The dictionary defines a kingdom as a politically organized community or major territorial unit having a monarchical form of government headed by a king or queen; the eternal kingship of God; the realm in which God's will is fulfilled; a realm or region in which something is dominant; an area or sphere in which one holds a preeminent position; on of the three primary divisions into which natural objects are commonly classified, as in animal kingdom, mineral kingdom, plant kingdom.
In the word of God, we find many different kingdoms. The first kingdom in the word of God refers to the kingdom of Nimrod, a descendent from Noah. The leaders, the kings of the land possessed kingdoms that they ruled. In the United States we do not live in a kingdom, we live in a nation. Europe is still referred to as the United Kingdom, but we know it as the European Nation.
Here, we will be discussing the eternal Kingdom of GOD, not man's kingdoms.
Some may think this is a strange question, but for some people, we must clarify who owns the Kingdom of God.
We do NOT own the Kingdom of God. No human being, living or dead, owns the Kingdom of God.
God alone owns His Kingdom.
The LORD God Almighty is the owner of the Kingdom of God.
I find it inconceivable that anyone would assume that anyone except God owns His Kingdom. It is HIS Kingdom, the Kingdom of God.
The devil has led many, many people away from God. The devil has deceived many, many people into believing someone other than God, owns the Kingdom of God. Some misguided people falsely believe that they own the kingdom of God.
The devil wishes that he was the owner of the Kingdom of God, but he isn't. The devil has never owned the Kingdom of God, and the devil will never own the Kingdom of God. The devils wishes that he was God, but he has never, can never and will never be God. No one is God, except God.
I am the LORD, and there is none else; there is no God beside Me (Isaiah 45:5).
Many, many people throughout time, since the beginning of time, have tried to become a god. Even today, there are many people who claim to be a god.
There is only ONE God, there has always been only ONE God, and there will always be only ONE God.
Before God there was no God formed, nor after God. There has always been only one God, and there will always be God.
Again, some people may think this is a strange question, but for some people, we must clarify who rules the Kingdom of God, who reigns supreme over the Kingdom of God.
We do not rule the Kingdom of God. No human being, living or dead, rules the Kingdom of God. God alone rules His Kingdom.
The LORD God Almighty is the ruler of the Kingdom of God.
There is only one Gospel of the Kingdom, Gospel of God, Gospel of Jesus Christ, Doctrine of Christ, the preaching of the Word of God is the Gospel of the Kingdom of God - repent and believe.
There is only ONE God and only ONE eternal Kingdom of God.
We see in the Holy Scriptures that "not every one that says to Christ, Lord, Lord, will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven".
Salvation is conditional, "except a man be born again", "except you are converted", you will not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
Salvation has and always will be conditional. We are all saved by God the exact same way, by grace through faith. We all received the salvation of God the exact same way, by grace through faith we are saved.
We ALL become the children of God, obtain salvation, by faith in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:9; Galatians 3:26).
There is no other way to enter the Kingdom of God, except through Jesus (John 14:6).
God the Father wants to give His Kingdom to you, and in order to "inherit" His Kingdom you must come to Him by faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.
Who does God say is in His Kingdom right now? Let's look in the word of God....
God is in the Kingdom of God
Jesus Christ, the risen Son of God, is in the Kingdom of God
The Heavenly Host is in Heaven
The Angels of God are in the Kingdom of God
Matthew 18:10; Mark 12:25, 13:32; Luke 2:15, 22:43
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are in the Kingdom of God
All the prophets of God are in the Kingdom of God
Deceased children of God are in the Kingdom of God
The children of God, the born-again believers of Christ Jesus, the faithful of God, the saints of God, the disciples of Christ Jesus, the elect of God, the saved of God, all people who have received the salvation of God and have passed away in this world, died in the flesh in this world, are with God in the Kingdom of God, absent from the body and present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8).
Every person who has died in faith in Jesus Christ, is now in the Kingdom of God.
By the will and grace of God, when our earthly body dies, our soul and spirit are separated from our earthly body. By the grace of Jesus Christ, our soul and spirit is in the presence of the Lord God, the moment our earthly body dies.
Our soul and spirit are eternal. We either spend eternity with God or without God. We all choose eternal life, or eternal death.
Every person in this world has the same choice, we all choose our own eternal destiny. No one can choose for us, we must all make the choice ourselves.
God promises to return for His own one day, God promises to change our earthly bodies into heavenly bodies, as like Christ's Heavenly body, when He returns and calls our bodies to be raised from our graves, and be with Him forevermore. (John 14:1-6; Philippians 3:20-21; 1 Corinthians 15:50-53; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
When Christ returns for His own one day (John 14:3), all those who have died in Christ, God will bring with Him (1 Thessalonians 4:14). The dead in Christ are with Him now. All the people who have died in faith of God, the children of God who have passed on, will return with Him. The saints, the elect will be gathered by the angels of God from the uttermost part of the earth and of Heaven (Matthew 24:31; Mark 13:27).
We know through scripture that the Kingdom of God is where God reigns, and the Kingdom of God holds the throne of God.
We know through scripture that Heaven is where God is, and where He reigns, and contains the throne of God.
There is only one throne of God, the Kingdom of God, which is Heaven.
There is only one Kingdom of God, Kingdom of Heaven, which is in Heaven.
Heaven is the Kingdom of God and called the Kingdom of Heaven. All things belong to God. God is the possessor of all things. There is nothing that doesn't belong to God.
God is in Heaven (Matthew 5:16,45,48; 6:1,9; 7:11,21; 10:32-33; 12:50; 16:17; 18:10,14,19; 23:9; Mark 11:25-26; Luke 11:2).
God's throne is Heaven (Matthew 5:34; 23:22).
Yes, the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Christ are the same kingdom. There is only one Kingdom of God, which is the Kingdom of Christ.
All people who have faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour will enter the Kingdom of God.
The word of God reads that the moment we die, the faithful in Christ Jesus are immediately with the Lord God.
The instant our flesh and bones body dies, we are immediately with our Lord in Heaven.
Our mind, our spirit, our soul are immediately present with the Lord God in Heaven.
We know through Scripture that our human flesh and bones body cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Our human bodies must be transformed into heavenly bodies (like Christ Jesus' heavenly body), to enter the Kingdom of God. God promises to give us heavenly bodies, either during resurrection or when we are "caught up" to meet the Lord in the air, during the rapture of the church.
All people who do NOT possess faith in Jesus Christ, who are not born-again, who are NOT saved by the grace of God through faith in the blood of Jesus, will NOT enter into the Kingdom of God.
The unbelieving will NOT enter the Kingdom of God, all people without Christ will NOT enter the Kingdom of God (Hebrews 3:12).
The unbelieving will NOT enter the Kingdom of God
The unrighteous will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God
All who live in the flesh will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God
All who deny Christ Jesus will not enter the Kingdom of God
All people who repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior can be saved and receive everlasting life in the Kingdom of God. There is hope for everyone. God is not willing that any should perish, but all should come to Him. Repent today, ask Jesus in your heart today, you will be saved, and you will receive everlasting life.
We must remember, that the ways of God are past finding out (Romans 11:33). Our limited, finite human minds cannot comprehend all the ways of God, the full knowledge of God.
As human beings, we think it is impossible to be able to know every being in the Kingdom of God, BUT when we arrive home in Heaven, we will be changed.
Here, on this earth we know very little, we know in part, but when we arrive home in Heaven, the things of God that we don't know here will be revealed to us, spiritually from God.
How is it possible for us to know every being in Heaven? Because, with God all things are possible. As believers we are to trust God in all things. We should never doubt the word of God, we should never doubt the promises of God. God said we will know everyone, and so we will, Amen.
By knowing the teachings of the word of God, we know that not all people will enter the Kingdom of God. The faithless and unbelieving will be eternally separated from God (Revelation 21:8).
All people who do not choose to place their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord God and Saviour over all of their life will NOT enter into the Kingdom of God (John 3:36).
All people who do not dwell in Christ and who do NOT have Christ Jesus abiding in them, will not see the Kingdom of God. They have cast themselves apart from God for eternity.
The question is, will we remember these people who are not with us in the Kingdom of God. Will we grieve after our lost loved ones and all the people of this world who did not choose Christ Jesus? Will be remember the unbelieving people who will spend eternity separated from God?
Many people find the reality of spending eternity away from the people who did not choose life over death, unbearable. What kind of Heaven will it be if we spend eternity heart broken over lost souls? A lost spouse, a lost parent, a lost sibling, a lost child, a lost friend, or all the lost people of the world?
We must do all that we can to make sure, every person that we know, and every person that we meet, knows Jesus Christ, knows how to spend eternity with God in His Kingdom for eternity, to spend eternity with us.
Let's look at what the word of God tells us about this.
First, we must know that God is love. How could Heaven be Heaven, if every day we thought about our lost loves, the lost people of this world who were NOT with us in Heaven? We would be most miserable and hurt. God would not put us through such misery and torment for eternity.
The word of God tells us all that the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind (Isaiah 65:17). God tells us that the former, the life we had on this earth will not be remembered, will not come into our minds.
Faithful believers of Christ Jesus shall ever be with the Lord, so shall we ever be with the Lord.
All who believer in Christ Jesus to salvation shall ever be with the Lord. Eternal life is never ending. Everlasting life is without end.
Our present life, here on this earth, in our flesh, blood, and bones body is not eternal. Our live here on earth is temporal, not everlasting. Our bodies we presently have here on earth are corrupt because of sin, these bodies cannot enter heaven, this life we have now cannot enter into the presence of God, because of sin.
Our flesh and bones bodies will die, but our soul and spirit is eternal. When our flesh and bones bodies die, they will decay and return to dust. God promises us a new heavenly body, that will be joined one day with our eternal soul and spirit.
The word of God tells us that the Kingdom of God has NOT already come to earth, because this earth has not been destroyed, a new earth has not been created because the new earth has no sea.
God speaks of the Kingdom of God as the world to come as separate and distinct from this present time world (Luke 18:30).
God tells us all that this earth, this world will be destroyed (Matthew 24:35; 2 Peter 3:10) . Since this earth has not been destroyed, this is NOT the Kingdom of God.
God promises after He destroys this earth to create a new earth.
God states that the number of people in Heaven are as the number of grains of sand, multitudes, too many to count.
God never stated an exact number of souls in Heaven in His Holy word.
No one in this world knows how many people were created by the word of God.
No one in this world knows how many people are in Heaven today, only God knows.
Only God knows how many souls He has created from the beginning of time.
Only God knows the number of souls in Heaven today.
Only God knows the number of souls that will be in Heaven for eternity.
Only God knows the final number of souls that will be with Him in His Kingdom. We do not know how many angels and beings are in God's Heavenly Host. God states the numbers in Heaven to be as the grains of sand, too many for us to count, though God knows each one by name.
Heaven is never full and neither is hell.
God is the Creator. God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. God will always be the Creator. No where in the word of God does He say that He will ever stop creating. There are no limits as to what God can do. God and His Kingdom are boundless and are limitless.
Heaven is not the end for the believer, but Heaven is the beginning of life for the believer. Our mortal life, here on this small planet, is but a vapor, a mist, nothing compared to the life God has waiting for us when we arrive in His Kingdom.
No one can buy their way into the Kingdom of God. God does not put a price tag on His Kingdom; we could never afford to purchase the Kingdom of God.
If we could purchase our seat in Heaven, then we would not need God.
Putting a price on heaven, with money, or with works, removes God from the salvation equation. Me + works = Heaven Where is God? Where is faith?
The correct equation is: God's Grace with Faith in Jesus = Christ IN me = Heaven.
(Please Note: Good works are a product of salvation. God says that we maintain good works because of salvation, not to gain salvation.)
Many, many people today falsely believe that their good works grant them entrance into heaven.
God says all throughout His Holy Word, from the Old Testament through the New Testament, that nothing we can do, not a single good work, not thousands of good works that we do, gains us entrance into Heaven.
Only by God's grace are we saved.
Salvation is the gift of God.
We are all saved the exact same way, by God's grace we are all saved. Not of works, lest any man should boast.
God says, we are NOT saved by works.
We are NOT saved of ourselves and not of works, that we would boast about.
If we could just do something good for God, why would we need grace? Why would we need faith?
If good works gained us entrance into Heaven, the Grace of God has no meaning, no effect.
And who is to say, what is good in the sight of God? You? Are you going to speak for God? Are you willing to change the Word of God? Are you able to say what is good enough to enter Heaven? I think not. That would be blasphemy, that would be placing yourself above God, or equal to God. We are not good, only God is good.
Many people choose to believe something other than what is written in the Word of God.
Many people falsely believe that all people will go to Heaven.
God specifically tells us in His word, who will and who will NOT enter into His Kingdom.
It is NOT God's will that anyone perish. It IS God's will that all people be saved through faith, so that they will spend eternity with Him in His Kingdom.
The Kingdom of God is "a place". Jesus told us in John 14:2-3 that in His "Father's house are many mansions". When Jesus departed this earth He went to the Kingdom of God, where He went to "prepare a place" for all believers.
We were created to be with God now and for all eternity. God desires for us to be where He created us to be, which is with Him "that where I am, there ye may be also".
Everyone who enters the Kingdom of God has answered the call from God Himself.
No one enters the Kingdom of God without a personal invitation from God Himself. Thankfully, God calls all people to Him.
(Please note: The word of God states that ALL people are called to God; but, we are NOT promised that God will call us forever. If you hear God's voice calling you today, answer Him today. Don't delay, because no one is guaranteed a tomorrow. We must receive salvation from God, the gift of God, to enter into the Kingdom of God. If you die without salvation you will perish in your sins, there is NOT a second chance to accept salvation after you die.)
The entrance into the Kingdom of God cannot be bought with money or anything else that we have. Absolutely nothing we can do, here on this earth, can get us into the Kingdom of God.
Many people falsely believe in - Me + works = Heaven God says this is incorrect. Where is God? Where is grace? Where is faith?
The correct equation is: God's Grace through Faith in Jesus = Salvation (Christ IN me) = Eternal life with God in Heaven.
Please Note: Good works are the product of salvation. We maintain good works because of salvation, not to gain salvation.
Many, many people today believe that their good works grant them entrance into heaven. God says all throughout His Holy Word, from the Old Testament through the New Testament, that nothing we can do, not a single good work that we do, not by works, no works gains us entrance into Heaven. Only by God's grace are we saved.
We are all saved the same way, by God's grace we are all saved. Not of works, lest any man should boast.
God says, we are NOT saved by our works.
If we could just do something good, some works for God, why would we need grace? Why would we need faith?
If good works gained us entrance into Heaven, the Grace of God has no meaning. And who is to say what is good in the sight of God? Are you able to say what is good enough to enter Heaven? That would be blasphemy, that would be placing yourself above God, or equal to God. We are not good, only God is good.
The admission price into the Kingdom of God is beyond our means to obtain. The price is too great for us to pay. We do not have what it takes to pay the price. Nothing we have, nothing we own, nothing we can do is worthy for entrance into Heaven.
But there is good news!
The admission price into the Kingdom of God has already been paid in full, by the Son of God, Jesus Christ, the only one worthy to pay the price for our salvation.
God would not accept anything we had to offer, we were not worthy, we were not accepted by God to be the sacrifice for the sins of the world.
By the grace of God, through the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus, we can gain entrance into the Kingdom of God, through faith in Him.
Only by believing and trusting in His Son, faith in Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour over all of our life, can we gain entrance into the Kingdom of God.
Entrance into the Kingdom of God is only through faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord God and Saviour.
??? Not sure where to go from here? May we suggest . . .
