What is Heaven?

There are three heavens mentioned in the Word of God. The heaven AND the Heaven of heavens.

1) The heaven is the space over the earth, the sky, the firmament, the visual heavens And God called the firmament heaven...Genesis 1:8

2)  The heavens that hold the planets and the stars, not visual by the eye, but seen through telescopes.

3) The third Heaven, The Heaven of heavens is the dwelling place of God the Father, the throne of Christ Jesus, the home of God, the Kingdom of Heaven, the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of Christ Jesus.

Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD'S thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is. Deuteronomy 10:14

Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee. Nehemiah 9:6

So, what is the difference between the heaven and the Heaven of heavens?

The heaven, the firmament, the sky we see, the clouds, one it is visible, we can see it, it is visual. 

The unseen heavens past the sky contain the stars, the moon, other planets, and solar systems.  With the help of a telescope or satellite, we are able to see the galaxies and other universes that God created.  Secondly, the heavens above the earth and out into the galaxies, is finite, they all have a beginning and end.

The Heaven of heavens, the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of Heaven, the throne of God, is invisible to us, cannot be seen by our mortal human bodies, or any technical device that we can create.  The Kingdom of God cannot be visually seen by man.  In addition, the Kingdom of God, Heaven, the dwelling place of God, the Kingdom of Christ, like God is infinite, without beginning and without end.

Here, in this page, we are discussing the Heaven that is the dwelling place of God.

 

Heaven is the Dwelling place of God

Heaven is the home, the dwelling place of God.

Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;)  That they may fear thee all the days that they live in the land which thou gavest unto our fathers. 1 Kings 8:39-40

Heaven is the throne of God

Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? Isaiah 66:1

Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest? Acts 7:49

The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. Psalm 11:4

But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: Matthew 5:34

And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon. Matthew 23:22

And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. Revelation 22:1

 

Kingdom of Heaven

God inhabits the Kingdom of Heaven.  The Kingdom of God is the Kingdom of Heaven.

And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 3:2

From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 4:17

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:3

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:10

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:19

For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:20

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 7:21

And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 8:11

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 10:7

Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. Matthew 11:11

 

The Kingdom of God is Heaven

Heaven is the kingdom of God, the dwelling place of God, His angels and those that have died that were saved, a place of everlasting communion with God.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33

For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. 1 Corinthians 4:20

Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,  And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Mark 1:14-15

And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Mark 9:47

The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. Psalm 103:19

 

Heaven is our Promised Inheritance

The Kingdom of God - Heaven - is the inheritance of all faithful believers in Christ Jesus. 

One of the many Promises of God is the inheritance of His eternal kingdom.  All faithful believers are promised by God an inheritance of His Kingdom because we through faith accepted His free gift of eternal salvation.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.  1 Peter 1:3-5

1 Peter 1:4 gives us the divine definition of the Kingdom of God - an incorruptible inheritance - undefiled - that fadeth not away - eternal life - everlasting life - reserved for all the faithful with God in His Heaven.

Faithful believers can be assured of their inheritance of Heaven by the promises of God in His Word and by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

All believers receive the inheritance of God because we believe in Jesus Christ for the salvation of our souls, we accept God's will over our life, follow Him, through salvation by the grace of God through faith in Christ Jesus, we all have received forgiveness of sins and the inheritance of God - eternal life in His Heavenly Kingdom - Acts 26:18.

Do not be deceived.  Not all people will receive the inheritance of God.  All people who reject Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, all people who reject the Word of God as the only truth of God will not receive the inheritance of God - Ephesians 5:5.

Those of us who have the knowledge of the truth, who believe in all of God, who have received the salvation of God through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ, are to give thanks every day because we have been made partakers of the inheritance of God.

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:  Colossians 1:12

Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.  Colossians 3:24

We are made partakers of the inheritance of God through Christ Jesus alone, no one else but God saves anyone.  There is no other way to Heaven but through Jesus.  No one is in Heaven today, or will be in Heaven tomorrow, or anytime in the future without believing in, having faith in Jesus for the salvation of their soul.  Only the children of God, faithful believers, receive the inheritance of God - Galatians 3:26.

The promise of God of inheritance into the Kingdom of God is in Christ Jesus, not in any other person, not in any religion, not in any denomination, not in another doctrine.  Apart from Jesus Christ is being apart from the Kingdom of God.  There is only one God, there is only one Savior and there is only one Kingdom of God, one Heaven of God.  

Do not be deceived, who you serve in this life will be the one who you will serve in the life to come.

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; Hebrews 3:14

Assurance of salvation, assurance of life eternal with God is in Christ Jesus, is in a continual fellowship with Jesus all the days of our lives.

 


Is there really a Heaven?

 

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1

Yes, Heaven is real.  Jesus said -

In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also. John 14:2,3

You alone are the Lord; You have made Heaven, The Heaven of heavens, with all their host, The earth and everything on it, The seas and all that is in them, And You preserve them all.  The host of heaven worships You. Nehemiah 9:6

 


Is GOD in Heaven?

Yes, the Word of God tells us all that God the Father is in Heaven, today and forever.

Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few. Ecclesiastes 5:2

 

The throne of God has always been in Heaven, is in Heaven, and will always be in Heaven.

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Matthew 6:9

And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Luke 11:2

That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. Matthew 5:45

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5:48

Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 6:1

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Matthew 7:11

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 7:21

Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 10:32

But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 10:33

For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. Matthew 12:50

Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 18:10

Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish. Matthew 18:14

Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 18:19

And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Matthew 23:9

And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. Mark 11:25

But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. Mark 11:26

 


Where is Heaven?

Heaven is high above the earth

For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. Psalm 103:11

Heaven is above and earth is beneath.

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Exodus 20:4

 


Where did GOD say the saved will go to Heaven?

 

Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1:2-5

The faithful, the saved in Christ Jesus, are heirs to the Kingdom of God and all things.  Believer's inheritance of salvation from sin and death into the Kingdom of God is guaranteed, incorruptible, undefiled, eternal, and reserved in Heaven.

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Matthew 25:31-34

 

Jesus told all who believe on Him, that He has gone from this earth to prepare a place for us all, in His Father's House.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:1-3

 

Earth is the temporary home for believer's of Christ Jesus, our true home, our eternal home is in Heaven.

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Philippians 3:20

 


Where is Jesus Christ today?

After Jesus was crucified and buried, He rose from the grave.  After visiting here on earth a little while, He ascended up into the Glory of Heaven and sits on the right hand of God the Father in Heaven.

The Spirit of God dwells inside the heart of every born-again believer.  Jesus Christ dwells inside of every believer through faith by grace.

By the grace of God through faith in His Son, we are saved.

When we accept the free gift of God, salvation, we ask Jesus to dwell, live inside us and be our personal Lord and Saviour, and Master over all of our life, surrendering all we have to Him, for the rest of our lives.

The only begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ, descended from Heaven, came out from God to earth, from the throne of God the Father, to be manifested in the flesh, born to the flesh like man, in the likeness of man, to become the Son of man, the Saviour of the world, to save all the people of this world from sin and death.

And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. John 3:13

After the works of Christ Jesus were finished, He ascended back up to the throne of God in Heaven, into the Kingdom of God and sits on the right hand side of our Father God.

He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) Ephesians 4:10

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;  Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Hebrews 1:2-3

But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Hebrews 1:8

By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.  And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:  But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;  From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.  For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Hebrews 10:10-14

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:  Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. 1 Peter 3:18,22

The riches of God are in the Kingdom of Heaven.  Our Lord Jesus Christ left His first estate in Heaven, with His Father, with all the treasures and riches of God, and came to this earth and became poor, all for us, so that through His poverty we might be rich in abundant life, which is salvation, redeemed by grace, sanctified through faith in Him.

For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9

 

Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, today sits on the right hand side of our Father God.

So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. Mark 16:19

Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God. Luke 22:69

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Romans 8:34

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:  The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,  And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,  Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,  Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:  And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,  Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. Ephesians 1:17-23

 


Is this earth Heaven?

Heaven and earth are two distinct places, both created by God. 

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1

Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: Jeremiah 32:17

 

The earth and heaven are separate.  God is in heaven, the saved in Christ live on the earth.

And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Matthew 23:9

 

Heaven is above and earth is beneath.

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Exodus 20:4

 


Why can't this earth become Heaven?

 

The Kingdom of God is not of this world

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. John 18:36

 

This earth will be destroyed by God

This world, the earth we know today, will be destroyed one day by God, that is why this earth, the world as we know it, cannot become heaven, because it will be gone.

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Matthew 24:35

We are told by the word of God that this heaven and this earth will go away, but then there will be a new heaven and a new earth.

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. Revelation 21:1

 

Jesus went to prepare a place for us in Heaven

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is preparing a place for all His believers and will come back one day to us here on earth and take His followers to Heaven.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:1-3

 

The Kingdom of God is with God, God is in Heaven above 

The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. Psalm 11:4

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:16

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5:48

 


How long will Heaven exist?

 

Heaven, the Kingdom of God, is eternal

Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations. Psalm 145:13

 

Heaven, the throne of God is forever and ever

But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Hebrews 1:8

 

Heaven, the Kingdom of God cannot be moved

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: Hebrews 12:28

 

Heaven, the Everlasting Kingdom

For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:11

 


Who owns Heaven?

The heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD's thy God.  God owns everything.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. Matthew 6:13

Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD's thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is. Deuteronomy 10:14

The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; The world and all its fullness, You have founded them. Psalm 89:11

And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth; Genesis 14:19

But Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have raised my hand to the Lord, God Most High, the Possessor of Heaven and Earth, Genesis 14:22

Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD'S thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is. Deuteronomy 10:14

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in Heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, And You are exalted as head over all. 1 Chronicles 29:11

The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men. Psalm 115:16

 

As the children of God we will inherit the kingdom of God which is in heaven above.

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Matthew 25:34

 

By the grace of God through faith in God we are all heirs together of the grace of life.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.  And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise Galatians 3:28-29

 

By the grace of God through faith in God we are justified by His grace and made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26

 

By the grace of God through faith in Christ Jesus we are heirs to the Kingdom of God according to the promise of God.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Romans 8:14-17

 


Who is in Heaven?

 

Our Lord God is in Heaven

And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven. Exodus 20:22

Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him. Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee: and upon earth he shewed thee his great fire; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire. Deuteronomy 4:35-36

Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else. Deuteronomy 4:39

The Lord looks down from Heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God. Psalm 14:2

The Lord looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men. Psalm 33:13

God looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God. Psalm 53:2

For He looked down from the height of His sanctuary; from heaven the Lord viewed the earth, Psalm 102:19

The Lord has established His throne in heaven, And His kingdom rules over all. Psalm 103:19

But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases. Psalm 115:3

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:16

Jesus is in Heaven

And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. John 3:13

Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. John 20:17

(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) Ephesians 4:9-10

 

Jesus is on the right hand of God

We know from scripture that God the Father is in heaven above, and Jesus is on the right hand of God in heaven.

But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,  And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. Acts 7:55-56

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Romans 8:34

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1

Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. 1 Peter 3:22

 

The host of Heaven

Those in Heaven, the host of Heaven cannot be numbered.

As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me. Jeremiah 33:22

 

Angels of the Lord God are in heaven

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Matthew 24:36

For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven. Mark 12:25

And God heard the voice of the lad, Then the angel of God called to Hagar out of Heaven, and said to her, “What ails you, Hagar? Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the lad where he is. Genesis 21:17

But the Angel of the Lord called to him from Heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” So he said, “Here I am.” Genesis 22:11

Then the Angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time out of Heaven, Genesis 22:15

But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, Hebrews 12:22

 


Who is NOT Heaven today?

 

Fallen angels

And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Jude 1:6

 

Lucifer

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!  how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven,   I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. Isaiah 14:12-15

 

All people who have died in unbelief

So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. Hebrews 3:19

 


Why won't everyone go to Heaven?

 

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:21-23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

 

Only those who do the will of God in Heaven, which is to obtain salvation, by believing in Jesus Christ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Whosoever believes in Jesus Christ as Lord of their life, will not perish, but have everlasting life.

By the grace of God we are saved through faith in God.

So, why won't everyone go to Heaven?  Because everyone does not believe and have faith in God.

 


What are the many ways to Heaven?

The are many religions and doctrines regarding the steps to take to go to Heaven.  Some cultures and religions believe that you have to sacrifice certain things in your life in order to go to Heaven, or live a life of poverty, or do certain things, or perform certain rituals, or say certain words over and over, or bow down to certain statues, or pray to specific saints or gods, or live a certain way, or shave your head, or grow long hair, or wear certain clothing, or pray in a certain direction, or pray at a certain time, or pray for a certain length of time, or give so much money to someone, or feed the poor, or become a missionary, or become a preacher or teacher, or join a certain organization, or be a good person, or do good deeds, or do charitable works.  The list goes on and on as to what people believe will gain them entrance into Heaven.  Many people have many opinions as to how to gain entrance into Heaven.  But we should only be interested in the opinion of one, the Lord Jehovah God Almighty, who holds the keys to heaven and hell.

The word of God by the Lord God Almighty says that there is only one way to Heaven, through Christ Jesus, His only begotten Son.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:15-18

Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. John 6:29

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. John 6:47

I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. John 8:24

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: John 11:25

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. John 20:31

But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they. Acts 15:11

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Acts 16:31

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5:13

Salvation, eternal life, heaven is in the name of Jesus Christ, through belief in Christ Jesus.

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:10,12

We are ALL saved by the grace of God through faith in God.  Faith in God alone is what saves everyone and faith in God is how everyone will enter the gates of Heaven.  No one is saved, no one receives eternal life any other way, only through faith in God, by the grace of God are we saved.

How can I go to Heaven?

 

Believe in God

Faith in God is the only way to Heaven.

No one comes to the Father except through Jesus.  The only way to God, the only way to go to Heaven, is through faith in God, believing in Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour of your life forever.

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6

Except a man be born again, receive salvation, he CANNOT see the kingdom of God.

 

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:5

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. Revelation 21:7

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. 1 John 2:17

 


What is Everlasting Life?

Life eternal, immortality, life without end, passing from death to life, and life without end is everlasting life.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24

And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:40

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. John 6:47

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:22-23

The only way to receive everlasting life is through salvation, which the gift of God, by believing in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

 


How can I have Everlasting Life?

 

Believe in God.

Faith in God to salvation is the only way to everlasting life.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

 


Why can't my good works get me into Heaven?

 

No person is justified, saved by their works

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians 2:16

 

The just, the saved live by faith in God

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Galatians 2:20-21

 

The promise of salvation from God is by faith in Jesus Christ.

Works cannot save anyone.

But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. Galatians 3:22

 

We are saved by the grace of God through faith, not works

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Titus 3:5

That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:7

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

 

We are the children of God by faith

Believers, the saved, are the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26

 


What is Heaven like?

 

Heaven is beyond our imagination

For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him. Isaiah 64:4

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1 Corinthians 2:9

 


What can I do to get ready for Heaven?

 

Receive salvation

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:17

 

Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven.

In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” Matthew 3:1,2

From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Acts 17:30

 

Preach the Kingdom of God

“And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Matthew 10:7

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:19-20

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15

 

Pray for the coming of the Kingdom of Heaven

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10

 

And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Luke 11:2

 


Who will enter the Kingdom of Heaven?

 

Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:21-23

Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:3

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:10

 

The saved will walk in Heaven

And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. Revelation 21:24

 

All whose names are written in the Book of Life will enter Heaven

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Revelation 13:8

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:15

 


Who will NOT enter the Kingdom of Heaven?

All who are without Jesus will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

The unsaved will not enter Heaven

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. Revelation 21:27

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3

And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3

 

The unbelieving will not enter Heaven

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Mark 16:16

The unbelieving will not enter the Kingdom of God. 

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Revelation 21:8

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. Hebrews 3:12

So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. Hebrews 3:19

Unbelief separates anyone from the living God for eternity.

 

Those without faith in God

Without faith in God, no one can see God. 

You must believe God is ALL that He says that He is, in order to enter Heaven.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6

 

The unrighteous will not enter Heaven

God says in His word that the unrighteous will NOT enter the Kingdom of God.  All people who attach themselves to sin, instead of attaching themselves to God, will not enter Heaven.

God defines the unrighteous as all people who are fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, effeminate, abusers of themselves with mankind, thieves, covetous, drunkards, revilers, extortioners. 

God defines the unrighteous as all people who participate in adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like.

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,  Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21

For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:20

You may say that includes everyone in the world, but remember that Christ Jesus gave us a way out of sin and death, by His own death on the cross.  The blood that Jesus shed on His cross, was the sacrifice for all the sins of all the world, to all people who believe in Him as their personal Lord and Saviour.

When we accept Jesus as Lord and Master over our lives, when we ask Jesus to forgive us of all our sins, He does.  All our sins are forgiven and we can receive eternal life in the Kingdom of God.

 

Flesh and blood cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 1 Corinthians 15:50

Our flesh and blood bodies cannot enter Heaven.  Our earthly corrupt bodies cannot enter Heaven.

The bodies of all the saved in Christ will be changed.  The bodies of the saved in Christ will be resurrected into new heavenly bodies, incorrupt and immortal bodies that are like the resurrected body of Christ Jesus.

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 1 Corinthians 15:51-53

 

Those that work iniquity.

Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:21-23

But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. Luke 13:27

 

Mockers of God will NOT enter Heaven

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Galatians 6:7-8

How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. Jude 1:18

 

Whosoever does not believe in God as a little child.

God seeks people with child like faith, who place their complete trust and faith in Him alone for their salvation.

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. Mark 10:15

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein. Luke 18:17

No one will enter Heaven who does not believe in God as a little child.  How does a child believe?  With all their heart, with all their soul, and with all their mind, and with all their strength.  A little child has total faith, complete trust, unwavering, undoubting faith, this is the faith in God that He wants from all of us.

 

All who deny God will not enter Heaven

They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. Titus 1:16

Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.  But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33

If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 2 Timothy 2:12

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. Jude 1:4

 

For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels. Luke 9:26

 

All who do abominations will NOT enter

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. Revelation 21:27

All people who change the word of God

For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Revelation 22:18-29

Perverting the word of God, twisting the word of God, changing the word of God by adding to or subtracting from His words, God's words given to us, as His own revelation of Himself to us, is extremely serious with the Lord God Almighty. 

ALL people who change His word, God promises that He will remove their names from the Book of Life.  No one will enter Heaven, enter the Kingdom of God, receive eternal life, unless their names are in the Book of Life.

 

All people who teach or preach doctrine other than that of God

Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.  As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:7-9

No excuses, no exceptions.  All people who twist and pervert the gospel of Christ will NOT enter Heaven.

All people who change the word of God to promote themselves, there own glory, will not enter Heaven.

He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. John 7:18

And those who teach others contrary to the word of God will not enter Heaven.  Those people who lead others away from God with their doctrines of men, teachings of men, will not enter Heaven.

All people who do not believe in God, all of what God says in His word, will not enter heaven.  And it will be far worse for those who take others with them to hell with their false doctrines.

Just because someone says they speak the doctrine of God, does not make it so.  Many false teachers are in the world today, perverting the word of God for their own glory, leading many people away from the truth of God.

This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Matthew 15:8-9

God calls such people who preach the doctrines of men as the doctrine of God, as defiled, and the blind leading the blind.

Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. Matthew 15:11

But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. Matthew 15:19

Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. Matthew 15:14

God says that we are to avoid the doctrines of men, all doctrines contrary to the doctrine of Christ.

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. Romans 16:17-18

If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;  He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,  Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. 1 Timothy 6:3-5

God says in the latter times of this earth, that some will depart from the faith, giving in to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, making up their own self-righteous religions like forbidding marriage and meats, which God created all food to be good, nothing refused , if it is received with thanksgiving and sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.  For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:  For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. 1 Timothy 4:1-5

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 2 Timothy 4:3-4

So, we are to avoid the doctrines of men, all words that are contrary to all the words of God. 

Some false doctrines disguise themselves by teaching part of the word of God with part of their doctrines of men.  This is wrong also, partial doctrine is wrong.  We cannot pick with scriptures we are to use and not use.  We must use all the word of God, all scriptures.  

Belief in only part of the Holy Bible is false doctrine.  The gospel of Christ, the doctrine of God is the entire, complete Holy Bible, the whole word of God.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Do not be deceived, all people who do not abide in the doctrine of God, the gospel of Christ, DO NOT HAVE GOD.

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 2 John 1:9

The word of God reads that we are not to receive them into our house, those people who have a doctrine other than that of Christ.

If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. 2 John 1:10-11

By knowing the doctrine of Christ, by committing ourselves to the teachings of the doctrine of God, we will know, by the spirit of God, when we hear false doctrine.  By continually seeking the face of God, in prayer and in worship, we can stand steadfast in our faith, knowing the will of God.

God tells us that we are to adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. 

Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. Titus 2:10

By putting on Christ, wearing the teachings of God as clothing, draping ourselves in the knowledge and love of God we can protect ourselves from the false doctrines of this world, exhort, exalt the true word of God and convince the gainsayers.

Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. Titus 1:9

 


What can we do for the Kingdom of GOD?

 

We are to pray for the coming of God’s Kingdom.

Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10

 


Why is it hard for rich people to enter Heaven?

First, make note that God said that it is hard for the rich to enter Heaven, but not impossible.  God did not say that the rich would not enter into Heaven, God said that it would be very hard for them to do so.

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. Matthew 19:23-24

And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!  And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!  It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. Mark 10:23-25

And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God  For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. Luke 18:24-25

The rich man's wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit. Proverbs 18:11

The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out. Proverbs 28:11

Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:  But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD. Jeremiah 9:23-24

Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death. Proverbs 11:4

He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch. Proverbs 11:28

Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; 1 Timothy 6:17

Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. Proverbs 23:4

He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. Matthew 13:22

And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. Mark 4:19

But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. Luke 6:24

 

The love of money is the root of all evil

But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:9-10

So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. Luke 12:21

 

We are to be rich toward God and build treasures in heaven

All the money on this earth cannot buy eternal life.  Our riches, our treasures are to be stored up with the Lord God, not in things here on this earth.

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:  But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Matthew 6:19-21

 


What are the rewards of Heaven?

Jesus our Lord God will return very soon, and with Him is our rewards.  Every person will receive their just reward according to their own works.

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Revelation 22:12

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Matthew 16:27

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so persecuted they the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5:3-12

Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. Matthew 6:1-4

And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men.   Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.  But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.  But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Matthew 6:5-7

Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast.  Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly. Matthew 6:16-18

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Matthew 6:19-21

We are NOT to do good deeds for rewards, but because we love our Lord. We are to do good deeds with sincerity and honesty, genuinely, hoping for nothing in return.  God knows everything and He knows our motives.  No one fools God.  Take heed, doing good deeds to "get something" from God in return, is doing good deeds for the wrong reasons, and will result in no reward and/or the loss of rewards.

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Luke 6:35

Whatever we do, we are to do it heartily for God, not for men to see us and praise us for our good deeds.

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. Colossians 3:23-25

God tells us that those who do wrong, the unrighteous will receive the wrong for what they have done.  And it doesn't matter who you think that you are or what you call yourself, God is no respecter of persons, we will all reap what we sow.  We will either receive the reward of righteousness, or the reward of unrighteousness.

We must hold onto our faith in God, in order to receive the reward of our salvation.

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. Hebrews 10:35

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6

Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. 2 John 1:8

Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, Colossians 2:18

 


What are our treasures in Heaven?

 

Build treasures in heaven, not here on earth.

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. Matthew 6:20

As believers our treasure in Heaven is our King Christ Jesus, the salvation of our souls, and eternal life with God for all eternity.

 


When do the saved go to Heaven?

 

The moment, the second, the instant that the saved in Christ die, they are immediately with the Lord Jehovah God in Heaven.

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8

For believers of Christ Jesus, our spirit, our soul and our mind go directly to the Lord God in Heaven, when we die.

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. James 2:26

Believers who are still alive, when the Lord returns for His church, those believers who remain alive will be caught up together with all the other saints gone before, and with the Lord God.  The word of God states that we will not all sleep, that we will not all die a human death here on earth, before the Lord comes for His church.

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:17

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 1 Corinthians 15:51-54

Everyone is appointed once to die in the flesh, and only once, and after that the judgment of God.  The Word of God concretely refutes incarnation of any kind.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Hebrews 9:27

The lost and the saved, the just and the unjust, all people will be judged by God after we die in the flesh.

The lost of this world, all who reject God, all who reject Christ Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, all who refuse to repent of sin, the corrupt, the wicked, the unjust, the unbelieving, will go directly to hell when they die, to the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, prepared for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41), to await the judgment of God (2 Peter 2:9).

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Revelation 21:8

 


What will we do in Heaven?

It is hard to imagine being in Heaven with our Lord.  To think one day soon, I will be in Heaven with my God and see my Jesus face to face for all eternity.  I can't imagine what that will be like.

Our finite minds cannot begin to comprehend the wonder, the majesty and the glory of Heaven, because it cannot be compared to anything that we have seen.  We are given a glimpse of Heaven, a taste of things to come, by our Lord God through His living Word.

The Word of God tells us that we will see Jesus face to face (1 Corinthians 13:12).  We will seek His face forevermore (Psalm 105:4).

The Word of God tells us that the Great I AM, the Beginning and the End, the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the One true living LORD JEHOVAH God is the Creator, the Saviour of the world, the Master, the Owner and the Ruler of Heaven (Exodus 3:14; Deuteronomy 4:35, 39, 10:17; 1 Kings 8:60; Isaiah 9:6, 40:28, 45:6, 18, 22; Psalm 83:18, 100:3; John 1:1-3, 4:42, 13:13; Revelation 1:8, 11; 21:6; 22:13).

The Word of God tells us that the LORD shall reign forever and ever (Exodus 15:18).

The Word of God tells us that we will sing praises forever, glorifying God, blessing God, loving God for all eternity (Psalm 86:12, 146:2).

The Word of God tells us that we will bless the name of the LORD, bless our God and Saviour for evermore (Psalm 39:52, 113:2, 115:18).

The Word of God tell us that we will worship and serve God day and night in His temple and in His holy city of New Jerusalem (Revelation 7:15, 21:22).  Only God is worthy of our praise, none else.

The Word of God tells us that God will give us His Heavenly city of Jerusalem, His city of pure gold, like clear glass, and we will walk on the streets of gold (Revelation 3:12, 21:2, 18, 21).

The Word of God tells us that we will be granted the right and privilege to sit with Jesus in His throne, with His Father and our Father God in His throne (Revelation 3:21).

The Word of God tells us that God Himself will wipe away all tears from our eyes, that there will be no more death, no sorrow, no crying, no pain, no more darkness, for all former things are passed away and He will make all things new (Revelation 21:4-5).

The Word of God tells us that we will see the Kingdom of God, walk on its streets of gold, worship at the feet of Jesus, the throne of God forever and ever, and be surrounded in the Light of the Son.

The Word of God tells us that the light of Heaven will be the Light of the Glory of God (Revelation 21:23, 22:5).

The Word of God tells us that we will not only be preserved in the Kingdom of God, but that we will be co-heirs with Christ of the Kingdom of God.   All believers of Christ Jesus who overcome the world will be granted entrance into the Kingdom of God and inheritance of the Kingdom of God (Revelation 21:7).

The Word of God tells us that we will be in fullness of joy of pleasures for evermore (Psalm 16:11).  For all eternity we will be in a state of utter bliss, fullness of joy, unimaginable pleasures, engaging in experiences our senses has never felt before, beyond anything that we know of or can even imagine.  Wrapped in the comfort, warmth and love of our Heavenly Father God forevermore.

Nothing can compare to the Glory of the Lord, and nothing can compare to the Glory of His Heavenly Kingdom.

I truly believe life begins when we reach Heaven, where we will experience ultimate closeness in the Light and presence of God Himself, feel His touch, see His face, experience pure joy, pure happiness, pure holiness in the pure everlasting love of God.

 

God's love for us is eternal

God will love us for all eternity.  A moment will not pass where God does not love us, He will love us always. 

No more doubt, no more fear.  A moment will not pass that we do not know that God loves us.  God will show us His love and we will be assured of His love all throughout eternity. 

We will experience pure blessed assurance Jesus is mine.

The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. Jeremiah 31:3

 

We will love God for all eternity

We will be loving God today for all eternity! 

Our love for our God will continue in Heaven.  Our love for God will be pure and unencumbered by the flesh and self.  When we are removed from our flesh and bones body and this sinful world, we will experience a new height to love, God's pure love, greater than we have ever known.  Yes, we love God today, but it is tainted by our sin, selfish nature, and distractions of this world. 

When we reach Heaven, nothing will be in our thoughts except God, and our full attention, love and devotion will be committed fully to God and His Glory and His Kingdom.

The ordinances of God will exist in Heaven, because God does not change (Hebrews 13:80).  The greatest commandment given to mankind here on this earth will stand up in Heaven as the greatest commandment - "Love God with all your heart, soul, body, mind, and strength".

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.  And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  There is none other commandment greater than these. Mark 12:30-31

The commandments and promises of God are eternal.

Loving God is eternal.

 

We will sing praises to our LORD God

In the song "Amazing Grace" a line reads, "when we've been there ten thousand years, bright shining as the sun, we've no less days to sing God's praise, then when we first begun."

What will we do in Heaven?  We will sing God's praise.  I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever (Psalm 89:1).

I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. 2 Samuel 22:50

I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high. Psalm 7:17

I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people. Psalm 35:18

I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good. Psalm 54:6

My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise. Psalm 57:7

But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob. Psalm 75:9

I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore. Psalm 86:12

I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. Psalm 104:33

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. Psalm 139:14

Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. Psalm 145:2

While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. Psalm 146:2

The people of God will praise Him forever and ever (Psalm 45:17).

Every day for all eternity we will praise His Holy name, bless our Lord God, sing praises to His name (Psalm 145:2).

Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. Psalm 145:2

Singing songs of praise to God is eternal.

 

We will see God face to face

The very fact that we will see the Almighty God face to face, when we get to Heaven, is beyond my mind to comprehend.  We will actually see our Lord and Saviour face to face!  That fact is too incredible for me to understand!  I cannot imagine what that will be like.  We will see the glory of the Lord!

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 1 Corinthians 13:12

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:2

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. Revelation 1:7

We will be with Jesus forever in Heaven.  We will be with the LORD our God for eternity.  We will see Jesus face to face for eternity.

A moment will not go by in Heaven where we can't see or be with our Lord God.

Seeing Jesus, being with our Lord God, is eternal.

 

God has great wonders prepared for us in Heaven

 

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1 Corinthians 2:9

No one knows ALL the wonderful things that we will do in Heaven, except God Himself.

It is really hard to imagine sometimes, actually being in the presence of our Lord God and His Son, Jesus Christ our Saviour.

Will we speak and talk verbally with our Lord, or will there be a wonderfully different way to communicate?  When we look into the face of our Eternal Father will we be able to see through our tears of unspeakable joy?  When our Heavenly Father wipes away our tears will we feel His touch, His warmth, His love flow through our heavenly bodies?  What new songs will we sing to our Most High King every day?  What will He show us, bright and beautiful?

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:3-4

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1 Corinthians 2:9

God will be with us, among us, and He will wipe away our tears, there will be no death, no sorrow, no crying, and no more pain. 

The former things of this life will be passed away.  All the traditions and cares of this world will be gone.

 

God is the Light of Heaven.

The glory of God will be our Light.  God is the center of the universe in Heaven.  He alone is the Light of Heaven.

And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. Revelation 21:23

There is no sun or moon to shine in it, because the glory of God and the glory of the Lamb is the Light of Heaven.

Believers and followers of Christ walk in the light.

 

God is the temple of Heaven

There is no temple, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. Revelation 21:22

 

No darkness in Heaven

There is no night, no darkness.

And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. Revelation 21:25

Only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life will enter into the Light of Heaven.

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. Revelation 21:27

 

He that overcomes shall inherit all things

But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever. Daniel 7:18

The word of God reads that only those who overcome will inherit all things.

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Revelation 3:5

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. Revelation 21:7

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:5

 


What will we wear in Heaven?

The word of God reads the saved in Christ who overcome sin, will be clothed in white raiment, white robes, clean, white, fine linen.

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Revelation 3:5

And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. Revelation 19:8

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. Revelation 7:9-10

 


Will we be married Heaven?

Will we be married in Heaven, like we are here on earth?

Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.  Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:  Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.  And last of all the woman died also.  Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her. Matthew 22:24-28

Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. Matthew 22:29-30

Jesus tells us in the Word of God, that in the resurrection we are not married, or given in marriage.  Jesus says that in Heaven, we are as the angels of God in Heaven, who do not marry, and who are not given in marriage.

In Heaven we will all be One in Christ, we will not exist in individual family groups as we do on this earth, but we will exist as One family, the household of God, the children of God, the family of God. 

Our marriage, our devotion, our love will exist for only One, our Lord God and Saviour, and through Him we love one another.  All believers will be truly and exclusively One with God.

In Heaven, we will not have the baggage of the sin of the flesh, no one will be tempted to sin, because in Heaven there is no sin, there is no flesh.  With our earthly flesh and blood bodies changed in the resurrection, we will have put on incorruption, a sinless, pure, holy, heavenly body, through faith in Christ Jesus.

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 1 Corinthians 15:52-54

 


What will we look like in Heaven?

The word of God speaks of seeing Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the Kingdom of God, they are called by their names used on earth, recognized as they were here.  We will be a form of who we were here, but in a different body.

There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.  And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. Luke 13:28-29

When Christ Jesus was bodily resurrected from His grave, He appeared to multitudes of people.  Those that knew Him, recognized Him in His new body.  Christ's appearance was familiar, the same, but different as His body had been changed, from the corruptible to the incorruptible, from a earthly flesh and blood body to a heavenly body, from death to life.

God said when our earthly bodies are resurrected, that we will all be changed, in a twinkling of an eye, our corrupt flesh and bones bodies will be transformed into heavenly, incorruptible, immortal bodies.  We will bare the image of the heavenly.  At the resurrection our new transformed, heavenly changed bodies will be united with our souls that are with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8).

And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.  Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 1 Corinthians 15:49-53

Our vile, sinful, corrupt, earthly body will be transformed, changed, fashioned into a glorious incorrupt, sinless, immortal body, like Christ's glorious body.  Our new heavenly body will be like Christ's glorious body.  Our new heavenly body will not be exactly as Christ's glorious body, because He is Christ, but our bodies will be fashioned like His own.  We were made in the image of God in our human, earthly creation; and, we will be made in the image of God in our heavenly creation (Genesis 1:27).

Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. Philippians 3:21

 


How many people will be in Heaven?

No one except God knows how many people have lived and died on this earthly planet. 

No one except God knows how many souls have chosen to believe in Christ Jesus and have been saved. 

No one except God knows how many people will receive eternal life and live with Him for eternity in the Kingdom of God.

No one except God knows how many people will be in Heaven at the end of this world.

From the word of God, we are told that a great multitude of people from all nations, races, which no man can number will be in the Kingdom of Heaven.

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;  And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. Revelation 7:9-10

Anyone who places a number to the souls in Heaven is a liar, because God says through His Word, that no man can number the great multitude of people in Heaven, except God Himself.  Only God is all knowing.
