Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare
what he hath done for my soul.
Psalm 66:16 |
The dictionary defines a soul as the immaterial essence,
animating principle or actuating cause of an individual life; the spiritual
principle embodied in human beings; a person's total self.
The word of God reads that when God breathed life into me,
I become a living
soul.
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground,
and
breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Genesis 2:7
The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the
Almighty hath given me life.
Job 33:4
|
The breath of the Almighty God gave me life.
The breath of God gives everyone life.
The
love of God begins with us before we are born.
All human beings are created by God the same way, we receive
the breath of life from God Himself, and we become a living soul.
Does everyone and everything have a soul?
Every human being has a soul
The word of God reads that every human being becomes a "living
soul" when God breathes into us.
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the
ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man
became a living soul. Genesis 2:7 |
Man became a living soul when God breathed life into his
nostrils.
Our soul as human beings is
our life. A life is a soul. Every living person is a "living
soul".
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength:
this is the first commandment.
Mark 12:30
And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of
thee, but to fear the LORD thy God,
to walk in all his ways, and to love him,
and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee
this day for thy good?
Deuteronomy 10:12-13
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the
inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
Colossians 3:25
|
Jesus Christ has a soul
God in the flesh, Jesus Christ, has a soul.
Then saith he unto them,
My soul is exceeding sorrowful,
even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.
Matthew 26:38
Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say?
Father, save
me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.
John 12:27
|
Jesus said His soul was exceeding sorrowful and His soul was troubled.
We are a living soul. We not only have a soul,
but we become a living soul. Mankind becomes a living soul, when
God breathes life into our bodies - Genesis 2:7.
God made man a living soul; Adam (mankind) was made a
living soul by God - 1 Corinthians 15:45.
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the
ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man
became a living soul. Genesis 2:7 |
The word of God tells us that God breathes life into us when
we are born and then we become a living soul.
So all human beings have a soul, we become a living
soul - Genesis 2:7.
The soul in Scripture is always connected with mankind.
In whose hand is the soul of every living
thing, and the breath of all mankind. Job 12:10 |
God specifically made mankind different from all other
creation on earth, as God created mankind in "His own image". God has soul
and made man a soul.
So God created man in His own image, in the
image of God created He him; male and female created He them.
Genesis 1:27 |
The animals, all other creatures, and all other living things
on this earth, which God created, were NOT made in the image of God. Only
mankind was made in the image of God.
Only mankind was given mankind flesh. Only mankind was
given the unique and miraculous flesh of mankind. Only mankind was made to
worship, serve and love God. God made mankind to have a relationship with
God. Only mankind can become the sons and daughters of God, become the
children of God, through spiritual adoption through faith in His only begotten
Son, Jesus Christ, the Saviour of men.
God granted mankind with special and unique privileges, above
all other creations. God made mankind higher than the animals, the other
creatures, the other living things on this earth. Mankind was made to have
dominion over all other living creatures and things.
God made man a living soul capable of searching out God, a
spirit to seek out God and desire a relationship with God, a mind to use our God
given faith to receive the gift of God, eternal salvation.
People who don't believe in God, may not believe in having a
soul.
If you believe in God, you believe in having a soul,
because God said He created man, and when He breathed life into man
- man became a living soul.
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the
ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man
became a living soul. Genesis 2:7 |
The knowledge of God is only revealed to those people
who believe in him, who believe in His holy word, who receive His gift of
salvation, those who are saved by the grace of God, through belief and faith in
His Son, Jesus Christ, to salvation. The truth of God is revealed to His own.
The word of God reads those who do not believe are blind,
they cannot see the truth of God. Only by believing in God, believing in the truth
of God, can anyone see
God,
and get to know God. And the truth is God's only begotten Son, Jesus
Christ.
The lost are blind to the gospel of the truth by the devil.
The enemy separates mankind from the truth of God.
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe
not,
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of
God, should shine unto them.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4
But their minds were blinded:
for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament;
which
veil is done away in Christ.
But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart.
Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away.
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is
liberty.
2 Corinthians 3:14-17
|
Blindness of their heart alienates the lost from the life of God
Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the
life of God through the ignorance that is in them,
because of the blindness of
their heart: Ephesians 4:18 For the heart of this people is waxed gross,
and their ears
are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed;
lest they should see with
their eyes, and hear with their ears,
and understand with their heart, and
should be converted, and I should heal them. Acts 28:27 |

We are given a new heart and a new spirit when we
receive the gift of God, which is salvation through
Jesus Christ.
The word of God does not state we are given a new soul, but
the scriptures do tell us we are given a new heart and a new spirit.
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will
I put within you:
and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh,
and I will give you an heart of flesh.
And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and
ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. Ezekiel 36:26-27 |
We are to be saved and to repent and turn from all of our sins
to receive our new heart and new spirit.
Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one
according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from
all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed;
and
make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of
Israel?
For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD:
wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye. Ezekiel 18:30-32 |
Our earthly, human heart, which beats blood throughout our bodies, dies with the
flesh and bones, when we die, but our soul lives for eternity.
Everyone's soul lives for all eternity. God gave man
free will to choose how to spend his eternity.
We are all given two choices: 1) Eternity with
God, or 2) Eternity without God.
If we choose to spend eternity with God, we must come to God
through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ, because God said this is the only way to
Him (John 14:6).
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ
Jesus.
Galatians 3:26 |
Isn't my mind the same thing as my brain? No,
the mind is not the brain. The brain is part of the flesh, the body.
The mind is our thoughts.
Many people who have flat lined, died in the hospital, and
came back, talk about a bright white light. The mind continues after the
body and the brain are dead. Scientifically, medically these people were
dead, they didn't have any pulse or brain waves. Even though they are
legally dead, some of them can remember floating above their own bodies
or seeing a bright white light, before returning to their earthly bodies with a beating
pulse.
We have a earthly body, flesh and bones body, which contains
all our flesh, organs, veins, bones, muscles, tissue. This body will not
enter Heaven. God says that this earthly body cannot enter into His
presence, His Kingdom.
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot
inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all
be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the
trumpet shall sound,
and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1 Corinthians 15:50-52 |
The moment we die, believers of Christ are immediately with
our Lord God Jesus in Heaven. Our soul, our spirit, our mind, all are
forever with the LORD God, but not our
earthly flesh and bones body.
One day Christ will come and resurrect our dead earthly
bodies from their grave, then God will transform our earthly bodies into
heavenly bodies. Our bodies will be caught up together with our spirit in
the air with the Lord, and then we will be completely and with the Lord God
forever.
The Lord has a mind
And they put him in ward, that the mind of the LORD might
be shewed them.
Leviticus 24:12 |
Serve God with a willing mind
And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father,
and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if
thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast
thee off for ever.
1 Chronicles 28:9 |
God is mindful of us
We are on the mind of God! You and me are on the mind of
God! How wonderful, and amazing that is to think about! The same God
Almighty who created the whole universe, has me on His mind, God thinks about
me, cares about me, loves me.
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of
man, that thou visitest him?
Psalm 8:4 The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will
bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.
Psalm 115:12 |
We are to be mindful of our God
We are never to forget who breathed life into our bodies.
We are never to forget who made the world, God is the Creator of all things.
We are to be mindful of our Rock, the God of our salvation, the Rock of our
strength.
Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation,
and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength,
therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips:
Isaiah 17:10 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast
forgotten God that formed thee.
Deuteronomy 32:18 |
Our mind is to stay on the Lord
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed
on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Isaiah 26:3 |
We are to love God with all our mind
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with
all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
Matthew 22:37-38
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind,
and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
Mark 12:30
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God
with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with
all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
Luke 10:27
|
To be spiritually minded is life
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the
flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and
peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law
of God, neither indeed can be.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God
dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life
because of righteousness.
Romans 8:5-10 |
Be transformed by the renewing of your mind by Christ
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed
by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not
to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly,
according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
Romans 12:2-3
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and
true holiness.
Ephesians 4:23-24
|
Be of one mind in Christ Jesus
All believers are to be like minded, Christ minded, being of
the same mind one to another.
So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one
members one of another.
Romans 12:5
Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to
be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 15:5-6
Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord
Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing,
and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined
together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
1 Corinthians 1:10
Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good
comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be
with you.
2 Corinthians 13:11
Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of
Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your
affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for
the faith of the gospel; And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token
of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
Philippians 1:27-28
Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same
love, being of one accord, of one mind.
Philippians 2:2
|
How can we have the one mind of Christ?
Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is
evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring
one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
Be of the same mind one toward another.
Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate.
Be not wise in your own conceits. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all
men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath:
for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him;
if he thirst, give him drink:
for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Romans 12:9-18
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this
one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind,
and reaching forth unto those things
which are before,
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ
Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in
any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule,
let us mind the same thing.
Philippians 3:13-16
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever
things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure,
whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be
any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in
me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Philippians 4:8-9
Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of
another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing;
knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
1 Peter 3:8-9
|
Believers have the mind of Christ
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may
instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
1 Corinthians 2:16
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Philippians 2:5
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:7
|
The minds of the lost are blind
But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth
the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is
done away in Christ.
2 Corinthians 3:14
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should
shine unto them.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4
|
God gives us a sound mind
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power,
and of love, and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7 |
In His word, God makes distinguishes between our soul and our
spirit.
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper
than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and
spirit,
and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and
intents of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12 |
Our soul is life that God breathes into every
human being.
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the
ground,
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man
became a living soul. Genesis 2:7 |
Our soul receives salvation.
Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your
souls.
1 Peter 1:9 |
Our spirit is made new when we receive
salvation.
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will
I put within you:
and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh,
and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes,
and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Ezekiel 36:26-27 |
If we received God's gift of salvation through faith in Christ
Jesus our spirit will saved in the day of the Lord Jesus (1 Corinthians
5:5).
Our whole spirit and soul and body are to remain blameless
until our Lord Jesus Christ returns, or we die, which ever happens first.
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly;
and I pray
God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved
blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 |
God sees us whole - with a spirit, soul, and
body AND God wants to save us wholly - spirit, soul, and body. We
are to wholly love the Lord with all our heart, with all our soul,
with all our might (Matthew 12:30). We are to wholly follow the
LORD our God (Joshua 14:9). We are to meditate on God's word and
give ourselves wholly to the things of God (1 Timothy 4:15). We
are to wholly seek God with our whole being (Deuteronomy 4:29).
We are to wholly fear God and wholly walk in His ways
and wholly serve God (Deuteronomy 10:12).
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
Mark 12:30 |
We know that when we die the soul and spirit separates from the body.
A spirit is not flesh and bones.
Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see;
for
a
spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
Luke 24:39 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the
Spirit is spirit.
John 3:6 |
Every person is born into a flesh and bones body. Being
born of the flesh is not a choice.
Being born of the Spirit is a choice, a choice every
person must make on their own to receive salvation by faith. When we
accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour, believe and ask Jesus to forgive our sins, and
repent from sin, and confess that Jesus is Lord, and ask Jesus to come into our
hearts, we are born of the Spirit. Through believing faith in Christ Jesus
we are born again, born of the Spirit of God, and become the children of God
(Galatians .
Our soul and spirit are eternal, our earthly body is flesh and
blood and will never enter Heaven.
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot
inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1 Corinthians 15:50 |
When we die, our soul and spirit leave our earthly bodies and
are with the Lord God, if we through faith in Jesus have
received the salvation of God.
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent
from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:8 |
The body without the spirit is dead (James 2:26).
The word of God distinguishes between our soul and our body.
Our soul is eternal, but our human bodies are mortal.
The word of God tells us we all have a body,
mind, soul, and spirit, and with all of
them we are to love the Lord God.
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is
the first commandment.
Mark 12:30 |
Throughout His word, God separates our spirit, our soul, and
our body (1 Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 4;12).
Every human being is born with a living soul, when God
breathes life into our bodies.
Our body of flesh and bones is separate
from our soul. Our fleshy, blood and bones
human body is NOT our soul.
We know that when we die that our living spirit and soul leaves
our dead body of flesh and bones.
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent
from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:8 |
The difference between our bodies and our souls, is that our
human bodies will not live for eternity, but our souls are eternal.
Our human body of flesh and bones, that we have today, does not
receive eternal life, it dies here on earth, wherever our bodies are.
Our soul and spirit receives eternity,
not the body we have today.
Every soul of every person ever born here on earth will receive
eternity, in either one of two places, which is either:
1. with God
or
2.
without God.
The first man God created was Adam. Adam brought sin into the world
by yielding to the temptation of the devil.
Every person born into the world is a sinner. Sin cannot inherit
the kingdom of God, go to heaven.
God loves us so much that He sent to us from Heaven His only
begotten Son, as the complete sacrifice for our sins, to redeem our sins, cleanse us from
our sins so we might have everlasting life with Him in the kingdom of God
forever and ever, for eternity.
By believing in Jesus Christ,
the only begotten Son of God, believing that Jesus died for our sins on a cross, was
buried and resurrected Himself from His grave to new life, and now sits on the right hand side of God
the Father in
Heaven, we can receive salvation and eternal life.
By the grace of God through faith in Jesus we can receive
eternal life, which is salvation, with God the Father and God the Son, Jesus, for
eternity.
Each part of us is important to God. God cares about our
soul, our spirit, our body, and our mind. We are to guard and care for
every gift that God gives to us, which includes our soul, our spirit, our body,
and our mind.
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly;
and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto
the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:23 |
Our soul inherits the kingdom of God, not our earthly human
bodies.
Scriptures refers to the belly as stomachs, a mother's womb,
center of things, and the sinful nature of our flesh.
The belly, in scriptures, generally refers to our sinful human
nature, the flesh (Romans 16:18; Philippians 3:19). Scriptures refer to
the belly as stomachs (Matthew 12:40; 15:17; Luke 15:16; Revelation 10:9-10).
The belly is also referred to the woman's womb (Job 3:11; Psalm 22:10; Jeremiah
1:5). The belly is also the center of things (Jonah 2:2).
Scripture separates our soul from our belly
Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye
is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.
Psalm 31:9 |
Psalm 44:25; Proverbs 13:25
Everything belongs to God alone.
God created everything and God owns everything.
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers.
For
there is no power but of God:
the powers that be are ordained of God.
Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God:
and
they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
Romans 13:1-2
In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the
breath of all mankind.
Job 12:10
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and
power:
for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were
created.
Revelation 4:11
|
God alone created all things, AND all things were created
for His pleasure.
God loves us so much, that He gives each human being free
will, the freedom to choose to believe in Jesus Christ, or not to believe.
God loves us so much, that He has never forced, and will never force
Himself on any person. We must all make the choice to believe in God.
Through believing in God, through faith in His Son Jesus Christ, by the
grace of God, we can receive His free gift of salvation, receive eternal life in
the Kingdom of God.
God gives life to every living human being when He breathes
life into us. Our soul is in His hands. God loves us all, but we must
make the choice to follow Christ Jesus to Heaven, we must surrender our lives
willingly to God the Son, Jesus Christ, in order to inherit His Kingdom, to be a
member of the family of God for eternity.
There is no other way to Heaven except through faith in Jesus
Christ.
No one can "sell their soul" to anyone. Why?
Because you don't own your soul, God does. Your soul is not a
tangible object that can be sold.
If someone purchases someone else's soul, they have been
duped, conned out of their money, because no one but God can remove the soul from
anyone's body. Selling a soul is like selling your dreams, it is
impossible.
Your soul is the life that God breathed into you when He
formed you, when God created you, when He gave you life (Genesis 2:7).
God created your soul, it belongs to God, you do not own
your soul. God holds the soul of every living thing in His hand.
In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the
breath of all mankind.
Job 12:10 |
In God's hand is the soul, the life of every living thing, and
the
breath of all mankind.
You can choose not to believe in God and therefore condemn
your soul to damnation, just like the devil did, but no one can sell their soul
to another person.
The word of God reads that human beings die once.
God says that we are born once into the flesh and
that we are appointed by God once to die.
Every living thing is
created by God. God's perfect law is that we are born once and we die once
in the flesh.
The word of God reads that it is appointed men once to die, and after we die we all face the
judgment.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but
after this the judgment: Hebrews 9:27 |
The word of God reads that we die once, this is why those who
are saved and believe in God do not believe in reincarnation, because God
says men are appointed once to die, and only once.
Human beings die once to the flesh. We are given one
fleshly human body, and God says that it dies one-time only.
No animal, nor human, no creature is reincarnated. No
being God creates returns into flesh again.
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of
the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Hebrews 10:10 |
Jesus Christ died in the flesh once for all. Jesus did not
die multiple times and Jesus cannot and will NOT die again. Jesus died
once for all, one sacrifice for all sins for ever (Hebrews 10:12).
In order for Jesus to die again, God the Father would have to
send Him to earth again, to be conceived of the Holy Ghost again, born of a
virgin again, preach the gospel again, walk on this earth again, be betrayed
again, be crucified on His cross again, die again in the flesh, rise from His
grave again, and ascend to Heaven again. This is not God's will.
The
perfect plan of God, the will of God, was for Jesus to be sent to earth ONE-TIME, conceived by the Holy Ghost ONE-TIME, born of a virgin ONE-TIME, preach
the gospel on earth ONE-TIME, walk among the people of this earth ONE-TIME, be
betrayed ONE-TIME, and to be crucified on His cross ONE-TIME,
die in the flesh ONE-TIME, rise from His grave ONE-TIME, and ascend to Heaven.
The sins of all the people of the world were paid in full -
ONCE FOR ALL (Hebrews 10:10), ONE-TIME FOR ALL TIME, by the ONE-TIME sacrifice of Jesus Christ
(Hebrews 10:12),
ONE OFFERING (Hebrews 10:14), NO OTHER SACRIFICE is required by God for the remission of our sins
(Hebrews 10:14).
The salvation of all mankind was paid in full, completed,
finished - ONCE FOR ALL by Christ Jesus on His cross, by His suffering, by the
ONE-TIME blood sacrifice of God's only begotten Son, Jesus, by His crucifixion
on His cross, by His death and by His resurrection, ONCE FOR ALL. (Hebrews
10:10)
Just as Jesus Christ
died once in the flesh, so will our human earthly bodies die once in the flesh
- never to be remembered.
The sacrifice of Jesus Christ was ONCE FOR ALL, never to
be repeated. Jesus Christ died ONCE FOR ALL - HE DID THIS ONCE.
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering
of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Hebrews 10:10 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up
sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
Hebrews 7:27 |
Jesus offered up the only eternal sacrifice accepted by God
for the sins of the world when He offered up Himself, and for this He did once.
The one and only blood and life sacrifice of Christ Jesus
allowed all who by faith believe in Him the way to obtain eternal redemption
(Hebrews 9:10).
The sacrifice of Jesus was a one-time sacrifice, of Himself
for all mankind forever, never to be repeated, once for all, one-time for
all sin, one-time for all people who by faith believe in Him for salvation
(Hebrews 9:26). Christ suffered ONCE and died ONCE and rose from death in
the flesh ONCE (1 Peter 3:18).
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many;
and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin
unto salvation.
Hebrews 9:28 |
No one but Christ Jesus appears in the presence of God for
us, on our behalf, for our sins, for our salvation, for our redemption
(Hebrews 9:24-25).
The sacrifice for sin was paid in full by Jesus Himself on His
cross ONCE FOR ALL time.
No, the soul does NOT die with the body. Our soul is
eternal.
The soul and the human body are separated at death. Our
human body may cease, but our soul continues for all eternity.
When all human beings die, the soul separates from the flesh
and blood and bones human body.
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent
from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:8 |
The saved in Christ Jesus will be joined with their King,
their Lord God forever in Heaven, and will spend eternity with God.
The soul of every believer immediately joins Christ, when they
die.
The soul of every unbeliever immediately enters hell, when
they die.
The souls of the lost, the unbelieving, those without faith in
God receive damnation, and they will be judged for their lack of faith in Christ
Jesus to salvation, and go to hell, to be separated from God for all eternity
(Revelation 20:15; 21:8).
Every soul, saved or lost, will face the judgment after death
(Hebrews 9:27; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 20:11-15).
Your soul does not die with your body because God said our
soul lives for eternity.
Our human flesh and bones body, our earthly body dies. When a
body dies the flesh and bones decay and rot, but our soul lives forever.
Where you soul lives after you die is your choice,
your decision.
Every human being makes a choice where their soul will spend eternity.
Every human being has a choice where they will spend eternity.
Every human being dead or alive makes a choice, while they are
alive, as to where they will spend eternity.
After a person dies it
is too late to make a decision. The choice is only made when the person is
alive. There is no second chance after you are dead.
Every human being has an eternal destiny: Heaven with God
-or- Hell without God.
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the
world through him might be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned:
but he that believeth not is
condemned already,
because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten
Son of God.
John 3:15-18 |
We either choose eternal life with God, or eternal death
without God.
When we die the word of God reads that our soul and spirit and
mind (our spiritual being) is separated from our earthly human flesh and
bones bodies (our natural being).
God says that we all have a natural body and a spiritual body
(1 Corinthians 15:44).
Our natural body is our human flesh and bones body.
Our spiritual body is our soul, our spirit, our heart, our mind.
The word of God reads the natural body is first, and afterward
that which is spiritual.
Our flesh and bones, our earthly bodies remain here on earth.
We will receive a heavenly body when the Lord returns to catch up the dead and
living, believers with Him. God says that the Lord will return with a
shout in the air and catch up all His believers, transforming their earthly
bodies into a heavenly body, we will meet Him in the air and be with Him
forever.
If we are saved, our soul and spirit and mind goes to heaven, but our flesh
and bones body remains on earth.
If we are NOT saved, our soul goes to hell, but our
flesh body remains on earth.
He will deliver his soul from going into the pit,
and
his life shall see the light.
Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man, To bring back his soul from the pit,
to be enlightened with the light of the
living. Job 33:28-30 |
God delivered Job's soul from going into the pit of hell and
said his life shall see the light of heaven.
The scriptures say God does this often with man, brings
back his soul from going into the pit of hell, to be enlightened with the light
of the living.
While we are alive, still breathing, we have a choice
and a chance to keep our soul from the pit of hell, and to join the saints of
the light of the living.
Why doesn't God give us a chance to believe in Jesus
after we die? There is not any scripture
that tells us that we will be able to change our mind, after we die to
accept Jesus as our personal Savior. God does say that we die one, and
then after that the judgment.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this
the judgment:
Hebrews 9:27 |
The decision, the choice to accept Jesus and believe in
His saving grace, is ONLY while we are alive and breathing here on earth.
Who has an eternal soul?
Every person has an eternal soul. Every person will have
an eternity either with or without God.
Each person chooses their own eternity, when they accept or
deny Christ Jesus.
The souls of the redeemed, the souls of the saints, the souls of
the saved, the souls of the believers of Christ Jesus, the souls of the
believers of God will go to heaven.
Then said Jesus unto his disciples,
If any man will come
after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it:
and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
Matthew 16:24-25
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole
world, and lose his own soul?
or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and
then he shall reward every man according to his works.
Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of
death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
Matthew 16:26-28
For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou
suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
Psalm 16:10
O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave:
thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
Psalm 30:3
My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my
soul, which thou hast redeemed.
Psalm 71:23
For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered
my soul from the lowest hell.
Psalm 83:13
Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls
of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
Psalm 97:10
The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall
preserve thy soul.
Psalm 121:7
And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy
soul in drought, and make fat thy bones:
and thou shalt be like a watered
garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
Isaiah 58:11
I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful
in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation,
he hath
covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decketh himself with
ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
Isaiah 61:10
O Lord, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast
redeemed my life.
Lamentations 3:58
|
Saved believers of Christ will go to heaven
The saved souls of the believers of Christ will go to heaven.
Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the
works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall
any man pluck them out of my hand.
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck
them out of my Father's hand.
I and my Father are one.
John 10:25-30 |
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The wages of sin is
death. All people who do not believe in God to salvation will be damned.
All people who do evil will be in the resurrection of damnation. All
people who resist the power of God will receive to themselves damnation.
All people who don't believe the truth of God are damned. All people who
do not believe Jesus Christ is Lord will die in their sins.
All people who die in their sins without redemption, without
salvation, by the grace of God through faith in God, have chosen to go to hell,
because they have chosen not to accept the truth of God.
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to
kill the soul:
but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body
in hell.
Matthew 10:28
The soul that sinneth, it shall die.
The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear
the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him,
and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
Ezekiel 18:20
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he
that believeth not shall be damned.
Mark 16:16
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the
resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of
damnation.
John 5:29
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there
is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and
they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
Romans 13:1-2
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth,
but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
2 Thessalonians 2:12
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins:
for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man,
then shall ye
know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught
me, I speak these things.
John 8:24,28
|
Unbelief separates anyone from God. The unbelieving will
not see God.
Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil
heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Hebrews 3:12 |
Only through believing in God, by the grace of God, is anyone
saved from sin and death, hell.
Only God can save souls
Only God can deliver your soul from hell.
For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast
delivered my soul from the lowest hell.
Psalm 86:13 |
Only GOD can deliver any soul from death.
For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine
eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. Psalm 116:8 |
Only God can redeem any soul from the power of the
grave and death.
But God will redeem my soul from the power of the
grave: for he shall receive me. Selah. Psalm 49:15 My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and
my soul, which thou hast redeemed. Psalm 71:23 |
Only God can deliver our souls from the pits of hell,
Only GOD can save.
Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy
mercies' sake.
For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee
thanks?
Psalm 6:4-5
Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech
thee, deliver my soul.
Psalm 116:4
He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and
his life shall see the light. Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,
To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the
living.
Job 33:28-30
All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship:
all
they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive
his own soul.
Psalm 22:29
Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn
not from his wickedness,
nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity;
but thou hast delivered thy soul.
Ezekiel 3:19
Again, When a righteous man doth turn from
his righteousness, and commit iniquity,
and I lay a stumblingblock before
him, he shall die:
because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in
his sin,
and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered;
but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Ezekiel 3:20
Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man,
that the righteous sin not,
and he doth not sin, he shall surely live,
because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
Ezekiel 3:21
For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine
eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
Psalm 116:8
|
No one can, by any means, can redeem his own soul.
All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship:
all
they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive
his own soul.
Psalm 22:29
They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in
the multitude of their riches;
None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for
him:
Psalm 49:6-7
Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of
his house is increased; For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after
him.
Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou
doest well to thyself.
He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light.
Psalm 49:16-19
|
The word of God reads we all have a natural body and
a spiritual body.
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in
corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is
raised in power:
It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.
There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam
was made a quickening spirit.
Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and
afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy:
the second man is the Lord from
heaven.
As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy:
and as is the heavenly,
such are they also that are heavenly.
And as we have borne the image of the earthy,
we shall also bear the image of
the heavenly. 1 Corinthians 15:42-49 |
Our earthly bodies cannot enter heaven. Our earthly bodies are corruptible, our flesh and blood and
bones, our body decays, weakens, over time. Our flesh and bones we have on
this earth cannot last for eternity. Our human flesh and bones body is
mortal.
The kingdom of God and God are incorruptible, immortal
and they will last forever and ever, for eternity.
In order for us to be in our body and see the kingdom of God and live with God
for eternity, we must have a new body that will not decay and rot.
God will give all His children, those who are saved, a new
body, an incorruptible body that will last for eternity.
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot
inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1 Corinthians 15:50 |
God says we will ALL be changed.
Behold, I shew you a mystery;
We shall not all sleep, but
we shall all be changed, 1 Corinthians 15:51 |
This scriptures says all believers in Christ who are dead, asleep,
and those still alive will all be changed.
But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits;
afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. 1 Corinthians 15:23 |
Only those who are Christ's at his coming, saved
people, will receive an incorruptible, new body.
Do you belong to Christ?
People who are Christ's, both dead in Christ and those
who are still alive in Christ, will be resurrected into a new body
in the twinkling of any eye, at the last trumpet sound.
Our corruptible, earthly, flesh and bones bodies will be
transformed into new incorruptible heavenly bodies that will be immortal, never
die.
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:
for the trumpet shall sound,
and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and
we shall be changed.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must
put on immortality. 1 Corinthians 15:52-53 |
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:
for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we
shall be changed.
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:
for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we
shall be changed.
1 Corinthians 15:52 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope
by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away,
reserved in heaven for you,
Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be
revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1:1-5 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your
souls.
1 Peter 1:9 |
God the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ will change our vile
earthly body into a heavenly body, like His glorious body.
For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look
for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his
glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue
all things unto himself. Philippians 3:20-21 |
We purify our souls by obeying the truth,
obeying God through the
Spirit of God into unfeigned love, loving each other with a pure heart
fervently, and by being born again, though faith in Jesus Christ,
the word of God, which lives and abides forever.
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth
through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren,
see that ye love one
another with a pure heart fervently:
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of
God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
1 Peter 1:22-23 |
Nothing is wrong with saying "bless my soul", "my soul", "O,
my soul", if we are speaking to God, or praying to God, or worshiping God,
or praising God, or
exalting the God Almighty.
But, if you are swearing, or using the Lord's name in vain,
it is wrong to use the saying "bless my soul" irreverently, or any other
saying.
But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven;
for it is God's throne: Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool:
neither by Jerusalem; for it
is the city of the great King. Neither shalt thou swear by thy head,
because thou canst not make one
hair white or black. But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay:
for whatsoever is more
than these cometh of evil. Matthew 5:34-37 |
The word of God was written with such clarity that the
"why" of something is always answered.
Why are we not to swear at all?
- We are not to swear by heaven because it is God's throne
- We are not to swear by the earth because it is God's
footstool
- We are not to swear by Jerusalem for it is the city of
the great King
- We are not to swear by our head, our being, because we
cannot make one hair white or black
- We are not to swear at all because if we say more
than yea or nay, yes or no, evil comes
We must be conscious of all our words. We must
use our words properly. As believers we are an example to the
sinful world we live in.
We must always be aware that someone is always
watching us as to how we, as the children of God, conduct our
lives.
God loves us so very much and does NOT want us to
fall into sin.
It doesn't take much for the devil to get a foothold in our
lives, so we should be careful not to give any place to the devil.
Neither give place to the devil.
Ephesians 4:27 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth,
but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto
the hearers.
Ephesians 4:29 |
We are never alone in guarding our hearts, as
the Holy Ghost is always with us to help us, to comfort us, to guide us, to
lead us to what is necessary to fulfil the will of God in our lives.
No one can control themselves alone.
Our tongues, our speech is the difficult to control, but with Jesus we
can do all things (Philippians 4:13) and nothing is impossible with
God (Mark 10:27).
