For we must all appear before the judgment seat of
Christ;
that every one may receive the things done in his body,
according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
2 Corinthians 5:10 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to
God.
Romans 14:12 |
The Judgment is defined as the
final judging of humankind by God.
God said that humans die once and then
the
judgment.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die,
but after this the judgment:
Hebrews 9:27 |
The word of God reads that the day of Judgment is when every man and
woman will be judged by God.
The question is not if we will be judged by
God, but when. When will I come and appear before God?
All shall be judged
All shall be judged, that includes everyone that
was ever born. ALL people will be judged.
The judgment of God will be for the just and
the unjust, the saved and the lost, no one is exempt from the
judgment of God.
Believers of Christ will be judged
For we must all appear before the judgment
seat of Christ;
that every one may receive the things done in his body,
according to that he
hath done, whether it be good or bad.
2 Corinthians 5:10
But why dost thou judge thy
brother?
or why dost thou set at nought thy brother?
for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
Romans 14:10
|
Unbelievers of Christ will be judged
To execute judgment upon all,
and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds
which they have ungodly committed,
and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
Jude 1:15
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out
of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto
the day of judgment to be punished:
2 Peter 2:9
|
Angels that sinned will be judged
For if God spared not the angels that
sinned,
but cast them down to hell,
and delivered them into chains of darkness,
to be reserved unto judgment;
2 Peter 2:4
And the angels which kept not their first
estate,
but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness
unto the judgment of the great day.
Jude 1:6
|
Every idle word spoken will be judged
But I say unto you, That every idle word that
men shall speak,
they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
Matthew 12:36 |
Our Hidden
Secrets
Nothing is ever hidden from God. Nothing
we ever
said and nothing we have ever done is hidden from God. God sees and
hears all things.
In the day when God shall judge the secrets of
men
by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
Romans 2:16 |
Everything we have said in
our whole life will
be revealed and judged. Every word we have ever uttered, good and bad
will be revealed and judged.
Everything we have thought in
our whole life
will be revealed and judged.
Everything we did
in our whole life will be
revealed and judged.
Everything you have said, you have
thought, and you have done throughout your whole life, both
good things and bad things, will be revealed and judged by God Almighty.
All of your life will be judged, the good and
the bad, everything.
For we must all appear before the judgment
seat of Christ;
that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he
hath done,
whether it be good or bad.
2 Corinthians 5:10 |
Every person's
work
And if ye call on the Father, who without
respect of persons
judgeth according to every man's work,
pass the time of your
sojourning here in fear:
1 Peter 1:17 |
Everything in your life will be judged, from the moment
you were born to the moment you died (or caught up with Christ).
Every man's work shall be made manifest:
for
the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire;
and the fire
shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
1 Corinthians 3:13 |
Jesus,
the Son of God, will judge the world
For the Father judgeth no man,
but hath
committed all judgment unto the Son:
John 5:22
For as the Father hath life in himself;
so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
And hath given him authority to execute judgment also,
because he is the Son of man.
John 5:26,27
|
Jesus said:
I can of mine own self do nothing:
as I hear, I judge:
and my
judgment is just;
because I seek not mine own will,
but the will of the Father
which hath sent me.
John 5:30
And yet if I judge, my judgment is true:
for I am not alone, but
I and the Father that sent me.
John 8:16
And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world,
that
they which see not might see;
and that they which see might be made blind.
John 9:39
He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my
words,
hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken,
the same shall judge him in the last day.
John 12:48
|
The
Lord shall judge his people
For we know him that hath said,
Vengeance belongeth unto me,
I will recompense, saith the Lord.
And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
Hebrews 10:30 |
Because Jesus is the Son of man, the Son
of God
For as the Father hath life in himself;
so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
And hath given him authority to execute judgment also,
because he is the Son of man.
John 5:26,27 |
Because Jesus
seeks the will of God
I can of mine own self do nothing:
as I hear, I judge:
and my
judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will,
but the will of the Father
which hath sent me.
John 5:30 |
Jesus is the only one that has ever completely
done all the will of God.
We strive as believers of Christ to do the
will of God throughout our lives, but we all fall short from doing the will
of God completely, all the time.
Jesus never failed God. Jesus did
the will of God continually, from the day He entered this world until the
day He left this world. Jesus never sinned against God.
We can earnestly endeavor to seek the will of God
and do the will of God, but we are human in flawed human flesh bodies, and we
are unable to be perfect.
We will remain flawed in our bodies, until Christ
returns or until when we die, whichever comes first. When we will be
transformed in the twinkling of an eye, from our flawed bodies of flesh
and will be transformed into our heavenly incorruptible bodies that will live
for eternity and will never sin again.
Just and True Judgment
I can of mine own self do nothing:
as I hear, I judge: and my
judgment is just;
because I seek not mine own will,
but the will of the Father
which hath sent me.
John 5:30 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true:
for I am not alone, but
I and the Father that sent me.
John 8:16
|
The only judgment that can come from God is just
and true, because He is the only Just One and True One.
God is perfect and can only give perfect
judgment.
If we die before the Lord's return, we will be
judged after death.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die,
but after this the judgment:
Hebrews 9:27 |
If we are "caught up" with the Lord in the air,
at the rapture of the church, we will be judged in Heaven at the Judgment seat
of Christ.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of
Christ;
that every one may receive the things done in his body,
according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
2 Corinthians 5:10 |
If we have NOT yet died, when Christ returns, at
the Second Coming of Christ, we
will be judged at His appearing.
I charge thee therefore before God,
and the
Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead
at his appearing
and his kingdom;
2 Timothy 4:1 |
The Great White Throne of Judgment is judgment
against all unbelievers of Christ, and will occur at the Second Coming of
Christ, before the Millennium reign of Christ.
Jesus will
return with 10,000s to judge all the world
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam,
prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh
with ten thousands of his saints,
To execute judgment upon all,
and to convince all that are ungodly among them
of all their ungodly deeds
which they have ungodly committed,
and of all their hard speeches
which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
Jude 1:14-15 |
Angels
shall sever the wicked from the just
So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth,
and sever the wicked from among the just,
And shall cast them into the furnace of fire:
there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 13:49 |
The Devil will be
cast into hell
The devil will join the beast (the antichrist)
and the false prophet in the lake of fire and brimstone.
And the devil that deceived them
was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone,
where the beast and the false prophet are,
and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Revelation 20:10 |
The dead will be
resurrected
Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming,
in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
And shall come forth;
they that have done good,
unto the resurrection of life;
and they that have done evil,
unto the resurrection of damnation.
John 5:28-29
And I saw the dead, small and great,
stand before God;
and the books were opened:
and another book was opened,
which is the book of life: and the dead were judged
out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it;
and death and hell delivered up the dead
which were in them: and they were judged
every man according to their works.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.
This is the second death.
And whosoever was not found
written in the book of life
was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 20:12
|
Receive
our reward according to our works
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance:
for ye serve the Lord Christ.
But he that doeth wrong shall receive
for the wrong which he hath done:
and there is no respect of persons.
Colossians 3:24-25 |
Everyone will
receive their reward according to their own work.
And, behold, I come quickly;
and my reward is with me,
to give every man according as his work shall be.
Revelation 22:12
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation:
for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life,
which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
James 1:12
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of
righteousness,
which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day:
and not to me only,
but unto all them also that love his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:8
And when the chief Shepherd shall appear,
ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
1 Peter 5:4
|
Casting Crowns
Believers will cast their crowns at the
feet of God Almighty, our Creator.
As believers, we know that we deserve no reward,
all the crowns of the world belong only to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus
our Christ and King.
The four and twenty elders fall down before
him that sat on the throne,
and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord,
to receive glory and honour and power:
for thou hast created all things,
and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Revelation 4:10-11 |
The wrath of God, the vengeance of the Lord, is punishment
with everlasting destruction from the presence of God, for all people who have
chose to reject the salvation of God through faith in His Son.
The wrath of God will be given to all people of this world who
chose NOT to know God, through unbelieving hearts chose NOT to obey the gospel
of our Lord Jesus Christ.
And to you who are troubled rest with us,
when the Lord
Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God,
and that obey not
the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the
Lord,
and from the glory of his power;
2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 |
Vengeance belongs to God alone (Psalm 94:1; Nahum 1:2-3;
Romans 12:19; Hebrews 10:30).
All the unbelieving, the unrighteous, the ungodly, the
children of disobedience, will see the wrath of God (John 3:36; Romans 1:18;
Ephesians 5:6; Colossians 3:5-6).
Eternal punishment in hell is reserved for the devil, all the
angels that followed satan out of Heaven, all people who chose unrighteousness,
choose sin which is serving the devil, who refuse to cease from sinning, who
forsake God, who refuse to repent of sin, who choose to live in unrighteousness,
who choose to disobey God, all people who believeth not the Son (John 3:36;
Matthew 25:41; Romans 6:16; Ezekiel 8:22; 18:21; 33:9,11, 14-15, 19; Acts 26:18;
Isaiah 1:28; 1 Chronicles 28:9; 2 Chronicles 15:2).
