The Word of GOD

Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.   Revelation 22:7

Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.   Romans 10:17

Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.   Revelation 1:3

For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.   Psalm 33:4

What is the Word of GOD?

 

The Word of God is the written words of God, the voice of God the Father, the voice of the Holy Ghost, the voice of Christ Jesus, and Jesus Christ is the Word.

 

The written Word of God

The Word of God is the written words of God, given to men by God to write down and give to all the people of this world, to learn His truth, and come to the knowledge of the His truth, and to receive His salvation and abundant eternal life.

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.   All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:   That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.   2 Timothy 3:15-17

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.   1 Timothy 2:3-4

 

  • The Word was God, from the beginning God was.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.   John 1:1

 

  • The Word of God created the worlds and the heavens.

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.   Hebrews 11:3

By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.   Psalm 33:6

 

  • The Word is Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.   John 1:14

And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.  Revelation 19:13

 

  • The Word of God is life

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.   Luke 4:4

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.   1 Peter 1:23

Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.   Proverbs 4:13

 

  • The Word of God is the voice of God

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.   Romans 10:17

 

  • The Word of God is the written word of God, we know as the Holy Bible.

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.   1 John 5:13

 

  • The Word of God cannot be broken

If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;   John 10:35

 

  • The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit of God - quick and powerful

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:   Ephesians 6:17

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.   Hebrews 4:12

 

  • The Word of God is true

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.    Psalm 119:160

 

  • The Word of God is living and will live forever

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.   1 Peter 1:23

But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.  1 Peter 1:25

This study is about the written Word of God, namely the Holy Bible.

 

The word of God is more than a book

We call the written Word of God the Holy Bible, the Holy book of God, but it is much more than a book, it is the living word of our living God.

But the word of God grew and multiplied.  Acts 12:24

No other book or piece of literature is alive, but the Word of God, the scriptures, the Holy Bible contains the living word of God.

God is living and His word is living.

The words of God were recorded in ancient times by human beings who were inspired of God, by the Holy Spirit.  These chosen men of God who penned the words of God, did not write their own private interpretation of what God said, NO they wrote the words of God as they were directed by the Holy Spirit.

It was impossible for these chosen men of God to write one word differently than was given to them by the Holy Spirit, because these books written were God's words.  Since the word of God was given to us by God Himself, not by the prophecy of men but of God, we know that today there can be no prophecy of the scripture by any private interpretation by any man. 

Yes, Moses wrote down the laws of God, but they weren't the private interpretation of Moses as to what God said.  The scriptures of God written down by Moses, was not by the will of Moses, but Moses wrote down the laws of God as given to Moses by the Holy Ghost.  There is no man that could have written the words of God by his own will, by the will of man, because prophecy of scripture is by the will of God, given by the Holy Ghost.

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:  Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.  2 Peter 1:19-21

 

Every word of scripture is true.  Every word of scripture has happened exactly as prophesied. 

But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.  Matthew 26:56

Every word of scripture prophesied for the future will occur, just as God has said.  The word of God, the Holy scriptures has always been fulfilled and will always be fulfilled.

God's law, the oracles of God, the revelation of God Himself was given to all mankind for our learning, for us to learn about God.  The word of God was written for us to bring us comfort and hope.

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.  Romans 15:4

The word of God cannot fail, is free from error, because it was written by God, and God is perfect. 

And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.  Luke 16:17

God promised that every word, every letter of God's word will be fulfilled.

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.  Matthew 5:18

 


Who wrote the Word of GOD?

God wrote the Holy Bible through Holy men who were moved by the Holy Ghost.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  2 Timothy 3:16

God Himself put His words into the hearts and minds of those who wrote the scriptures.

God put the gospel in the hearts of those who wrote the scriptures.

But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.  1 Thessalonians 2:4

Their hearts were tried by God Himself, to be proven Holy and acceptable to God, they were NOT out to please men, but to please God.

Scriptures are to be used to prove the validity of written or spoken words, to see if they truly are from God

Who does the written or spoken words profit? Man or God?

Does it please man or does it please God?  Does it stir up strife or stir up love?  Are the teachings and books confusingGod is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33).

 

The Word of God is not any private interpretation.

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.  2 Peter 1:20-21

 

Holy men of God wrote the words of God as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

The bible was NOT written by John or Paul, or by men, it was written by God through the Holy Spirit who put the gospel in their hearts.

The Holy Word of God was written NOT by any private interpretation of any man, but by the Holy Ghost, written by God.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one1 John 5:7

 


Why did GOD give us the Bible?

 

God gave us His Word so we could receive eternal life

God gave us His Holy Word so we might believe on his Son, Jesus and receive eternal life.

But these were written, that ye might believe that Jesus is Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.  John 20:31

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.  1 John 5:13

 

How clear is that?!  The word of God tell us that "these were written", these words, these scriptures, these chapters were written, "that you might believe", that you will choose to believe the truth, "that Jesus is Christ, the Son of God and that believing you might have life through His name."

Believe on the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.

 

God gave us His Word so that we wouldn't sin

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:  And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.  1 John 2:1-2

 

We are to live by every word of God

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written,   That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of GodLuke 4:4

 

For our learning

The word of God was given to us as instructions for life, comfort and hope.

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.  Romans 15:4

 

Instruction in righteousness

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness2 Timothy 3:16

 

That man may be perfect

That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.  2 Timothy 3:17

 

We are to DO the word of God, not just hear it

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.  James 1:22

 

We are to seek wisdom and instruction

Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.  Psalm 119:66

Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;  If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.  For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.  Proverbs 2:3-6

When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;  Proverbs 2:10

Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.  Proverbs 12:1

Every prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his folly.  Proverbs 13:16

A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth.  Proverbs 14:6

 

An understanding heart seeks knowledge

The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.  Proverbs 15:14

 

Wise seek knowledge

The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.  Proverbs 18:15

 

True knowledge doesn't talk too much

He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.  Proverbs 17:27

 

Instruction and knowledge is more precious than silver or gold

Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.  Proverbs 8:10

 

There is gold, and multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.  Proverbs 20:15

 

Fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.  Proverbs 9:10

 

Knowledge delivers the just

An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.  Proverbs 11:9

The simple inherit folly: but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.  Proverbs 14:18

 

Use knowledge right; share your knowledge

The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.  Proverbs 15:2

The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so.  Proverbs 15:7

 

Fools despise wisdom and instruction

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.  Proverbs 1:7

How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?  Proverbs 1:22

Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.  Proverbs 10:14

 

Don't listen to foolish, ungodly men

Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge.  Proverbs 14:7

 


What is the written Word of GOD?

 

The word of God, as in the Authorized King James translation of the Holy Bible, is God's revelation of Himself to humankind. 

The word of God, the Holy Bible is the words of God.

The word of God, both the Old and New Testaments are the words of God.

All of the word of God is free from error.  The word of God is living words that pertain not only to past events in history, but instruction how God wants us to live our lives and are fully applicable today.

Only the Word of God, His Holy Word, is God's revelation to mankind.  Books written by other people are not the word of God.

 

Inspired words of God.

The word of God is the words of God, written by the Holy Spirit, words given to many different God inspired holy men, to record history, to record the future, and to record the revelation of God to humankind.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  2 Timothy 3:16

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.  2 Peter 1:20-21

 

The word of God is NOT the private interpretation of any man, or of who wrote it down.  The word of God is the words of God, the living word of God.

This one verse puts away many of the false religions and cults of today.  God specifically states that scripture is NOT of any private interpretation.  No man on this earth today, no man in this world, has any private interpretation rites to the word of God.  The Word of God means what God says it means, not what any man says it means.

One of the signs of a cult is that the founder or leaders of the cult state that they alone know the true meaning of the word of God, and everyone must believe what they say, instead of God's word.

The word of God is NOT of any private interpretation.  The word of God is only from God, the word of God is NOT from any man, human being.

Any changes to the word of God is false doctrine.  When any man changes the word of God, or explains the scriptures differently from what God wrote down, it is false doctrine.

Any man or woman, any person, who teaches anything other than what is written in the word of God, written by God, this person is a false prophet, a false teacher, and must repent or perish.  And all the people who follow such people must repent or perish.

People today are literally dying to follow something, dying to follow someone that tells them that they are okay and everything in their life is okay.  People are following false teachings and false leaders and false prophets, following them straight to hell.

 

The Word of God is NOT the word of man

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.  For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.  Galatians 1:11-12

The gospel that was preached by the disciples of Christ was not after man, was not the tradition of man, but they preached the gospel of Christ Jesus.

This verse also teaches us what is a false religion or cult.  Any teaching that is about anything other than the gospel of Christ is a false religion and cult.

All false religions and cults promote their teachings and traditions of man above the word of God.  They preach of themselves, their religion, their doctrine and NOT the doctrine of God, the doctrine of Christ.

Any teaching that is NOT about Christ Jesus alone, is false teaching.  Sometimes these cults weave in a little Jesus to convert people who do not know the teachings of Christ.  False teachings are NOT validated with a little teaching of Jesus Christ. 

The word of God reads you cannot have both.  You cannot serve the devil and God.  Any teaching other than that of the word of God is straight from the devil.

 

History of all creation.

The word of God is our history, from the beginning.  The word of God is the history of all creation.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  Genesis 1:1

The word of God starts with the beginning of the world, when God created the heaven and the earth, and ends with the end of the world, and rule of God and the kingdom of God.

The word of God teaches us how the earth was created, how we were created, our purpose on earth, and the way we are to live with each other, and take care of our planet earth.

The word of God contains our past, my past and your past, our history and future.

 

Instruction for our life.

The word of God contains complete instruction for mankind.

The word of God teaches us how to live and how to die and everything in between.

 

Contains our Future

The word of God contains our future and the future of the world as we know it. 

The future events that will affect ALL of mankind.

Want to know your future?  Look in the word of God.  Only God can tell you the future.  Only God knows what is at the end of your life.  Only the Creator of the universe, knows what will happen in the future.

Why would you look anywhere else, or look to anyone other than the one who made you?

No one knows your future except your creator.  No person on this earth knows your future except your creator.

 

Earthly birth, Life, Crucifixion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The word of God gives the complete history of Jesus Christ.  His birth in Jerusalem, His life preaching the gospel, His cruel death on the cross and his miraculous resurrection.

How God sent his only begotten Son, Jesus, as a sacrifice for our sins, so we can be redeemed and cleansed of our sin and receive the gift of God, which is eternal life.

 


Why can there only be one revelation of GOD?

 

Because there is only one God, there is only one revelation of God, given to men by God Himself.

We were not given many revelations of God; no, we were given one, one revelation of God contained in the Holy Scriptures, the Word of God.

God does not give new revelations of Himself.  One revelation of God was given and one revelation will stand true.  We are told through His Word, that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  God does not change.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.  Hebrews 13:8

The foundation of Biblical truth is sound, unchangeable, irreversible, eternal, we are able to build our life upon the truth of God, given to us through His word.

We do not have to worry it will change tomorrow, because God promised it will stand the test of all time, all promises will be fulfilled.

God is faithful to deliver ALL that He has promises to us in His word.

Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;  Deuteronomy 7:9

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)  Hebrews 10:23

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.  1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.  2 Thessalonians 3:3

 

The Word is God

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  Genesis 1:1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the word was God.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  John 1:1

The word of God is more than just words written in a book.  God is the Word.  Everything good we know about is made by God.

In the beginning - before anything we know about - was God.

There was no time before God.  God has always existed. There was never a time before God.   Nothing was before God.

Only God is infinite, immortal, without beginning and without end.  There is no starting point to God, He has always been.   If you could go back to the starting point of all things, God was before that.

Human beings are not infinite, because we have a starting point, we have a beginning.

God is the beginning of the beginning.

There is no one wiser or more powerful than God.  God is the Creator of ALL wisdom.  God holds all the wisdom of the universe.  God holds everything in His hands. 

God was first of all things.  There is NOT anything above God.  There is NO power greater than the power of God.

 

God the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost are one.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.  1 John 5:7

Don't be confused by the devil - Only these three are one - the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost. 

No other "three" in the Bible are called one - only these three are one.

Where are these three?  In Heaven.

What "record" do these three bear?  The record that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.  1 John 5:11

These three - the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost - bear one record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

How can these three - the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost - be ONEBecause He is God.  God said these three are one.

Remember nothing is impossible with God.

For with God nothing shall be impossible.  Luke 1:37

We cannot look at God from human boundaries, God can be all that He is because He is the Almighty God.

God's ways are past finding out, for our small human minds.  God is not limited to the physics and laws of man.

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!  Romans 11:33

 

The Word of God is true

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.  Psalm 119:160

For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.  1 Thessalonians 2:13

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.  John 17:17

 

The word of the Lord is right

For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth.  Psalm 33:4

 

The Word of God is very pure

Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.  Psalm 119:140

Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.  Proverbs 30:5

 

The word of God is a lamp unto our feet

NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.  Psalm 119:105

 

The Word of God cannot be broken.

The word of God is not bound.

Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.  2 Timothy 2:9

 

The word of God lives forever, stands forever, endures forever

The word of the Lord is tried

As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.  2 Samuel 22:31

As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.  Psalm 18:30

 

The word of God is settled in heaven

LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.  Psalm 119:89

 


Why is the Word of GOD called the Holy Bible?

The Word of God is called the Holy Bible. 

The word bible translated means book, therefore we call the Word of God the Holy Book, or the Holy Bible.

Our LORD God inspired different people to write down His words in the different books of the Holy Bible, by the Holy Ghost.

 

And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it n the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.  Exodus 17:14

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  2 Timothy 3:16

 

The men who wrote down the words of God, did NOT write down their own thoughts and words, they wrote down the words of God.

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.  2 Peter 1:20

The word of God, His scriptures, are NOT of any one person's private interpretation.  

The letters, the chapters, that Paul wrote, are NOT Paul's private interpretation of anything.  Paul was given the words that he wrote down, as they were moved by the Holy Ghost, through God. 

The same is true of the words that Moses wrote down, and Matthew, and John, everyone who gave their heart, mind, soul, and body to God, to be used as a means of getting the word of God to the world.

The words that these men wrote down were not their own words, but the words of the God Almighty, the Creator of all things.

The words that these men wrote down were not written by the will of man, but by the will of God.

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.  2 Peter 1:21

 

The word of God is the book of covenant

And he took the book of the covenant, and read it in the audience of the people: and thy said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.  Exodus 24:7

And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priest the Levites:  Deuteronomy 17:18

If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;   Deuteronomy 28:58

Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, him will the LORD bring upon thee, unto thou be destroyed.  Deuteronomy 28:61

The word of God is the book of the law, God's law

And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in the book of the law:  Deuteronomy 29:21

If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.  Deuteronomy 30:10

And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying, Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.  Deuteronomy 31:24-26

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.  Joshua 1:8

As Moses the servant of the LORD commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the book of the law of Moses, an altar of whole stones, over which no man hath lift up any iron: and they offered thereon burnt offerings unto the LORD and sacrificed peace offerings.  Joshua 8:31

And afterward he read all the words of the law, the blessings and cursings, according to all that is written in the book of the law.  Joshua 8:34

Is every 'bible' the word of GOD?

No, not every bible in the world that is sold today is the word of God.

People have attached the word 'bible' to all forms of books. 

There are software 'bibles', sports 'bibles', craft and hobby 'bibles', food 'bibles', financial 'bibles', medical 'bibles', you can find a 'bible' for virtually everything these days.

There are 'religious bibles' for every sort of belief today and they are not all the word of God, even if they claim to be.

Anyone in the world can write a book and call it a bible.  If it supports a belief they have thought up, they can calm to be inspired by God and call their book a religious bible, and never even know anything about God.

This is nothing new.  It has been going on since the first pages were written down.

The last days before the end of the world are described in the Word of God. 

The scriptures tell us that there will be many false teachers, false religions, false bibles, and even false Christs that will deceive the people of the world, and not just the world but the elect.

 

Counterfeit Bibles

Not all "bibles" sold in the world today are from God

Not all "bibles" sold in the world today are scripture given by the inspiration of God.  Not all "bibles" sold in the world today are the words of God.

Not all "bibles" sold in the world today are free from the will of man and private manmade interpretation.

Some so called "bibles" are written just by ordinary men. 

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.  Colossians 2:8

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.  Matthew 24:11

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.  1 John 4:1

 

One way to know if you have a false bible is if your bible does not tell the gospel of Christ Jesus.

One way to know if your bible is true is if it teaches that God is the absolute final authority, nothing is put above God, nothing else is worshiped and served except God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.

One way to know if your bible is false if it is different from the King James Holy Bible.

Every counterfeit bible that I have seen contains errors, passages that contradict itself, and does not remain true.

 


Which version of the Bible is correct?

There are many translations and versions of the Holy Bible in the world today. 

 

What is the difference between a translation and a version? 

A translation takes one language and translates it into another language.  An example is translating the word from Greek or Hebrew and into English.  This is what was done in the King James Holy Bible.

A version is when someone takes the bible, like the King James Holy Bible and changes and removes words to accommodate their view on what was said.  They insert their manmade interpretation of what is being said.  A version may say they use "modern" language, or "easier" language, so people today can understand.

I personally read the Authorized King James translation of the Holy Scriptures.  After reading about the origins of how we received this translation, from the Hebrew and Greek original text, I have concluded this is the most accurate translation.

Since I am not a Hebrew or Greek scholar, I am unable to read the original letters of the apostles of Christ, or the old testament scrolls.

The original King James translation was written in 1611.  These scriptures were translated in English so everyone could read the word of God.  The original fonts were changed from gothic to roman.  The English words were standardized throughout and misspelled words were corrected which lead to the 1873 Edition which I read and study today.

 

The word of God is incorruptible and indestructible.  The word of God is true.  The word of God is free from all error.

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.  Matthew 5:18

Even though it seems a new version of the bible is published every year, with more and more edits and deletions made with each version, that the publishers say is to make reading it clearer, I will stay with the King James translation because it has not been altered, filtered and watered down.

 

Know what you are reading, and where its origins are from.

Did you know that a lot of the so called new modern versions of the bible have many whole verses missing and deleted wordsImportant words like Lord and Christ are removed to make their version "more clear". 

It is so easy these days to research anything.  The internet is great for finding out anything.  If you do not have a computer or access to the internet you can go to a public library for research.  Most public libraries these days have computers with internet access.

The Authorized King James translation of the Holy Bible has simple words and is written so anyone can understand. Children and people with disabilities are able to understand this easy to read bible. 

What about the 'thou' 'thine' and 'thy', we just don't talk like that today?  It is really not that hard to get used to reading, if you think about what they mean.

 


Why read the Authorized King James translation?

 

Let's say you are in a war.  You are on the battle field.  The enemy is coming up fast behind you and you must get going.

You are at Point A and you must get to Point B.  In the field ahead there are traps laid out to kill you. 

There are pits dug in the earth to slow you down, trip you up, and stop you from moving forward. 

There are bombs buried in the earth, to maim or even kill you.

You do NOT want to die.  You must get across the land mined field fast.

You find two maps with detailed instructions how to navigate through the field to safety, to Point B, to life. 

One map is dark and new and the other map is lighter and older than the other map.

The dark map is very new and up to date with catchy phrases, very modern, fancy paper, full color, very flashy, but you are not sure who wrote it, and it could have even been written by the enemy.

The old and lighter map and instructions are written so simple a child could understand it, but it is very old and very plain, and some of the words are very out dated, but you can read and understand every word.

Oh, and the author of the older lighter instructions are written by someone that has already gone through the field of land minesIt is written by someone who has already made it to the other side and is waiting on you.

You must make a decision, the enemy is coming up fast behind you, and the enemy will reach you soon.  Which map to use?  Which instructions do you follow?

If you stay where you are you will surly die, if you go out into the field without directions, instructions as to where the land mines are you will surely die.

 

Which instructions would you use?  

I don't think there is any contest, you would pick the instructions written by the one who has already gone through the danger, who has overcome death and destruction and who made it to the other side, the one who made it to life.

Of course my analogy is about Jesus.  Jesus was manifested in the flesh, lived on earth as a man.  He lived in our world, and He went through the field of land mines on earth, all that the devil threw at Him. 

Jesus was victorious, defeated sin and death, and lives forever in the kingdom of God.

God wrote down the instructions of life for ALL of the world to follow, how every person can get from death to life everlasting, how to get from Point A, our life here, to Point B which is eternal life with God forever.

Which bible do you want to read?   I am going to read the one closest to the original, the Authorized King James Holy Bible.

These other new modern bibles may use newer, more progressive language, but when they change words, delete words, delete whole sentences and verses, this is NOT acceptable to me, because I need all the words and all the verses from God.

I don't want to miss out on anything, because I am at war in the world today and going through land mines that the devil has placed before me, every day.

I need all the guidance and all the instruction from God I can get.

Can you give me an example of a changed verse?

You said that some translations of the Bible delete words, change words, delete verses and change verses.  Can you give me an example of a changed verse?

An example of a changed verse

We know by reading the word of God, who God calls the bright and morning star is Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.  Revelation 22:16

We know from scripture that Jesus is the bright and morning star.  Jesus is the one and only Morning Star.

Some counterfeit versions of the Bible, call Lucifer, satan, the devil, the morning star.

Isaiah 14 speaks about the fall of satan, Lucifer, from heaven.  Some counterfeit versions of the word of God change Lucifer to morning star.

Jesus was never and is not the devil.  These versions of the truth of God are changed to confuse and lessen our God.

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!  Isaiah 14:12

 

It is very evident in the King James translation that this scripture is speaking about satan, Lucifer, but if you look at this verse in other versions of the Bible, they change this verse to morning star.

The following is from the New International Version.  How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! New International Version Isaiah 14:12.  The NIV version calls satan, the morning star.  This is incorrect, this is very wrong.   Why did they change this verse to call satan the morning star?  The bright and morning star is NOT satan, is NOT lucifer.

The bright and morning star is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

This incorrect verse alone should prompt any true believer to throw out the false bibles.  Do you really want to read a bible that perverts Christ into the devil?  I don't think so.

DO NOT BE DECEIVED by the false bibles of the world.

 

 

An example of a deleted verse

And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest.  And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  Acts 8:37

The word of God clearly states over and over again that in order to receive the gift of salvation, that one must believe with all their heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

This is a critical verse and should NOT be deleted in any version of God's Holy Word.

In many versions of the bible this verse is completely removed.

There are so many verses, words of God, that have been removed by people "updating" the bible that I will not list them all.  If you want a list, please contact me.

 


What does the Word of GOD give us?

 

Faith comes by hearing the word of God.

Our beliefs are based on faith.  We cannot see God, but we believe in Him because of our faith.  We cannot see Christ, but we believe in Him for our salvation.

We receive our faith by hearing God.

The scriptures of God tells us that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.  Romans 10:17

Therefore, it only makes since in order to increase our faith in God, we must increase our study of the word of God, and we must increase our communication with God.

Hearing the word of God is NOT just reading His word, it is HEARING God.  In order to hear God we must talk to God.

The word of God is not just in the Bible, the word of God comes from God every day that when we spend time with Him praying and worshiping Him.

Through faith we receive understanding of the mystery of God.

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.  Hebrews 11:3

By the word of God the worlds were framed, and we know this and understand this only through faith in Him alone.

The things which we see today, the sky and the ground, the trees, the clouds, everything that is seen were made by things which we cannot see.

 

Our Christian life is dead, nonexistent without faith. 

  • We can do nothing without faith.  
  • We must live by faith every day.   
  • We must practice our faith every day.   
  • We must have obedience along with faith.

 

No one can have eternal life without faith in Jesus Christ.

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.  Galatians 3:26

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our LordRomans 6:23

 


Is the Word of GOD complete?

Yes, the word of God is complete to that which God wanted to be written down and share with His people and the world.

Not every thought of God is written down, how could it be? God is infinite.  If every word of God was written down, the world itself could not contain the number of books it would take.

The word of God does not contain all the miracles of Jesus.  How could it?  Jesus was before the world began.  Jesus is infinite, never ending.

And there are so many other things that Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every on, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.  John 21:25

Please note with this verse of scripture, we know that there are many other things that are not written in the word of God, but through faith we accept that all the words that God wanted us to have, the full and complete revelation of Himself, are in His Word that He gave to us.

Some false teachers who are out in the world today, living in the flesh and not in the spirit, twist the word of God to support their unholy false doctrines and manmade teachings. 

Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.  1 Corinthians 2:13-14

One such false teaching is to say that something did NOT happen, because it is NOT in the word of God.

How ridiculous!  Just because something is NOT in the word of God, does NOT mean it did NOT happen.  God was before the world began.  God was before He created the heavens and the earth.  Who could possibly think that something didn't happen just because it is not in His word?

There are NO LIMITS with God.

I read not long ago, in one of the cults of this world, where they were trying to explain in their man made religion, that something didn't happen because it couldn't happen, it wasn't humanly possible.  They are trying to make the bible logical according to their human minds.

Man has limitations, but God has NO limits.

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:  Romans 8:14

The only way to understand the Spirit of God is through our saved spirit and our saved spiritual mind. 

A lost, carnal, worldly mind will never understand God and will never know God (1 Corinthians 2:14).

True believers know that through faith in Jesus Christ, that Almighty God is beyond human comprehension and if God said it happened, that it in fact DID happen.

 

When the word of God reads:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was GodJohn 1:1

 

How can the Word be in the beginning and be with God and be God?

Some false teachings like to say that it is impossible to be God and with God, at the same timeTheir manmade doctrine says that no one can be and be with at the same. 

What they are saying is, that it doesn't mean anything, the fact that God said it could be that way, their carnal mind does not understand it, so it cannot be so.

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  Romans 8:6

 

The word of God reads that the carnal mind, the lost, can never understand the spiritual ways of God.  A carnal mind does NOT KNOW GOD.

God says that in order to understand the word of God you must have the Spirit of God inside of you, abiding in you, and the only way to receive the Spirit of God is through God's only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

The word of God reads without the spirit dwelling inside, unless you abide in the Spirit of God, you cannot see God.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  John 3:3,5-6

 

How can the Word be in the beginning and the Word was with God and the word was God?   Because God said it.

And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.  Mark 10:27

We must always remember what God said:  With men it is impossible, but NOT with God, for with God ALL things are possible.

 

ALL things are possible WITH GOD.  GOD HAS NO LIMITS.

 

Using our earthly minds we cannot comprehend, we cannot see how something can be, but God does not have a earthly mind, He has a heavenly mind, He is God, and NOTHING is impossible with God.

No human being is on the same level as God.  We should never try and put ourselves in the same mindset as God.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.  John 1:14

The Word was made flesh, the glory of the only begotten of the Father.

Who is the only begotten Son of God the Father?  Jesus Christ.

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.  John 20:31

Who is the Word?  Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of Father God.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.  1 Timothy 3:16

The scriptures tell us that great is the mystery of godliness and that God was manifest in the flesh.

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.  1 John 3:8

The scriptures tell us that God was manifested in the flesh and the Word was made flesh, and the Son of God was manifested.

Therefore we know for a truth, through these scriptures and many, many more that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and was God manifested in the flesh and the only begotten of the Father is the Word.

Knowing that Jesus is the Word we can say that, "In the beginning was Jesus, and Jesus was with God and Jesus was God.

How to be wise?

 

Receive instruction

Be wise by listening to advise and accepting instruction from God.

Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.  There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.  Proverbs 19:20,21

 

A soul without knowledge is not good

Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.  Proverbs 19:2

 


How to gain knowledge?

Knowledge of God is received through God.

Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.  Proverbs 19:25

Cease, my son, to hear instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge.  Proverbs 19:27

 

Receive knowledge through instruction from God's word

When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.  Proverbs 21:11

 

Apply your heart to God's knowledge and instruction

Bow down thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply thine heart unto my knowledge.  Proverbs 22:17

Apply thine heart unto instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge.  Proverbs 23:12

 

We must apply, not just read the word of God. 

We must take action and do what the word of God reads, not just read and study.

 

The LORD preserves knowledge

The eyes of the LORD preserve knowledge, and he overthroweth the words of the transgressor.  Proverbs 22:12

 

Through knowledge we are filled with God's beautiful treasures

Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them.  For their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk mischief.  Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:  And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.  A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.   Proverbs 24:1-5

And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.  Isaiah 33:6

 

God gives us knowledge

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.  2 Corinthians 4:6

 

We should be filled with the knowledge of God's will.

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;   Colossians 1:9,10

 

We are renewed in knowledge.

And have put on a new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:  Colossians 3:10

 


How can I understand the word of GOD?

How do I read and understand the word of God?

Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.  1 Corinthians 2:13-14

In order to understand the truth that is the word of God, you must be saved

Truth is only obtained by believing in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  John 14:6

A current and personal relationship with Jesus Christ is required in order to understand the word of God.

Anyone of course can read the word of God without being saved, but they CANNOT and WILL NOT understand the truth, and the knowledge of God, and the mystery of God without true salvation.

A lost, sinful and carnal mind cannot see God.  The lost are blind to the truth. 

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  Romans 8:6

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.  1 Corinthians 2:14

 

The lost cannot see the truth of the word of God, it is hid from them by the devil, who blinds their minds so that they do NOT believe in Jesus.

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:  In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.  2 Corinthians 4:3-4

The only way to remove the veil from the eyes of the lost, is through the gift of God, which is salvation by believing in the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ.  Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away.  2 Corinthians 3:14,16

 

The lost are alienated from God.

Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:  Ephesians 4:18

 

There is liberty from the bondage of sin and death, and His name is Jesus Christ.  Liberty and victory are only through Christ the Lord.

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.  2 Corinthians 3:17

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.  John 8:32

 

Jesus Christ is the only truth, and the truth shall make you free.

If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:  Ephesians 4:21

For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.  1 Thessalonians 2:13

 

Jesus came to save the lost.

For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.  Matthew 18:11

 

It is the will of God that ALL human beings be saved.

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.  1 Timothy 2:3-4

 

The children of God are those who know God, and who God knows, can see the truth in the word of God.

We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.  1 John 4:6

 


Why should we read the Word of GOD?

We are to study the word of God, not just read.

The word of God teaches us how to live our lives according to God's plan.  The word of God shows us His Will.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly diving the word of truth.  2 Timothy 2:15

 

To see where we are going and not fall.

Your word is a lamp into my feet and a light for my path.  Psalm 119:105

 

To avoid mistakes in our lives.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.  Matthew 22:29

And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye know therefore err, because ye know not the Scriptures, neither the power of God.  Mark 12:24

 

Make us wise unto salvation.

The Scriptures will make you wise unto salvation.  And that from a child thou hast known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.  2 Timothy 3:15

 

Eternal life.

Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.  John 5:39

 

The Scriptures will make you wise unto salvation.

And that from a child thou hast known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.  2 Timothy 3:15

 

To live life abundantly

The word of God was given so we could have live and live that live more abundantly.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.  John 10:10

 

To live in full joy

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.  John 15:11

 


What about other books, can I read them AND the Bible?

Reading and studying the word of God, should be your first priority.

God's word should be above all other books that you read.

God's word should be the final authority.  The doctrine of God, the doctrine of Christ, the gospel of Christ Jesus, is the only source of the word of God.

The truth is in the word of God.  No other doctrines or books should be placed above the word of God.

If a book or doctrine is in conflict with the word of God, it is false.

It is not good to go to other books for your source of truth.

 

The word of God is the source of the truth. 

 

The beauty of God is revealed in His word. 

The Glory of God is revealed in His word. 

The understand of God is revealed in His word.

The wisdom of God is revealed in His word.

The LOVE of GOD is revealed in His word.

The salvation of God is revealed in His word.

The mystery of God is revealed in His word.

 

Do you really want to know God?  Really know and understand the mystery of God?

 

Then go directly to the source, the Author, the Creator of ALL things, go to the word of God, to learn about God.

I am not saying that books about God are wrong.  I am saying other books should be read after you read what God has to say, after you read the word of God.  Know what God has to say, otherwise you will not know how to discern the truth from the lies of the world.

When you have a question concerning your life, your first research on the subject should be received from the word of God.

The word of God has full instructions for life.  The word of God contains the past, the present, and the future concerning you life.

 

Who can understand you better than the one who created you?  God knows all about you.  God knows your thoughts.  God has seen you every second of your life.  Nothing is hidden from God.  No one understands you better than the Creator. 

And no one loves you more than your Creator, no one will ever love you more than God.   No one can out love God.   God is the Creator of love, and all things, GOD IS LOVE.

No one cares more for you than God.  The Creator of all things, cares for all things.  No one will ever care more for you than God.

Since no one can understand you more than God can, why would you take anyone's word over God's word, the Creator of all things?

Again, I am not saying that we should not read other books.  What I am saying is that no other book's view or opinion, can be better than the view an opinion of God Almighty.

 

I've read the bible, so what?  Many people have read the bible and just didn't get it.

I can read a book on brain surgery, but that doesn't make me a brain surgeon. 

A doctor goes to school and learns how the body works, how every part of the body functions.  Through many, many years of medical school, hours of lectures and teaching, some of those people become doctors.

Why aren't all people doctors?  Because they cannot comprehend the instructions, because the medical terminology doesn't click with them, doesn't sink into them.

Why am I not a brain surgeon, if I read a book about it, because the truth of the subject does not enter me, my mind does not understand it.

This is the same reason why some people who read the bible just don't get it.

 

Reading the bible does not make you a believer of God.

 

A believer of God has asked God into their heart to be the ruler of their life, through faith in God.

God must be in you, in order for you to understand the word of God, His word.   God must dwell inside of you, in order for you to understand the mystery of His Word.  God must abide inside of you and you must abide in God.

You must be in God, and God must be in you, in order for you to comprehend, understand the Spirit of God.

You must be born again of God.  The Spirit of God must abide inside of you, in order for you to grasp the Glory of God, to understand the depths of righteousness, which is God.

 

How does God get inside of me?

Salvation is the only way to God.  You must be saved to see God, to know God and for God to know you.

Salvation is obtained by believing in His only begotten Son.

Jesus Christ is the only way to life everlasting. 

Receiving the Spirit of God is the only way to see God, in the kingdom of God.

You must receive the Spirit of God through salvation in order to understand the word of God.

There is no other way.

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:  John 11:25

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  John 14:6

 


Why should I obey the Scriptures?

Why should I do what the Scriptures say?

Because we love God

If ye love me, keep my commandments.  John 14:15

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.  John 14:21

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.  1 John 5:2

 

His love is perfected in us

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.  1 John 2:5

And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:  Revelation 2:26

 

To abide in God's love

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.  John 15:10

And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.  1 John 3:24

 

 

To know God

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.  1 John 2:3

 

To receive what we ask

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.  1 John 3:22

 

Blessed

Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.  Revelation 22:7

But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.  Luke 11:28

Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.  Revelation 1:3

 

To receive eternal life

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.  John 5:24

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.  John 20:31

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.  Matthew 19:17

Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.  John 8:51

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.  Revelation 3:10

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are thy which testify of me.  John 5:39

 


Why can't I understand the Bible?

How can I learn to understand the Bible?

I read and read, but I cannot understand anything in the bible, what is wrong with me?

Why is the Bible so hard to understand?  The Bible just doesn't make any sense to me.

Are these question and statements from you?  Have you tried to read the Bible but just find it too hard to get into, to understand? 

 

There is an answer, it is salvation.

 

Remember there are only two types of people in the world that God sees, people who are lost and people who are saved.

God says in His Holy scriptures that the lost of the world are blind and cannot see God.  The lost of the world can never thoroughly understand His Word, His scriptures, the Bible.

Before anyone can read and understand the Holy Bible, they must first be one of God's children, they must be saved.

Well, you may say, how can one be saved, if the lost are blind to the word?

God gives everyone, every person in the whole world, the ability to see Him. 

Do we need a Bible to be saved?  Of course not.  Salvation is from God.  No one is required to be read from a Bible to be saved.

God's presence is everywhere in the world. 

God gives every individual person the ability to understand Him and accept Him into their lives.   The choice is ours.  Every person in the world has a choice to accept God.

If you are saved, but still have trouble understanding the word of God, there is help.

Can you tie a shoe?  Of course you can, but when you were a child and your mother showed you how to tie your shoelace, it was very confusing.  A child thinks that they will never learn how to tie a shoe, because it is hard to learn.

How did you learn to tie your shoe?  You practiced.  You tied your shoe over and over until you learned how to do it.

How can you ever understand the Bible?  Practice.  By reading and studying the word of God you can and will understand what God says in His word.

The word of God is living.  God is alive and so is His word.  The word of God does not change, but we do.  As we read and study God's word, His word will change our lives and the way we think. 

If we earnestly and sincerely want to understand the word of God, He will open our eyes and let us see His wondrous things, if we ask Him.

Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.  Psalm 119:18

Pray before you read God's word and ask God to open your eyes that you may see His wondrous things in His word.

 


How long should we obey the word of God?

How long does God say that we need to keep his commandments and obey His word?

We are told by the scriptures to keep His word until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.

That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, unto the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:  1 Timothy 6:14

 


What if we don't obey the word of GOD?

We err not knowing the word of God

Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.  Matthew 22:29

 

God says if don't obey His word, we don't love God

He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.  John 14:24

 

If we don't obey God, but say we know God, we are a liar

He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.  1 John 2:4

 


What is the Book of Life?

The Book of Life holds the names of everyone who has life everlasting, eternal life with God. 

The Book of Life is kept by God. 

The Book of Life holds the names of every believer of Christ Jesus, the children of God, who are spending everlasting eternity with God in Heaven.

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.  Revelation 3:5

 

People who believe in God and overcome the lusts and sins of the world will be named in the book of life.

 

 

Not everyone's name is written in the book of life, only believers.

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.  Revelation 13:8

The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast and was, and is not, and yet is.  Revelation 17:8

 

The world will be judged by the Book of Life.

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.  Revelation 20:12

 

If your name is not found in the Book of Life, you will be cast into Hell.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.  Revelation 20:15

 

Is your name written in God's book of Life?

Whose names are written in God's book of life:

  • Only those who believe in the Son of God, Jesus Christ.  
  • Only those who believe Jesus was born of a virgin, lived on earth as a man, was crucified on a cross, rose from the dead after three days in the grave, and was resurrected from death into life everlasting.  
  • Only those that believe Jesus reigns today and forever on the right side of God in heaven, the kingdom of God.   
  • Only those who confess their sins, ask Jesus to be the Lord and Savior over their lives, and repent of their sins, turn from sin and follow, serve and obey Christ will have their name added in the book of Life.

 

Only believers will enter heaven, whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.  Revelation 21:27

 

No one has seen the Book of Life, which God keeps and with will judge the world.

Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.  Exodus 32:32

And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.  Exodus 32:33

 


How can I get MY name in the Book of Life?

 

To have your name placed in God's book of life, you must be saved, and to receive the gift of salvation, you must believe in Jesus Christ.

 

  • Believe in Jesus Christ 

God said there is no other way to Him but through his Son, Jesus Christ.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  John 3:16

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.  Acts 16:31

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.  Acts 4:12

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  John 14:6

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.  John 3:15

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life: but the wrath of God abideth in him.  John 3:36

 

  • Confess with your mouth that you believe in Jesus.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God that raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  Romans 10:9

 

  • Know you are a sinner 

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;  Romans 3:23

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.  1 Timothy 1:15

 

  • Confess your sins and ask Jesus to forgive your sins

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  1 John 1:9

 

  • Ask Jesus to come into your life and be Lord over all of your life

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  Romans 10:13

 

  • Repent of your sins

We must all turn away from sin and turn to God, we must all repent in order to receive salvation.

I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perishLuke 13:3, 5

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;  Acts 3:19

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repentActs 17:30

 

  • Take up your cross and follow Jesus

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.  Luke 9:23

And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.  Matthew 10:38

 

 

God promises everlasting life to anyone who believes in Jesus

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting lifeJohn 3:16

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  Ephesians 2:8

What happens to anyone who changes the word of GOD?

God is very serious and God gives a clear warning to anyone who changes His Holy word.

God said if anyone adds to or takes away from his word, they would receive all the plagues in His word and their name is removed from the book of life, meaning they will not receive eternal life.

For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of this prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:  And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this bookRevelation 22:18-19

Anyone who changes the word of God, adds to it or takes away from it will be cast into hell.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.  Revelation 20:15 

The devil knows his own destiny.  The devil knows he will be cast into the lake of fire, hell.  Therefore, the devil does not care that he changes the word of God around to suit his needs. The devil will twist and turn the word of God around to get what he wants and to please himself. 

This is why so many people of the world twist and turn the word of God around to say what they want it to say, to say what the devil wants them to think it says.

The devil twists the minds of some people to reword the bible in order to fit their own beliefs, to satisfy their own needs, so they can have a religion they want and to falsely claim and say it is from God, when in fact it is not of God, but straight from the devil.

When any religion changes (adds to or takes away from) the word of God, it is false, it is wrong and should not be believed.

There are many, many so called religions and teachings today that have reworded the bible to fit the beliefs of men. 

Who would want to follow the teachings of any man?  I don't, I want to only follow the teachings of the one true God.

Any religion that changes the word of God and says that they still worship God is a false religion and is of the devil.  Why? because God tells us so in Revelation 22:18-19.

He warns us about false religions and prophets in His word.

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.  2 Peter 2:1

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.  1 John 4:1

 


How to tell if a religion is false?

God said to use His word, use the word of God to prove sound doctrine.  If it goes along with the word of God, if it can be proven with God's word it is sound doctrine.  If it says anything different than the word of God is a false doctrine.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  2 Timothy 3:16

The doctrine of Christ says that:

  • Jesus Christ came to earth in the flesh
  • Jesus is the Christ
  • Jesus is the Son of God
  • Jesus Christ and God the Father are one
  • Jesus died for the sins of the world on a cross
  • Jesus was buried and rose from the grave, was resurrected
  • Jesus ascended into Heaven and sits on the right hand of God
  • Jesus is the only way to salvation and the kingdom of God
  • Salvation is the gift of God through belief in His Son Jesus
  • Jesus will return to earth one day
  • The just will be separated from the unjust
  • Jesus will resurrect the dead in Christ
  • Jesus will resurrect the living in Christ
  • Jesus will judge all the world
  • Those that believed not in Jesus will be cast into hell
  • Those that believe in Jesus will receive their reward, the crown of life
  • Heaven and earth will be destroyed
  • God will create a new heaven and a new earth, not of this world
  • Believers of Christ will spend eternity in the kingdom of God

  • Jesus is the Christ

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.  John 20:30

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.  1 John 2:22

 

  • Jesus is the Son of God

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.  1 John 4:15

Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;  And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:  Romans 1:3-4

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?  1 John 5:5

 

  • Without Jesus Christ we are without God

That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:  Ephesians 2:12

 

  • No one can know God except through His Son, Jesus Christ

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.  2 John 1:9

Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.  1 John 2:23

 

  • Jesus Christ and God the Father are one

Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.  But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.  My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.  I and my Father are one.  John 10:25-30

Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.  1 John 2:23

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.  John 14:10-11

That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.  John 5:23

 

  • Jesus Christ is the Son of man

When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?  Matthew 16:13

 

  • Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.  John 1:29

And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!  John 1:36

Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.  Revelation 5:12

 

  • Jesus Christ is the Light

The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.  John 1:7

 

  • Jesus Christ is the Word

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.  John 1:14

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  John 1:1

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.  1 John 5:7

And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.  Revelation 19:13

 

  • Jesus Christ is the faithful witness

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,  Revelation 1:5

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  Revelation 19:11

 

  • Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords

That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:  Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords1 Timothy 6:14-15

These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.  Revelation 17:14

And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.  Revelation 19:16

 

  • Jesus Christ is the power of God to salvation

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.  Romans 1:16

 

  • The love of God is in Christ Jesus our Lord

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 8:38-39

 

  • Jesus is the true vine, without Jesus we can do nothing

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.  John 15:4-5

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.  John 15:1

 

  • Jesus died for the sins of the world on a cross

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Romans 5:8

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.  1 Corinthians 1:18

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;  And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:  1 Corinthians 15:3-4

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  John 3:16-17

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:  And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.  1 John 2:1-2

 

  • The blood Jesus shed cleanses us from all sin

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.  1 John 1:7

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  1 John 1:9

 

  • Jesus was buried and rose from the grave, was resurrected

And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:  1 Corinthians 15:4

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.  1 Corinthians 15:20

And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.  Acts 4:33

 

  • Jesus Christ makes intercession for His believers

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.  Romans 8:34

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:  1 John 2:1

 

  • Jesus Christ is Lord both of the dead and living

For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.  Romans 14:9

 

  • Jesus ascended into Heaven and sits on the right hand of God

I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.  John 16:28

  • Jesus is the only way to salvation and the kingdom of God

  • Jesus will return to earth one day

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.  Hebrews 9:28

 

  • Every one shall see Jesus when he returns

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.  Revelation 1:7

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.  Mark 13:26

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  Matthew 24:27

  • The just will be separated from the unjust

  • Jesus will resurrect the dead in Christ

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  1 Thessalonians 4:16

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.  1 Thessalonians 4:14

 

  • Jesus will resurrect the living in Christ

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  1 Thessalonians 4:17

 

  • Jesus will judge all the world

But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.  For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.  Romans 14:10-11

For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the SonJohn 5:22

 

  • Those that believed not in Jesus will be cast into hell

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  John 3:18

I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.  John 8:24

  • Believers of Christ Jesus receive eternal life through Jesus Christ

That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.  Romans 5:21

Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Romans 6:11

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.  1 John 4:9

 

  • Those that believe in Jesus will receive their reward, the crown of life, everlasting life

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.  James 1:12

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.  Matthew 16:27

  • Heaven and earth as we know it will be destroyed

  • The kingdom of God is not of this world; not from here

  • Believers of Christ will spend eternity in the kingdom of God

  2. The leaders of your order demand total and absolute obedience to them  
  3. Only the founder of your order's writings are divinely inspired  
  4. Your order rejects the King James version of the Holy Bible  
  5. Your order acknowledges only parts of the Holy Bible  
  6. Your order believes that healing and the gifts of the Holy Spirit were only for the apostles, for people back then, and not for us today  
  7. Your order has changed parts of the King James version of the Holy Bible  
  8. The teachings of your order overrides any teachings in the King James Holy Bible  
  9. You are told by your order exactly what you must read and not read  
  10. You must cut off relationships with anyone who rejects your order's teachings, even family.  
  11. Your order rejects the divinity of Jesus or you believe He was just a good man or you do not believe Jesus is the Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born in human flesh to a virgin.

Where does it say that?

 

Jesus is God in the flesh

Jesus has always been.  Jesus has always existed

God was manifested into flesh and blood and bones into the Son of God, Jesus Christ, in order to walk on earth, interact physically with humankind, and to eventually die, shed His blood for ALL the sins of ALL the world, sacrifice His life, in order to give humankind eternal life, salvation through His resurrection from death.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.  1 Timothy 3:16

 

I believe Jesus Christ is come in the flesh

Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:  And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.  1 John 4:2-3

For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.  2 John 1:7

 

Jesus is the Christ

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.  John 20:31

God gave ALL people His Word, so that we might believe in His Son, Jesus the Christ AND that believing we might have eternal LIFE through Him.

 

 

Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  John 3:18

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.  Hebrews 4:14

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.  1 John 4:15

 

Jesus Christ is the true God AND eternal life.

Eternal life is only in Jesus Christ.  Salvation from hell is only in Jesus.  Jesus is the true God.

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.  1 John 5:20

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.  John 17:3

 

We are saved only by the grace of God through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)  Ephesians 2:5

 

We are NOT saved by works or anything we can do for God.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast.  Ephesians 2:8-9

There is nothing that we can physically DO, to make us worthy in the eyes of God to see Heaven and receive eternal life.

Nothing we could ever do on this earth can save us from hell.

We are saved from hell by the grace of God by believing in His Son, Jesus Christ.

No works, no deed, no sacrifice from us can save us.  We cannot save ourselves.  God requires nothing from us by our own hands.

 

Our faith without works is dead faith

God said that we can never be saved by our works

Only by the Grace of God is any person saved through faith in Jesus.

Our faith is alive by our works.  Our faith without our works is dead.

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.  James 2:26

Believers of Christ Jesus produce good works because of salvation, not to receive it.  Believers maintain good works because of salvation, never to gain it.

 

Salvation is given to ALL people who hold onto their faith in Jesus

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.  Hebrews 11:6

 

Saving faith in Jesus is following peace with all people.

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:  Hebrews 12:14

God says that without peace no man shall see the Lord.  Peace is a very high priority with God.

Peace is extremely serious with God.

When we die, we all want to see God and be with God for the rest of eternity.

God says that if we do not follow peace with all men AND holiness we will NOT see Him, we will perish in hell, and spend eternity separated from God.

 

Jesus the Christ, died on a cross for the sins of the world.

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.  1 Corinthians 1:18

Jesus endured the pain and shame of being crucified on a cross for the joy that was set before Him, being set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.  Hebrews 12:2

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.  John 1:29

 

 

Believing in Christ, true salvation, is FOLLOWING Christ, denying self, and taking up our cross daily and serving Jesus

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.  Luke 9:23

And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.  Luke 14:27

Jesus said whosoever does NOT bear their cross AND come after Him CANNOT be saved.

Believers follow Christ because of salvation, never to gain salvation.

 

We serve God with reverence and godly fear.

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:  For our God is a consuming fire.  Hebrews 12:28-29

DO NOT BE DECEIVED we are to have godly fear of the Lord our God AND serve God acceptably with reverence.  God is not mocked.

Do you laugh when people joke about God?  Do you think it is funny?  Do you tell jokes about God?  Do you casually use the name of our Saviour God, Jesus Christ?  Do you irreverently use the name of our Lord?

Why do you think so many people today are making fun of God, making God just a joke, making Christ the punch line of their jokes?  Who do you think influences such people to say such things about our Lord God?  Only satan mocks God, only the followers of satan mocks God.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.  Galatians 6:7-8

 

I believe from my heart that Jesus Christ is Lord.

If I believe in Jesus Christ with all my heart and ask Him to be the Lord and Saviour over all of my life, if I surrender all to Jesus, I will receive eternal life.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  Romans 10:10

 

I have eternal life because I believe in Jesus Christ and put all my trust in Him.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.  John 3:36

 

Believing in Christ Jesus is abiding in Him. 

Believing in Jesus is following the ways of Christ all the days of our lives.

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.  2 John 1:9

 

Believing in Jesus is following Christ in righteousness, overcoming sin in the world.

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.  Revelation 3:5

 

Believing in Jesus is not abiding in darkness, not living in sin.

I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.  John 12:46

Believing in Jesus is living in the Light, abiding in righteousness.

Believing in Jesus is NOT living in darkness and sin.

Believing in Jesus is NOT living in sin, not living for self pleasure, not living in the flesh, not living like the wicked world.

 

Believing in Jesus is knowing that the wages of sin is death.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Romans 6:23

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.  Galatians 6:7-8

ALL people who live to the sinful flesh will receive corruption, death in hell.

ALL people who live to the Spirit of God in righteousness will receive everlasting life.

 

Believing in Jesus is being a servant of righteousness, not sin.

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?  But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.  Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.  Romans 6:16-18

Believing in Jesus, receiving the gift of salvation from God, receiving eternal life, breaks the bonds of sin and sets us free from all sin.

Through Christ Jesus we are set free from the bondage of sin and death.

As believers of Christ, we become the servants of righteousness, not sin.

 

I keep myself separated from the world of sin and lusts of the world and evil.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.  Matthew 5:8

 

ALL people who do not separate themselves from the sins of this world will perish.

Separate from the world is how God wants all His children to live.

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.  Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.  2 Corinthians 6:16-18

The word of God reads that we are not to love the sins of the world or sinful things of this evil world.  Those people who love the sins and sinful things of this world DO NOT have the love of the Father in them.

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.  And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.  1 John 2:15-17

As children of God we must remember that this world is NOT our home.

Our home is with God in the Kingdom of Heaven, not here in this world.

We are never to lose sight of our true home, that is NOT in this world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and NOT in the pride of this life.

This sinful world is NOT of Father God.  This world we live in today is temporary, will not last for eternity, will be destroyed one day by the hand of God.

This world will pass away AND the lust of the world will be destroyed, BUT those of us who remain true to Christ, who DO the will of God will abide, live forever.

Life on this planet is nothing compared to eternal life, that the children of God will live in the Kingdom of God.

Our life here on earth is not even a fraction of life we will spend with God.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.  2 Peter 3:8

No one lives to be 1,000 years old here on earth, but God says that one day with Him will be as a thousand years AND a thousand years as one day.

God has no limits, Heaven has no limits, time is not counted, eternity is infinite, never ending.

This information puts our short life in prospective. 

Is removing sin from our lives for a few years here on this earth, worth the reward of eternal life?  You bet it is.

From a very early age, every person is taught how to give up things that we like in our life, in order to grow up and mature.

When we are a baby, we are taught to give up our baby bottles for solid food.  We are taught to use a spoon to eat with instead of our fingers.  We are taught how to use a toilet instead of depending on diapers.

Why were we taught such things?  Were our parents being mean?  Did it take away our pleasure of life, our quality of life?  Of course NOT, in fact, such lessons enabled us to grow up and enjoy life better and to achieve a better quality of life, so we could grow up and become children instead of babies.

When we get older we are taught other things, how to dress ourselves, how to make good decisions and choices for our life.  Sometimes when we are young we cannot understand why we need to go to bed at night, instead of staying up as late as we want to play.  When we get older we realize that our bodies require rest in order to function properly.

When we believe and accept Jesus into our heart and into our lives and receive salvation we are given a new heart, a new spirit and a new soul.

Our old way of sin will not work anymore in our new life.  We must put sin and unrighteousness to death.  If we do not put sin to death in our lives, we are in danger of death.

Sin and death were overcome by Jesus Christ's sacrifice of Himself on the cross for all the sins of the world. 

The death of Christ paid the price for all our sins.   The resurrection of Jesus from death to new life, gave us the opportunity to receive eternal life.

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:  John 11:25

When we received salvation and forgiveness of all our sins through Christ Jesus, we crucified our sin in our life. 

We made a decision a choice to follow Christ.  We said we will serve Christ for giving us eternal life, for the rest of our days.  We chose Christ and a life without sin, instead of a life of sin and death.

Believer of Christ do not give up sin, sin is washed away, sin is dissolved, removed from our life by the grace of God. 

Believing in Christ, receiving salvation is NOT giving up anything, it is the opposite, accepting Christ is receiving everything and much more.

Believing in Christ Jesus is life, our life, my life and your life, and abundant life, everlasting life, eternity with God.

 

Evil, unholy, unrighteous, sinful, lustful corrupt people will inherit corruption, death in hell for eternity.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  Galatians 6:7

For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.  Galatians 6:8

And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.  John 5:29

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.  1 Corinthians 15:50

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.  1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  Galatians 5:19-21

 

God says they that do such things shall NOT inherit the kingdom of God.

Do NOT be deceived by the devil.  Do not believe the lies of the devil that say this scripture does NOT apply to you, because it does and no one is exempt from the word of God.

It doesn't matter who you think you are, God said ALL people who do these things will NOT see HIM, will NOT be saved into the kingdom of God, when they die, but will perish in hell separated from God for eternity.

Don't for a minute think that you are somehow special, that you are exempt for any reason, because God is no respecter of persons, it doesn't matter if you are the leader of the biggest church in the world, God said THEY which DO such works of the flesh SHALL NOT inherit the kingdom of God.

If the works of the flesh are manifest in you, if you live in adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, sedition, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and SUCH LIKE, YOU WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD, you will never see God, you will not enter heaven.

NO ONE is exempt from the word of God, no one.

If you are living in the works of the flesh, which is a life doomed to hell, there is still time to receive salvation, if you are reading this.  If you confess Jesus Christ is the Son of God, if you accept Jesus into your heart to be the Lord and Saviour over your life, if you ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and you repent and turn from your sins, Jesus will forgive you and you will receive eternal life.

If you know someone who is not right with God, whom God does not know, who is on the path to hell, there is something that you can do for them. 

If you are a child of God, you need to pray for the lost.  Do not pray that God will bless them, you want God to save them, no matter what it takes.  We must pray that God will convict their hearts to give up their live of sin and turn to God for salvation, NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES.

No matter what it takes means that you don't care what happens to them as long as they surrender all to Jesus, as long as they are saved.  Tough love.  Some people must lose everything they think they have to see the Light of Christ and be saved.

Why do you think you can live a life full of sin and afterwards enter the kingdom of God?  Do you actually think that God says to you, that it is okay for you to live in sin?  That it doesn't matter how you live your life to sin and lusts of the flesh? God cannot sin and God does not allow sin in the lives of His children.

Who do you think you are listening to, that tells you that sin is okay?  It is not God.  Only the devil tells us that sin is okay.  God would NEVER tell anyone that living in sin is okay.

Who are you listening to?  Who did Adam and Eve listen to in the garden of God?  It was the devil that told them that it was okay to live in sin against God.  It was the devil who persuaded them sin.  It was the devil who lied and said sinning is how to really live.

It was a lie back then, and it is a lie from the devil now.   Sin is not living, sin has nothing to do with life, sin is death, and all who participate and live in sin will die.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Romans 6:23

 

The paycheck for living a life of sin is eternal death.

The gift of God for living a life free from sin is eternal life through Jesus Christ.  DO NOT BE DECEIVED - NO ONE will receive eternal life in the presence of God for living a life full of sin.

Everyone will spend eternity somewhere.  Every person, born on this earth, has the same choice where to spend eternity, either eternity in Heaven in the presence of God, or eternity in hell separated from God for eternity.  Our eternity is our choice.

Everlasting life or everlasting death, what's your choice?

 

People who DO NOT OBEY God, will be rejected by God on the day of judgment.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  Matthew 7:21

Only those people who DO the WILL OF GOD will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.  

God did NOT say those who know the will of God, or those who say they do the will of God, but God said those who DO the will of God, who perform the will of God, who receive salvation, who actively live the will of God all the days of their lives.

Even satan knows the will of God, but satan chose not to DO the will of God.  That is why God will one day be cast the devil into hell for eternity, along with all the angels that followed him from heaven, and all humanity that followed satan here on earth.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.  Matthew 7:22-23

Don't let that be you, that God says to, "DEPART FROM ME, I never knew you, you who live in sin, who performs and work iniquity."

Repent today and turn from sin, so you will NOT perish in hell for eternity.

 

The saved in Christ HOLD ONTO their salvation until the end.

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;  Hebrews 3:14

The word of God reads that IF we hold onto our confidence, our faith, our salvation, stedfast unto the end, we are made partakers of Christ.

The only thing that separates anyone from God is faith.  Without faith in God you cannot see God.

If we abandon our faith in God, we separate ourselves from God.  If we turn away from God, abandon our faith, we separate ourselves from God.  God will never leave us, but we can walk away from God.

 

Only God can forgive people of their sins. 

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  1 John 1:9

We are to confess to God and repent of sin, not like the ungodly world does, but sincerely from our heart with godly sorrow for our sin against God.  Only by true heartfelt godly sorrow and repentance will Jesus forgive our sins.

No other person living or dead can forgive sins, only God forgives sins.

 

No priest can forgive sins.

No pastor, no priest, no other person (living or dead) or thing can forgive sins, give remission of sins; only Jesus Christ forgives sin, only God forgives sins.

And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:  Hebrews 10:11

 

I worship the one true God, no one else.

Idolatry is worshiping anyone or anything other than God.  Idolatry has never been tolerated by God.  Idolatry will never be tolerated by God.

Idolatry is putting anything or anyone above God.

Why does God hate idolatry?  God is the Creator of all things.

This should be enough for anyone not to commit idolatry.

No one else put the stars in the heavens, no one else created the universe, no one else created humankind or every other creature.

God is the only Creator.  When we worship other people or things other than God, we are saying that this person or thing is more important than God.

Nothing is more important than God.  Nothing is greater than God.

When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour over our lives we are saying that God is first in our lives forever.  When we worship anything other than God we do not have God first in our lives.

 

I confess that Jesus is the Son of God.

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.  1 John 4:15

No one can receive eternal life without believing in God the Father and God the Son.

God cannot live in anyone unless they confess the Jesus is the Son of God.

God dwell in those who confess and believe that Jesus is the Son of God; We dwell in God if we confess that Jesus is the Son of God.

God can only live inside of us when we confess and believe the Jesus is the Son of God.

God dwells, lives inside of all His children when we believe and confess that Jesus is His Son, Jesus is the Son of God.

God the Father and God the Son are not separated and cannot be separated, they are one God.

I and my Father are one.  John 10:30

The word of God reads that we DO NOT believe in God the Father, if we DO NOT believe in His Son.  God the Father and God the Son are one. 

We cannot know the Father God without His Son, Jesus Christ.

At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.  He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.  John 14:20-21

Salvation, eternal life, is belief in God the Father and God the Son, Jesus Christ.  Faith in God saves.

He that hateth me hateth my Father also.  John 15:23

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  John 14:6

We are all saved the same way, by the grace of God through our faith in God.

 

I must confess I am a sinner to God and ask Jesus to forgive me of all my sins to be saved.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  Romans 10:9-10

Whole hearted belief in God saves. 

 

 

Believing in Jesus Christ is repenting from sin, turning my back to sin for the rest of my life.

I repent of ALL my sins.  I turn from all my sins, I choose NOT to sin, I choose to live for Christ and not for sin.

Repentance is turning from sin and turning to God.  Repentance is required by God for salvation.  Without repentance there is no salvation.

Repentance is required for remission of sin.  Remission of sin is required to see God.

And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;  Luke 3:3

But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.  Acts 26:20

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.  Luke 24:47

Repentance is a true change of heart from sin back to God. 

Repentance is godly sincere sorrow for sin committed against God and a pledge to God by turning from sin all the days of our life.

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.  2 Corinthians 7:10

The repentance of the world is NOT true repentance, because they say that they are sorry BUT do not turn from sin to God, the world remains in sin.

Our Lord God does NOT want any person in this world to perish in hell, BUT all people everywhere to come to repentance, turning from sin to God.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  2 Peter 3:9

 

Jesus came to call ALL sinners to repentance.

I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.  Luke 5:32

Salvation, belief in God, is not exclusive to any group of people.  Salvation is the gift of God for all people of this world who will believe in God.

 

Belief in Jesus Christ is obedience to the word of God.

God knows His children, they hear the voice of Jesus AND they follow Christ.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow meAnd I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.  John 10:27-28

Salvation is obedience to the word of God.  Faith in God is obeying God.  Answering the call of God is obedience.

We do not have salvation without obeying all of the word of God.

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.  2 John 1:9

We do not receive salvation because we obey God, but we obey God because of our salvation.

Every person in this world receives the same call from God.  Gods calls all of the people that He created, to Him.

We receive God's gift of salvation, because we answered His call to Him.

God calls everyone the same way, God calls out to us and says, "Come to Me".

When we hear the call of God and answer God "yes" and we "come to Him", He receives us as His own, we accept His free gift of salvation, by His grace through our faith in Him.

This is the mystery of God, that He chooses us to be His own children, that by His love for us and by His grace we are saved from sin and death, and given the ability to inherit His Kingdom, through our faith in Him.

 

Believing in Christ Jesus is living the rest of my life to the will of God

Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.  1 Peter 4:1-2

Through the love and grace of God we are given:

  • a new life in Christ Jesus
  • a new mind by God
  • the power of God to do the will of God.

 

Only God can save anyone from hell.

Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.  Psalm 3:8

God alone owns salvation and He alone gives salvation.

 

Jesus is only one way to God the Father.

Believing in Jesus Christ is only one way to God.  Nothing else can take you to God except putting your trust and faith in the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  John 14:6

By Jesus and no other can anyone see God.

Only those people with a current personal relationship with Jesus Christ will enter the kingdom of God.

Jesus Christ and God the Father are not separate, they are one God.

 

ALL unbelieving people will spend eternity separated from God in hell.

Unbelief in God is the only thing that separates anyone from God.

God does not cast anyone into hell, people do that themselves by not believing in Him.

Every person that ever lived has the same choice, heaven or hell, life or death.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;  Romans 1:18

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?  Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,  Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.  1 Corinthians 6:9-10

All unrighteousness is sin, ANY unrighteousness is sin, NO person who practices SIN will inherit the kingdom of God.

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  2 Thessalonians 2:10

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.  2 Thessalonians 2:12

All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.  1 John 5:17

Those people who DO the will of God will receive eternal life, abide forever.

The saved in Christ do NOT willfully sin.

 

Believers of Christ PLACE God before everything in their life.

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  Matthew 22:37

No one is exempt from falling away from God.  No one is exempt from being cut off from God.  We must hold onto our salvation for all of our life.

For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.  Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.  Romans 11:21-22

Anyone can fall away and be cut off from God for eternity.  The angels that followed after satan were not spared.  Today, all people who follow after satan will be separated from God for eternity.

For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;  2 Peter 2:4

Anyone who abides in UNBELIEF will be cut off, cut out of the kingdom of Heaven, will NOT ever see God.  There are NO exceptions, no one is exempt.

Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:  Romans 11:20

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.  Hebrews 3:12

So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.  Hebrews 3:19

Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.  Hebrews 4:11

 

The saved AND the lost will BOTH be judged by God.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.  2 Corinthians 5:10

 

Through obedience to God we receive salvation.

When we obey God by answering His call to us, which is "come to Me", when we say "yes" to God and receive His free gift of salvation, we are saved by the grace of God through faith in God alone.

We keep the word of God because of salvation, not to receive salvation.

Our assurance of our salvation is our service to God, but no one ever receives salvation through their service to God.  Salvation is the gift of God and cannot be purchased in any way, by our works or any service to God.

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.  But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.  1 John 2:3-5

 

We must forgive ALL people for ALL things in order to be forgiven by God for our sins.

We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.  Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.  1 John 3:14-15

By the grace and love of God we were forgiven.

Forgiveness was given to us by God, and because we were forgiven, we can forgive.  We forgive because we were forgiven.

 

I CANNOT purposely live in sin and be a child of God.

Sin separates anyone from God (Romans 6:23).

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.  In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.  1 John 3:9-10

Faith in God is repenting from sin, turning from sin and turning to God.  Faith in God is separating ourselves from the sin of this world, and being separated unto God and righteousness.

If I abandon my faith and turn my back on God, live a life of sin and disobedience against God, I will NOT see God, I will not enter heaven when I die. 

They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.  Titus 1:16

God says that we show who we truly are through the way we live our lives.  What is produced out from our lives, shows what is in our hearts.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.  Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  Matthew 7:18-21

We are not saved because of good works, we produce good works because of salvation.  We are all saved the same way, by the grace of God through faith in God.  We are NOT saved by works.

The instant, the very moment, we receive the gift of God of true salvation, we receive eternal life.

When believers of Christ die, our spirit is immediately with God the Father in Heaven.

Jesus will return to earth one day and resurrect the bodies of His believers both dead and alive.

And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.  Acts 24:15

 

I overcome sin because God is in me.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4

 

Nothing is impossible with God.

And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.  Mark 10:27

Believers are able to do the will of God, because we have the power of God inside of us, and all things are possible with God.

 

There is only ONE God.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.  1 John 5:7

 

We are baptized in the name of God.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  Matthew 28:19

 

 


Why can't a new Bible be written by GOD today?

New bibles are written and published every year.  Many people have claimed to have received a "new revelation" from God, to be used "in addition to" or "replacing" the Holy Bible.

God knows everything.  God knew that people would falsely claim to have "new revelations", "new words" from Him, and so He gave instructions in His word about such people and about such teachings.

What did God say?  God said "Don't believe them".  God tells us not to believe anyone who adds to or subtracts from His words.

For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of this prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:  And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this bookRevelation 22:18-19

Any word contrary - opposite - to the living word of God is false doctrine and should be avoided.

It doesn't matter who they are, any word given by anyone - teachers, preachers, leaders, religious leaders, potentates, even angels that is contrary to the word of God is false doctrine and NOT OF GOD.

If God said it - that settles it - and I believe it !

God doesn't want us to pick apart His word to the point of exhaustion and frustration.  God gave us His Holy word for our comfort - to comfort us - and to give us an expected end.  We are to comfort ourselves and one another with His word.

The word of God was given to us for instruction, "His instruction" on how to receive eternal life and how to develop our relationship with Christ, to grow in Christ.

The word of God was given to us to show us how to receive all the many gifts that God has waiting for us, the main one being love.  Love should be the basis for our life.

Loving GOD Today is the formula for achieving abundant life, here on this earth and in the world to come.  Love is the answer that God wants to give all the people of this world.  God is the source of love, because God is love.  True love cannot be found without God.  By loving GOD and sharing His love with others we please GOD, and isn't that our true purpose.
