of sin, turning away from sin to God, and then being converted by the operation of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, receiving forgiveness of our sins by God, sins confessed and repented of, and then asking for and receiving the salvation of our souls

The process of salvation simplified is: confession - repentance - forgiveness - conversion - salvation - all performed by God in us, by grace through faith.

The end of our faith is the salvation of our souls (1 Peter 1:9).  On our journey to the end of our faith we have our life here on earth.  God desires to give us abundant life here, now.  To experience the life God has purposed for us we must be set free from sin and from death, and this was accomplished by the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on His cross.  Jesus set us free from sin and death (John 8:36; Romans 8:2).  Jesus put to death on His cross our captivity, our bondage to sin and released us, set us free to live with God now, today, and in the world to come.

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.  John 8:36

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.  Romans 8:2

Through the salvation of God we are given power from God to say no to sin throughout our entire lifetime on this earth.

Salvation empowers and enables us to live by faith in righteousness to God.  Through the salvation of Christ Jesus we receive victory over sin and death.  We receive the righteousness of Christ through salvation by grace through faith (Philippians 3:9).

Salvation is abiding in Christ being one with God through Jesus.

There is no salvation apart from God.   We are only with God through salvation.  Without salvation you are without God.  The Father and the Son are One God (John 10:30).  There is no salvation apart from Christ Jesus.  No one can believe in God the Father without believing in God the Son, as they are not without one another - the Father and the Son are inseparable - they are One (1 John 4:22-25).  We are only in Christ through salvation.

He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5:10-13

Rejecting the gift of God forfeits your inheritance into the Kingdom of God.  Forsaking God by not accepting His gift of salvation gains you entrance into eternal darkness, separated from God for all eternity.

There is no eternal life without receiving the salvation of God.  Eternal life with God is received through salvation.  There is NO salvation apart from abiding in Christ Jesus (John 3:36, 15:4-5; 2 John 1:9).

No one can abide in Christ Jesus and abide in sin (1 John 3:6); we choose one or the other to be master, ruler over our life.  Sin and righteousness cannot co-exist.  One either yields to righteousness or yields to sin.   Jesus does not abide in sin.  If you are attached to sin, then Jesus is not living, abiding with you.  By remaining in Christ Jesus, by living and abiding in Jesus, we can resist any and all sin because we are given His power to do so.

There is no temptation of sin offered to us that God doesn't promise to make a way for us to escape (1 Corinthians 10:13).  God holds the power over sin, not the enemy (Matthew 28:18; Romans 13:1).  We either believe in God or believe in someone else.  We must submit to God, believe He can get us out of the trap and bondage of sin, believe in Jesus, resist sin and God promises that the devil and his temptation of sin must flee from us (James 4:7).  The power to submit to God, the power to resist the devil is ours for the asking (John 15:7); Jesus empowers all who come to Him by faith to do the impossible (Philippians 4:13).

Salvation is a lifetime journey

Salvation is a lifetime journey, not a onetime event, not a feeling, not a onetime experience.

The word of God reads that we are to hear His words and learn from Him all the days of our lives (Deuteronomy 4:10, 17:19).

Salvation is for all the days that we live upon this earth, not a one day event (Deuteronomy 12:1).

Salvation is not just one day, but a lifetime of faith in Christ Jesus.  Saving faith is a faith without end.  Salvation is a lifetime journey of faith to God.  Our journey to God begins with the gift of salvation, and continues throughout our life with us working out our own salvation - Philippians 2:12.

Salvation is living in faith to God all our lives.  Faith is not receiving salvation and then leaving faith for something else.  Salvation faith is living all our days on this earth for the one true LORD God, because surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever (Psalm 23:6).

We are to be confident and sure our salvation (Psalm 27:3).  We are to continue in the faith grounded and settled, unmovable, rooted and built up, established in the faith (Colossians 1:23; 2:7).  We are to desire the salvation of God above all things (Psalm 27:4).

Through the saving faith of salvation, God promises to hear us always, have mercy on us, answer us and comfort us (Psalm 27:7).

When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek. Psalm 27:8

Through the saving faith of salvation, we learn how to truly seek God, enter into His presence, worship with God in spirit and in truth, behold His wondrous works, receive His knowledge and wisdom, grow in grace and in faith, and truly receive His love.

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. Mark 12:30

We should never forget, that the saving faith of salvation we experience here on this planet is like a drop of water in the ocean, compared to what we will share with our LORD when we see Him face to face in His Heavenly Kingdom (1 Corinthian 2:9).

We are to love the LORD our God and serve the LORD all the days of our lives in holiness and righteousness (Luke 1:75; Deuteronomy 6:5).

Our salvation is every day with the Lord.  Every day we are to confess Jesus Christ is Lord and every day we are to step out in faith toward God.  The just, the saved, all who have received salvation, live by faith each and every day of our life (Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38).

Our salvation is the righteousness of God and is revealed from faith to faith (Romans 1:17) - through a lifetime journey of faith that doesn't end until we arrive home in Heaven (Philippians 3:20) to be forever with our Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:17).

From faith to faith, not from faith back to unbelief, because remember unbelief separates anyone from God.

The saved in Christ Jesus, all who have received the salvation of God, live by faith every day, love God all the days of their life, continue in the path of faith and righteousness every day, stepping out in faith daily toward our eternal home.

Salvation is not for one day, or a few months, or a few years.  Salvation is never ending, salvation is eternal.

We reach our eternal destiny by one step of faith to the next step of faith, living by faith every day (Romans 1:17).

Faith never stops, faith never ends, faith is continuous.   Faith that ends is dead, faith that stops is dead, without faith is unbelief, to be faithless is to be unbelieving.  Our lack of faith, our unbelief separates us from God.  Do not be deceived without faith you are without God.  Apart from faith you are apart from God.  Separated from faith you are separated from God.

What you are attached to in this life when you die, is what you will be attached to in the life to come.  If you are abiding in Christ Jesus, attached to God, then you will be attached to God in your eternity.  You are not permitted to switch teams after you die.  The one you are serving when you die is the one who you will serve for all eternity.  There are only two eternities: the one with God and the one without God

If you are with God when you die then you will be with God in eternity.  If you have chosen a life separated from God, a life apart from obedience to God, without Jesus, a life detached from God, then you will be without God in your eternity.  It is your choice based on your life now, today; not based on some past experience; and not tomorrow because no one is promised a tomorrow.

God meant for His salvation to be permanent, but human beings make it temporary.  If you abandon your faith, you are unbelieving, and the unbelieving will not see God (Hebrews 3:19).

Not everyone that says they are saved, have received the salvation of God.  There is a very popular false teaching that states you can make up your own rules of salvation, that anyone is saved who says they are, you can live anyway you want to and be saved, that God doesn't care as long as you say that you are saved, but BEWARE, this is not of God (Colossians 2:8).  God says that the saved in Christ live by faith in righteousness all the days of their lives.  You know the doctrine of Christ is true, continue in them (1 Timothy 4:16).  Don't believe in other people -believe in God and His word - eternity is too long to be wrong.

Abandoning the faith for the things of this world is unbelief, and unbelief separates anyone from God for eternity (1 Timothy 4:1).

God tells us all who have received His gift of salvation, to examine ourselves and work out our own salvation (2 Corinthians 13:5-6).

Salvation is the will of God

Our salvation is the will of God.

The will of God is for all people everywhere to obtain His free gift of salvation.   The word of God tells us all that God has not appointed us to wrath, but God has appointed us all to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ so that we should live together with Him.

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.  1 Thessalonians 5:9-10

God created us - all of mankind - you and me - to be with Him forever.  God made me to live together with Him.  In order to be with God we must be saved from sin and death through faith in Jesus Christ, which is salvation.

God loves us so much.  God desires us to be where He created us to be which is with Him now and for all eternity.

The will of God is for us to obtain salvation by faith in Christ Jesus, so that we can live together with Him for eternity.  All people were created by God and for God, for His good pleasure.  God made us to live with Him.

The will of God is NOT for us to perish (2 Peter 3:9).  God does not want any person to die in their sins, but that we should be redeemed through His Son, reconciled to God through faith in Jesus, so that we can receive eternal life, so that we can forever be with Him in His Paradise, in the Kingdom of Heaven for all eternity.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  John 3:16

Salvation is eternal

The salvation of God is everlasting, eternal.   The salvation of God is NOT temporary, because God is the author of eternal salvation (Hebrews 5:9).

The salvation of God is everlasting salvation (Isaiah 45:17).  The eternal salvation of God is eternal life, life without end (Romans 6:23).

The saved in Christ Jesus, all who have received the gift of God will pass from death of this life into everlasting life in the Kingdom of God (John 5:24). Passing from death in this world to eternal life into the Kingdom of Heaven, is the promise of God for all people who choose His free gift of salvation (John 5:24).

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.  John 5:24

For all believers, the instant physical death collapses our earthly bodies, our spirit will be present with our Lord God in Heaven, to be with Him forevermore (2 Corinthians 5:8).

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.  2 Corinthians 5:8

Salvation is not a single moment in our life, not one single day when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, but salvation is faith in Christ Jesus all the days of our lives.    Saving faith, salvation is faith without end.

Choosing to receive the gift of God, choosing salvation, is choosing a Christ-minded lifestyle, is choosing to live a new way of life, choosing not to live our old life, but a new life in Christ Jesus, putting on Christ every day, living for Christ, not living for self, all the days of our lives.

The day we accept the salvation of God is the beginning of our life with God, the beginning of salvation.  Salvation begins with our accepting the salvation of God.  Our life in Christ begins with salvation, when we are saved by grace through faith

Our life in Christ begins and ends with salvation through faith.  Christianity is Christ life-changing, Christ lifestyle, Christ life-thinking, Christ life-attitude, Christ life-motivation, Christ life-purpose, and being a complete Christ life-person.

Christianity is living our lives through Christ, by Christ, in Christ, for Christ, and with Christ for ALL THE DAYS OF OUR LIVES; and NOT just for one day, not just for today, but for the next day and the next, and for all eternity. (Galatians 2:20; 3:26; 4:7; 5:1; 2 Corinthians 1:21; 5:17-18; Ephesians 1:5; 2:7; Philippians 4:7; Romans 3:24; 8:1-2; 8:39; 2 Timothy 1:1,9,13 ; 2:10).

If you have eternal faith in God for your salvation - never ending faith - that He is all He is - faith that Jesus will save you from sin and death - faith that God saves and God loves you, then you have eternal salvation.

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.  1 John 5:13

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.  Acts 2:21

We can know we have eternal salvation because we are promised it by the Word of God (1 John 5:13).

Believers have assurance of their salvation affirmed by the Holy Spirit to our spirit.  God's Spirit assures our spirit that we have been saved.  God desires to give His salvation and His assurance of salvation to all people who come to Him and ask Him.  God speaks to our spirit and assures us that we are saved.
