This is a Bible study on the Facts of Faith. Click here for a printable Bible Study Guide. The truth of God is found in His Holy Word, the Word of God, the Holy Bible. The facts of faith, the truth of faith is found in the Word of God.
Biblical Truth of Faith:
Faith belongs to God - James 1:17; 1 Corinthians 1:9. God owns faith.
God is the source of faith. God gifts every soul the measure of faith - Romans 12:3. Faith - the faith required and used to believe in God - is a gift from God to mankind. Faith and every good and perfect gift is from God above and comes down from the Father - James 1:17. The measure of faith that God gives to every human being is sufficient faith to believe in Him to salvation. Every person is given from God the perfect amount of faith to believe in Him to salvation. God gifts us the measure of faith - Romans 12:3 All things good and perfect come from the Creator of all things, Almighty God. Nothing that is good and perfect exists without God. God is before all things and by Him all things exist - Colossians 1:17. God owns all things. God created all things and all things exist by God and for God - Revelation 4:11. Faith comes from God. Faith is gifted to mankind from God. God is the source of faith - faith comes to man from God. Romans 12:3 Faith begins and ends in God. God is the only source of faith, the faith we use to go through to salvation. Hebrews 12:2 God is faithful - 1 Corinthians 1:9. God loved us first - every good thing we have began in God, not us - 1 John 4:19; James 1:17. God was faithful first, then gifted us a measure of His faith, so that we could become faithful, like Him. God is not like us, we are like Him, we were created in His image, for Him - Genesis 1:27. Everything that God gifts to us is for our benefit - for us - to help us, and is given to us with purpose - His purpose - is given to us because God loves us and desires the very best for us. God loved us so much that He freely gave Himself for us, obtained eternal redemption for us, suffered for us, laid down His life for us, died for us, God took on our sin for us so we could be with Him - Titus 2:14; Hebrews 9:12; 1 Peter 2:21, 4:1; 1 John 3:16; Romans 5:8; 1 Thessalonians 5:10; Ephesians 5:2; 2 Corinthians 5:21. If God be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad - Psalm 126:3. God gifts every male and female the measure of faith to believe in Him, believe in Him so that we can be saved - Romans 12:3. God gifts us faith to use to come to Him and believe in Him so we can receive everlasting life, eternal salvation. We are all saved the exact same way, by the grace of God we are saved through faith in God - it is the gift of God - Ephesians 2:8. Salvation is the gift of God. Only the one who owns salvation can give salvation. God owns salvation. God alone gives salvation. God alone saves.
No one but God owns His salvation, and no one but God can give His salvation. Salvation is the gift of God, owned by God, given - gifted by - God to mankind. Salvation is received by us from God. We are saved by God, no one else, nothing else. God saves.
We desire to please those that we love. When we love God we want to please God. When we have a right relationship with God we want to please God. Without faith we cannot please God because those who come to God must believe that He is God - Hebrews 11:6.
We believe in God using our faith. Our believing in Christ Jesus to salvation is the effect of faith. Saving faith - believing in God for the salvation of one's soul - is the result - the consequence - of using one's God given gift of faith. God desires us to be where He created us to be - which is with Him - with Him now, today, and with Him for all eternity. We can be with God only through faith to salvation. Our being with God pleases God. The salvation of God reconciles us to God, makes us acceptable to God through the work of Christ Jesus on His cross. Jesus made a way for us to be reconciled to God the Father, once for all - Hebrews 10:10. Our salvation pleases God. The desire of God, the will of God, is for all people to obtain His salvation - 1 Thessalonians 5:9; John 3:15-18. God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance and receive His salvation - 2 Peter 3:9. The unbelieving, those without faith to salvation, those with an unrepentant heart, those who live out their days to the sins and pleasures of their flesh, do not please God - Romans 8:8; 1 Thessalonians 4:1-7. It pleases God when we choose life. God desires that we choose life - His life, His eternal life - salvation that is in Him, so that we can live with Him forever - Deuteronomy 30:19. We obtain the salvation of God by His grace through faith in Him for His salvation - John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8; Galatians 3:26. It pleases God when we obtain His salvation; the host of heaven, the angels of God rejoice when one soul is saved - Luke 15:10.
God has dealt - gifted, given - to every man - each man and each woman, every person - the measure of faith - Romans 12:3. The measure of faith to believe in God is given to all people. No one can say that they don't have enough faith to believe in God, because God gives every person the measure of faith to believe in Him to salvation - Romans 12:3. We are all without excuse. The faith that we need to believe in God is given to us by God. Nothing required for the salvation of God is missing in any person - we are all fully supplied with all that we need to come to God and accept His salvation. No one is without the measure of faith to believe in God because God has dealt to every man the measure of faith - Romans 12:3.
You, me, all people, everyone is given the measure of faith to believe in God to salvation, believe in God for the salvation of their soul - Romans 12:3. No one is exempt from the promises of God. God says that He gives everyone the measure of faith - a sufficient measure - to answer His call to Him, to receive His salvation. No one is excluded from God's plan of salvation - we are all included - we are all invited to come to God - all people everywhere are invited to come to God and receive His salvation. God turns no one away for any reason. God loves us all and includes us all in His plan of salvation - John 3:16. The only thing that can keep God away from you is you - is your unbelief - your faithlessness. We all have been given the same measure of faith that enables each of us to come to God and receive His gift of salvation. The measure of faith God gave to me is the same measure of faith the He gave you. We all are treated equally and given equal portions of faith to believe in God. God is no respecter of persons - Acts 10:34. Every person is gifted from God the measure of faith to believe in Him to salvation - Romans 12:3. God has already given to you the measure of faith. Have you used your gift of faith yet? Have you come to God and asked Him for His free gift of salvation?
God promises to save anyone who comes to Him and asks for His salvation.
God has dealt to every person the measure of faith to believe in Him for their salvation. You have the faith of God inside of you to come to God and believe in Him for your salvation.
Everything that God does has a Kingdom purpose. Everything that we do as believers - the followers of Christ - should have a Kingdom purpose.
We are all given gifts from God. God gives us His love, His mercy, His grace, His faith all with a Kingdom purpose. Faith is given to us with the purpose to believe in God for the salvation of our soul so that we can be with Him, now and forevermore. Faith is a gift of God. Faith is a good and perfect gift and every good gift given to us is from God above - James 1:17. All the gifts of God are given to us through Jesus Christ - Colossians 1:16-17. God the Father has given all things to His Son Jesus Christ and all things are in Jesus so that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ - 1 Peter 4:11; Hebrews 1:2; Colossians 1:17. God the Father is glorified through His Son and this is the perfect plan of God for all things concerning man. All the gifts of God are given to us through Christ Jesus. We receive the salvation of God by the grace of God through faith in Christ Jesus - Galatians 3:26. Saving faith is through Jesus. We receive the salvation of God by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ - the salvation of God is through faith which is in Christ Jesus - Galatians 3:26; 2 Timothy 3:15; Ephesians 2:8.
By the grace of God through faith in Jesus we are made heirs to the Kingdom of God with Jesus Christ - through faith in Jesus to salvation we become the children of God - for through Him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father - Ephesians 1:11, 2:18; Titus 3:7; Galatians 3:26.
We are sanctified by faith that is in Christ Jesus and we have received forgiveness of sin and inheritance into the Kingdom of God - Acts 26:18.
Faith is from Jesus, by Jesus, in Jesus, and through Jesus - by Him all things consist - all things exist by Christ Jesus - Colossians 1:17.
Faith in God to salvation is through Jesus - Acts 4:12. Salvation in God is by no other way except through Jesus Christ as there is no other name under Heaven among men whereby we must be saved - Acts 4:12.
The name of Jesus is the only name whereby we must be saved - Acts 4:12. Salvation is in Christ Jesus. No one receives the salvation of God apart from Christ Jesus - Galatians 3:26. You cannot receive the salvation of God without Jesus.
We are included into the family of God, we are adopted into the family of God through Christ Jesus - none other - we are all the children of God by our faith in Christ Jesus to salvation - Galatians 3:26; Ephesians 1:5. Salvation is received by all people through Jesus Christ, through faith in Christ Jesus, faith that Jesus can and will save them from sin and death and give them the salvation of God.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen - Hebrews 11:1.
Through faith we can see substance of things hoped for, we see hope, we see the salvation of God, we see the gift of God, we see eternal life, we see things that are not seen by our physical eyes. Faith in God opens our spiritual eyes so we can see God and see the things of God. We see substance through faith of things we cannot see with our physical eyes and we have evidence of things not seen, because we know they exist and are real substance by our heart knowledge, our spirit knowledge, given to us by the Spirit of God. Faith allows us to see beyond that which can be seen with the eyes because faith allows us to see and understand the things of God.
Faith to salvation gives us saving faith whereby we receive an understanding of God and the things of God from God Himself. Through saving faith we are able to understand the things of God. Through saving faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God - Hebrews 11:3. The Spirit of God through salvation gives us wisdom and understanding, knowledge into the spiritual realm of God, understanding unto the things of God, the deep things of God - 1 Corinthians 2:10. Through faith in Jesus Christ to salvation, Jesus gives us an understanding into the truth of God, into the things of God - 1 John 5:20. Truth and understanding come from God through faith in God to salvation - 2 Timothy 2:7. Through saving faith we see the truth of God - that God is the Creator of all things and that He made our world and all that is in it by His Word, all by Himself, all from Himself. All that is in the world was not made by things we see - dirt didn't create dirt, God created dirt. God made dirt from His hands from His words He created all things. God made all things - this world and all things in it - not by what we can see but from things which do not appear, things we cannot see, by the power and will of God. So that the things which are seen were not made of things which do appear - Hebrews 11:3. Through faith in God we are gifted understanding from God into the things of God, into the ways of God, into the mystery of God - Mark 4:11; Romans 16:25-26; Ephesians 1:9; Colossians 1:26, 4:3. We see clearly through faith all that God makes known to us. Without faith in God to salvation, you are unable to see the things of God that are revealed through saving faith -1 Corinthians 2:10-12.
The children of God can see the things of God clearly through faith to salvation. Through faith to salvation the veil is removed that was held in place by our sin and by our unbelief, the veil is removed and we can see the things of God. We can understand the things of God through salvation. Faith to salvation removes the veil of spiritual blindness. The Holy Spirit imparts in us an understanding of the things of God that cannot be known by people who are not saved - 1 Corinthians 2:10-14; Ephesians 4:18. The reality and truth of God are only seen through the eyes of faith, spiritual eyes that are opened by God when we receive His salvation. Our spiritual eyes are given to us and opened to see the things of God only after we receive the salvation of God. The eyes of faith are greater and far reaching and see more things than our physical eyes could ever see. Those without faith in God cannot see the things of God, because they are blind to the things of God through their own unbelief. Your choice of not believing in God for His salvation, results in you not seeing the truth of God. Without faith in God to salvation you are unable to see the truth of God, you are without God, you are in unbelief, and you are unable to understand the things of God because God has not given you sight to see them, because you choose not to use your God-given faith to see. The perfect plan of God, the salvation of all mankind, the plan of salvation is still hidden to unbelievers because they refuse to accept it. Through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart - because of their choice of unbelief - the glory of God remains hidden to unbelievers - Ephesians 4:18. Through faith to salvation we step out of unbelieving to believing in God, believing in the necessity of His salvation for us, believing in His truth. Believing in Jesus to salvation is the effect of faith. God's plan for salvation, God's plan for all humanity, God's plan for each of us is not hidden to the children of God because we have accepted the truth of God Almighty through faith. The unbelieving, those without faith in God to salvation, are without God and without the sight to see the truth of God. No person believes in God until they use the measure of faith (gifted to them by God) to believe in God. Believing in Jesus Christ for the salvation of your soul is the effect of faith. No one can see God until God gives them sight to see Him. God alone gifts us with sight to see Him. God gives spiritual sight to see Him only to those who believe in His Son, Jesus Christ for the salvation of their souls. Seeing God, understanding the things of God, seeing the things of God, receiving the salvation of God is the end result of one using God's gift of faith. There is so much that God desires to give you - if you will only see - see God and see the gifts of God through faith. Faith allows us sight and passage into the realm of God, the reality of God, the truth of God, and opens our spiritual eyes to see God, His truth, and His glory. Faith is substance and evidence - real and true. Faith is real, tangible, living, and can be weighed and measured, increased and proven, felt and seen and lived. Faith is the substance and the evidence of things hoped for - all the things of God hoped for and all the things of God seen. Faith allows us to see and receive the things of God, the truth of God, the Spirit of God, the gifts of God, the blessings of God. Faith allows us eyes to see God in His glory. Faith allows us to see God and be with God - be with Him now, today, tomorrow and forevermore.
Not every person has faith in God - for all men have not faith - 2 Thessalonians 3:2. We are all given the measure of faith from God (Romans 12:3), so that we can have faith in Him to salvation, but not all people use their God given faith to believe in God, to come to God - not all people have faith in God to salvation - 2 Thessalonians 3:2. Using the measure of faith that God gives you is your choice. Not everyone chooses to use their measure of faith that God has given them to believe in God. Not everyone chooses to believe in God for the salvation of their soul. Not everyone has faith in God. Faith in God for the salvation of your soul is your choice. Each person chooses for themselves whether or not to have faith in God for the salvation of their soul. Accepting the gift of God - which is eternal salvation - is a choice, a choice to receive the gift of God that each person must accept for themselves. You must choose salvation for yourself and only you can choose salvation for yourself. You cannot choose and receive the salvation of God for anyone but you. The faith that God gives you can only receive your salvation, no one else's. No other person can receive the salvation of God for you. You must use your own faith and believe in God yourself, go to God yourself, ask God yourself for His salvation and receive the salvation of God yourself. No one but you can receive your salvation. Salvation is performed by God personally in each person. Along with the measure of faith, God gifts each and every person free-will - every person that God breathes life into receives free will - Genesis 2:7. Each person has free will to choose God or reject God - to believe in God for the salvation of their soul, or not to believe in God for their salvation. God gives every person free will to choose for themselves life or death, blessing or cursing - and God asks us to choose life, His life, eternal life with Him now and for all eternity - Deuteronomy 30:19. God asks each person to receive His free gift of salvation, but God forces no one to accept His salvation. Salvation has and always be a choice, an individual choice of every person individually. No one can be forced to receive the salvation of God, because salvation is chosen in one's own heart and given to us by God. God looks at one's heart and response to our heart's earnest prayer to Him. No one but God can see what is inside one's heart. No one but God can read our minds and our hearts. No one but God can give you salvation based on your response of faith toward Him.
Knowing that there is one God is not the same as having faith in that one God for the salvation of your soul. Even the devils believe that there is one God (James 2:19), but they refuse to believe in God for their salvation. The devils chose to be their own gods, the devils refused to submit to the One True God as Lord, Savior, and Master over them. The devils believe that there is one God but do not believe in His salvation, and do not believe that they are dependent on the one God. Faith in God to salvation places God in His proper place in your life - which is first - which is Lord and Saviour, and positions God as the Master over your life. Faith to salvation places you under the Lordship of Jesus, as He is Lord of all - Acts 10:36. Faith in God to salvation grants you inheritance into the Kingdom of God, granting you full rights as heirs to the Kingdom of God, to all the gifts and blessings of God, through adoption into the family of God - Romans 8:15; 1 Peter 1:4; Colossians 1:12, 3:24. Not everyone has faith in God to salvation, because they do not want God to be the God of their lives. The devil and his followers refused to make God their God, their Lord, and the Master of their lives. Those who reject God as their Lord and Saviour do not believe that God will or can save their soul from sin and death. They erroneously believe that they are in control of their own lives, their own destiny, and that they have no need for God, no need to be saved from sin, no need for a Saviour. Those who do not have faith in God to salvation are blinded by their own sin and they are in bondage to sin and in bondage to the enemy of God because of their own unbelief of God's truth - 2 Corinthians 4:4. These people who choose not to have faith in God for salvation will never be free from the bondage of sin and death, because they choose not to believe in God for the salvation of their souls - John 3:17-20. Freedom from the bondage to sin is only through faith in Christ Jesus to salvation, if the Son shall make you free you are free indeed - John 8:26. The devil knows his destiny for forfeiting the gift of God, do you? Everlasting fire, eternal separation from God and all His glory is prepared for the devil and his angels and all his followers - Matthew 25:41.
No one is immune from unbelief. The Scriptures are clear and warn us all to "take heed" - beware, be alert, guard your faith, remain steadfast in the faith, hold on to your faith in Christ Jesus - "lest there be in any of you and evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God" - Hebrews 3:12. From the moment we receive the salvation of God the war is on, the spiritual war between us and the enemies of God, the fight of faith is on. The good fight of faith is the battlefield of every believer until we die or are caught up to be with the Lord forevermore, whichever comes first. Every believer of Christ Jesus puts on the whole armour of God and fights the good fight of faith in this fallen world - 1 Timothy 6:12; Ephesians 6:10-17. Faith is a gift and using that gift is a choice. Yes, we are all dealt the measure of faith to believe in God, but not all people use their God-given faith to choose God, to believe in God for salvation. God calls every person to Him. Everyone ever born hears God call to them, to come to Him and receive Him into their heart. We all are given the same choice - life or death - to choose to believe in God or choose to reject God. We are all given the same decision to make with our lives. We either accept God or we reject God and His truth, and both choices have their own consequences - Romans 6:23. God calls every person to Him, but God does not promise to call you forever. There is a point in which you have rejected God to the point that you will no longer hear Him. This point is based on your heart's response to God's call. Repeatedly telling God no, rejecting His love and His salvation, hardens your heart against God. You harden your heart by telling God no, by rejecting God and His salvation. So it is extremely important when you hear God to answer yes to God - if you hear Him today answer Him today - because you may not hear from God ever again. Today, if you hear His voice, harden not your hearts - Hebrews 3:15. No one is promised a tomorrow. People die every day, you could die today. Answer God and say yes - say yes to God's salvation today. The consequence of not having faith in God to salvation is being separated from God now, today, and the horror of spending eternity without God. Your life has a beginning and an ending. The end of unbelief, the end of one without faith in God to salvation is eternal death, the end of rejecting God and His gift of salvation is eternal separation away from God and all hope for all eternity.
For the wages of sin is death - the end of unbelief is eternal death - eternal separation from everything and most importantly from God and His Kingdom. Salvation which is the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord - Romans 6:23. Not everyone has faith in God and not everyone will be with God in their eternity. Salvation is a choice we must all make in this lifetime, while we are still breathing. Salvation is a living choice and cannot be made from one's grave, after one dies. There is no hope for salvation for all who die in their unbelief - "they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth" - Isaiah 38:18. The salvation of God is not offered, nor given to any one after death. You are not given the chance to choose God after you die. The choice of life and death from God is only made to the living. God is the God of the living, not the God of the dead - Mark 12:27. DO NOT BE DECEIVED - The enemy of God - who is the devil - satan is the god of the dead. The devil is the one who convinces people to wait to be saved, to wait until later, to wait until they get old, or to wait until they die. Only the devil tells you that there will be time later to choose God, to choose the salvation of God. God tells us all to receive His salvation today, right now, while you still hear Him call you. Today if you hear His voice, harden not your hearts - say yes to God today and accept His free gift of salvation today - Hebrews 3:15. Salvation is a choice only for the living, not the dead. Being alive is a requirement for salvation - "and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die" - John 11:26. You must choose God while you are still breathing - still living. There are no Scriptures in the Word of God that support salvation of the dead. Who you serve in this lifetime, in this world, is who you will serve in the next. The choice you make in this life toward God will be reflected in the world to come. The choice you make regarding God and His salvation in this life will determine your eternal destiny. The decision you make in your life today will affect your eternity - John 5:29. Resisting the truth of God, remaining in unbelief is sin against God and the end of sin is death because they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation, which is eternal death - Romans 13:2, 6:23; Revelation 21:8.
The salvation of God is given to us all by God and we receive the salvation of God by the grace of God through faith in God. We do nothing to gain salvation. All the works required for our salvation were all completed before we were even born, before we even existed. We can add nothing to the salvation of God because there is nothing owed for it. The salvation of God - our salvation - has already been paid for in full - all the works for the salvation of all mankind have been completed in and by Christ Jesus. By grace through faith we are saved - Ephesians 2:8; Romans 3:27, 4:14. We are saved by the Grace of God through faith. By the grace of God we are saved - Ephesians 2:5. Faith is given to us from God so that we can believe in God's grace, so we can use our God-given faith. Faith is given to us from God so that we can use that faith and receive the salvation of God - so that we can be with God. Faith is God's gift to us so that we can receive Jesus Christ and His salvation. Using our God-given faith allows us to believe in Christ Jesus to salvation. Believing in Jesus for salvation is the effect of faith. We are saved by God. We are all saved the exact same way - by the grace of God through faith in God we are saved - Ephesians 2:8. There is no other way to be saved. You are saved by the grace of God. By grace are ye saved - Ephesians 2:5.
Salvation is the gift of God, the gift from God, and from no one else or by nothing else, but God. God saves. God is sufficient to save us all by Himself. God is not dependent upon any mankind, but all mankind is dependent upon God. God gives salvation. Man does not save man. Man can only receive the salvation given freely from God. Man can do absolutely no work for his own salvation because the work for his salvation has already been completed. No one saves themselves - Ephesians 2:8. No one is saved by their own works - any works that they think that they do for God - Ephesians 2:9. You cannot save yourself. Your works do not and cannot save you. God saves. God saves. No one has the power to save, but God. Only God saves people, nothing else and no one else. The salvation of God belongs to God and only God has the authority and power to give His salvation to anyone. We own nothing. We brought nothing into this world and it is certain that we will carry nothing out - 1 Timothy 6:7. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us - Titus 3:5.
God gifts His salvation to mankind. Salvation is the gift of God. God made salvation available to mankind. God made salvation accessible to mankind. God paid the price for our salvation all by Himself. We cannot add to the works already completed by God for our salvation - it is done, it is finished, it is completed. All the works required for our salvation were finished and completed in Jesus and by Jesus Christ and through Jesus Christ.
Salvation is the free gift of eternal life from God to all people - whosoever believes in God, whosoever has faith in God for their salvation will be given the salvation of God.
No works from us is required for our salvation because God made salvation free for us all, by His works completed before we were even born.
There is only one Biblical saving faith - the one faith of God. God ordained one faith. God purposed one faith. Faith in God and faith in Jesus is the same faith - the same one faith - Ephesians 4:4-6. If you deny faith in Jesus Christ, you deny faith in God - John 2:23. We cannot have faith in God the Father without faith in His Son Christ Jesus - John 5:23; 1 John 2:22-23. This is the will of God and the perfect plan of God. Jesus and God the Father are one - John 10:30.
Faith in God is faith in Jesus Christ, these are not separate faiths but are one faith, there is but one faith of God. Jesus said, "I and my Father are one" - John 10:30. One God and one faith. No one can know God the Father except through Jesus the Son of God. The knowledge of God the Father was purposed in Jesus and through Jesus - Ephesians 3:11. God the Father placed all things to be in Jesus and through Jesus, this is the perfect plan of God that we receive all things through Jesus. No one goes to God the Father except through Jesus the Son of God. Access to God the Father is only through Jesus Christ the Son of God. To be one with God the Father you must be one with Jesus Christ. To believe in God the Father you must believe in God the Son - 1 John 2:23. Faith in God is faith in God the Father and the Son - they are one - One God - John 10:30. We live in the world. Our existence is here on this earth, for now. The earth and the world are one world. The earth and the world are not separate worlds, they are one world. God came out from Himself John 16:27 - descended down from the glory of Heaven - John 3:13, 6:33, 38, 41, 50, 51, 58 - down to earth - God manifest Himself in the flesh to all mankind in Jesus - 1 Timothy 3:16. God the Father and Jesus the Son of God this was, is and will always be the perfect plan of God. The doctrine of Christ Jesus is the doctrine of God - they are one in the same - they are the same gospel, the same doctrine, the same truth - 2 John 1:9.
How can God be both Father and Son as One? How can Father, Son, and Holy Ghost be One God? The answer is because they are God - God is One God. With men this is impossible, but not with God, because WITH God ALL THINGS are possible - Mark 10:27. God is not bound to the rules and limitations of mankind - God can do anything He chooses, God can be whoever He chooses, God can exist where ever He chooses - God is NOT bound - nothing is impossible with God - all things are possible with God - with God all things are possible - God is the Almighty God, the omnipotent God, nothing is too difficult for Him. For the Lord God omnipotent reigneth - Revelation 16:6.
God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost exist without us, exist without any effort on our part, without any works from us, and without our help. The love of God, the grace of God, the mercy of God, and the faith of God all exist without us, without our efforts, without our works, and without our help of any kind. The salvation of God exists without us, without our efforts, without our works, and without our help. Mankind does not make faith faith and mankind does not make salvation salvation. God is the author and finisher of our faith and our salvation - Hebrews 12:2; Psalm 3:8; Colossians 1:17. God is omnipresent - present everywhere. No one can hide from God. God sees every person that He ever created and breathed life into. We are never hid from God and nothing in us is hid from God. God sees our faith inside of us and God knows if our faith is living or dead. Only God can see and know what is in our thoughts, what is in our minds, what is in our spirit, and what is in our hearts. Man cannot see inside man, not even the devil can see inside of us, only God knows the hearts of mankind - Acts 15:8. God sees our hearts and God knows our hearts. God knows if our faith is alive or dead. Salvation is all God. God authored salvation all by Himself. The glory of salvation is shared with no man - God shares His glory with no man - God alone is worthy of all our praise - 2 Corinthians 10:17. God created all things and God alone is worthy to receive glory and honor - Revelation 4:11. Good works are a product of salvation, not the cause of it. Our good works for God come after our conversion, after our salvation, never before our salvation. God tells us in His word that our faith to salvation - genuine salvation - always produces good works and because of this fact faith without works is dead - James 2:26. The salvation of God produces good works in us and through us. We should never take credit for the work of salvation in us. Anything good that is produced through us is all God. The Lord be praised, never ourselves. We can see our own faith by the good works that salvation produces through us. Good works for God is the product of faith to salvation - good works are not a product of us alone. Good works are produced through us by Christ abiding in us. We are given the ability to produce good works by the strength and power received from Christ Jesus at salvation. We are nothing without Jesus and we do not have any good works without Jesus. God is the source of all good works. Our faith is activated, engaged, started when we come to God and accept the salvation of God for believing that by His grace through faith in Christ Jesus we are saved. This use of faith to salvation births faith in our hearts and our faith in God begins. After salvation we are to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit who instructs us into the things of God and defines our place and purpose in the Kingdom of God. When we follow Christ Jesus, follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we will produce good works for God. Our good works for God follow after our conversion, after salvation. Our first gift to God is our life that we surrender to God when He gives us His salvation. Only after salvation can we live for God and produce good works for Him. Salvation always precedes the works of faith. We are saved first and then we produce good works of faith. God alone saves us and faith without works is dead - James 2:26.
Salvation is first and then we have righteous works. We do not have righteousness until after we are saved. Our works are nothing without salvation. We are saved first and then we do righteous works for God. Our works for God are after we have received the salvation of God, never before salvation. Righteous works for God is proof of our salvation, not the reason for it. Our good works for God comes after our conversion, never before. We do not have any good works to give God before we are saved, because we are unrighteous before salvation - all of our works are as filthy rags before we are saved. After salvation we receive the righteousness of God, never before. Good works are always righteous works. God never accepts unrighteous works. God never accepts works from unrighteous people, because God is Holy and holds no sin. Salvation grants us the privilege and authority to put on the righteousness of Christ. The righteousness of God is gifted to us at salvation, never before salvation. We must be washed and made clean by salvation before we receive the righteousness of God. We know when a wire is live by the power it produces. An electric wire by itself is powerless. An electric wire only has power if it is attached to a power source. An electric wire is only as powerful as the power is that it is connected to. An electric wire is not electricity. An electric wire is the conduit of electricity. An electric wire is not the power source, but a conduit along which the power flows. An electric wire that is NOT connect to electricity is dead, the wire not attached to a power source does not conduct electricity, does not produce any power at the other end - it is a dead wire. A live wire is only a wire that has electricity. Power runs through a live wire. The wire is not the creator of the electricity. The wire is used by the power source to produce electricity on the other end. The wire by itself is not electricity, the wire by itself has no power, the wire by itself is nothing really. Only when the wire is connected to the power is there power produced out the other end. A power wire is only a power wire when it is attached to, connected to a source of power. Without the wire being connected to the power source it is just another useless wire - a wire without power is dead. Faith is a gift from God that we use and go through to receive eternal salvation. Our faith is the conduit that connects us to God. As long as we are plugged into Jesus then we are connected to God. No one is connected to God the Father without first plugging into Jesus - John 14:6. We are plugged into Jesus by faith to salvation. Seeing the truth of God, the truth of salvation, is the consequence of using our faith. Our believing in Jesus is the effect of faith. Faith allows us to be connected to Jesus who is connected to God the Father, without a connection to Jesus it is impossible to be connected to God the Father. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me - John 14:6. Faith is nothing without God. We receive the salvation of God and the Spirit of God through faith. Our faith is nothing until it is connected to God the Father through Christ Jesus at salvation. Saving faith is faith in action. We use our God given faith to come to God and receive His salvation, but that is not the end of our faith. Our faith after salvation is to be used, stretched, strengthened, widened, fed, nourished, watered, lengthened, spread, increased, grown, and worked out every day. Our faith in Christ Jesus to salvation is a life long journey, not a one day event. Salvation in God is lived out day to day, faith to faith. Faith in Jesus is every day. If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me - Luke 9:23. Daily following Christ works out our faith in God. Salvation allows us to engage our faith every day. We can have fellowship with God every day. We can worship God every day. We can pray without ceasing every day. We can have fellowship with Jesus every day. We can talk about Jesus every day. We can share the love of God every day. We can minister and serve God every day. We can do all this because we have received the salvation of God. We can do all this by faith in God, each and every day. Our daily exercise of faith increases our faith in God and produces good works. Faith that is not connected to its source - which is God - cannot live and becomes dead. Just because someone has faith does not mean that they are using that faith. Unused faith becomes disconnected faith, disconnected from God, abandoned faith resulting in dead faith. Unconnected faith becomes dead faith. Using our faith as instructed by the Holy Spirit produces good works. Using our faith maintains its connection with God. The Scriptures warn us to be careful to maintain good works, that we be not unfruitful - Titus 3:8, 3:14. You are responsible to be careful to maintain good works, not God. You are responsible for your own good works, not Jesus. You are responsible not to be unfruitful. After salvation we are to maintain good works. Faith lived out to God, our salvation walked out, lived out in faith to God, produces good works. Living faith is working faith - living faith is faith in action. All believers, the saved in Christ Jesus, have a duty to work out our own salvation - Philippians 2:12. Salvation is life lived in Christ Jesus to God. Our saved life lived out to God produces good works. The saved produce righteous works for God. Everyone produces works, but we do not all produce good works. We are either producing works of the Spirit or we are producing works of the flesh - Galatians 5:16-26. We either produce righteous works for God or we produce unrighteous works, evil works, bad works. The unbelieving, the wicked, the reprobate - all without the salvation of God - cannot and do NOT produce good works for God. The unbelieving produce unrighteous works, bad works, evil works, because they chose to remain in unbelief, because they have chosen life apart from God and His truth, and can do nothing but unrighteousness. The righteousness of God is found only in God. We have the righteousness of God only by submitting ourselves to God, obeying God through faith and obtaining His salvation. We cannot have righteousness apart from God. No one has righteousness apart from God. God says in His Word that we are known by our fruit, the works that we produce confirm who we are in Christ Jesus - Matthew 7:15-20. Our righteous works, our good works proclaim our salvation in God. Our works that come out from us show the world who we are, who we are connected to, who we have aligned our hearts with, who we love, who we serve, who and what we believe. Just like you can tell what a tree is by the fruit it produces, we can see who we are by the works that salvation produces through us, either good or evil. Living faith is evident by the fruit, the good works that salvation produces through us. Faith without good fruit - without producing good works - is dead faith - James 2:17. Good righteous works from a person is the evidence of living faith. Faith that is put away, cast off, abandoned, left, discarded, and never used is dead faith. Faith alone without good works is dead faith. Faith in action is living faith and faith in action always produces good fruit. How long would you last if you stood still in the same spot, you didn't move, you didn't feed, you didn't have water, if you did nothing? Without doing, without nourishment, you would eventually die, you would be dead. This is how faith without works is dead. Faith must be worked out, used, put into practice, exercised, watered, fed, nourished, strengthened, grown and increased to remain living faith. Scripture tells us that we are to work out our faith, work out your own salvation, exercise our faith, continue in the faith, do the will of God, obey His commandments, love God, love one another, and keep ourselves in the love of God - Philippians 2:12; Acts 14:22, 24:16; Colossians 1:23, 3:23; John 14:15, 21, 15:12; Luke 8:21; 1 Timothy 4:16; 2 Timothy 3:14; Jude 1:21.
God alone chooses who is in His family. When we believe in God and accept His salvation then we are adopted into His family. The Scriptures tell us that we become the children of God through faith in Christ Jesus - Galatians 3:26.
By the grace of God through faith in Christ Jesus to salvation, we are adopted into the family of God - Ephesians 1:5; Romans 8:14-17; Galatians 4:6-7. Faith in God to salvation grants us inheritance into the Kingdom of God as God's own sons and daughters - 2 Corinthians 6:18. Membership into the family of God is open to all people - whosoever believes in God - whosoever uses their God given faith to accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour, whosoever calls out to God, whosoever repents of their sin and asks for the forgiveness of their sin from God, whosoever chooses life with God, whosoever accepts the free gift of eternal salvation from God. The salvation of God cannot be purchased, bought with anything that we have or think that we have - as salvation is the gift of God - Acts 8:20-22. Salvation belongs to God and only God can give salvation to anyone. It doesn't matter who you are - or who you think that you are - you cannot have the salvation of God by any means of yourself. Salvation is all God. God is not willing that any one perish and be separated from Him for all eternity - 2 Peter 3:9. God desires that we all come to Him and receive His free gift of salvation, and receive forgiveness of sin and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Christ Jesus - Acts 26:18. The saved in Christ thank God every day for our inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ, giving thanks to the Father, which made us partakers of the inheritance of the saints - Colossians 1:12. Knowing that of the Lord we will receive the reward of the inheritance: for we serve the Lord Christ Jesus - Colossians 3:24. The promise of eternal inheritance is offered to all people - whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved - Romans 10:13; Hebrews 9:15. Accept the salvation of God today for yourself and receive an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you - 1 Peter 1:4.
No person alive has seen the full glory of God and His Kingdom, the beauty of God is unspeakable and unimaginable with our small human minds. But one day soon all people who through faith received the salvation of God will see Jesus face to face, and we will shall know even as we are known the unspeakable glory of the fullness of God - 1 Corinthians 13:12. The family of God will be the only family in Heaven. The children of God will be granted entrance into and inheritance of the Kingdom of God.
Whoever we think that we are on this earth will be dissolved when we walk through the gates of Heaven. All of our earthly attachments, pride and position will be dissolved and remembered no more. Our attachments of the flesh will be gone. We will know even as we are known - 1 Corinthians 13:12.
Only through faith to salvation can one see God in all His glory. What a sight that will be! I cannot wait to see my Lord God in all His glory!!!
What a day that will be, when my Jesus I will see, when I look upon His face, the one who saved me by His grace, then He'll take me by my hand and lead me through the Promised Land, What a day, glorious day that will be!!
There is one God and one Truth and one Faith - Ephesians 4:5, 13. Our duty as faithful servants of God, who have received the gift of salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, is to endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, knowing that there is One God and Father of all, one Spirit, one body, one hope, one baptism, one Lord and one faith. There is no truth but the truth of God. The truth of God is all that matters - Ephesians 4:2-8.
No one is above God. No person's truth is above the truth of God. No one knows all that there is to know about God, no one.
The one faith of God belongs to God, not man. No man has claim on the things that belong to God, and all things belong to God.
Above all, God desires that His children walk in His truth, in His peace and in His love with one another. If we do this - if we love God, if we live and abide in God's love and love one another - we are endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
No one has authority to hold their beliefs, their faith, their doctrine, above the will of God. Your opinion does not matter. What matters is the truth of God, the will of God, the love of God, the love of God shared and shown to a lost and hurting world.
Do not lose focus on what truly matters. Do not let anything come between you sharing the truth of God in the love of God. If you do not have the love of God, you have nothing. The love of God, the love of God for one another is what matters to God. Without the love of God, our words, our faith, our works have no meaning - 1 Corinthians 13.
There is but one God and there is but one faith - Ephesians 4:5.
The saved in Christ live by faith every day of our lives - Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38.
The just - believers, the saved in Christ Jesus - live by faith, from faith to faith every day. The salvation of God is life and life is lived every day. Salvation is the operation of God whereby He forgives our repented sin, washes us, cleans us, renews our heart and our spirit, gives us new life in Christ Jesus, so that we can have fellowship with Him, today, tomorrow, and for all eternity - Colossians 2:12; Titus 3:5-7. Salvation sets us free from the bondage of sin and death, so that we can put on Christ, live in the righteousness of God, be holy and live holy unto God - Romans 8:2; John 8:31-32, 36; 1 Peter 1:14-16. Faith to salvation grants us power through Christ Jesus to say no to sin, to rebuke all sin and unrighteousness, to walk away from evil, and to live our life abundantly, full, complete in God's love, in God's peace and in God's joy - James 4:7; 2 Timothy 1:7; Being with God is the whole point of salvation. No one is saved so that they can live in sin. We are saved so we can put away sin, leave it behind us, so we can live and be with God. God is omnipotent - all powerful - Alleluia for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth - Revelation 19:6. God holds eternal power. There is no power but of God - Romans 13:1. There is no greater power than the power of God. God is without sin - 1 Peter 2:22; 1 John 3:5. Through salvation we receive the strength and power of God to overcome sin. Greater is God that is in us through salvation, than satan that is in this world - 1 John 4:4. As the children of God we are never alone, for God is with us always. All things are possible with God, even overcoming sin - all sin. God enables us, gives us the power to leave sin and pursue the things of God, live in righteousness with God, abide in Christ, fulfill the will of God, and fulfill our Kingdom purpose for God. Faith in God to salvation means that we are born-again unto God, old things are passed away and all things become new - John 3:3, 7; 1 Peter 1:23; 2 Corinthians 5:17. Believers in Christ move forward toward Jesus, toward their everlasting home, which is prepared for us in Heaven, where we look for our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ to be coming in the clouds any day - Philippians 3:20; John 14:1-3; Mark 14:62. The saved in Christ - all the believers of God - are watching and waiting for the return of our Lord, who will catch us up and we will meet Jesus in the clouds, and so shall we ever be with our Lord - 1 Thessalonians 4:17.
God is God and God cannot lie - Titus 1:2. All the promises of God will be fulfilled. God promises us in His Word that He has personally dealt to every person the measure of faith - Romans 12:3. The measure of faith that God gifts to us is sufficient for us to believe in Him for the salvation of our souls. God desires that every person come to Him and obtain His salvation. We all receive the salvation of God the exact same way by His grace through faith in Christ Jesus. We are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus - Galatians 3:26. God gives us salvation and God gives us assurance of the salvation that we have been given. We have assurance of faith and assurance of our salvation in God - Romans 5:1.
Our God is the God of peace and all comfort - 1 Thessalonians 5:23; 2 Corinthians 1:3. Through faith to salvation we receive the righteousness of God that gives us peace - Romans 3:22. The effect of righteousness is quietness, restfulness, peace and assurance for ever - Isaiah 32:17. We may not understand all the mysteries of God, but through faith we are given knowledge of God from God, comfort from God, and full assurance of our salvation in our spirit - Colossians 2:2-3. What good is a gift if we could not be assured that we truly have it? God is the God of all comfort - 2 Corinthians 1:3. God would not leave us comfortless - John 14:18. God gives us comfort and God gives us assurance of salvation.
God says that these things I have written unto you - all of you that believe on the name of Jesus for the salvation of your soul, that you may know without a doubt that you have eternal life because you believe on the name of the Son of God. This is written in the Word of God for all to know that they are saved, so that we all have comfort in knowing that we are the children of God. God said it and I believe it! Believing in what God says is faith in God - Hebrews 11:6. Faith is not a response to get God to do something; faith is believing in what God has already done, already said in His word. The faith that brought us to salvation is the same faith that gives us assurance of our salvation. God promises that we have His gift of salvation because we believe in Him for salvation - 1 John 5:13. You can believe in God and you can be saved by God, because gives every person the measure of faith necessary to believe in Him for their salvation - Romans 12:3. Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! O what a foretaste of glory divine! - This is a beloved hymn by Fanny Crosby, who by the miracle of God lived and wrote many inspiring and beautiful songs praising God. Think about this - Who doesn't want us to have assurance of our salvation? That's right, the enemy of God does not want you to have any assurance of any of the promises of God. What would be the side effects, the results of not having assurance of our salvation? The enemy can keep you in fear and away from peace, from joy, from comfort if he convinces you that you or no one can be really assured of the salvation of God. We have assurance of salvation and we know God is greater than his enemy. We know that God gives blessed assurance to all His children, and we know that the devil is a liar from the beginning. Never let the devil still your joy. Never believe in the devil. Believe in God. You have assurance in your salvation because God promises it to you in His word. God gifts us faith to receive His salvation and God gifts us assurance of our salvation after we receive it - Romans 12:3; John 3:16; 1 John 5:13.
Faith begins and ends with Jesus - Hebrews 12:2; Romans 3:30; 2 Timothy 3:15.
Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith - Hebrews 12:2. The author and finisher, beginning and end of our faith is Christ. There is no beginning of faith without Christ and there is no end of faith without Christ. Faith in God to salvation is through Jesus. Faith in God to salvation gives us salvation from sin and death and gives us eternal life with God the Father because of Jesus.
For the children of God, Jesus Christ is our life - Colossians 3:4.
The end of faith is the salvation of our souls - 1 Peter 1:9; Hebrews 6:12
The end of our faith is when we see Jesus face to face, when God gives us the salvation of our souls, when we receive the crown of life and enter into the Kingdom of God to be with our Lord God forevermore - 1 Peter 1:9. There will be an end to this life - your life - lived on this planet - Ecclesiastes 3:2; 1 Timothy 6:7. By the grace of God through faith in Jesus we are given the salvation of God which is eternal life, but our eternal life does not begin in Heaven until after we leave our mortal bodies and after we leave this earth. Only those with faith in God to salvation will be in Heaven with God. Only the faithful, the believing will be with God after they leave this earth - 2 Corinthians 5:8. All people who choose not to have faith in God to salvation - who choose unbelief - have placed themselves apart from God for all eternity. When you choose unbelief (over belief in God to salvation) you have chosen to alienate yourself from God for all eternity - Ephesians 4:18. The faithful, the believing, when our redeemed spirit leaves this earth we will be ever with the Lord. When our spirit leaves this earth and we are with the Lord, we have come to the end of our faith and we receive the crown of life, the salvation of our souls for all eternity -1 Peter 1:9; James 1:12; Revelation 2:10. All who are in Heaven have faith in God to salvation. No one in Heaven is without faith in God. Our flesh and bones bodies are not required in Heaven and are left here on earth - 1 Corinthians 15:50, 53. God promises to give all of His children a new body, that will never decay, never grow old, and will never die - John 11:26. We shed forever our old flesh and bones bodies so that we can be given a new body, righteous, and incorruptible body, fashioned like the body of Jesus - Philippians 3:21. There is a beginning and an ending to our mortal flesh body. A beginning so that we can live and come to know God and accept through faith His salvation. An ending so that we can receive a new better body that will never die. Both so that we can be and live with God now, today, and forevermore. There is a beginning and an ending to our faith. Faith is birthed when we use it, when we reach out to God, believe in Him, and receive His gift of salvation. Faith ends when we are transported to Heaven to begin our eternal life with Jesus in His Kingdom. Our life long journey of faith in God to salvation is exchanged for the crown of life (James 1:12; Revelation 2:10) - given to all who see Jesus face to face (1 Corinthians 13:12) - when we leave this earth in the salvation of God. The end of our faith is the salvation of our souls (1 Peter 1:9), the crown of life (James 1:12; Revelation 2:10), given to us in the Paradise of God (Revelation 2:7), the Kingdom of God (John 3:3), the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 7:21), given to us by Jesus Christ because we chose life - His life (Deuteronomy 30:19), the life of God, eternal life (1 John 5:11, 13), by God's grace through faith to salvation (Ephesians 2:8), and so shall we ever be with the Lord - 1 Thessalonians 4:17.
Faith is NOT a response to get God to DO something - Faith IS believing in what God has already DONE!
??? Not sure where to go from here? May we suggest . . .
