Unrighteous

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?  Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.  1 Corinthians 6:9

 

 


Who are unrighteous?

All people who forsake God are unrighteous.  Anyone without God is without His righteousness.

All people who live in unrighteousness are the unrighteous. 

People who practice unrighteousness are the unrighteous.

All unrighteousness is sin (1 John 5:17) and people who live in and practice sin are the unrighteous.

All people who practice unrighteousness are the unrighteous.

God defines the unrighteous in His Word to be:  fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, effeminate, abusers of themselves with mankind, thieves, covetous, drunkards, revilers, extortioners, unbelievers, the abominable, murderers, whoremongers, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars.

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.  1 Corinthians 6:9

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.  Revelation 21:8

 


How does one become unrighteous?

Practicing sin, living in unrighteousness makes you unrighteous. 

Unrighteous people live unrighteousness.   Unrighteousness is the opposite of righteousness.  Unrighteousness is NOT of God.  Unrighteousness is against God.

God is righteous and holy.  God cannot sin and He does not live in sin and unrighteousness.  God is against all ungodliness and all unrighteousness of men (Romans 1:18).

Anyone who lives unrighteously, who practices unrighteousness is unrighteous.  All who do unrighteously are an abomination to the LORD God (Deuteronomy 25:16).

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  Romans 1:18-21

 

Righteousness is light and unrighteousness is darkness.  Righteousness is life and unrighteousness is death.

That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.  Romans 5:21

 

 


What does GOD say about the unrighteous?

 

God said "Be NOT deceived"

The word of God reads that the devil is in the world today, walking about, seeing who he can devour.

God was manifested in the flesh, Jesus.  Jesus walked in the world of lust and sin, but did not sin.  God knows about sin firsthand as a human, what the world is like, and what it is like to be a man, to be tempted of sin.  Jesus faced the same temptations that we face.  Jesus was given the same choices to sin as we see every day. 

God knows how easy it is for us to be deceived by satan, because as Jesus, He was tempted by sin when He walked and lived on this sinful earth.  Jesus never yielded to the temptation, Jesus never committed sinned.

God warns us - Do NOT be deceived.

Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;  Deuteronomy 11:16

And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.  Luke 21:8

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,  Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.  1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.  Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.  1 Corinthians 15:33-34

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.  Galatians 6:7-8

 

God tell us in His Holy Word, NOT to be deceived, ALL people who live in sin, and sow to the flesh, which is corruption, will reap corruption, will die in their sin, and will spend eternity without God.

God tells us that only those who stay in Christ, hold onto their faith in God, sow to the Spirit, will reap everlasting life with God.

 


How can a believer be unrighteous?

When a believer steps away from the path of God and lives in sin, this believer becomes unrighteous.

The people who quote the 'once saved, always saved' false theory, will say that Scriptures about turning away from God, describe non-believers, the lost of the world, and that they do not pertain to the saved in Christ.

God refutes these skeptics through His Word, that specifically refer to the saved.

But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.  Ezekiel 18:24

When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.  Ezekiel 18:26

How can a righteous man turn away from righteousness?  How can the saved turn away from salvation? 

How do believers of Christ fall away from God?  Believers fall away from God by not continuing in the faith, not enduring steadfast in faith until the end.

Simply put, when believers stop believing God they fall away from God.  They become unrighteous when they abandon, depart from their faith in God, walk away from God.  The Scriptures call this a falling away from the faith once had.

The word of God clearly states that only faithful believers of Christ Jesus will enter the kingdom of God, enter heaven.  This is present tense, the faithful, those who have a current relationship of faith in Christ. 

No past relationship with God will gain you entrance into the Kingdom of God, only those with current living faith in God will enter into His presence.  

Do not be deceived by satan.  The state in which you die, is the state in which you will be judged.  You are either practicing faith or living in unbelief.  No one enters God's Kingdom without a current relationship in faith with God.

The word of God clearly states that ALL UNBELIEVERS will NOT inherit the kingdom of God, will NOT enter heaven, are cast into hell.   No one enters into the Kingdom of Heaven without living faith.

So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.  Hebrews 3:19

Remember, God is NOT mocked, everyone will be judged on their current faith in God, how we live our life today, either in righteousness or unrighteousness.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  Galatians 6:7

God is telling us all that living faith in God is what establishes our eternal life, how we live to God today will be how we live for eternity.  No one can switch masters after they die.  Who we serve today, is who we will serve for all eternity.

 


Who are unbelievers?

All people who do NOT believe in Jesus Christ for the salvation of their soul are unbelievers.   We must believe in God to be saved.  Anyone who has not accepted Jesus Christ into their heart and life by faith to be their personal Lord and Saviour are unbelievers, because God says we are all His children through faith in Christ Jesus.

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.  Galatians 3:26

Unbelievers do NOT have faith in God to salvation.  Unbelievers have not placed their complete trust in God to the saving of their souls to everlasting life in the Kingdom of God.

All people who have not surrendered all to Jesus are unbelievers. 

And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.  Mark 8:34

All people who have not denied selfishness and follow Christ, instead of following sin and the lusts of the world are unbelievers.

All people who do not obey God are unbelievers.  God's children are the one's who do His word, follow His ways, obey Him.

If ye love me, keep my commandments.  John 14:15

All people who do not know God are unbelievers.

Some may think of the lost as the only unbelievers, but the scriptures, the word of God states unbelievers are all people who never knew God AND those who knew God at onetime but turned away from their faith.

Just because you say you are saved, does not make you a believer of Christ Jesus.  Faith in God, belief in God is from the heart. 

Saving faith in God is from the heart, when we believe in God with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, with all our strength that God is all He says that He is in His Holy word, then we will live in faith, from faith to faith, every day of our lives.

Only those who believe will be saved.

Salvation is eternal and belief in Jesus Christ is eternal and obeying God is eternal, doing the will of God is eternal.

Salvation is NOT temporary.  If your belief in Christ Jesus is temporary, if you obey God temporarily, the word of God reads you are not saved.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.  John 3:36

 


Who will NOT enter the Kingdom of GOD?

 

God said sinners will NOT enter the kingdom of God.  We must accept and put on the righteousness of God to be with God.  We receive the righteousness of God, from God, through salvation, by asking God to save us and give us eternal life, by repent, turning from all sin and turning to God, placing our hope and trust in Him for all of our life.

God says, don't be deceived by anyone - the unrighteousness will NOT inherit the kingdom of God.

All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.  1 John 5:17

Know ye not that the unrighteousness shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, shall inherit the kingdom of God.  1 Corinthians 6:9-10

 

God says, BE NOT DECEIVED.  

DO NOT believe anyone, except GOD, about anything regarding your salvation

Your salvation was a gift from God, no one else.  Only GOD can tell you how to keep it.

"But my pastor told me I was saved", some may say.

On the day of judgment, I can't help but wonder just how many people will stand in front of God, who will be shocked when God says to them:

"I do not know you, depart from me". 

How horrible!  I am sure there will be multitudes of people who will say, "but my pastor told me I was saved", or my priest, or my bishop, or other religious leader, or my mother, or my family is saved, or someone prayed over me. 

This is the reason that God gave us His word, so we can study the word of God, receive His gift of salvation and we can know we are saved and how to hold onto our salvation until the end.

"But I was baptized", "But I told people I was a Christian", "But I went to church", "But I gave money to missions" - Excuses will not be accepted by God on the day of judgment. 

Everyone will be judged and receive either eternal life or eternal death.

YOU are responsible for your own salvation - NO ONE ELSE.  God tells us in His word that no one else is responsible for our salvation, but ourselves, the choice is ours alone to make, no one saves us but God, no one can ask for His salvation for you except you.  God says that we are to work out our own salvation, no one else's (Philippians 2:12).

Don't just wish you are saved, know 100% you are saved.

The Holy word of God tells us all, who will and who will NOT inherit the kingdom of God. 

Are you unrighteous?  God says the unrighteous and the unbelieving will NOT inherit the kingdom of God.

Do not be deceived - sin and all who are attached to sin will never enter into the holiness of God in Heaven.  We are attached to God, or we are attached to sin, no one can be attached to both.

Who will NOT inherit the kingdom of God?

  • Unrighteousness

  • Liars

  • Fornicators

  • Idolaters

  • Adulterers

  • Effeminate

  • Abusers of themselves

  • Thieves

  • Covetous

  • Drunkards

 

The word of God specifically and clearly states there are situations in which some people will not enter the kingdom of God.

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  Galatians 5:10-21

The word of God reads that people which do these things will NOT inherit the kingdom of God:

  • Adultery

  • Fornication

  • Uncleanness

  • Lasciviousness

  • Idolatry

  • Witchcraft

  • Hatred

  • Variance

  • Emulations

  • Wrath

  • Strife

  • Seditions

  • Heresies

  • Envyings

  • Murders

  • Drunkenness

  • Revellings

  • and such like

 


What can I do to enter the Kingdom of GOD?

What can I do to enter the kingdom of God and not die and go to hell?

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.  John 3:5-7

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit he CANNOT enter into the kingdom of God.

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.  But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.  For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.  Ephesians 5:1-5

 

These people have NO inheritance in the kingdom of God:

  • Whoremonger

  • Unclean person

  • Covetous person

  • Idolater

Don't let any person tell you anything different than what is written in the word of God - Let no person deceive you.

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.  Ephesians 5:8

 

Let no man deceive you with vain words.

Why would anyone, especially believers, let any man tell us what the word of God does or doesn't mean? 

We as believers have God inside of us.  God dwells within us.

The Holy Ghost, inside of all believers, is our link to God and the word of God, the understanding we have of God comes to us from the Spirit of God, which dwells inside every believer.

Why would we believe any word of man over the word of God?

We are not to put our faith in any man, we are to put our faith in God only.

When you hear someone give you their meaning of the word of God, their interpretation, and if it does not sound right, that is your spirit speaking to your heart, telling you it is not right with God

You are not to take any person's word, teaching, or interpretation, over the word of God that is in your spirit, in your heart.  Any person includes preachers, teachers, prophets, anyone.

I am not saying they are all wrong, I am saying that you as a believer of Christ are required by God to prove all doctrine against His to make sure it is sound doctrine to you.

If something doesn't sound right, check it out, prove it against the word of God.  If it is proven by the word of God, it is sound doctrine. 

If you cannot prove someone's teaching with the word of God, it is false doctrine and you should not listen to it anymore.

All scripture is give by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.  2 Timothy 3:16-17

 

The word of God is the final word, to prove any doctrine, and supreme above all other doctrine.

 

 

Do not listen to false doctrine

Yes, we as believers of Christ are told not to listen to false doctrine.

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.  If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.  2 John 1:9

 

We know through the word of God that people who do not abide in the doctrine of Christ do not have God, so why listen to them?

People who believe in, live in, live by, abide in the doctrine of Christ have both God the Father and God the Son.

If anyone brings to you any doctrine, other than the doctrine of Christ, do not welcome them, do not receive them to preach to you, and do not agree with them.

If you accept or condone their false doctrine, agree with them about their false doctrine in any way, you are as guilty of their sin as they are. God says you are a partaker of their evil deeds.

 


How can I be sure I am really saved?

There are several questions everyone who is saved must ask themselves to make sure that they are truly saved.

You can be certain that when Christ returns (or when you die, whichever comes first) that you will go to be with Jesus in Heaven.

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.  1 John 5:13

 

God guarantees His children, all believers of Christ, assurance of eternal life.

Salvation is an inheritance of the Kingdom of God to all who believe in God and all that He says in His word.

1.  You confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and Saviour and believe that Jesus is the Son of God. 

2.  You personally prayed to Jesus for forgiveness of your sins and your own salvation. 

3.  You repented from all your sins, with sorrow from all your heart.      You no longer want sin in your life.      You want to follow the ways of Christ.      You turned your back on all your sins.

4.  You asked Jesus Christ to come into your heart and save your life, and become your personal Lord and Saviour.  Your salvation is between you and God alone.  No one can ask God for your salvation, you must do it yourself.  No one can get salvation for you, because no one can save you except God.  Salvation is a covenant between you and God, no one else, that you must ask for and receive yourself.      

5.  You completely surrendered your life to Christ.  Submit your life to Jesus and obey His commands.  Submission to God is a requirement of salvation.  Without surrendering yourself to God you cannot receive His salvation.  We must surrender our will and take up God's will to become His child.  Surrender is based on trusting God with all aspects of our life, without trusting God for all things you cannot be saved. The children of obedience to God will inherit His Kingdom, none else.

6.  You believe and have faith in Jesus Christ.      Jesus Christ came to earth, was born of a virgin.  Jesus Christ died on a cross for your all sins. Jesus shed his blood so you could receive eternal life.  Jesus Christ rose on the third day after he died. Jesus ascended to heaven and now sits on the right hand side of God.

7.  You believe and have faith that Jesus Christ will return one day and carry you and all believers to heaven to live for eternity with God.  You patiently wait and earnestly hope for Christ's return.  Our last commandment from God was to watch, wait, and pray for Jesus' coming again.

8.  You love God the Father and Jesus, the Son of God.  You love God rather than the world.  God must be number one, first priority in your life to inherit all things. 

9.  You love all the children of God, love the brethren.  God is love.  When we accept the gift of God, eternal life, we accept His love.  The love of God in us comes out of us to all people.  God desires to give love to all people.  God desires that we also love one another.

10.  You believe and obey all the word of God.   All of God's word was given to us for our benefit, so that we can learn of God.  We cannot pick and choose what we believe of His word, we must by faith and trust in God believe all that is in His word.  God says if we love Him that we will not only know His word, but that we will do His word.  Doing God's word is obeying God.  The children of God are the children of obedience who do God's word.

11.  You are conscious of the Holy Spirit dwelling within you.  God gifts us not only salvation, but with His power by the Holy Spirit.  When we become the children of God through faith in Jesus Christ to receive the gift of God eternal salvation, we are given the Holy Spirit of God to help us, guide us, comfort us, be with us until we go home to Heaven.  The Holy Spirit dwells inside of all faithful believers.

12.  You purposely follow Christ in all the areas of your life.  You remain in Christ always, endure until the end.  God Himself gives all of His faithful obedient children power to follow His will in their life.  If we abide in Him and His word we will be given the power, fortitude, and desire to remain in the faith and purposefully follow Christ all the days of our lives.

 

If you are unsure you are saved, if you do not have assurance of your salvation, it is not too late. 

If you missed any area, it is not too late, pray now, and receive the free gift of salvation from God

Pray the prayer of salvation now and know without a doubt that you are saved , know for certain, without a doubt that you will spend eternity with Jesus and God the Father in heaven for eternity.

 

Prayer for salvation:

Dear God,  I come to You today in faith to confess that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness.  I ask Jesus to forgive me of my sins.  I repent of my sins and I am willing to turn from my sinful life. I want eternal life.  I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who died for my sins on a cross and rose from the grave and now lives and sits on the right hand side of God the Father.  I ask Jesus to come into my life and be my personal Lord and Saviour. Thank you GOD for your salvation.  I believe in you Jesus.  I know I am washed clean of all my sins by the blood Jesus shed on the cross.  I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

What is the proof that I am saved?

Yes, there is proof when you are truly saved.

There are several things that happen after someone is saved by the blood of Jesus Christ.

 

Your life will be changed

The word of God tells us all that true repentance toward salvation is always change.

The word of God reads all things become new, you become a new creature, your old ways are passed away, your old sins are not comfortable to you any more. 

You will NOT want to sin, after you have been saved by the redeeming blood of Christ.  Those desires you once had to sin have been washed away, cleansed, washed away by Jesus, by the power of God.

If you do sin, the Holy Spirit inside you will convict you of your sin and you will stop that sin, and repent of that sin immediatelyYou will have a urgent need to stop sinning and repent of all sins.

You will want to follow Christ and obey the word of God.

You will yearn to know more about God and about Jesus. 

You will want to be around other believers who share your faith.

You will want to share your faith with everyone.

 

Proof of my salvation:

  • I have changed my sinful way of life

  • I am sensitive to sin, I know when I have sinned

  • I immediately confess my sins and repent of my sins

  • I obey and do the word of God

  • I walk in the ways of Christ

  • I Love God and I Love Everyone

  • I do NOT love the world, the sinful, lustful ways of the world

  • I live righteously

  • I depart from evil; I do not sin willfully

  • I believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God

 

 

I change my sinful way of life

We abandon our old sinful life and follow and obey God.  We deny ourselves and follow the ways of Christ.

We want to be with other believers.

If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not know the truth:  But if we walk in the light, as he is the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.  1 John 1:6-7

That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;  And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.  Ephesians 4:22-24

 

Being saved, we are dead to sin, we no longer sin.

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.  1 Peter 2:24

 

I immediately confess my sins and repent

By God dwelling inside us, we are sensitive to sin, we can see sin immediately, we are convicted of our sin.

When we become a child of God through salvation, through faith in God, we see the world and sin the way God does, we become sensitive to sin, we see sin clearly.  We depart from the sin we see.

We are not to sin, but when we do, Jesus is our advocate for our sins. 

We are to confess our sins immediately and repent from our sins

True repentance is not to commit that sin again.

Believers do not accept sin in their lives. 

Believers want to follow Christ and be righteous.  

Sin is disgusting to believers in Christ Jesus.

 

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  1 John 1:8-9

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:  And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.  1 John 2:1-2

 

I obey and do the word of God

We are to follow God's commandments and instructions that He gave us in the word of God.

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.  But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.  1 John 2:3-5

And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.  And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.  1 John 3:23-24

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.  1 John 5:2

 

I walk in the ways of Christ

He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.  1 John 2:6

 

I Love everyone

God says if you hate anyone you are not of God.  Through salvation we are given the love of God.  We can love all people because of the love of God, we can love all people because God enables us to do so.

He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.  He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.  But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.  1 John 2:9-11

In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.  For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.  1 John 3:10-11

 

God says if you hate anyone, you do not have eternal life.

We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.  Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.  1 John 3:14-15

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.  1 John 4:7-8

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?  And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.  1 John 4:20-21

 

Love is not an option with God

God says you must love everyone, no exceptions.

God is very clear on this, if you cannot love, you cannot know God.

No exceptions, no excuses, God says you must love everyone.

 

How do you ask, can we love everyone? 

Remember you can do anything with God.  When you are saved, you are given the Holy Ghost, God lives inside of you, you are not alone anymore.  You are never alone.  You do nothing by yourself any more, you have God's help all the time.

With God all things are possible, this includes the ability to love everyone.

And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.  Mark 10:27

Through God's grace and God's mercy we are able to        forgive everyone                      and                              love everyone.

 

 

I do NOT love the world

For believers of Christ, this world is no longer our home, our home is in Heaven with our Heavenly Father God.  Believers do not love this wicked sinful world.  We are not concerned with the worldly cares of this life.

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.  And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.  1 John 2:15-17

 

I live righteously

By faith in God, through our faith in Christ Jesus, we have the righteousness of God.

If ye know that his is righteous, ye know that everyone that doeth righteousness is born of him.  1 John 2:29

And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into eternal life.  Matthew 25:46

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;  Romans 1:17-18

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:  Philippians 3:9

 

I depart from evil; I do not sin willfully

We are to run from evil and run from sin. 

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.  Psalm 34:14

The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.  Proverbs 16:17

If we continually live in sin, without confession of sin, and without repentance, we are not of God.

When we confess our sins and repent we are without sin.  We are to remain without sin. 

Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 1 John 3:6

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.  Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.  1 John 3:8-9

 

I believe in Jesus Christ the Son of God

Believers continue in their faith in God.  Our faith in Christ is not temporary, we hold onto our faith and carry our faith with us all the days of our lives.

He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.  And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.  He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.  These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.  1 John 5:10-13

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  Romans 10:9-10

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  Romans 10:13

Faith in God is believing that God is all that He says that He is in His word.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.  Hebrews 11:6

 

I have proof of my salvation from my spirit

When we are saved, when we become believers, our spirit is alive and shows us that God dwells in us.

Believers can feel a change inside their heart, the Spirit of God with our spirit.

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:  Romans 8:16

This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.  1 John 5:6

He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.  1 John 5:10

God dwells inside of believers, God is in us and with us all the days of our lives.
